The store hours indicate open "Every day 8:00 am - 9:00 pm." with a clear sign on the front door. I visited this store frequently and three times this month the store was locked in the middle of the day. Sunday Oct 1st, 1:00 pm (Sunday 2:00 pm 10/29/23 last visit), lights on and the sign on the door. The website indicates the same hours of operation. It's annoying to waste time going there and knowing they doors might be locked. Several customers were lined up at the door and turned away due to the doors locked. Like I mentioned above, third time in 1- month the doors are locked, lights on and the hours of operation indicate the store is open.

I purchased 2 gallons of this (Clover Valley)"distilled" water to make colloidal silver for medicinal use in Sept this year. When the colloidal silver was tested it showed unusual results and was disposed of. When the water in the jug was tested it showed high levels of iron, copper and nitrates! The other bottle was unopened and had been stored in a dark, cool place. It also tested the same. The nitrates introduced to colloidal silver can produce a very dangerous combination! The copper in the water alone could be very bad for someone like my daughter who has a health issue of high copper in her blood already The $1.75 per gallon I paid is not the issue. Purity IS ! You need to check your quality control and notify FDA if you have produced an entire batch of NON distilled water product. The amount of contaminants could indicate well water ! That would be fraud in my opinion.

I bought a 1 gallon jar, the label was falling off. I opened the seal which was also half way off and the contents smelled horrible. I tried to fork out a couple pickles and they were mushy and literally fell off the fork. I couldn't bare the smell and figured this must be a rotten batch so threw them out. I could still smell the rottenness throughout the house so I fished the jar from the trash to take to the outside trash. Really sucked!

I was told I was trespassed for using tap pay and while using it the system rebooted, I went and got an employee who stood and watched while it rebooted and I successfully purchased my items, I went in the next day and was told I couldn't be in the store and they showed me a picture of the register camera that was me in the picture waiting for it to reboot. The manager sent a text with the picture of me to all the employees and one former employee who replied to the text message, "She's stealing huh?" I don't understand what I did wrong to be trespassed. Or why my picture was being sent to former employees that seem to be slandering/profiling

Me and 2 other customers was waiting to check out for about 5 minutes when I overheard voices coming from office. I looked around into door and ask, 'can we check out?'. The cashier (young white male) said 'I was not supposed to stick head in door to tell them I'm ready to check out.' There was the young white male and older black female, I told him 'I shouldn't have to come to office to tell you I'm ready to check out'. He rang up my purchase and when I handed him cash money, he jerked it out my hand. He put change in my hand along with receipt and then I asked him to place my things in a bag. Then he said I'm not supposed to talk to him that way and went to get the manager. She asked (black female) 'what was the problem?' and I told her I wanted my items in a bag. She picked my items up and slung them in bag. My purchase was small, but I should not have received that type of treatment. Respect should have been shown regardless of age and I am 70.

The new manager of the dollar general store 1433 south roan st in Johnson city TN. I believe her name is Lacey. I was in there 9/23 with coupons to use and the assistant manager was unable to get my coupons to work and she couldn’t override anything. She asked the manager to help her. The manager had no idea what to do. She made inappropriate comments about stupid customers wanting to use coupons when they never work. I told her the coupons stated spend $25 or more to get $5 off. I spent exactly $25. She kept telling me to purchase more. I refused to. She continued to rant about customers need to go home and leave her alone. She don’t have time for retarded issues and really really wanted me to change my mind about using coupons. Finally she did her job and got it to work. But I should not be a target for an unprofessional manager who can’t keep her cool and respect customers who are trying to use coupons that their store puts out. She needs to go. This isn’t the first time this has happened.

I went into to Dollar General it was raining all day 9/25/23. I had two bags of my own. I asked Alex Cashier for one of their grey plastic bag so my things don’t get wet. He told me he wasn’t allowed because they are expensive. Ridiculous.

I asked for a yellow plastic bag an extra he said No. I told Alex I would pay for it. I have Contacted their Corporate office about this Disrespectful BS about this illiterate cashier.

I went dollar general and put 100$ on a netspend debit card. Came home to pay a bill with it but it would not let me use the card. I called netspend and they told me I wasn't registered on their computer. I have used netspend for 20 years. But I went ahead and registered again and tried to register the card again but it wouldn't register the card. So I called netspend again and they told me the same thing again and told me to go back to dollar general. Si I went back to dollar general and the manager told me she couldn't put the 100$ on another card that I had to contact INCOMM.com. since I contacted them 4 times now and this is where I'm at on this situation. Now my bill is past due. Water is shut off and now I have to come up with another 60$ plus the 100$ to have my water turned back on and I have no money to have it turned back on.

Very rude and vulgar behavior in the Uniontown area Dollar general. The employee had a name tag of Kalie and she acted as though we were invading her space. She was in the phone with someone-appeared to be voice texting-and several times used the "[censored]" word. While I understand that people use that word frequently, we feel that it is very unprofessional for a store employee to be heard.

We do hope that some disciplinary action will be taken against this employee.
