Green Dot Customer Service Agent

Today I called Green Dot and was trying to talk to the customer service representative. On my end, the connection was strong - I could hear her clearly & there was no interference of any kind. Each time I would start to say something the customer service rep would talk at the same time, then I would stop and tell her to go ahead and say whatever she was going to say but then she would say something like oh no and there would be silence. So again, I would attempt to say something and in the middle of what I was saying, the customer service rep would interrupt and say she couldn't hear This went on for awhile until she said that she was going to end the call because she couldn't hear me.

I waited about 10 minutes and called back and the same customer service rep answered - I didn't get her name but it was a girl with a high voice. Then the call ended. I was left feeling frustrated and wondering whether or not it was a drop call or if the customer service rep hung up on me.

I needed assistance because I didn't receive the link to reset my username and password. My problem was not resolved and I was left feeling so upset.

Desired outcome: Provide me with the assistance that I needed to protect my account from my girlfriend who had access to my account because she was the one who created my account

Green Dot Blocked account

On April 21, 2021 i had a direct deposit through greendot they blocked my account thinking it was fraudulent activity everything has been verified and still will not give me access to my account i have sent in my documents numerous times they have given me more then two case numbers on the count of supposedly not finding my docs by the time i received the 4th case # i made sure i uploaded them again while speaking with the 5-6th supervisor all they did was give me the run around stress me out badly and lied after lie and still do not have my money and now the supervisor said my account is closed but, its not its just blocked .. I have asked them to close out my account and send me a cashiers check or a new card to access my account they will not.. What do i do now..

Desired outcome: Would like to access my account with a new card or actually close it with a cashiers check ..

I am going through Federal Reserve to get my issue resolved and would recommend you do the same. A young lady on BBB website who filed a complaint due to direct deposit had her issues resolved asap! It's crazy how the money hungry monsters love for us to deposit are money or upload money to the debit card. But when it is a so called fraudulent activity they want for us to send personal privacy information to them such as our ID cards with our ID information on it. The dummy in the fraudulent department named Jackie told me to send a photo of my front and back of my ID card plus me holding my ID card. She is super stupid because I definitely contact an attorney about the matter. File with the Better Business Bureau and definitely follow up with the Federal Reserve. I plan on doing it on July 26, 2021. Now I'm without my vehicle that will be repaired on Monday but have no money to get it out the shop. Plus my rent is due next week along with my direct deposit from my work set to deposit into a blocked non activated card on July 28, 2021 and I'm knowing it's going to take more than 2 business days to resolve. The money that was deposited into my debit card was a cashed stimulus check that can be verified by the Walmart representative at the money center and my receipts. Good luck!

Are you affiliated with GreenDot? I sent a message to the email and received a response. Federal Reserve is now involved, Better Business Bureau gave GreenDot to respond by August 19, 2021, A letter that needed to be revised by my attorneys office is going in the mail today to a couple of the locations listed online. FDIC provided me with a Utah address and GreenDot is owned by BonneVille Bank in Utah. I filed a complaint with Consumer Protection Division, and submitted more information to Federal Reserve San Francisco Bank Complaint Unit and stopped contacting GreenDot at this point. Plus I’m suing them because they finally released my direct deposit yesterday. My job is moving as fast as they can to get my funds in my hands plus they’re holding my stimulus check. So two of my incomes been held from GreenDot. Suing them will be better. I will in fact get my money back so no worries. I’m going to sit back and let the big boys handle the matter for me. None of this should have happened. The incompetent fools received my receipts for cashing the check and depositing it to my Visa debit and photo ID multiple times. A dumb Jackie in the fraud department told me to also send a photo with me holding my IDcin my hand as well. I cannot make this crap up. The Visa debit that I have had since 2017 is associated with my monthly bills and biweekly direct deposit. Jay from the fraud department had the audacity to tell me no direct deposit was ever tied to my account smh. So who really are the scam artist about to get in trouble? Oh I also recorded all the phone calls. I spoke with Jackie, Dilip, Iman, Yen, Alice, Chandra, Earl, Shawn, Lee, Alan, manes Kumar online chat, Roger in the Philippines in the Complaint Resolution Department, Yogesg online chat, John and Percy in the Complaint Resolution Department as well and Jay in the fraud department. The crazy part two additional cases were created yet I had been referencing one case number and submitted my documents to two different email addresses provided to me multiple times. It’s nothing but games with them and I will get the matter resolved plus my money refunded and then some. Closing cases and creating new ones but never receiving from me my supporting documents for the two other case numbers. Yep sounds like they’re scamming within. A legitimate bank disclose why you did not pass the investigation process but not GreenDot. They’re hoping me along with others will go away but that will not happened at least for me. I’m here and have nothing but time on my hand to get them straight pertaining to me and my case period. All I can say is that I hope it was worth what they were doing. All the calls were recorded ha! The next will be the local news.

Green Dot Want a refund cause didn't order this took 39.95 out of account on june 14th 2020 please put it back

Hi I have people trying too direct deposit money and it won't go through and it won't let me deposit checks by phone I've had this account now for over an year now and I'm very disappointed in it and was also thought it was free no monthly fees thank you phyllis wallace

Green Dot Unlimited visa debit card

I used my green dot debit card at the grocery store last night, even got cash back, 6/19/21. Today I went to the ATM and it was declined. I went to the hardware store, declined. Another ATM, declined. The receipt said unauthorized usage. I went on the app and called green dot. There's no block or lock on the card. I can't access my money. I can't buy food or anything else. There is money in my account. This has happened several times since I got the card. Green dot needs to leave my account alone. If I want my card locked, I'll do it myself. The only thing I expect from them is reliable customer service. Other than that, leave my card account the hell alone.

Green Dot my card is blocked

i need my money my card was blocked on june 8th. I sent my verifications on the 8th and my card is still blocked with all my money on it. everytime i call they tell me it will be fixed by the end of the day, and its never fixed. they tell me to resend my verifications and then tell me it will be another 2 days. i dont understand why its taking so long. all i want is my money.

Green Dot Dispute and customer care behavior

On may 21 2021 I recieved a direct deposit at appr.5am for the. Amount $2, 037 shortly after a transaction of $2000 was occured and my mobile app had been hacked and me email changed and the funds were transferred to a different account. It took 2 days of being hung up on left on hold and transferred to someone else who was rude or very unprofessional. once it was filed woth disputes dept. I was informed it could take up to 10 working days. It's going on 3 weeks of being told something else and handed over to someone else and eventually disconnected I have asked to talk to supervisor and was hung up on. Does anyone have some advice any other banking institutions this would have been professional taken care of in short order.

Green Dot My card has been locked

I received my tax refund on one of my two green dot cards about a month ago then I wired myself some of it to my other one and it got blocked.i been getting the runaround and submitted my id to green dot at least 4 times.greendot idk if I'll use one again.i have 1400 on it and I need it now.i am homeless and want to go to another city to work and can't because there's no work here and green dot is holding my refund.my email is efrain.[protected]@ yandex.com

Desired outcome: That green dot corporation unlocks my card with legitimate money that's mine from irs .need someone to help me unlock it as I'm homeless at moment and am scratching by on whatever comes my way..

Green Dot Blocked account

Si my account was blocked on or around May 7, 2021. I called and called and called and they kept hanging up or would never answer. They didnt answer and help me until May 21st! when they didnt hang up they gave me a email and told me to send a pic of my tribal id front and back to an email with a case number. i did and i got an email saying the email address couldnt be found so i called back the same day and was given a different email and sent it again with ro response and they didnt answer or help me again until May 27th and they gave me another totally different email and i did the same thing and sent my id and still no response! Even tho they blocked my account they are still letting netflix take out monthly charges and they are charging me the monthly fee for the account but i cannot have my iwn money! Idk how that is possible but they are! PLEASE HELP!

Desired outcome: I just want my money back.

Green Dot Blocked account

Good morning Greendot, I tried to log in this morning and it says I should reverify my ID over suspicious activities. That's very weird because the only activities on my account is my unemployment paycheck.
Now I'm trying to verify my ID the site isn't accepting my card number and when I call it says my account is blocked, please can I ask what for? My account is blocked because the government tried to verify my Greendot account to know if it's functioning and then when I'm to receive payment today I can't log in.
Please I need my account unlocked, thank you.
Incident happened this morning: 06/04/2021

Desired outcome: My account should be opened back so I can verify my IDENTITY

Green Dot Withdraw money from atm

Yes I got my tax refund back on my Green Dot card on may3rd 2021 I went to ATM on 05/04/2021 to get my money cause my baby just passed away and I tried withdraw 600 dollars out 3 times and it didn't give me my money and it took 1800 dollars out of my account I called green dot and filled a dispute and still have no recieved my money and now every time I call the agent are very rude and disrespectful and hang up on me they told me I would have my money back on my card may 21 2021 and still nothing

Green Dot Specialist Team

I reached out to Green dot specialist team reagarding my account, which at the time had 98.00 available on my account. I believe the person that took my call and knew this has something to do with a scam charge that happen 20 minutes after I got off the call with a lady from green dot specialist department. The total amount was 35.73 taken from my account leaving my balance less then what i had to pay my bill on. I called back and ask to speak with a supervisor and she told me its pending and could not do anything about it. I then had to ask the supervisor which should show if calls are recorded for Corporations phone number the number she provided me did not get me to anyone in return the number she gave stated for me to call back the same number that got me to a specialist. At this point I am very aggravated with using this again. I should have you all investigated as i believe you have a mule in the specialist department whom notice i had funds and took advantage of it.

Desired outcome: I want my money back, and i will close out this account and no longer use this either.

Green Dot Lost money with green dot card

My name is Ernest Lawson. I purchased a green dot card and put $500 on it from Safeway in Davenport WA on May 5, 2021. I was going to activate it today to use the card when I found that the card is missing. Safeway is unable to help me so I called Green Dot customer service and was told that without the card number they cannot help me nor were they able to help me talk to anyone in mgmt or give me corporates phone number so I could speak with someone there. Attached is my information photo copy of the msg Green Dot sent on May 5 the receipt of purchase and photo copies of the information that came with the card. Green Dot Greendot card

Dexter is the supervisor I spoke to and my situation was that I had my card stolen and called to call center dont know where located he would not giive me that informaiton he is still as am making htis complaint is on the phone did not even try to help about 2 weeks ago I lost my card and the lady was able to transfer my money to a temporary card and it was that easy Dexter stated that the policies have changed and is still on the phone waiting and not doing anything what I would like is my money to be transferred to my other card and I let Dexter know if I did or was not able to do that I would lose my job he did not show any care Me as a consumer he showed poor attitude and poor customer service and he is supposedly a supervisor we do lead my example sad for your company I hope he is reprimanded because the lady agent helped me with no problems my number [protected] and email is [protected]@gmail.com please contact me immediately my card number is [protected] 12/24 cvv 735 and I will probably lose my job because of this misfortune he was a very bad supervisor

Green Dot Lockcard

They locked my account because unusual activities and when I called customer service they'd explained that the system locked my card for unusual activities. I explained to them the only activities were my unemployment payments being deposit into my account every week. They said that the system triggered this as unusual activities. They asked for me to upload my ID to the email they've they provided and I have done so. With no response within a few days I called back and they gave me another email to send my ID. I sent my ID but no response within a few days and I called again. They gave me a 3rd email address to send my ID to and yet no response. I need my money!

Desired outcome: I want my money!

Green Dot Load Go2 Bank Card

I'm Ms. Tewania C Harris: I'm writing Concerning my Complaint Case # [protected].
On 4/8/21. I Loaded my Go 2 Bank $340.00
From my Renasant Debit Bank Card Account.
On 4/20/21. I Go to Walmart in Tupelo MS,
Tried to use my Go 2 Bank Card I Couldn't.
Wrong Expiration Date, Card Invalid useless.
My Bills Came I Couldn't Pay I received three
Overdraft Fees I had to Pay, I Cried Didn't have Food had to borrow Money I Paid back.
Now I'm still in a bind my Monthly Bills Due.
I've Paid to have my Card sent in 3 Days.
I've Spoken with Supervisor Stated I send
My I.D. Verify Address I sent this information
I went through tremendous Strain, Cried
Sleepless Nights Bills Due, Compensation
$1660.00 + $340.00=$2000.00. inside Check.
Mail Check to my Address: Compensation
