Firehouse Subs review: Tiping

I don't care for the idea of being asked for a tip on screen as soon as order is placed. The employees did nothing to deserve a tip. I had to fix my own drink, get up to pick up my order, no one came and asked if the food was ok and had to clean up after myself when I was finished. It made me wonder what happens to customers food if you don't tip! I would much prefer being asked to donate for Fireman equipment. That I have no problem with. I have always got great subs from Firehouse Subs and had always hoped to get a Firehouse Sub in Boone NC. But asking for a tip has really made me rethink eating at Firehouse Subs.
