BookMyForex Payment not received

I had placed an order for unloading my forex card on 27th January. The company said the account details didn’t match and hence payment was denied. I updated my account details. Next when I enquired, they instead of the details I had provided had updated someone else’s account details due to which payment was again denied. I mailed my details along with picture of a cancelled cheque. Though my correct account details have been updated I’m yet to receive my payment. Is this how a professionally managed company operates?

BookMyForex Regarding international sim

Hi ..

I am facing an issue with bookmyforex services. I have raised a forex card request with one international sim on 26 th nov.

I have received the forex card but sim was not received. On asking the customer care they promised that you will receive soon. Now my travel date is near and yet sim was not delivered so i finally asked them to cancel and refund that amount. They said yes we initiated the request and you will receive refund. No refund received and now they need more time to look into this issue. Really pathetic experience with you guys.

BookMyForex Refund of sold aed

I had sold some AED to BMF on 29th November, and had shared a photo of cancelled cheque over email with BMF staff and on whatsapp with the person representing the agency (RNFI Money) that day. Was supposed to have the amount transferred to my bank account within 24 hours, but till now it hasn't happened. Keep following up with this everyday & keep getting 'it'll happen by EOD' response every time.

BookMyForex Money deducted while reloading money in Forex card

I was placing an order on 10 Nov 2023 however the order was not placed and money got transferred successfully. I have also just checked from the bank and the money is transferred successfully.

BookMyForex Unloading of Forex Card

Its been 10 days since the request for forex card unloading was raised. Even wrote multiple emails but no one cares to provide an update. The status just shows pending, there is no accountability and no one cares when they have to written the money back. Worst ever decision to buy a card from bookmyforex. Is there any escalation matrix where this can be escalated?

I emailed you a cancelled cheque copy on 28th September after your reply. No acknowledgement, no revert on the email and no refund in the account yet.

Do you even have a process in place for returning the money. Pathetic experience for the first time ever and probably the last time I'm ever transacting with Bookmyforex.

Kindly ensure the refund in next two working days in my account.

BookMyForex Unloading forex card

Have submitted my request for unloading forex card in last week of August, and there is still no progress (as of September 16). Each time I call up, I get the same response of 24-48 hours. It's callous and so unprofessional to not do their job properly. The burden should not lie with me to keep following up after every 2 days, the company should take responsibility for following through.

Thanks for responding to my complaint BMF team, but your data is incorrect. I have email records of me sending the cancelled cheque to you (and that email got acknowledged too) on 8th of September 2023, NOT the 16th as per your response. So I had to keep following up with you from the 8th to the 19th, when I finally received my money.

Additionally, before I sent the cancelled cheque to you, I wasn't even informed that my order was on hold because of incorrect details. I had to keep calling and then was told that i heeded to submit the cancelled cheque, which I did on the 8th.

Please get your facts right, team.

the app shows instant reload, false promise, makemytrip website says 3-4 hours again false customer care says 5-6 hours again false

if you keep asking they only say we are expediting the process and you will receive an email.

their phone number has average waiting time of 18mins if your luck is high.

the yes bank number provided says 12-24 hours.

atleast provide a timeline, don't lie in the name of service.

Desired outcome: cancel the order and refund the amount.

Yes the card was indeed funded but after 24 hours duration had elapsed.

so the new duration for reload should be mentioned as 24 hours on the website so that future customers are protected from panic due to no funds. the late funding has defeated the purpose of reload.hence i would request you to process with the refund

BookMyForex Wire transfer

Respected BMF,

This is regarding order with reference number FX38663653881, for which I already provided all docs and made the payment on the very next day. But very poor communication from your end has resulted in me doubting the legitimacy of the transaction. The payment status on flywire portal still shows it has payment not made, so I request you to either share the swift copy of the payment, or return back all of my money including the lock in charges and all of the fees involved as my experience has not been upto the mark. But I still do hope that the payment was made and with the swift copy, I can still get my payment verified. Please resolve this issue as early as possible as my university is not allowing me to enroll into the courses before the payment is made.

BookMyForex Forex Card

I purchased a forex card from BMF for my trip to UAE. After returning I made a request to unload my card on 7th July at an FX rate of (1 UAE Dirham = 22.3043 INR). However, it has been 4 weeks since then but the order is not fulfilled. Additionally BMF is now asking me to place a fresh order at lower FX rate. This clearly indicated blatant flouting of financial services rules and unfair trade practice of BMF to take advantage of better FX rates. Request you to fulfil the order urgently or I will be forced to take legal action. Needless to say that even 1% profiteering you make through manipulative practices can cost you hugely.

Desired outcome: Fulfil the order placed and provide interest for the period since the order is placed i.e. 7th July 2023.

Stop posting lies and misleading others. There is no progress on the order and the card is still not unloaded. So please check internally and then reply to my post. Additionally, next time around request you to attach a proof / image which shows order is fulfilled. Please check the image I've uploaded showing that order is still not fulfilled.

BookMyForex Order no - fx37881847812, utr reference no not shared funds not credited into the account. Invoice generated for namesake

I have placed the order for card unload order worth Euro 1324 on 19th July. After 35 calls to customer care invoice was generated on 26 July. No UTR reference no despite of repeated request. All customer care rep was saying, they will coordinate with concerned department and will share UTR reference code. But they are giving random reply and closing my complaint.I received the mail citing my order is completed and money is refunded to my account on 26 July. I had only received the mail and NO MONEY is credited to my account. I called up customer care 7 times. Each time they are saying, money will be credited to my account any time soon. My account details entered were correct. I do have call recording wherein I have confirmed my account details with customer care executive and he said it's correct.There was no problem with my account. I had received 37 credits from 19 July to 26 July. Check and change your deliberate polices of entering wrong account details so that you can earn interest. Your website didn't allow encashment of point fraction decimal currency. It didn't allow me encash 0.98 Euro. I have to place the order seperately and you deducted Rs 40 GST for same. Deliberate policy by company to eat customer money. If u are ethical then incorporate the system to encash entire currency including fractions and point decimal.You give the rate in point decimal.You have tendency to encash interest of customer amount. My problem only got solved when I had escalated here. Bring ethics and moral. Thank you for blocking me. I have wasted my 62 working hours to encash my own money. I wrote 57 emails. I don't have any intention to come to your website. My time is more valuable than your dirty tactics and policies to eat customer money.

I have ordered THB 5000 on forex card but I actually need THB currency. I called to customer care, they asked me order a fresh one so that they will cancel & refund the previous order. I newly ordered THB 8000 currency & I received it too.

There is no proper response on refunding my previous order of THB 5000 from bookmyforex even after continuous follow-up.

Requesting you to do needful of getting my refund asap.

Have ordered and received the forex card. As per your website, it is active

Concern: Email Id in your records is incorrect. I am unable to link the card in the app.

Due to the above :

- How do I know the balance?

- How can I add money?

BookMyForex Order not processed

I have placed order for 50euros 17th May and made payment online. Post that there was no update fr them. I kept calling on call center and in the evening I was told that your order has been rejected by bank for some reason. So I asked them to immediately refund the amount as I need to purchase from somewhere else. It's been 3 days the order has not been cancelled nor any refund. There is no communication and till today there call center is busy with wait time more than 30mins.

BookMyForex Currency Exchange from THB to INR

I requested for currency exchange from Thai Baht (8300) to Rupees (19750) on 1 May and after calling so many times and order being cancelled, the pickup was done on 4 May. However, the money was supposed to be credited in my bank account within 2 hours as mentioned by the agent. But it has been more than 2 days and the money has not been credited. These guys are not answering my calls or replying to my emails.

BookMyForex Refundable payment not received

HI,

I placed order for currency sell on 25 March 2023 and during placing order I paid refundable amount of Rs.2249 with promise that exchange of currency in a same day. Order no. FX333175060514

After even 3days I did not received any call and update on my order. So I canceled my order and got call from service center stating advance paid amount will refund soon.

Even after one month I did not got my money.

I tried to reach customer service with all means (call, chat, mail) but no response.

I request to help me get my money Rs 2249 soon.

BookMyForex Forex Card

I got my card loaded and activated - FX342907170810

but somehow missed the pin details in India. And now when I am trying to change the pin it is sending OTP on my India number which I am not using it here. I do not want to activate International Roaming as plans ae costly on my postpaid number.So, I requested to update my registered number to a different number but your team is not able to resolve the issue in 72 hours. Is this the service you provide?

I am kind of stuck. Please help asap.

BookMyForex Forex Card

My forex card with order no. FX344516534234 dated 25th April is not loaded / activated yet. I have tried reaching the customer care multiple times but even after waiting 15 to 20 mins no one attends the call. It is a very frustrating experience. They are telling that YES bank server is down and currency loading is under progress and will done today. This is the statement everyday. Now no one is responding to my request for cancellation and refund. I have sent multiple emails to [protected]@bookmyforex.com and ritik.[protected]@bookmyforex.com.

BookMyForex Forex card and Foreign Exchange Delivery

I placed my order on 24 April. Today is 27th and I am repeatedly being told that YES Bank Server is down and my Forex Card cannot be loaded.

Similarly the Cash amount has not been delivered. I am a few days away from leaving India and it is very difficult to get a firm status from them. They keep pushing the deadline.

BookMyForex regarding wire transfer

recently i have contacted to do wire transfer. initially they took Rs7000+ to lock the door exchange rate. and then next day i made a deposit to do transfer of 3500GBP. after deposit, there is no response from them, even after continuous calls and emails. i’m worried now. and once the call is connected and the way they’re talking was atrocious. they were like literally helpless. worst service. no proper communication
