Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator was designed to fail. This Gallery Refrigerator cost over $3, 000. Frigidaire knows of the problem and refused to recall or make amends for said problem. I Frigidaire's design, they installed the "charging liquid" between the Ice Maker and the back wall of the refrigerator. This is causing the back wall to freeze and make an ice ball on the back wall. Which in turn rusts and is deteriorating in that spot. Not to mention the water and rust below it and migrating to the floor. I would like a NEW Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator of equal size with all the bells and whistles that I have now on our defective Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator. This Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator has a faulty design and I feel Frigidaire owes me a New Gallery Refrigerator.

I have NOT been able to resolve this issue by not being able to talk to a human rep.

Oven
Our oven has a digital control panel. We have owned the oven just over a year, and the panel already failed twice. The service technician literally told us, this is a design flaw and WILL keep failing. He said they all do, all the time.
And the service lines are simply not answering. They keep saying to call back some other time.
I regret ever buying this brand.
Built to fail, require continuous service contracts, and deplorable respect for consumers that keep them in business.
Gallery model refrigerator
Unit makes a squeaking sound lasting about 5 minutes; happens several times a day.
Had a repair person out to look at it and called Frigidaire 800 line.
The sound, which can be heard rooms away from unit, is "normal" for Frigidaire refrigerators according to Frigidaire and nothing can be done about it.
Since this is apparently the company's designed-in issue, I would discourage anyone from buying Frigidaire products.

I bought two of these units, one is 2 years old, the other one year old, and both have stopped working due to compressor failure, and these units have never been misused or not taken care of. The warranty advertised is 4 years on the compressor parts of this unit, but Frigidare will not answer their phones and have not responded to emails. They are totally ignoring any customer complaints, and use the Covid19 as an excuse not to answer their phones or respond to emails in order to honor their warranty when their products fail is truly outrageous and unacceptable for an established company that relies on the trust of the customer.
This dehumidifier product was built not to last very long, and is not repairable. It is sealed, no technician can work on it, there are no spare parts, and it is designed to fail and be replaced after just a year or two of use. They want you to buy another unit after just a year or two of use, and after word finally gets out how poor the product is, then they come up with a new models every few years. Do not believe online reviews of how great their products work when the reviewer has just bought the product; it always seem great just after purchase. The online review sites also give five stars all the time to these products, but never tell the truth to the public about how poorly the unit is built so that it does not last. This model turns out to be poorly built and has been discontinued after only a few years on the market, but Frigidare does not honor its warranty promises they advertised for this product. They have simply decided to abandon the consumer and ignore any requests made to refund the customer or replace the unit. Now, Frigidare has put out a new dehumidifier model, and hope that consumers will continue to waste their money and time and energy on bad products. Furthermore, this throw away mentality costs the environment and our trash problems just as much as the costs to society. Frigidare should not be allowed to get away with such shoddy business practices.
Do NOT buy Frigidare products; if you do, get an extended warranty, but be warned; they do NOT honor their warranty. The only recourse for consumers would be a boycott of their products. A class action suit would only enrich lawyers and waste everyone's time and money. I will not buy any Frigidare products regardless if it is made in the US or not.
20 cubic foot freezer
Purchase the product on line from Home Depot on May 01, 2020. Product delivered on June 04. 2020. Upper part of freezer, does not freeze. Called Frigidaire and reported that we need repair, had lost $300 worth of food. Frigidaire scheduled appt. with a repair company (Freddy's) called repair company and they are refusing to come out. Called Frigidaire back got rescheduled with another company (Inman) who also refuses to come out. Now being told we have to wait a week for them to look for someone else. Called and asked them just to come and pick up freezer, they refused. I do not want this heap of junk.
Range
I wish I had read the complaints before purchasing. I purchased the range from Lowes November 30, 2018 and in March 2020, the oven and broiler no longer works. Worse, Frigidaire customer care seems to care less. 2 service call and a back ordered part and the manager Larry Graham acted like I should be grateful that they allowed me to PURCHASE an extended warranty on a major appliance that broke within 1 1/2 years...REALLY? Now I have to wait until May 15 to hopefully get a part that may not even be the problem and then wait until repairman can come and replace the part. Totally dissatisfied!

We purchased this refrigerator from Lowes on 9/3/18 and it was delivered on 9/16/18. In December the top icemaker stopped working. It was January 2019 before a service company was assigned to the repair, and on 1/8/19 Aegis refused to come to repair the item due to distance. Good Guy Appliance finally came in February 2019 Fix #1. No ice #2 was on April 17 repaired again by Good Guys 5/19. 11/27/19 No ice again #3 and food freezing in the back. A&E tech came declared it was working and left without fixing issue. Ice maker did work again without repair until 4/27 when it froze up again on April 25, #4. I called Lowes and they cannot find a repair person in their system, as I had purchased their extended warranty, never being offered a Frigidaire extended warranty. For the price we paid for this item, we are disgusted with the companies failure to address this issue, the quality of this product and the response I originally got from your customer service department (4/28). I did get a more helpful response from a supervisor (Sharon) at my request. I cannot believe that Frigidaire had failed to effectively resolve a mechanical issue that appears to be constant for this product (based on internet complaints). Lowe's appears to be talking about a warranty buyout rather than attempting further repairs. It is my hope that Frigidaire would at least provide us with an extended warranty on this refrigerator even if only for this issue at a minimum or replace this refrigerator in good faith. You have all documents needed in the records for this appliance as submitted prior to the 4/17/2020 failure.
Icemaker
I purchased my refrigerator in 2016. On Feb 2, 2017 the icemaker stopped working. It was repaired. It worked for 9 months, until Novembe 24, 2017 and then broke again. Got fixed again on December 6, 2018, March 19, 2019, April15, 2019, May 6, 2019 and again on May 14, 2019.
Icemaker worked untl April 17, 2020. Called to get it repaired. The icemaker was replaced. Still no ice. Technician supposed to come again on April 29th.
I had requested a replacement last year after the 5th time and was told that since the icemaker can be repaired, they would not replace the refrigerator.
This is horrible. I will never buy anything from Frigidaire again. This company really does not care. The only reason I keep getting this piece of junk repaired is because I purchased the extended warranty from them.

As I mentioned, this problem has been ongoing for almost a year and a half. They just keep sending technicians from different companies to try and fix the problem. My fridge is obviously a lemon but the company just keeps trying to repair it.

Portable Ice Maker
I purchased a Portable Ice Maker from Amazon it was a Frigidaire. After 37 days the product stopped making Ice and had a TERRIBLE smell. I called Amazon they told me that it was passed the 30 days and I would have to contact Frigidaire for a Warranty . So I did. Feb 17th. Here is is April 17th and I'm still getting the run around from Customer Svr. I've sent them everything they needed I was at the ending stage they told me to Mash it with a BAT or HAMMER video it and send it to them. I e-mailed back and told them I'm not a violent person, I would deposed of the unit the proper way. I was told after I mashed it to deposed of it. I did what I was told. I took it to our Local Transfer Station and deposed of it the proper way. But I didn't take a picture of the attendant taking it out . SOOOO basically now they're telling me I need proof of me getting rid of it. I told them I have NO PROOF of going to the Transfer Station. You drive in they take the product and you drive out. I've given them Pictures of Unit, Proof Of Purchase, Proof of cut Labels & cut Cord. Not sure where it goes from here. I keep getting CANNED LETTERS saying the samething. It's been 3 months. I wont be buying another Frigidaire product. I purchased a package deal through a home purchase 2018 and am very dissatisfied with the product. The ice maker runs and sounds like a haunted house. I have to turn it off at night, otherwise it wakes up the household. In addition to the noise the front of the doors has smudges that can not be removed no matter what I do. It always looks smudgy. I have tried everything to get a shine. Including baby oil. The stove top is the same thing, Never will I ever buy a frigidaire.

I have contacted your company over 6 times to complain about a stove that nearly killed my mother and the lack of urgency to fix this issue is beyond comprehension. I spoke to reps who never return phone calls, supervisors who are BEYOND rude and here I am over a week later and my 73 year old mother still cannot make meals because of this issue...ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Dehumidifier . Purchased 1.5 years ago still under warranty, no longer make the model ? New one will not fit space, have over 8 hours in 3 phone calls placed to frigidare, have sent 4 emails and 3 phone calls, have heard nothing, no call backs, avoid this company like the Plague. Leaving now to buy another dehumidifier, will not consider this brand at any point in the future .
I understand this customers frustration. I hope it was resolved. We bought a new AC last June. When we installed it this year it was broken. It’s under warranty. To get a new one, they had us cut the cord and send our receipt in, along with a photo of our AC with the cord cut. In the email they initially sent, they said it would be ten days. They told us to keep the old unit until they sent the new one. (Presumably when we do dispose of it, it will be at our time and expense.) Now, well over two weeks later, we have not received a new unit that our child keeps tripping over. For days we could not get a human being on the phone and we have an air conditioner with the cord cut sitting on the side of our house because we have no other place to keep it. Every time we tried to call, the automated system tells us they’re experiencing “high call volume” and hangs up on us. Finally today, after long wait time, my husband got through, and was told it’s “peak season” and that they “don’t know when” we will get another unit, though they had previously stated in writing that it would be ten days. So now we wait to see if we get a replacement AC ever. It feels like the runaround to me. I have never dealt with a company that seems to care less about its customers. I will never purchase another product from this company.

Around 1/2/20 my 2 year old refrigerator which I have an extended warranty stopped making ice. I contacted Frigidaire and they arranged for a company Advance Solutions (888-420-9806) to come in an evaluate the situations. The first time was 1/13/20, the repair man Ellis readjusted the temperatures on the refrigerator and said give it 24 hours if you don't get ice call me. After still not making ice I called Ellis and Advance solutions and notified them. They informed me that needed to order parts and would return to complete the repair. Advance notified me on 1/29/20 that the parts were received and Ellis would be coming to my home the next day 1/30/20 to complete the repair. Ellis came as promised but unfortunately did not have the parts so nothing was done. I again called Advance who informed me there was a problem they were not sure where my parts were but they would reorder the parts. Ellis returned for the third time today, Thursday, 2/6/20 with the parts, I think it was a water valve. Ellis proceeded to remove the old part in doing so he damaged the water line which caused the line to leak. He admitted that the waterline was not leaking until he attempted to remove it and told me he could not do the replacement as a result of the damage he caused and he shut the water off to the refrigerator and told me to call a plumber. He received his telephone instructions on how to dismantle the old part from some one he referred to as his"boss". I said "Ellis you caused and admitted to my wife and I that you created the damage and know you want me to incur the expense of a plumber as a result of the damages caused by you"? He packed his tools up and left me with a leaking water line and no access to water or ice.
I immediately contacted Advance Solutions to inform them of the damages their technician had caused.
The gentlemen said he would speak to the "boss" and get back to me. It is know 3 hours later and no one from Advance Solutions has contacted me. I called Frigidaire to inform them of my situation and they have arranged for another repair service MTE Mechanical to come to my home on Monday 2/10/20.
It is know 5 weeks later and not only due I have no access to water or ice but I have a damaged water line and a leak. My wife and I are both disabled and suffer from a variety of health issues which are impacted by these neglectful circumstances.
PLEASE HELP!

We purchased this product on 23 July 2016. The lower handle (attached to the Fridge not the Freezer) broke around Feb. 2017. So we ordered a new handle and paid $59.36. Now this handle is also broken. The reason is the top of the lower handle is too weak and every time we open the Fridge door, the top part of the handle undergoes a lot of physical stress.
I phoned the Frigidaire Manufacturer's customer service and was told the best they can do is give me 20% discount. I cannot keep on buying new handles for ever. I was just asking for two free handles. I can pick them up from Coast Wholesale Appliances 8488 Main St. Vancouver, BC. Thanks

I had planned on using these 2 products together; one in my kitchen [refrigerator]; the other in my mud room [freezer]. I disliked the available refrigerator originally. I do not like it anymore now. microwave and stove
I bought the Frigidaire gallery package with refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher on 9/2/16. Now only 3/12 years later I am looking at buying another stove and microwave. The stove has an terrible smell when I use the oven. It's unbearable and we can no longer use it. Also a week after that problem the microwave stopped working. I replaced the fuse and it immediately blew again. So now both the microwave and stove are unusable. I am a very careful clean person and take care of my home and appliances. I didn't expect to have to buy new stuff after I just bought new stuff only 3 and 1/2 years ago.

My microwave was installed approx. 1.5 years ago when I remodeled my kitchen, and has begun blowing fuses. From my research, I understand that this is a common complaint with newer Frigidaire microwaves. I do not have an extended warranty. Why is this such a prominent problem with your microwave ovens? Under the circumstances, what are you prepared to offer as a solution to this reocurring issue with my microwave? I'm involved with the industry and can tell you this isn't a common problem. If it is blowing fuses continually, there is something else that's become a problem with the unit. Although you could pay to have service technician scheduled, I'd suggest just replacing the unit, possibly with the very same model as to save any hassle over remounting a different unit.

I am complaining about my refrigerator
We bought the whole set of Gallery Series in 2012. Our refrigerator have been serviced three different times all within the ice maker. We did not purchase extended warranty, because spending the money we did, we thought we wouldn't have the problems we have had. We have been spending more money on this one appliance. This is the worse product to purchase and I will never buy another Frigidaire product again and will not recommend this brand to anyone I know. You can't get to many repairmen to touch it.
