Dollar General Restroom always out of order

Every time people ask to use the restroom, the employees say its out of order. So for months this store, 31802 hwy.44 Eustis, Florida. The problem hasnt never got fixed. Something needs to be done here so that the customers has a place to use the restroom. How hard is that to do. One of the employees say to go out back and go between the big barrels. Now that's not very professional. Please resolve this matter... Thank you.

Dollar General Nasty, unorganized, horrible store

this store is a disgrace for name dollar general

filthy
carts of merchandise just pushed in isles,
unable to get to shelves due to carts,
so disorganized,
merchandise thrown on floor
nothing straightened up,

i asked the cashier who was the manager and she gave me a name
i asked her why the store is in this horrible shape, my reply i received:
1. "we are working very short staffed, and the corporate is dragging their feet on hiring people. And believe me we dont like seeing the store in these conditions either. We dont have time to do store and attend to customers also"

2. I asked other local stores are in good order and why cant this one be?
she replied, "those are newer stores" i told her that has nothing to do with new or old stores.

Dollar General discrimination complaint

On 15 Nov 2021 I went to the Dollar General store in Callaway FL ( STORE # 12293) at approximately 3:00PM. I completed my shopping and approached register # 1, I immediately noticed the cashier was the same one who had given me problems at least 3 times previously. I don't know her name, but she is an older looking white woman with a very short, fully white haircut. As she totaled my items, I input my USAA charge card. I then removed my card after it chimed to indicate it had been approved. I then waited for her to complete her action at the register. Just as she had done on at least three other occasions, she asked me to input my card and I told her I already had and the system was processing and waiting on her to press whatever register key she had to. She then became very loud and belligerent and told me I was lying and that I was simply attempting to "steal the groceries, and I wanted her to pay for my items"
The customer in line behind me stepped up to inform her that she had witnessed me input my card, but that didn't change anything as she continued to accuse me of attempting to steal the items. This despite the face that I had given her my ID to check because I was purchasing a bottle of wine. I asked for the manager and once she arrived, I demanded an apology, to which the manager indicated she was not going to talk down to her employee in front of me. At this time, a group of three customers entered the store and began to tell the manager that she was wrong. The manager began to yell at the customers and then told them to leave the store or she would call the police. The manager t5hen turned to me and said she was tossing everyone in the store out. I told her I wasn't leaving while my card info was still incomplete in their system. I continued to demand an apology. Finally, either the manager or the cashier pressed the register key and the receipt printed out. They both looked at me as if I had just completed a magic trick. Once again, I asked for an apology and the manager instructed her employees to do so. She did mumble an almost inaudible "sorry". I then took the receipt and walked out without saying another word. The trio she had thrown out earlier was still in the parking lot and they were fuming and telling me they would testify to what happened if I wanted them to. Because I am a Black male and both manager and cashier are both white women, I felt in was a blatant example of racial discrimination and harassment. After 20 years of honorable military service, It is shameful that I have to feel under siege at Dollar General.

Desired outcome: I want a formal, written aplogy from both the manager and the employee. I am also demanding then either be fully trained or terminated.

I went in with a broken foot to exchange my empty propane tank. Upon checking out I was told that empty propane tanks are not allowed in the store. Thats fine I didnt know, I then asked if i could purchase the propane exchange while i was in the self checkout lane. The Lady then said no i would have to go to the regular isle. No problem. Dollar General Overall clutter-uncleanliness

The Dollar General on Highway 15 North at crossroads of 15n and Foxworth Mill Road by Mozingos looks like a bomb went off in it. It is cluttered, dirty, and merchandise stacked up in boxes and bare shelves. The box racks are so backed up that they wrap around to the front of the building. It is such a clustered mess that it can't be cleaned easily much less moped daily. The store is very busy and is now on Facebook for being a mess. Please organize and clean it up. Thank you.

Dollar General service

I went into dollar general in buffalo ny on kenmore ave 338. the cashier was extremely rude the people in that store are always rude. The manager is also rude. The company needs to hired all new people.

Dollar General Canned goods

Had listed clover valley can products 3/1.00. Green Beans. Whole and Cream Style Corn and Carrots were listed as ones on sale with digital coupon which I did. It only gave me sale price for 3 cans and rest rung up regular price. Why wouldn't all of them been 3/1.00. I was told that they knew other customers had been buying them by the case but did not wait on them so had no idea how they got them all for 3/1.00. Times are hard and as a senior citizen on a fixed income have to stretch my money as much as possible to have food to eat.

Dollar General Cashier

I visited Dollar General on Ronald Regan in Davenport, Florida in the morning shift. A dark skin older woman was running the register. She is always very nasty & rude to me and other customers every time. My yellow & white dot items did not come up 70 off even though there were couple large Orange signs hanging on the racks. Dollar General Store 11292

Hi my name is Hilary Blow, I got a phone call from the District Manager Keta, I had some complaints on the store manager that I work at, store# 11292, I work for Walmart too full time & part time at dollar general, Walmart I work in online delivery pickup where you pick orders for your customer, I explained everything to Keta what problems I had with Carrie the store manager, well Keta just informed me that Carrie shouldn't have hired me bc I work at Walmart, well I just got informed from Keta that she wasn't going to blame Carrie for hiring me bc she's knew that she doesn't know all the policy's yet, that Keta said she was going to print out the policy's for Carrie so she would know, then Keta told me she was going to let HR know what's going on, I told Keta that I shouldn't get fired or let go bc of this situation, Keta said she wasn't going to blame Carrie for hiring me bc I work at Walmart, she said that Carrie has only been an assistant manager not a store manager & she's knew at this & that she's been a store manager for about 4 months at store # 11292, but Keta said that she would email HR & that she would call me back to let me know if I can still work for dollar general while I work for Walmart, this isn't fair to me at all if I have to quit Dollar general, Carrie should've known the store policy's, but Keta said she didn't know & that she's not going to blame Carrie for hiring me. Now why can't Carrie get the blame, that didn't make any sense right there. I'm very very upset with this situation & the way I told Keta how Carrie has been treating me.

Dollar General Truck Driver

The driver of truck #31223 for Dollar General was littering like crazy on 102 between Eagle Lake and Columbus, TX on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 around 2:00 PM. Tons of fast food containers and cups, cans and bottles, and bags flying out of the truck onto these small town roads. If you're going to drive through the lone star state, you're going to do your part to Keep Texas Beautiful and to not pollute our land with your disgusting and disrespectful garbage.

There were no sour cream and onion on my toasted chips, this is my fifth bag never had this happen before it just tastes like plain crackers with no taste very bland without the sour cream seasoning it's like somebody forgot to put the seasoning on the crackers and just put them in a bag I'm very unhappy what's wrong with you or drink something you're just like I wasted my money just to get flavor unflavored chips

Dollar General Store

Store #11519, the store is dirty, can't walk things all over the floor, needs to cleaned up before someone fall something and get hurt, Never seen a store so bad, the girl was just standing there on her phone while the guy wait on all the customers, this was on 10/23/2021 at about 5:30, there where about 5 customers in line at the time, I think someone should check into it.

Dollar General The whole store in general

Well besides our local store closing everyday at 5 pm . I am handicap walking with a cane you can't get the carts thru the isle s. Without moving stuff . today I'm in line behind a few people and they now are saying they can only take cash your machines never work when you swipe them . I just had over $50 in my cart . and I left it there because your workers don't know what they are doing you have . to fix this store and fast. You have lost so much local business its not funny. You need a manager in there that knows what to do and how to properly manage a store . I never worked in retail but years in the restaurant business I know how smooth things should run . and this store is no longer in my thoughts so much for your loss

Dollar General Customer Service.

I went in to get a few things. There was no employees behind the cash registers. They were all outside smoking while a "USE SELF CHECK OUT" sign did all the work. There were 3 employees there. A black male and 2 whites females. There was a line of people waiting to check THEMSELVES out while your lazy employees took their smoke breaks and chatted about what they are gonna doing this weekend. I am LIVID. If I wasn't an honest person, I could have robbed your company blind because you have employees who would rather chit chat and smoke then do their job. IT IS RIDICULOUS. This took place on October 21 around 6:15 pm. Something needs to be done. This Dollar General is terrible.

On 10/30/21 at the Wire Road, Auburn, Alabama DG about 1pm there was nobody watching the front checkouts or the wide open front door. One man started yelling out loud, "Is there ANYBODY WORKING at this store?" He yelled several times, louder and louder. Finally a black male employee came to the front checkouts. I saw the new self-serve checkouts and used those. The worker had gone back to a distant part of the store, perhaps stocking.

the doors were wide open, anybody could have carried out 3 cartloads of merchandise without paying. A nice black woman did the self checkout in front of me and we both talked about how discouraging this new arrangement is with the feeling that nobody is guarding the store. Thieves can have a field day. Luckily she was honest and so am I.

I tried to phone you about this a few minutes ago, was put on hold, told it would be an average 3 or 4 minute wait to speak to a customer service rep, but the phone tree kept playing music and saying "do you want a callback?" and finally I hung up. So this message may not be in time to help the Wire Road disaster today, no telling how much stock you've lost in the hour it took me to drive home and write this complaint.

I'd rather you shut the store 3 days a week and have GREAT EMPLOYEES there and the assurance every customer must PAY for his merchandise, than have the store "wide open" to thieves 7 days a week.

I do like Dollar General, a whole lot.

Thanks for hearing me.

I'm only complaining to alert you to a problem that may cost DG their profits. I don't want to see DG fail.

hope is new and i am going to quit spending there I go in there 2x a day until she started i know when you close she runs down the isles yelling ten minutes even comes down the isles after you. she is very rude I had a clearance item she was too lazy to check so she slammed the keys on the table to change the price my wife gets the same treatment if this is how its going to be i quit spending at dg i ASSURE YOU IAM NOT THE ONLY MAD CUSTOMER BECAUSE OF HOPE.

Dollar General Neatness if stores

I've been in Dollar General stores in 3 states yesterday, Tennessee, Missouri, and Arkansas looking for a supplement ! Those shelves are never stocked, the little stock you have is in the wrong bin or it's on a palate blocking the isle!
In every store, boxes are piled In almost every isle, most of them blocking isles. It's like trying to walk a maze!
Someone in your organization should teach organizational skills, facings that are in the correct place and safety procedures to keep people from falling.
