Dollar General horrible service from cashier female

I went to buy with my mom who dosent speak english so i ordered a 15 dollar gift card and I repeated one five, she put 50 than i said oh no i said 15 so she got mad and took the card ot of my hand aggressively and got so mad at us giving us bad attitude and looks so i wouldnt recomment having that female working there who she didnt ecen had a name tag to begin with

Dollar General job application discrimination

I have been trying to work for dollar general again for a year or more and I have been told today that my application came back not rehire able I feel that I was given this because I was fired for going to a funeral and my cousin and sister can vouch for me. I will take this to the first us army national guard post and let them know they also don't want to work with the national guard because I was given trouble for going to drills. I used to work at the store in Crawford GA .

Dollar General customer service

Went to the Dollar General in South Coffeyville, Ok. Seen some items on a perfectly stocked shelf right in the back room. Where two doors perfectly open to enter. While I was looking at things that were, what I thought, a sale place. An employee by the name of Donna came up to me, yelling about how we weren't suppose to be back there. I was shocked that she would talk to her customers like that when it clearly was a mistake. I spend money in there quite frequently but I will never go back due to the lack of service and down grading I received from this woman. It was quite offensive and hurtful. Quite frankly I don't know how she is okay talking to people like that in general letting alone at work.

Dollar General customer service

I went in to buy hotdogs and a pack of cigarettes. Gave her a $20 bill and asked if i can have two $5 bills for my change she stated she did not have two $5 bills to GIVE AWAY! Clearly i didn't want her to give them AWAY to me it's my change how would she be giving my change to me away? Then i asked her if she could spare one $5 bill and the rest in ones. She rolled her eyes and chunked the change. Clearly she's not happy with her job in customer service and it was very unpleasant for me. She was a short fat Mexican girl. I was there around 01:15pm today.

To you customers that keep complaining. You better not do it at my store. I had an issue with a customer. I the LP that they were stealing. I had to place batteries in their bag myself to make them look guilty. The best part of all of this was I got a gift card for catching the thief.

If its the weekend we cant just give you what you want bc the bank is closed till Monday. And we dont have enough money in our change account. We keep very little for ourselves. Just like our store customers think were the freaking bank and constantly asking for rolls of quarters. And i dont see what her appearence has anything to do with you not getting your way. Next time get the persons name.

Dollar General the manager rhonda mcadams

There was floor box & osculating fans on the floor displayed for sale. I took pictures of the prices. They was all marked $1. & $2. (Something) I had 4 & was told by Rhonda they was priced wrong. Which was not my fault. I feel I should of had an appalogy by the mngr Rhonda & been sold the fans for the price they was marked. She raised her voice to the employee that priced the products telling her "Yes, Sommmeone priced them WRONG!" & That was it. I stood there looking like a fool while a customer behind me told me it wasn't my fault. Jody Lowther 3047 Orchard St Weirton Wv. She didn't even offer to put them back. After a long silence I said well I guess I'll just put these back. Nothing was said not a thank you or no I'll do that. She just rang my merchandise with a ticked off look on her face with the employee that priced it wrong stood there. She didn't ask that employee to pull the fans or please correct that. I feel I should of got the fans for the price they was marked. I had 2 of each. I shop there almost everyday. I've got to know a few employees. I can always tell when this Rhonda is working the store is a mess! She had the ONLY cashier clean up a broken pickle jar mess while a line formed. Rhonda did not wait on customers. We all had to wait in line for the cashier to clean up & then come & ring us out. While I watched Rhonda in a little room behind the counter. I was sure to ask her name when she reprimanded the New Employee in front everyone this time with the fan pricing. That should of been done in private. The items sold for the price it was marked & the items pulled immediately off of the floor. I've worked retail with rite aid for yrs. & this lady has surely caught my attention. She definitely needs customer service & correction of employee training to not do that in front of customers. I'm not 1 to complain & for me to be bothered makes me wonder how many more life long daily customers that may go elsewhere because of this management...? I took pictures when I carried back my own fans so customers behind me didn't have to manuvee around.

There's 2 numbers on the tag. 1 and 7. Does it make more sense for the fans to be $17 or $1.70? Use some common sense.

Dollar General accessibility

Visited the Dollar General located on Montvale Rd in Maryville TN on August 18. I couldn't get down many of the aisles to shop. Apparently they had gotten a truck on Friday and had the aisles blocked with u-boats of freight. There was at least 5 or six blocking the aisle of toliet paper and paper towels. Almost every aisle that I needed to go down had a u-boat of freight. This was not the first time that this has happened but this was the most inconvenient time. Normally they have a few out at the end of the aisles and totes of freight at the register. Out of all the Dollar Generals that I go to this one seems to be the worst to get through because of freight. The only reason I go to this one most is because I live 5 minutes from there. But on the 18th I put my items back and left without buying anything. I drove farther away from my house to go to another Dollar General just to buy the stuff that I had in my buggy at the first store. I had no trouble at the other Dollar General getting around their store.

Dollar General employee, jessica perez

I was in the store tis morning at 845 am looking for Excedrin. Jessica and I have bad blood but I don't speak to her and haven't in a couple years. She aquired a job there and says rude things about me loudly in front of her fellow employees and customers. Today she was calling me a [censored]ing griney [censored], and a dirty [censored], along with some other things. Talking the whole time I was in the there shopping Loudly... Please listen to the audio. The camera was right above her head. This is very uncalled for. Sunday August 19th. Between 840 and 850.

I feel ya, Jessica Perez. Luckily I live near several Dollar Stores so when I decide I no longer wish to encounter a certain individual I just go to a different store.

Also another thing you could do is try to get a general idea of the bad employees schedule and just visit the store when they're not working.

Dollar General what a mess!!!

This store is ALWAYS a mess! You can NEVER get down the isles! I'm disabled and have a hard enough time getting around, let alone having to go through a maze of boxes and unstocked items just to get down the isle! They usually have 2 maybe 3 people there but no one is emptying the boxes and stocking the shelves so the isles will be clear! There's usually 1 person checking with a long line of people waiting to check out and all the rest of the employees are sitting on their butt in the office doing nothing!

I have a wonderful idea! How about hiring a trustworthy person to come in, in the evenings to do NOTHING BUT STOCKING?! That way the isles will be clear and the store will look cleaner and more presentable! You might actually have more customers!

We rely very much on our poor little dollar store because the 1 grocery store we have, is so terribly expensive. We can't afford to shop there very much! Especially since my husband has been out of work and can't find any work in this one horse town!

I really do wish they'd get this store more organized and get some people in there that actually want to work and that really care about the store and the customers!

I sincerely hope someone is reading this and listening to what I'm saying, because honestly something has got to happen here before something really terrible happens!

Dollar General broken spray bottle; home window cleaner sprayer

The first time I used this window cleaner the sprayer broke and I'm disappointed because it's brand new and I'm disabled and have a difficult time getting over to Dollar General since I do not have a car there is a number on the sprayer which is 18110 a e - 2 I don't know if that will help any I just wanted to let you know in case other people have the same problem that I do now I just have to put the window cleaner on a rag instead of spraying it on the windows just thought I'd let you guys know

Dollar General crates and boxes and merchandise on the floor

TodayAugust 16, 2018 I was in the Dollar GeneralStore #16582 on county Rd 305 in Bunnell fl. while shopping I had to go thru stacks of crates and boxes to get to the deoderant products. While doing this I did not see a small display rack or CDholder what ever it was lyong in my path and I tripped on it. I did break my fall so I didn't totally hit the floor. The gentleman running the register did lean over and ask if I was okay and I said yes. A few minutes later I noticed I have a cut on my arm and my arm, shoulder and hip were sore. An employee did get me first aid materials to clean the cut which I appreciated.
Now as I try to contact you I am very sore.
Why are there always so many products stacked every where in the stores.? I do not understand why thereare not night stockers to take care of this to avoid injuries. The store did not make an injury report .

Dollar General enrollment papers

Last Saturday I started at Dollar General in Sunman Indiana and worked thru Tuesday I was offered another job so I took it ever since I got my pay card and tried to activate it, I get the recording after I put my numbers in that they haven't received my enrollment paperwork, IAM due to be paid Friday 8/17/18, What do I do to get my money? Since I can't activate my pay card?

Dollar General sliding merchandise

I witnessed an employee at one of your stores in Pineville Kentucky sliding merchandise to a customer the other day. She would scan the products and bag the stuff and after she was done ringing everything up, she would void the transaction and allow the customer to leave without paying for the stuff. The customer must be one of the cashier's best friends and I've been told by others that she does this a lot. Something needs to be done about this.

Dollar General advertised weekly ad

I specifically went to the Dollar General store located in Arlington Minnesota because of the weekly ad I had seen on cases of pop ie; man dew, Pepsi etc for $5.50. when I went there they don't carry cubes(cases) pop only 12 packs and I said well are you still going to honor the same deal which was a case of pop Mountain Dew Pepsi etc if I buy 2 12 packs and they said no we aren't so I wound up buying a 12 pack with tax the costing $5.19 when I went in there to buy a case for $5.50 and I feel this is deceptive advertising, The weekly ad was the right there when you walk in the door showing just advertise special. IDoubt that I will shop there again

Dollar General customer service

My husband and I are new to couponing and decided to try Our first transaction at your 8070 pines Blvd Pembroke Pines fl location. As soon as we entered the store we could tell that one of your employees a coccassion woman with short hair I believe to be the manager was having a bad day. We noticed she was short with the customers and her employee who was an African American young man maybe 19 to early 20's. My husband and I wanted to do the pods deal and found a single arm and hammer pod pack with oxi clean in it but no price on the shelve for it so I took the product to the front and asked the cashier if I could please have a price check. The manager advised (its on the shelf, you need to look. ) I advised her that I had been looking by all the pods and couldn't find it she said (look again it's there). I went back and searched again for a few more minutes and then went back to the cashier, the cashier kindly smiled and said I could have helped you as soon as I was done. The cashier tried to check the price but the item was discontinued so there was no price for it. I had spent about ten minutes looking for something in the shelve that wasn't even listed. After my husband and I gathered our items for the gain digital coupon deal we went to check out. All of our digital coupons were saved to our number. After my husband put in his number it showed our total to be $27.00 apparently there was a glitch and the digitals were not being pulled with his number so my husband advised the cashier that we would not be taking the products. The cashier laughed and said (I will have to call the manager to void the transaction and she is going to be mad. ) He then called the manager and requested a void. The manager immediately yelled out )I ain't doing no void! ) she looked at the total, looked at my husband and I and said what's the problem. My husband tried to explain the digital coupons were not working . The manager then said ( cause you used them already before, that's why) my husband explained that we did not use the coupons and even showed her the app on his phone showing we had the coupons. The manager then demanded he put in his number again. While my husband put in his number she looked at the cashier shaking her head mumbling something to him. The coupons still did not come off but we had all the correct products. (The managers reply to him was ( so what are you taking them or not?) my husband kindly advised no ma'am we will not be taking them. She slammed around her keys started to void the transaction, looked over at the cashier and said (I'm about to lose my job!) as if she was going to lose her patience and do something to us? I asked her what she meant by that as that was pretty much a threat. I told her she had no right to treat us like that. I also advised to her that there were many people who would love to have her position and would treat customers right. She advised to me she has been with the company for 15 years and knows what she is doing. I ended up leaving the store with my husband with disbelief on how bad we were treated. My husband and I spend money often in your stores without coupons so we are repeat customers. I have family and friends who shop here. The way we were treated is not ok. I pray this issue will be addressed with this store. The cashier was very nice to us. It was the manager who was very rude from the moment my husband and I enetered the store.

Dollar General employee

The Employee that was working evening of 8/16/2018 has a serious issue .. I have been watching her stay on her phone never worrying about stocking or what is going on in the store .. acts made if she has to get off the phone to check you out and never says Thank You. She told me tonight she was assistant manager.. after she got rude with me I ask who the manger was she told me then continued mouthing off .. customers were coming in the door I believe she told them something about me the teen age boy came back to the door and just stood looking at me... I think she had gotten upset because there were 4 or 5 boys in the back of the store .. they were loud .. I just stopped in to get a root beer .. I left due to their actions. I have never seen her do any work except work her finger on the phone .. this girl is black .. there was a white girl that was new you could tell .. the black girl was rude to her as well..She has no right involving other customers .. causing problems between me and them .. there are all types of people with mental issues .. could have a gun .. I feel she put me in Danger ... if she is assist manager then she should know better than to do this and to have 4 black men in the store being loud ... as well as she should pay attention to the customers as much as she does her phone

Dollar General manager theft store # 5817 rural valley, pa

While shopping at Dollar General in Rural Valley Pennsylvania i noticed the manager, Wanda, checking a person out at the register and putting most of the merchandise in the customers bag without ringing the sale up. Evidently if your a good friend of Wanda she will give you some freebies.It is a shame on what is going on at store #5817 in Rural Valley, Pa.

Dollar General horrible management

I went to the store to get my puppy some food and witnessed a manager push over a stack of juice and then asked a employee to show her how they do the recovery. The employee was about as shocked as I was when I saw it and asked why waste that much merchandize just to see how they did recovery. Its such a shame to see the store my wife worked so hard for and busting her hindend for 3 months be over ran by people like that. She got the store basically robbed from her. Had crappy management training and got basically fired because of poor management training! You guys lost a very dedicated employee that put her heart and soul into making the customers happy. She put in crazy hours I'm talking. 70-80 hours a week. She begged for help in the store but only got told that she needed to step it up and do more. And 2 days after she was gone there was a smart team in the store and has been one there all week?!?! Just proves how the district manager left her out to hang and set her up to fail. Thank you for ruining my wife's career and causing our family to stumble financially.

Dollar General cashier allowed someone to steal a basket of baby stuff.. plug ins... and more

It was around 18:55 and I witness an cashier allow an young lady steal items as she held the lady child. This is very terrible service. Cause why allow one person to steal then arrest the next for stealing. This was at 2280 E South Blvd. Montgomery AL 36116 store number 07267. If cameras work you will see the young lady puching the basket of items out in no bags... Very sad

Dollar General cashier

My boyfriend walked to the dollar general we live near because our vehicle is in the shop and we needed a few things. On his walk it began to rain. So when he arrived he was damp from the walk there but he said he wasn't dripping wet at all. The cashier refused him of getting the things he needed because "she just mopped the floor". Dollar General management

Your management is very bad in Union Hall nothing can the shelf . When it is it can't stay that way. You can't walk around to get to anything with all those boxes in the way. So if things don't change I will go to a different one even if I have to waste the gas I will pretend that one is not there like it was years ago when there was none. You know what the say part is I live so close to this one I can walk to it. Well I guess it's a very sad day and disappointment to this store. Can't even treat employes with respect. What a shame of a company if no change soon will send complaint to BBB and see what happens then.
