On 16 May 2022, During My visit to my local family Dollar, I selected two items from the shelf for purchase. The first item was AMERICAN XT POWER STEERING FLUID 32FO ([protected]). The price marked on the shelf for this product was $5.00. When I got to the register, the Power Steering Fluid rung up as $7.00. This is a two-dollar difference from the listed price on the shelf.
The next item I select from the shelf was KIT KAT KING SIZE 3 OZ ([protected]). The price marked on the shelf for this product was $1.75. When I got to the register, the Kit Kat rung up at a different price of $1.85. This is $.10 different then the price on shelf.
This is not the first time this has happened to me in at this family dollar store. This same situation has happened several times during previous visits to this same store. Each time I bring this issue up to the attention of the cashier at the store, nothing is done.
I feel this is false and deceptive advertising and not sure whether I will shop at this location again.
