Not aloud to sell prepaid cell phones.
I just got back from the Dollar General in New Port Richey, FL
11850 De cubellis Rd, and the lady behind the counter said that they weren't aloud to sell the prepaid cell phones in the locked display case.
I kinda laughed, but she was serious and couldn't give me a reason why. I even asked for the Manager and she said that there wasn't one working today. WHAT?.
If I owned into that franchise and one of my employees said a remark like that. I would fire everyone that works in that store. Because they are being trained wrong and definitely is putting the stores name to shame.
I'm still dumbfounded.
Overcharged and didn't give my money bk
I was at store number 970 on aug 9 2023 and bought a lot of stuff two of the items were dog treats that had a white close out sign on them and stated they were 2 for 6 so I got 2 .during my check out a woman named kay who is the assistant manager scanned the treats I told her they didn't ring up tight and proceeded to show her the sign and the many other treats that were there . Her attitude was awful and said well this time I will do it but these are expired coupons I told her that wasn't my fault and that's the price that was on them as I've been a manager in a store and if the coupon was expired it's on the store to pull them . So I thought she fixed it and when I got home no she had charged me almost 450 a piece for them and not only had she dun that but charged me twice . I went bk in on the 16th with the receipt to get my money bk . I waited my turn as the cashier had a line simply asked to speak with a manager she asked what did I need and I explained to her and I had the receipt and the package of the item . She said ur bringing bk stuff ur dog ate I said I paid for them and yes he ate em I got overcharged and would like my money bk that I got over charged so she went to the bk I followed her and the assistant which happened to be the same lady who checked me out started talking and I stepped in the bk they both screamed at me to get out of the bk room and I told them I was just trying to explain they again yelled at me and Kay got up and told me she didn't even have to fix it that day but she did and I said mamn u over charged me I showed her where she quantity of 2 and cane up as 895 and than she scanned one at 450 and than she price over rided for 4.00 she never took the 895 off period and than charged me once again for one she never did give me the correct amount . She than said to me so I'm just supp give u money on what u say and I said lady u over charged me the proof is here and I'm not trying to get over anything I just want my money bk . She proceeded to be cruel and I busted out in tears and said enough is enough I'm getting a corporate number and I'm getting sumthing dun she was rude and I've never in my life been treated or talked to in that manner esp when I did nuthing wrong both of those employees were cruel to me and I dint know if I will ever shop with dollor store again but I want my money bk and sunthing dun about the way I was treated cause I had my receipt and she screwed up not me and I actually drove to the other dollie store in town crying and asked for a corporate number and could not get one no one knew ur number tgey did at least apologize but did not know a number for u and this is in Salem Indiana my name is Hope Trueblood
Desired outcome: I expect my money bk and maybe sum sire of restitution for the embarrassment and crap I endured over nuthing and the fact I called my eyes out and expect the two employees to be delt with
Truck driver
The truck driver was driving on hwy 328 in between harriman, tn and oakdale, tn about hit my husband on the curves. The date is 8/16/23 and the time was after 3:00 pm in the afternoon. The driver came around the curves on my husband's side of the road and never even stopped! My husband had to slam his brakes on to keep the truck from running over the top of his truck. You need to quit putting your stores in the country on the back roads that are not made for semi trucks!

These pickles are horrible. They are mushy smell horrible taste like chemicals and taste like the plastic jug. Clover valley kosher dill pickles gallon size
These are the worst pickles I have ever had. I love to drink pickle juice also, but it's a no go with these. I checked the expiration date and they are suppose to be good for another 2 years. If they are this bad now, I hate to know what they were like if somebody didn't purchase until closer to expiration. These things are rancid, not to mention that I paid more for these than I would a name brand at any other store. I just happen to live close to DG and really wanted pickles. I thought surely you Can't mess pickles up, and went for the big jug! Boy, was I wrong! Such a disappointment.
Desired outcome: I would like my money back, or at least a good jar of pickles in its place. I spent almost $8 on these gross pickles.
Wrongful dismissal
I was the asst. Manager at my store. I reported my manager for not giving notice of schedule (never over 24 he notice) and theft occuring by my manager. I was so happy when the Dollar General was built about 3 miles away.. I have to say I am completely disappointed with it. You can never get what you need because the shelves are always empty and they have those big carts loaded with merchandise to be put on the shelves. Today, again I went down and got 3 items out of 4. Honestly, you can't get at the shelves because they are blocked. There were quite a few customers there a little after 3 o, clock today 7/25/23, and all complaining about you can't ever get what you want. And the aisles are so full of unpacked items that customers had a hard time getting around. A Dollar General spokesman that represents Boyle County Kentucky needs to drop in on the Parksville, Ky Dollar General. Something has to be done if, in my opinion, they want to stay open.
Heartland farms seafood medley cat food
We on the regular go to the dollar store to buy things but buying cat food has never been a problem till now. We bought this food thinking it would be safe for our cats. Then not long after we have fed them it they have been throwing up every time they eat. If this product really makes my cats I’ll and there’s a huge vet bill I will be more than livid. After doing research I’ve seen there is another complaint about this food with mold! I haven’t see mold in the food but the food shouldn’t be molding a week after purchase. Not only that but the brand has had several recalls in the past. I’ve never had this big of a problem with the dollar store but now I do.

On Sat. 7/22, I went to my local Dollar General in Hilliard, FL. As I walked in, the guy going in right behind me was was barefoot and the feet were dirty. I told the girl at the register he was barefoot and she said OK!, so I thought she would tell him to leave.
