Family Dollar review: An employee

On 09/10/2022 around or a little after 2pm I went to store number #01535 on 1425 east cook Street. When I arrived the store was closed. There were two employees outside the store by the dumpsters smoking. I asked why is the store closed? They replied we are on break and proceeded to continue to smoke. I did smell marijuana but they insisted it was cigarettes. So I said why in the hell is two people on break at the same time someone should be ringing there are customers waiting outside the door including myself. After a few more minutes of waiting the door was opened and customers proceeded to enter all except me. The employee put her hand out which touched me in a aggressive manner and she said you are banned for being loud on the premises. I proceeded to make my way in anyway and the employee tussled with me until she shut the door in my face. I was furious. I cursed and cursed I said this is outrageous. Another customer saw this take place he asked if he can go in for me because the employee did not let me in he purchased my items as I stood outside the door the employee harassed me wanting me to get more upset. I asked her to leave me alone she refused and kept on speaking saying Im the manager and you need to leave now. She was upset that I called her out for closing the doors for a smoke break. This is not the first or last time this has happened. This stores closes when it likes the employees bring their children to work with them and they be behind the registers. Ive seen the cashiers leave and lock the because they have to pick up children or because they can't stay at work. They have their friends selling weed in the parking lot and converse with them when they get a free minute or two outside. They smoke weed on their breaks and Ill say it again close the store when they want. I now have to drive to store#09005 on south Grand in Springfield IL the employees there told me the associate name is Amanda and is the Boss daughter. This not the first time she tried to ban me from the store she did this before because someone overridden a return she proceeded to hand me my money back and then claimed I was banned. This is the worst Family Dollar store I've seen Im pretty sure any Guest would agree especially the elders. Im not sure what type of investigation will be done but someone please look into this and PLEASE hire some wonderful customer service representative that really want to work and will not show up with the whole family or pajamas on. They are very rude here. Not every associate. I will not shop this family Dollare store again and I live directly across the street from here. I will travel to another store which is a shame. Do You care about this neighborhood store. I do. Please investigate do something PLEASE.
