Food4Less Trucking

Good morning, this am one for you sublet drivers did not move over for me on freeway. Gave me slim area to on shoulder and small area between him and truck in front of me. Drivers cab had G&G trucking on the drivers door. CA 138535 was door tag.

As I put my turn signal to merge over he sped up to go around me and no turn signal was used.

Food4Less Service

I wanted to purchase some deodorant, but it was locked up. I waited in line to ask the cashier , Kasandra, if she can send someone to unlock the doors to the deodorant.

Her reply was: can't you see that my light is off, so go and wait in another line and ask them.

I asked her if I can speak to her manager because I don't like her reaction. She told me, as if it is no big deal, " I'll call her right now. "

I spoke with Olga, the manager. Her response was that she will talk to her--- yet her demeanor showed carelessness.

Food4Less Kroger frozen biscuits

The frozen biscuits were expired I didn't look at the date I brought them on Sunday June 25, 2023 I attempted to make some for breakfast but I noticed they didn't rise then on June 28, 2023 I attempted to make chicken and dumplings and the biscuits became mushy so I checked the date and it was best buy January 2023 I called the store on 6700 Cherry Ave Long Beach CA, 90805 and let them know that they may want to check their Kroger biscuits and she said they would, I never had a problem with the food from food for less or the cashier's always polite I just wanted to bring it to their attention to check the food

Yes my name is Anita Melini , I’m a customer from Food for less, for so many years at different locations, and I’m also love to help people, when they don’t have the amount of money that they need to pay, there atems so I always help them out and pay it with cash or with my kids food stamps . And woman’s with kids or older people I bless them with what I have and who will knows today November 29,2023 one of my kids are very Sick and all I was counting was with $20 plus $2.87 cents of food stamps so it was not much for the items that I was taking home for my kids I’m single mom with 2 autism child , and to be honest I have been with out any extra food or money and today Mrs Tania charge me I told her please make it worth for $20 dls cash plus $287 change of food stamps my child is sick so the total was $23.81 so it was missing $.83 cents and Mrs Tania bless me with a dollar and I’m thank her for the support of today with her Dollar cause not all the cashier’s help that way and today I want to thank her in public for her kindness thank you

Ok I went into your store in Albany ga to receive 20.00 cash back your on duty store manager told me that I could not receive cash back and told me I would have to use the ATM I informed her that it was not possible she then gone tell me ask Bill I said where is he she gone say he'll be here Friday I informed here I needed my cash now and she Blanton ignored me

Food4Less Security

I am a veteran of the US Army and live near by in a veteran community. We frequent this store often as it's the only one in the area. Yesterday around 1pm I came to the store to purchase a few items with a couple of other veterans from my building. I was stopped by your security guard and told I wasn't allowed in your store because 'me and my posse stole a beer the last time that you were here!' This was the excuse the guard gave me for asking me to leave. I didn't understand what he was talking about and was offended by his claims. I asked to speak to a manager and he continued to entice an argument. I have never taken a thing from your store so and collective spend alot of money here between myself and the other vets. A very unnecessary altercation ensues due to this guards unprofessionalism until a manager shows up. The manager allows us to enter the store to the dismay of the guard who continued to carry on in a juvenile manner loudly being disrespectful the ENtiRE time we are shopping. There was a couple that appeared to be egging it on as they were there the entire time even attempting to interject rather than shopping for groceries which was ALL I went there to do. As we exit the store the guard continued to egg on an altercation. I cannot understand why food 4 less would employee such disrespectful unprofessional children. When the manager said we were fine the guard should have acted accordingly but instead wanted to carry out his personal vendetta at the workplace to his advantage. Disappointing all around.

Food4Less Food

The staff is rude at the Apple Valley. The products are not in stock where they need to be positioned. The staffing has poor training ethics. The Food for less should change the name to Food for More. I bought 2 Avocados 2 for 5 bucks. They were both black the next two days. I'm writing this now because I'm fed up with the disrespect the staff has exhibited towards me. I have long-time since it opened in Apple Valley. This is an ongoing problem and needs to address. The manager there at gave me a nasty look like if I was undocumented person. Several months ago, the same manager would honor wrong placed item for price. Instead, she moved item to the correct place. I just let it go. I meat is advertised with a sign which read 3.99 on sign but everything 5.99 per pound. This happens all time. I have complaints but these are a few to begin with. I will continue to shop there because I know are country is going to rough times. We need to bring back ethical business practice. Retired UPS Teamster of 38 rounds of hard work and good work ethics. Please help.

Food4Less The state of the women’s restroom

The state of the women’s restroom

I have been shopping at the store in Moreno Valley on the corner of Perris Boulevard and Ironwood for over 25 years

The state of the woman’s restroom just continues to get worse and worse you can see the floors are disgusting the baby changing table which I need for my granddaughter is nonexistent, The walls and grout are filthy which you can see in the photos I posted the base coving is chipped and loose which is against health department regulations. Everything in this bathroom is disgusting I have to use my shirt over my hand to even open it. There’s also a dirty toilet brush on the floor please clean this bathroom up so I can use it when I’m with my granddaughter or else I’ll have to shop elsewhere

Food4Less Trash, graffiti, homeless people.

Homeless people camping on parking lot and sleeping overnight. Trash on all over parking lot not picked up at least 4 days, graffiti on store walls and cinder block fences. Homeless people smoking crack on employee’s outdoor break area. Motor homes parked 24 hours and camping out on parking lot.

Disgusting customer’s view for a Food 4 less store. The facility has a camera on parking lot. I do not see a supervisor telling homeless people to leave facility.

Desired outcome: Get new store manager to handle homeless people problem .

Food4Less Customer service

I was shopping at the store on 71st S Ashland 10/06/2021 @ around 3-3:30pm. The store was packed and it was only 2 registers open. I asked if they could open another register, and they did. During my check out, I saw that I was charged 19.99 for some shrimp that displayed the price as 11.99. I when to the costumer service desk, no one was there. I stood there for about 10mins. I when to the bathroom and the bathroom was so nasty, the floor was wet and the tissue was on the floor. I came out still no one at the desk. I waited another8-10mins. I look around and I see 2 girls talking, 1 had a smock on so I asked her can we get so service at the desk. She said hold on a sec and the other girl left the store. by this time 4 or 5 people was at the service desk. the girl ignored me and started servicing everyone at the deck before me and I was the 1st one at the desk. by this time the manager was standing there scratching off his instant ticket he got out the machine. I informed the girl that I was first. she completely ignored me. I said HELLO to get her attention but the manager said he will do the price check. This man had me standing there while he continued to scratch his tickets (lottery tickets). I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I told him what he was doing was personal and he could scratch his tickets when they clear the store out. This manager when off. Not only was his breath offensive but he had a body odor, u can see the dirt in his dreadlocks and his clothes look like he slept and ate in them. He wouldn't say his name. He was black and 25-35 years old and he has long dirty dreadlocks. We were going back and forth in front of the whole store about me being the last person to be serviced and I was first 1st in line. I left the store with him talking to my back saying Im barred out my neighborhood store and how I probably used a link card, nor did he do the price check. I went back this morning to get a photo to go with my receipt. Managers need to look the part if they are representing Food4less. Doing personal things like scratching lottery instant tickets shouldn't be done with a packed store. It was unreal. People get sued for this type of thing. to speak to someone that can resolve this matter. I included my receipt & the display price. As far as the girl is concerned she needs to be transferred and demoted or fired. For the manager transferred, demoted and or fired. Both of their behavior was the worst costumer service I ever saw in my 50 years on this earth. Im sure Food4less has a standard and they did not uphold your standards. I was so upset I had to file this claim. Their behavior was discussing.

Food4Less Jarritos drinking sparkling water sold at food for less

I normally purchase Geyser sparkling mineral water. The store was out but had JARRITOS Mexican brand mineral water. I purchased 10-botles. I consumed one bottle in two days and by the third day my entire body was covered in blistering hives and scared my arms and legs. I did not consume anything different from my diet except the Jarritos mineral water. I looked at the back of one of the bottles to check for the ingredients and noticed that it contained SULFITES. I am highly elegiac to SULFITES I did not expect for sparkling water to contain SULFITES since have been banned in food consumption since 1986. I went to Food For Less in Vista California and spoke with the cashier and the manager at 6:45 p.m. and I informed them of the statement I made above. The response was shocking because they were defending JARRITOS and said things like. "I do not have an allergic reaction to sulfites and sulfites are in wire" or "you need to contact the manufacturer if you are not happy with the product" "man I just work here what do you want me to do" "its not my fault you have an allergic reaction you can have your food delivered to you if you got sick." I mean the response from both managers was ridiculous, uninformed, ignorant, and shocking to the mind for someone who is suppose to be in charge of chain store. The manager was ill informed, no experience or education with product liability, customer service, or process in which to report the sale of a food item that is harmful and has killed the public and certainly banned for consumption. The manager stated that was my fault because I did not read the label. However, I did not expect a banned substance to be present in large qualities in DRINKING WATER. Food for less needs to contact me and inform me of the complaint process and how to report such items that are harmful and have been known to cause deaths in the food industry.

Food4Less Check Out

first thing is I shop at this store just about everyday! Yesterday I went in to buy cat food no cat-food on the shelves only 3 cans of luvsome so I grab those I wait in line with my few items for a good 15 minutes I finally get to counter and the cashier her name is Grace F. I say hello she totally ignores me a man who later I find out is the manager John Ewing is standing behind her asking her about her finger nails not even acknowledging me at the counter so I wait then the lady says no I can't buy the cat food Im like excuse me then the man John who is flirting with her says no it's okay sale the cat-food I am so confused? Then she checks me out I realize she didn't offer me a bag so I ask can I have a bag hears a quarter she said no take your nasty attitude out of here again i'm like excuse me your not going to give me a bag? So I say where's the manager she goes you [censored]en [censored] heres your bag! At this point I am shaking asking for a manager the man standing behind her was the manager and he left! I have never been treated like that by any employee at this store her name is Grace F. and the managers name is Jon Ewing some kind of discipline action needs to be taken wow just wow I was verbally abused for no reason by this lady cashier at food for less

Food4Less Checker at the register

I'm at the Food 4 Less in Pasadena off of Washington and Lake town we are Checkers bellativa Tatiana was very rude to me she asked me if I needed a bag while she was checking me out and didn't give me one so I asked her for one and she got rude as she proceeded to talk on her cell phone I don't think I'll be going back to that store again I didn't know it was okay for people that work at the store has to be on their phones while they're dealing with the customers

Food4Less Mistreatment of customers

No response from the company with several attempts to be taken care of for this incident:

I was shopping on 4/10/2020 at the Food 4 Less at 7730 Hazard Center Dr, San Diego, CA 92108 around 10 am. I am a disabled, two time combat veteran from the United States Marine Corps. It is difficult to get around and I have to limit myself to going out because of my disabilities and COVID-19 (the Corona Virus) and I have a compromised immune system due to my time in service. It has been difficult to get food because of my physical and mental impairments and even more difficult nowadays as everyone keep emptying the shelves. I finally was able to get some food as there was plenty on the shelves. When I got to the check out, the cashier asked another employee if there was a limit on pasta. She did not know so she called the manager. The manager came over, after yelling out the door at someone. The cashier asked the manager what the limit was. The manager starts yelling at me about bringing in bags, so he goes and gets a cart to put the groceries in. He starts to yell at me calling me "a store" I was a store and there is a limit. My first thought was that he assumed I was buying groceries for a market that I owned. I was standing there in a torn up jacket, leaning on a cane. You can obviously tell I was handicap and not financially able to own a store. I asked him what the limit were so I could find out what I could buy and he repeatedly said "personal consumption, personal consumption!" He never defined what personal consumption equated to. He was yelling so loud that people at other check stands were looking at me in disgust. He starts throwing the food that I wanted to buy into the grocery cart to include things that were brought to the check out as one or two items. The fact is, there was no limit as it was not posted and he didn't have an answer as to what was personal consumption. Even the stuff that he said was fine because it was already rung up, he was throwing back in the cart. I gave back the couple of items that were in a bag so I could leave. I felt depressed, ashamed, as if I was a burden to society. I left with no food, mentally distraught, was in pain for about a week. I can't go back because of embarrassment and I don't want to repeat the anguish that I suffered. He could see me leaning on my cane and could have had some compassion or even just spoke in a professional manner, and talked to me in a regular voice to see what the situation was. I could have explained to him my situation and he could have given me his thoughts on it, and we could have come to some sort of agreement. Win-win situation. Bottom line is that I could have left something to eat, instead of empty handed. I tried twice by on-line e-mail and twice by phone to the corporate office to get this addressed, so that I can get some groceries. The e-mails were never responded to and the ones on phones didn't care. People around me have been helping me out a little but they are limited as most people are out of work because of COVID-19.

Now it comes time that I have to do something to help get my situation resolved. I can't imagine how many others were abused as bad as or worse than me. I want to make this national so that it grabs the attention of this organization to ensure that people aren't treated abusively anymore. I shudder to think of some elderly woman getting treated that way with their physical and mental deficiency as well. As of now, I don't know what the future holds for me. No one should be treated this way, especially someone like me with PTSD and a host of physical ailments. If this is the way this organization treats a disabled, combat veteran, I can't imagine how they treat someone they don't like.

Food4Less safety

I screen recorded a video from a worker at food 4 less #337.. I use to be friends with the worker who recorded it and her name is natalie hernadez she recorded another utility clerk jasmine I don't know her last name.. Being on a fortlift and a manager lauro gamboa lifted her on the fortlift while being on the fortlift.. The manager will not do anything about it.. I was trying to get to the point of where she was being lifted.. But there's other things in the video before you get to the point of her on the fortlift

Food4Less gas station

I just went to put gas in Perris, Ca at approximately 2100. I go to the window and I place $20 inside and ask if I can input my rewards #. Mariah says yes and I place my hand inside to punch in the phone number. Well next thing I know she has slammed down the window in an attempt to reach for the 20 and smashes my finger inside the window. My fingers are swollen and throbbing and she is profusely apologizing. This was completely unacceptable.

Food4Less kroger milk vit d

I have been buying the milk for at least a year for $2.65 a gallon. Recently the price went up to $2.79. ( or 14 cents more per gal) There is a sign above the milk stating "NEW LOWER PRICE". This is not correct. When I mentioned this to a lady who said she was a manager she told me she would take the sign down because it was obviously not true. A week later I went back and the sign was still there. Also, I was charged $3.29 once for this same $2.79 milk. This is not the only time that I've noticed problems with your Lemon Grove store. Accuracy does not seem to be a priority at this location.

Food4Less large chicken order purchase

On 8/7/2018 I went to the Food 4 Less store located at 4831 W North Avenue in Chicago. I ordered 200 pieces of chicken for my mom's 95th birthday party. I requested 125 fried and 75 baked. The young lady who took my order was very courteous and helpful. She said I could pick the chicken up the day of the event which was Saturday 8/11, at around 4. I sent my niece to pick it and to my shock and surprise, my niece called me to say that there was NO Chicken ready or available. The persons that my niece spoke to gave her no reason for my order not being ready. No one she talked seemed to know why! Very bad experience!.
They refunded my money but the incident caused me to have to go some where else at the last minute to find 200 pieces of chicken! I went to Food 4 Less because the amount of chicken for the price was great, but with them not filing my order, I actually ending up spending 80$ more at another place! NOT A HAPPPY CUSTOMER!

Food4Less order 96 cupcakes 1 month in advance

1 month in advance I placed my order for my 96 cupcakes. Disappointed when I only received half of my order and the wrong kind! Never received a call from the bakery why I was only getting half my order and why they changed it. Lady behind the counter says do you want me to call the manager? Yes! Please! As she calling the barkey manager cell phone she ignored calls and she said this is mistake! They advise assist manager and aploplozied still kept trying to get ahold of the. Bakery manager to explain why I only received half my order and a different favor! Then the store manager robert comes over and says what the problem. I told him that not only did I place my order 1 month in advance a week before I double checked my and even called 2 days before my pick up day to double on my order and they bakey manager confirmed over the phone and in person last week my order will be ready at the time I requested. And now I only have have 48 cupcakes and a different color and favor! He answer to me was "well I can't do nothing about it you need to come back tomorrow and talk to the barkey manager or pick out other cupcakes and I will give you a discount". Then tell the assist manager stop calling the barkey manager I already took careof it of the problem! I proceeded to tell him as a loyal customer for 17 years! Always ordering my cupcakes here i'm not satisfied. With half my order and the wrong favor and my party tomorrow out of town and you want me to change my plans just to receive an explanation. He then told oh well pick other cupcakes and come back tomorrow and take it up with the barkey manager. Meanwhile I told the assist manager you have to make this right. He finds a cashier who use to be in the bakery makes my cupcakes. Please just wait 20 minutes to make you some cupcakes you would like. While he helps get everything she needed to make my cupcakes. 45 minutes later I received my cupcakes but not the same color, flavor or swirls but I had 96 cupcakes. Meanwhile assist manager tells me thanks for waiting and dont forget about your discount and sorry he could not give me an explanation. I went in line to pay when I tell the cashier your manager said to call him for my discount for receiving the wrong cupcakes. He comes over and says i'm not giving you a discount I told you to come back tomorrow and talk to the bakery manager. So if I picked out other cupcakes you said you going to give me a discount you lied to me and provided no solution! I was shaking my head no and said no that's your job! If your wife family member friend placed a cupcake order you would not treat them like this! You make sure they what they ordered was correct and be correctes and they would be upset if she only received half her order different flavor and now half. Are different color! Then says "I already give you a solution to take it up the barkey manager!" I told him as a manager robert you know nothing about customer service! His response "I know' and then as he was walking away I told him his manager skills sucked and he said 'I know i've only been doing this for a couple months!" rudeley walks away! Not to mention other customers around. He my experience horrible and embarrassing! Even the customer said where saying what a [censored]! That's unprofessional! The sweet cashier lady looks at my paper order and see its wrong! This is not right at all! She then asked me what happened. I told her and let know i'm going to sumit a complain about him! She continue to apologized and say that's not right! And tells me I cant say anything to him he is the manager of all of us. I told her he does not need to be the manager of nobody if he doesn't know his basic customer skills and manager skills! She tells i'm going to charge for the correct order because its not right! She kept looking over her shoulder and no I don't want to get you in trouble for doing your job correctly. She says but its not right you order mini cupcakes and received the wrong order why do have to pay for someone's else mistance. I said thank you so much for understanding and make it right! And I tell her the assist manager needs to manager! She says I know! I appreciated what she did for me. I thanked the assist manager & the cashier lady who make my other cupcakes. I said you all for coming together as a team and understanding the meaning of customer satisfaction and service. And informed that after 17 years of getting my cupcakes this is the first time it went wrong and last! I let them know I will not be ordering my cupcakes or coming back to this store as long robert is the manager. He needs to get retrained on basic customer satisfaction! Manger skills! And never seen the customer service counter with so many people complaining! While he did nothing to help them either!
