Dollar General Store on Gallatin Pike, in Madison TN is closed during store hours.
We have pulled into the DG parking lot many times to shop, only to find the doors locked.
I understand emergencies, or cleaning, or some sort of cash register malfunctions; however this does not seem to be the issue.
At 4:45 this evening, Sept.22nd, the doors were locked. Many ppl were waiting and others driving out, warning everyone that it's closed and there is no point in getting out of your car.
Last week, same issue. During early afternoon hours, it seemed the workers were inside, but the doors were locked and noone was able to shop.
Two Saturdays ago, before lunch, the doors were locked, workers were inside.
This has happened, four times just in our few visits in the past month. I have a big family and our DG needs are real. I don't wish to shop elsewhere yet I find myself not wanting to waste my time on a store that is possibly closed during their posted business hours.
Some investigating may need to be done.
