Why we have to get on here and make a complaint? Why we can't talk to no one on the number that you have on your website .we are being made a fool of in the store and nothing is being done about.until 5 days later.come on family dollar you can do better than this.talked with manager 4 hours later and she try ed to lie for the employee until I told her I was retired but didn't tell her where.then she said you are right.I said I know I am right.

Family Dollar return policy

I purchased a bra set that included two bras. When I arrived at home I took both bras of the hanger. After doing that I realized they weren't gonna fit
I did not try them and on and I still have the price tags that was on it. So my question is why can't I return and get my money back? I think if it can't be returned then it should be written somewhere on the receipt or somewhere in stores about the return policy. It shouldn't say you can return within 30 days with receipt because that's false advertisement. I can't return my product even though I have receipt and its within the first 30 days..

Family Dollar temptations cat treats

I purchased an item on (Temptations Cat Treats) on 7/18/19.

Unfortunately, my cat did not eat these treats so I brought RN back to to store I purchased them to exchange (with a receipt) them for another brand. I was refused and told that your policy doesn't exchange opened packages.

I then, went online to confirm the store's exchange policy...Your policy does not state that items cannot be exchanged if they are opened...

This Manager, Marcy advised to call the corporate office and refused to read the policy for clarification.

It is very disappointing when I am a frequent customer and I was denied to exchange a product with a receipt within n 30 days of purchase.

I would like to be compensated for the way I was handled at this location by a manger who clearly is uninformed or simply ignorant about the exchange policy that Family Dollar has.

Family Dollar coupons

I use the Family Dollar app for their coupons but BUYER BEWARE... example: you have a $2 coupon for Gain detergent, a separate $2 coupon for Gain fabric softeners (liquid or sheets) .. you can only use one of the coupons. I understand that if a customer is trying to by 2/3 detergents with one coupon that is not allowed but 1 different coupon for 1 completely different item, say fabric softener, not to be allowed to use the store coupon that has been offered by the store is ridiculous! So, basically I would need to make several separate purchases just to use the offered coupons! Also, a lot of the coupons do not work! When you bring it to their attention they just shrug their shoulders! Even when you show them the coupon they just say oh well, we can't do anything about it! I was not allowed to use a total of $7 in coupons today. The $2 gain fabric softener, $2 Downey unstoppables, $2 on the cat treats and $1 on All washing detergent. Please know I only bought one of each item. I only shop here because of the savings with the store coupons. This has happened many times in the past but today I have had enough! I always have the coupons pulled up when making my choices so that I get exactly what is required to use the coupon. Also, many times there will be a price tag in the store for a product using the coupon but there will not be a coupon for that item offered in the app. All of it seems fishy, like a bait and switch scam just to get you in the store. If I'm not getting the savings offered I will just take my money elsewhere. Won't matter if I have to pay the regular price anyway!

Family Dollar I want to complain about a rude employee name barbara

She says she's the manager. I think you should hire a new manager for this store. She has been nothing but rude and mean to me every time I come in. I am a daily customer of this store and I'm not happy at the way she speaks to me and other customers. If you don't replace her then I'm gonna have reconsidered being a family dollar customer and take my money elsewhere. I'll also let everyone know about her behavior on dolan chatter box as well!

Family Dollar store service

Store#10381 location 19340 W. Warren Are, 313-982-0219. I am a regular customer and I have had enough. I am as the Precinct Delegate and Community Advisory Counsel. I went to go purchase a few item's, only to discover that there where no shopping carts for use, any where in the store. Unopened Product boxes were everywhere. I spoke with the assistant manager and she said that they have only had five since January, which I find it hard to believe. I am a regular shopper ! What is going on? We love the store we need the store, but come on! It is a mess. The staff are Great! But the managers are always inexperienced. Can't keep stock. We need some corporate over sight now! Or we will be taking it your community counsel, to the City Council! Thanks for letting me speak on this issue.

Family Dollar customer service/cashier

I walked in to buy a clear plastic tote, i grabbed other items and put them inside the tote for easier carrying, as i go to pay for the items the cashier informed me i cant do that and said i need to bring tote up front first and get a cart for the items, and proceeds to tell me i looked like i was stealing from her, well first off if this is store policy, then your stores should post signs, second i work hard for my money and im no thief, it was embarrasing cuz she scolded me with a line of customers standing behind me, made me out to look like a thief, this is very rude and poor customer service, will not being going back to this location, 2:15 pm--7/20/2019

Family Dollar zachary (cashier)

I shop at the pellston family dollar store quite often. The last few times, Zachary was working and failed to greet me as I walked in, he just stood there and stared at me and didn't say anything (this had happened on more than one occurance). Even while I was checking out he did not say one word to me. Not even a "have a good day". He definitely needs to work on his cashier friendliness.

Family Dollar cleanliness, stock arrangements, lack of help.

The store located on S. Dixie Hwy. in Monroe, MI is in need of good management...the store is FILTHY. the clothes are hung all together; men's, and childrens' mixed in with womens ...sizes are not in order...all mixed up...merchandise is also all mixed up all over the store (Not in order)... there is only ONE store employee on duty...impossible for that person to stock shelves, clean and be at the cash register at the same time...not to mention that is an unsafe practice for any store...in general this store needs to be closed, cleaned, and put in order...there needs to be at least two employees on duty at one time...maybe even a night crew to clean and stock shelves with one cashier during the day? This store is a disgrace to the Family Dollar chain...get your act together.

Family Dollar sexual harassment

i'm very curious to how my this coworker is still worker at our store. he is registered as a sex offender in our home town. MANY CHILDREN come into our store on a daily basis. he gets way to close into all the young girls personal space at work. he told one of the our younger employee "you don't. now what i'd do to your body." how is it okay to the risk our workers for a pedophile. he always talks about how he LOVES when one of our coworkers sister comes into the store because "she has a beautifying body to admire." she's only 15 years old. so again i ask. why is he still working as an asstisant manager at #2145 store in alice texas. workers name is Oscar Garcia Jr. when you have the chance search him up on our registered sex offenders weber in alice. i'm sure you'll find the creep and then wonder how is he still at the store as well.

Family Dollar charged incorrect amount for a product & lack of decent customer service

Almost every time I visit Store #08385 in College Park, GA 30349, the pricing of items don't match the tag pricing. For instance, I recently went in to purchase some batteries, among other things. All 3 packs of batteries rung up more than what the display said was the cost. 2 packs of C batteries were suppose to be $3.25 but rung up as $3.35. 1 pack of 4 AA batteries were suppose to be $1.25 but rung up as $2.35. I have complained about this & all I was told was that the labels had not been changed yet. That's their excuse every time. I think they are nickel & diming us to death with no reasonable excuse. Can something be done about this?

Family Dollar return

I recently visited your Porter, Texas location on July 17, 2019 at 5:22 p.m. to make an exchange on some diapers that my husband had bought. He had purchased the wrong ones. I was then told by the manager on duty that I would not be able to exchange for a different brand, given I did not have a receipt with me. He then that he could not exchange the product due to the fact that he would be going against cooperate if he exhanged the product and did not want to get in trouble or have to explain why he did it. I was highly upset at the fact that I couldn't exchange what was recently purchased. Therefore I had to purchase once again more diapers, that was not in budget to buy, but needed.

Family Dollar manager

So, I was at Family Dollar the manager Wendy was ringing me up and I bought 5.00 washing powders and gave her 20.00. She is looking in my wallet on the counter and said do you have anything smaller and I said yea but I need change for the laundromat and she said everybody is giving her 20s and I need to go to the atm to get change which, makes no sense cause the atm gives 20s and I was purchasing an item which was 5 dollars. She said something about putting a sign up. Take small bills. Also, the woman behind me was seeing how rude she was to me and Wendy told her oh she comes in here regularly so it's ok if she talks to me that way. I left a couple days later I went In there again cause I always liked Family Dollar until her rudeness. When I went to the register again all I had was a 20 cause I got them from the bank atm. I bought what I needed and she again says to be 20s what's up with these 20s. Now I am giving her a 20 to purchase my items so why is she so rude to just me. That's twice. It's not a 100 it's a 20. Now a few months back, she overcharged me for an item 50 cents. I have 6 kids every penny counts to me. Well instead, she said it's lot of paperwork for me to do over 50 over 50 cents so she reached in her purse and gave me the 50 cents. Thats when sbe started being so rude to me. After that I went to a job interview with her but she didn't like me so I didn't get the job. I did get a job at dollar General but they only worked me 5 hours a week so I am looking for something better. Thanks I just wanted you to know how rude she is to me...

Family Dollar the store is a mess

The pictures on internet are NOTHING like it is inside... I go quite often to this store and EVERY time it is a mess boxes fill the aisles, it is completely unorganized, no one of the employees greets you to say hi or can I help you look... the aisles are so cramped with boxes sometimes you cant even get a buggy down the aisle...I'm sure if you did a surprise visit you will see how it is but then again it's like this every time I have shopped here...if this problem not fixed then I will need to find a different store to shop at

Family Dollar rude cashier & store manager!! beyond ignorant..

I use to live in the area that this store is located in for a while, in all the years that I lived in the area, and of all the times I've been in this store, I have never experienced the level of ignorance that I experienced yesterday.

I stopped into your establishment in a hurry sometime between 3-4:30pm yesterday (07/16) to purchase some sweat pants for my father who is ill and was waiting on me. FYI, I've stopped going into Family Dollar stores recently because the service and/or the store is just terrible, however, your store was the only place around there that sold clothing items & I was in a rush. I proceeded to the check out area, the cashier looked right at me, and continued to stock the shelve right by the register for a while. When she was finished taking her time stocking, she just pointed at the register, no words. I was already standing at the register to be rung out so I don't even understand why she did that. She then snatched the pair of pants & shorts I had sitting at the counter & proceeded to ring me out. She then said, "You're going to get a whooping", I said "Excuse me?", she repeated it again and then stated "you brought me something with no tag on it!" w/ an attitude. I was appalled at her statements, as if its my job that the store is sloppy or my fault that the item has no tag on it, and the fact that she felt the need to disrespectfully talk to a customer in such manner. The store, by the way, is trashed w/ items thrown/scattered everywhere, tags all on the floor and is just dirty throughout!
She then called the store manager over to ask her how she should resolve this. The store manager tells her to use the sku, the cashier did not even know what that meant. How do you work in a store and just not know what a sku is?!?! This cashier was not new! Then they flipped the pants around for several minutes as if the tag was just miraculously going to appear on it INSTEAD of grabbing another similar item in a different color OR instead of grabbing the sku # off the shelve to ring me out. The store manager then proceeds to tell me, "..was there another pair?" AFTER she heard me tell the cashier that those were the last gray pants, so I stated it again "these are the last gray pair but there are black ones left", she then tells ME "..then go get it!".
Wouldn't your employees know the store better than a customer? Isn't it within the cashier and/or STORE MANAGER'S job description to assist the customer in a reasonable manner?
Now I've been a cashier, store manager & even a district manager for years within the retail industry and I have never seen/had such a rude, ignorant and just undeniably lazy service before. This location, by far, has drastically deteriorated in condition & customer service throughout the years.
This is why I will never return to one of your stores again, I've just had enough! Every Family Dollar store I've been to within the Garfield/Bedford/Parma areas are trashed/sloppy, dirty and have rude/disrespectful employees. Judging by the complaint board you guys got going here, safe to say your standards for hiring employees across the board needs to be reexamined & raised. Although you may not loose sleep because 1 person says they won't go into your stores, however, its the principle of the matter and its clearly evident that your corporation has no standards and without standards, your company won't have longevity.

Family Dollar app coupons... very rude associate as well

I care for a friend who has cerebral palsy. His daily activity that he most enjoys is taking his motorized wheelchair to your establishment. I downloaded the app for him and clipped the coupons. This May seem petty, however, it's the principle. He wanted to grill out so we clipped the matchlight charcoal coupon that was $2.00 off any (one) size. Well i checked his receipt when he got home and it wasn't on there. I took pictures as i called corporate after i spoke with the new associate Don. He is very rude..doesn't greet guests...and sings every sing that plays yet doesn't even ask how customer is or says anything as you are getting rung up. I have been waited on several times by him. Anyway, i degress, i called store and asked why that coupon wasn't honored and he got very rude. Tried telling me what he thought problem was. I asked if he had app and no he didn't so he didn't know what he was talking about firstly, then i read him coupon description and he continued to be rude. Its difficult to explain to a confrontational person when you know what you're talking about. The long and the short of it is the coupon didn't give a weight or size restriction, it only stated save $2.00 on any one of the product. He should definitely not be in customer service with his attitude and off puttish demeanor. If you can sing every word of any song while waiting on customers...you should be able to be respectful and kind and greet us. Definitely not be argumentative and rude. I also have pics of receipt and coupon. The corporate receptionist however, friday the 12th of July at 4:45 pm eastern time that i spoke with was the most kindest, respectful, nicest lady ive ever spoken with. She couldn't give me her name but she was amazing at her Job and i was very appreciative.

Family Dollar refused service!!

I walk into the store, two workers were standing at the register, one of the young ladies (jeaneal) started I have to leave my purse at the register, I asked her my personal purse, she said yes, I proceeded to shop, she replies WE will not check you out for your items if you don't leave your bag at the register! I asked her was she refusing to service me! She replied yes if you don't leave your bag! I told her this is my purse, not a bag! She replied the sign on the door states leave all big bags and purses at the register! I told her I will not leave my personal purse at the register, I can see if I had a backpack or a Duffel bag, I have a cross purse, I came into this store on yesterday with this same purse, shopped with no problems! Now today it's a problem! She started she's only doing what her manager told her to do! I have worked in retail for 17 years in three different states, I have never been treated in such a manner! I was refused service because of my purse! This is discrimination! no one should be refused service because of their personal belongings! This issue needs to be resolved! I was overcharged a few nights ago I'm a couple things I came into the store today and I spoke with a woman named Mandy to show her the mistake on my receipt and all she told me was that it was already done and there's nothing that she can do about it I was overcharged about $9 if I can please get a return phone call I would really appreciate it my phone number is [protected]

Family Dollar items in wrong spot and overcharging of items as well as rude customer service

This store is a complete mess! Shelves are empty and aisles are full of boxes that need to be put away. Items are put away in the wrong spot and them you are charges incorrectly for items. When you bring it to the employees attention all they say is it's in the wrong spot but I didn't do it . They don't refund the difference they just say it's in the wrong spot . I will not ever return to this store. It's a shame this store has gone down hill so bad! I

Family Dollar employee stealing my purchased items

On July 10, 2019, I had another theft from my grocery bag from the employee on duty b/tw 3:00 PM & 4:00 PM. She is petite with gray hair. I feel as if I am a Target for her theft. The week before, I had my uncle watch her closely; no theft. Yesterday, I forgot to check my bags. So, she stole my TastyKake doughnuts by not giving me that shopping bag. This is her 2nd theft from me. One month ago, she stole my Hershey's Chocolate syrup. Please stop her theft! Thanks.

The shopping bag carousel at the Front cash register of this Madison, GA Family Dollar store is at the far side. If you're petite in height, you cannot see over it. My advice to all customers is that besides asking, "Is that everything?", double check your shopping bags before leaving the parking lot of this store, and at any store (even when using U-scan to purchase items by yourself). For, it is rather difficult for cashiers to miss large-sized purchased items remaining in the shopping bag carousel.
