Family Dollar Exchange program

It happen Feb.6, 2023. I went to exchange a propane bottle that was leaking around the valve where you open it. I had the receipt and the management told me that I could not return it. She made me feel like I was lying. We live a good way from this Family Dollar and we just stop by to get a few items and a propane exchange on our return trip from buying groceries Saturday evening.

The management thinks that we taper with the bottle. All the my son did was try and hook it up and told me and my husband that it was leaking around the valve. The lady today would not take it back and we are out 23.99. We are on a fix income and that money means a lot to us. We can't afford to lose it, I will not be going back to that store if this is not corrected and I will tell my friends and family about that store. The store is [protected]

Desired outcome: I would like my money back or to exchange my propane bottle.

I get out of my vehicle with my cane, because I can just about walk that good or much anymore. And I have my dog with me, American Pitbull Terrier. His name is Rusty, very, very friendly and well behaved. And he is on his leaseh. So As we are walking to get into the store from the parking lot. Rusty walks by my side. then he will walk a bit ahead of me as doing so. He will contantly stop and turn his head to make sure I am ok, Or as he is walking with me, him ahead od me a few steps, he will turn his head to amke sure I am still there, or did not fall. So we walk into the store. Thecashier says you can't bring him in here, and the yells to Mary Liepe, the manager of store1905. She says to me youcan't bring that dog in here. the asks is he a servicedog, befoe I could asnswer her, she ask, cocky, where's his vest. I told her we didn't recieve it yet. Oh he has to leave, that dog can not be in here there is food in here, don't you have any common sence. ok there's comment that bellittled me and embarrased me. He can't be in here no oets blah blah blah. So I asked where are the signs that should be in the front windows of the store, or on the dooors as you come in the store. Oh we took themdown, oh so you took the signs down that stated all that you just said, not pets, only service animals. oh it's store policy she says. I said to here well let me see that policy. It has to be in writing somewhere'. Nope. So She said what do you need, I'll get it. I said to her no thank you. And walked out the front door. And as I walked out the door I stopped and took my cell phone out which has a excellent camera in it.

Family Dollar False accusations and false termination

There was a false accusation due to an employee has said that I have threatened her with a firearm which that was not the case I do have evidence in my phone that says that she brought up the whole gun situation and that I told her that a gun I don't have nothing to do with it. Family Dollar Product febreze air/kitchen odorliminator. Bar code:[protected] bottom of bottom of plastic spray bottle : p2000-2-11 8.8oz (250g)

On January 30 I stop at the family dollar in Dayton KY on 6th ave and purchased six cans of lemon febrile air. And none of them would spray like they had no pressure in the can.

So I took them right back to the store and explained to the young lady the problem and told her she didn't put the receipt in the bag and I would like to have my money back or replace the product and she said to me that she is the only one working that everyone has quit their job and she can't leave the cash register and told me to go to the back door and find another box of freeze and I did so it was below freezing in that room products scattered all over the place the box of product had been mishandled the top of the spray containers broken off. So I returned and ask for my money she said she didn't know how to do it and I ask for the manger and she said I am the manger if I didn't want the freeze find something else and I said no thanks and left the store I was upset and one bottle in my hand and left the other five in the store so I turned around went back for the other five bottles and now there is her boyfriend that got nasty with me and she said that she had thrown the five bottles of febrile in the garbage because they would not spray so no return on my money and I tried some of the other bottles and they did the same thing so I choose not to take them I thought she would just return my money and she decided reason for that she had not been trained to do so and her being a manger I would say my personal option she wasn't paying attention because her people skills were below standard being a manger. I also felt as if her boyfriend was a threat to me so I left the store and that store was a mess of of of product laying everywhere that needed to put away and the stock area was freezing with the back door 1/4 of the way up letting all the cold air in the store stock. I will never go into that store ever again and the P&G product I purchased was damaged at the store from what I could see not saying they did damage the product but from the looks of things that family dollar needs a manager and I would like my six bottles of freeze replaced please at 4 dollars a that's not cheap and it was 7:30 pm on 01/30/2023 I still have just the one bottle of freeze and if I were proton & gamble I would find a different vendor to sale my product family dollar giving the company a bad name and not standing by proton and gambles policies. Thank you for your time. I also so feel as if proton and gamble should comp me something for my time having to do all of this I rather be doing something else but this needs to be addressed asap and I will file a complaint with corporate my info. 926 6th ave Dayton KY [protected] please feel free to contact me and that is my mailing address feel free to have my product ship to me for I have already wasted my time and my gas dealing with this issues over the cans of your product because honestly I can't say the family dollar damaged the product but I can say from the looks of the store all the products in the store was being mishandled. Family Dollar Kick out the store for no reason

On January 27,2023 at approximately 7:00pm I went to The Family Dollar located at 1841 Almonaster New Orleans, La to buy some items for my home after a long day at work as I had gathered the items to purchase and proceeded to the register to pay for the items.

I was told by the associate on duty that I have to leave the store and no reason was given on why I had to leave.

I left the store without incident, and she asked an unknown female who was not an employee to lock the door as I left.

Upon leaving I went to a neighborhood store and seeing that had reopen the doors and letting people in

Family Dollar Service/management

At approximately 10:30 on January 27, 2023 I arrived at the store on main street in Radford, Virginia. I was looking for some incontinent pads. I noticed that there were some poise night pads that were marked 14.50 with a sign below it stating 2 for 10. I grabbed two and proceeded to continue with the rest of my shopping. When I got to the register, they did not ring for $10. The girl at the register did not know what to do, so she texted her manager and asked her. The girl proceeded to tell me that they don't do that anymore. I asked to speak to the manager and also asked if the girl could suspend my order so she could take care of other customers, they were in line. After taking care of the customers, the girl proceeded to go get the manager. There were no other customers in line at this point. When the manager arrived, she asked to see the tag, so the girl and the manager went to that area and the manager grabbed the tag. When the manager got back to the register she stated that the store had already been flagged and gotten into trouble for taking such discounts and told me she wouldn't do it and proceeded to ask me if I still wanted them and I stated that I would for the 2 for $10 like advertised. She also stated that all signs were digital so I entered a phone number and it rang up $3 off. I asked for corporates phone number. The manager gave me the number and said that she was not going to sit there and argue with me or hold up the line, I looked beside me and there were no other customers and stated to her that I would move if customers showed up. She proceeded to tell me that if I did not like what she was saying, I could leave or she could call the cops on me to have me removed. I asked her if she was really going to call the cops on me for asking a question and she said yes, I'm not going to argue with you. I was calm the whole time and never raised my voice at her. She had an attitude the whole time because she was in a meeting in the back. I'm not a horrible person but she made me feel like one. I have a medical condition that requires me to have this type of pad. I'm always looking for sales. I gave all my groceries and stuff back and was leaving the store when I asked the associate to give me the manager's name because she had a customer and she refused to give it to me. At one point during my conversation with the manager I had asked her for the district manager's name and phone number and she stated that she was not going to give it to me. It's a wonder why I even try to shop at family dollar given this situation. I have a picture on my phone of the tag on the shelf, but cannot get it to my computer. I can email it from my phone if needed.

Desired outcome: I'd appreciate an apology for the way in which the manager treated me. I have worked in retail before and any good manager would work with the customer over a simple oversight on their part.

Family Dollar Homeline alkaline battery 9v (see attachments)

On Wednesday, January 25, 2023 I purchased a 9V battery at Store #[protected] E. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth, TX. [protected]. (See attachment) The store clerk was very friendly and welcoming. When I returned home, and tried to use the battery it was dead. Not working at all. I decided to return the battery the next day, Thursday [protected]) to a different store that was closer to my house. The Family Dollar store was located at 4951 E. Berry St., Fort Worth, TX. 76105. I spoke to the manager named Ax, a female short hispanic lady. She stated that she could not issue me a refund because I did not purchase the item from that particular store and would have to return it to the original store. (She lied) She also stated that she was the only one there and could not accommodate my return. I was extremely disappointed with her conduct and demeanor. As a loyal customer of Family Dollar, I have always received excellent customer service. This manager was very unprofessional and rude. All I wanted was a simple return of $4.33 or store credit. Was that too much to ask for? I really hope that this issue will be addressed so that the next person will not feel the angst that I felt.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund or store credit with no strings attached.
