I purchased Generali Travel Protection Insurance on 10/12/23 through Expedia.com Policy G-AFD100722D. It was to apply to flights not taken. Expedia does not allow you to see which airline they place you on until after your purchase is completed. At that time, I was not allowed to ride Alaska Airlines. Of course Expedia had assigned my flight to Alaska Airlines.

I immediately contacted Alaska Airlines and Generali upon seeing that I was placed on this airline that I was not allowed to ride

As I checked, the ticket is booked on one of our low-priced fares. Those fares are priced very competitively, but also have more restrictions, such as not allowing changes or cancellations. The ticket is non refundable

Only at that time because of a disagreement with an agent. And I needed to get home. I am certainly allowed NOW to ride Alaska Airlines, But that was after 2 months of complaining.

This is like a Deceptive Trade Practice because Expedia does not allow the consumer to see which airline has been chosen until after booking.
