Dollar General

I am a customer ofbthe Dollar Store on East 7th st. In Hopkinsville, Ky. On multiple occassions i visited the store and it is filthy! The floors are dirty, the shelves are empty. There are carts sitting arounds blocking shelves or aisle that have products on them, but the shelves are not stocked. This is not something that is new, it has been going on for years, but it just seems to keep getting worse. The employees blame it on the customers that frequent the store and I dont doubt that to a degree. But something needs to be done! Either hire some stock people or more employees to get the job done correctly. I dont know if the employees you have are lazy or overwhelmed?
I can drive 10 miles down the road to your Lacy Dollar Store and it is so neat snd clean and the shelves are stocked and well kept. A former manager at the East 7th street store told me that was because the Lacy Store had less customers...or maybe the Lacy Store works harder at keeping their store clean and stocked. Perhaps they take a little more pride in their jobs. Maybe the East 7th Street store has had poor management?
There is a problem in that store and from reading other complaints this seems to be a problem with quite a few of your stores. Peehaps you dont care as long as you are making money. It makes people wonder when nothing seems to change!
I hope you will you honestly take a look at this store and see how it can be helped. I think it can be better but somebody is going to have to step in and lead that store. And while you are at it, checknout the one on West 7th and North Main. They also have nasty store. Perhaps it is the location and customers that it serves. But with the proper amount of employees and guidance it could be better.

I am a customer who goes to Lake Panasoffkee, Florida's Dollar General store # 10103. I frequent this store sometimes three to four times a day and the shelves are always bare of product. Every time I pull into the parking lot 3 or DG's employees are standing on the side of the building smoking. (Store Manager Nancy, Associate Kim and Associate Marion). There is only one employee in the store (Ms. Jackie) and she is running the cash register with the line backed up down the aisle. When the Manager and Associates re-enter the store the walk to the back and don't assist Jackie with the line formed.

the Dollar general store in Brighton Tn 38011 is so messy and you cant get around anything cause they got stuff every where you have to move stuff to get to where you need to go floors are dirty and the Dollar general store in Atoka is 10 times worse something needs to be done or they will lose people that shop there and the rows are so small that you cant turn around with the basket or pass anyone on the same row

For years this store is a mess. Merchandise in the aisles. Employees that do not care. The most concerning is elderly shop here and the appearance of the store is unsafe. As you can see by the pictures and other posts it seems to be that all Dollar General stores do not care of their appearance and safety of their stores. You would hope that with all of the complaints that something would be done.

every time you go in the store there are carts of material to be put on the shelves, hardly anything on the shelves. You can't hardly walk in there.

I have made numerous complaints about the boulevard plaza store in Wichita about the treatment of the disabled. also, employees harassing people going to mail letters in the mailbox that sits right in front of your store.

I am so disappointed to learn you are no longer going to sell My Pillow products. I can only assume that you do not believe in freedom of speech anymore. This is appalling to me because if you disagree with a conservative Christian you just stop serving those of us who are your customers.
Where were you this past summer when people's businesses, cars were being burned to the ground, looted, police officers injured, people KILLED. Trying to blame Mike Lindell for other people's behavior is ridiculous and by the way I thought we were still free to speak in this country even if others don't like what we say! This cancel culture is going to lead to communism taking over our country. It's funny that nothing ever applies to Democrats or liberals but in communism even those people will have no voice.
Sadly I will no longer be able to shop at your stores because I feel I must stand up for at least HALF OF THE CITIZENS IN THIS COUNTRY! Just so you know you are only losing business because the My Pillow company is now making more money than ever thanks to companies like you!

Went by the local dollar general today after a long tiring day. Me being 46 and hurting constantly I dont always have a smile at the end of the day. As I gathered my items and brought them to the counter I was sliding them across the counter under the very small window of plexiglass protection to her when I was extremely belittle by the very rude young female cashier yelling in a very stern manner do I have issues, then in trying to find a complaint dept to email them it was basically non existent had to make a phone call with no resolve yet. This is very unacceptable behavior for a cashier it was terrible experience

My family has been devoted to Dollar General for the last 30 years or more. So needless to say I was very saddened by your choice to begin censoring conservative vendor. So of course now my family will no longer shop at the Dollar General until they apologize for supporting censorship and cancel culture. My goal is to inform and continue to grow support all across the Country to cancel Dollar General. Will pray for your lost souls and of course will miss shopping at my favorite store. Thank you for you time.

we need back the line on the floor for social distancing this is a pandemic and i need my grandbabies and myself to feel safe in your store in California City and please mandate mask wearing before entering the store at all time during this times, each cashier need the six feet distance line down some people have no common sense which makes things hard for others
