DirecTV review: Not receiving the channels that I'm supposed to be receiving

On July 28th, 2026, Direct TV was changing our local channels from NY County, to New Haven, Ct County. They removed all of my NY channels, but never replaced the local CT channels. When I called, I was told that I needed a new receiver and they would mail me one. If I could not install it myself, they could send out a tech. Never received it, called and was told that I had an appt for an installer and new receiver scheduled for Aug 29th! I was NEVER informed of this. The representative argued with me that yes I was, even though I have their order in fromt of me stating that I was to receive the receiver in the mail and install it myself.
I asked for a supervisor and was told that he would call back the next day. Crickets.

Desired outcome: I want an immediate appointment and receiver! And also, credit for not being able to watch any of my local shows!
