They hire some sick people. This organization is run by the KKK. The clerks falsely accuse people of stealing just for entering the store. Avoid them at all costs.

Family Dollar Small heater

I bought an item and the product was defective, and it didn't work. I tried to return it for money back or an exchange
The store manager tell me that I couldn't do either because it was a seasonal item. So I'm very disgusted because I have paid fot something that doesn't work and I'm stuck with something I can't use. This is so unfair. How would you feel if you brought something that didn't work and you not only lost your but you also have something that's a piece of junk. I very very angry.

Desired outcome: I would like my money back or at least an exchange.

Family Dollar Pricing

I am an unusual person, I save all of my receipts so at the end of the year I can total up the sales tax I spent for an added deduction. I live in a rural area and shop at Family Dollar because it is convenient, the closest Wall- mart or grocery store is 75 miles away. I was recently made aware of an error when I was checking out. I complained and in an attempt to correct the overcharge, I was actually charged twice for a product when it was all said and done and a credit was put back onto my card.
I have pulled out all of my receipts for the year and spent a lot of time going through my Family Dollar receipts and discovered that Family Dollar practices overcharging customers! For example Fritos (a product I purchase frequently) is regular shelf price 3.89, when on sale they are 2 for $6.00. However in going through my receipts I discovered that it doesn't matter if you purchase them on sale or at regular price, they scan at $4.00 per bag. Another product I purchase frequently is the 6-pack of Pedigree canned dog food ([protected] 13.20z). Shelf price states 7.59 however when you check out the product scans at 9.50. Unfortunately these are not the only products that scan at a higher price than marked or advertised. I have been overcharged over $200.00 this year with your deceptive pricing.
I believe that I will no longer be shopping at Family Dollar and I am sure that the community would like to know what is taking place at the store when they check out.

Family Dollar An item I bought

I bought a prepaid phone and never opened it. I brought it back less than 24 hours later, I never opened it and had my receipt and they won't take it back and refund me my money. The employees were very rude and said they would go an ask the store manager but the store manager never appeared. I specifically asked before I purchased this item if it could be returned if I didn't need it and I was told I could.

Family Dollar Rude manager

Harrisville WV on November 3 2021 at 3:30 ... I'm disabled and asked to use restroom...she said nobody is allowed to use it...you use to be able to use it...all the local family dollars let you use theirs...so I told her fine ill shop somewhere else..I usually spend 100 dollars or more especially before christmas...my daughter went in and heard her tell her co work she was going to get into a fight... I even waved at her when she was looking out at me...so I assume she wants to fight...she is unprofessional acting like that...when I worked we didn't act like that...please do something about this...no wonder people go to the pennsboro WV one and not the harrisville WV one...

Desired outcome: She needs to go to be trained on how to not be rude to people coming to your store ...you lost money because of her!

Family Dollar Store manager

The store manager on duty today October 31st approximately 4pm. Get him out of here. I been shopping in this store for over 10 years and never have I ever witnessed a rude disrespectful store manager like him. He refused to give me his name once I said I'm filing a complaint on him. He didn't have on a name tag. And he was refusing to take peoples orders like he's hurting the customer and he's hurting the store. Making a bad impression on the neighborhood. I been here to long shopping here for to long for thus [censored] to come disturbing the peace. Sorry for my language he needs to go.

Family Dollar store manager

I went into this store I do not normally go into. and was checking out. it asked if I want cash back. remembering I need a little cash I said yes to 10 dollars. the cashier { I later found to be the manager} Name T J on his name tag. really stood behind the counter being hateful at the fact I requested the cash back. told me I should ask first DONT JUST DO IT, I stated there was no sign telling me this or that I could not get cash back he proceeded to embarrass me in front of other customers, telling me I better hope his drawer isn't short, and that I better hope others pay in cash. to make up for me doing this. I was sitting in my truck when leaving trying to process what he just said to me when I was approached and told he was telling customers he told customers I am a pig that thinks I am entitled . well first off no officer should be called a pig. second off I am NOT the police I am a security I just have a job like others. { and for the record would NEVER call anyone a name nor refer to them in such a way. not to mention the rudeness. I called the store to talk to management when he answered and told me he was the manager I was surprised, more reason not to be hateful to your customer.

Family Dollar Store hours

Ppl been waiting for the store for hours. Someone knocked on the door and the lady got mad and wrote a sign that said "closed due to ignorance, good night" at 27 Duquesne Blvd. she had a sign before 5:30pm saying they will re open at 5:30pm. The sign wasnt there and and has been closed since 6:30pm til she got mad and put up that new sign
Ive been waiting outside for over a hour and 30 minutes like a idiot. And many more has been waiting since 6pm

Family Dollar Service Complaint

I know to be true that manager Derrick Ledbetter steals from the Family Dollar Fulton location. When he does the freezer he puts the items in a black trash bag. He then places the trash bag near the back door. He then drives his white truck that he no longer has to the back of the store and load the trash bags on the back of the truck. He then drives the truck to 4918 Cosby street and provides the food to his family. This trend has happened over four-time during the earlier part of 2021. He also carries a Jordan backpack that he uses to sell weed out of your Family Dollar store. This trend has been going on since 2020. He and his male employee also drink on your clock. If you review the camera he parks right in front of the store doing this activity. If he is an interested female he goes to the register and skips scan stealing from your company. I just want to make Family Dollar aware of the leadership that is placed tarnishing the Family Dollar name and Brand

Family Dollar Rude store clerk

I was returning a $5.40 T-shirt for the second time to the store due to a defect of the shirt. Upon showing the store clerk the stain in the t-shirt, the clerk said that I could wash the stain out, but I told her I did not want to wash a stain from and item I just bought. I mentioned that three times to her, and as she got more visible frustrated, and started heading toward the shirt rack, I informed her (store clerk) that I was not interested in exchanging for another t-shirt, but would like a refund for my purchases. The store clerk snatched the receipt from my hands and rudely gave me some information to fill out. I told the clerk that she should be more considerate of the next customer needing to exchange an item. After returning the dollar amount to my debit card, the store clerk followed my wife and I to the front of the store exit door and watched us as we drove away.

Desired outcome: Better training to respect all people no matter the age or race.

Family Dollar Employees

I have a family member in nearby hospital and have been frequenting this store regularly. I have never been more disturbed with any store ever! The store manager is very pleasant and friendly but when he is not present, the employees ignore you, talk vulgar in front of customers, cussing loudly and they have a noticeable weed smell. On or about september 30th, there was human feces on the floor in front of the checkout counter. That following weekend, on or about october 2/3, there was a man trying to urinate in the corner of the store. Inside the store! I have personally heard other customers complain about the employees and the people lingering in the parking lot. I understand this is a rough area but dollar tree should be investing in the company they bought to help management to clean up this store. On monday, october 4 at approximately 2pm, I left the store and witnessed a drug deal between three men, right outside the front door next to the ice machine. I immediately called the store to let them know. That same visit, I witnessed a man with an gun in the store. He was definitely not law enforcement. I was scared the place was going to be robbed, as there are always people loitering in the lot, whether homeless, drunk or drug induced. Another time, there was a man trying to enter the store in his underwear and a woman loudly, repeatedly, that she was drunk on chicken. Apparently, there is a local hotel for vagrants and drug addicts nearby. There needs to be some type of security, law enforcement on premises. Either way, I plan to call the local news station if something is not done immediately. I have called family dollar, emailed, left several messages and have never received a return call regarding my concerns. So i'm hoping that since dollar tree owns family dollar, someone will care enough to do something about this disaster waiting to happen. My next step will to be start recording these incidences and posting them. Maybe that will get someone important attention. This store did not become like this overnight and repeated complaints are going unaddressed.

Family Dollar The manager Anita

Very disrespectful to the Latino American and allowing employees to steal and smoke weed and steal. A former employee said she fired her because she wouldn't steal. This female has terrible people skills and I reported this to the United States Indigent Defense council in Washington DC. The Latino American will boycott this store in Antioch Tennessee so what happened to me and my children will never happen again.

Family Dollar Family Wellness Sheer Adhesive Pad

Had surgery two days ago. Purchased 2 boxes of Sheer Adhesive pads (10 count) (Family Wellness), to cover the surgery site and Laproscopic incisions. After I had removed the old bandages, opened a box of the pads I had purchased this evening. Noticed that there were only a total of 8 in the package which had obviously been opened and re-sealed with clear tape. Looked at the 2nd box and it was intact with no sign of having been opened. This, to me is a huge issue! Had I realized the box had been opened and 2 pads removed I definitely would not have utilized them! Missing 2 pads is no big deal, opened and re-sealed is!

In today's world it scares and worries me that such a issue such as this occurred. I would very much like to know "Family Dollars" policy on returned items, especially sterile medical supplies, and how they can be re-shelved for a customer to purchase.
