Dick's Sporting Goods Outstanding customer service - Happy Valley, Phoenix AZ Location

Went shopping for shoes and was greeted by an Employee who's name is Life.
What a Great experience from the beginning since he was very Knowledgeable, Professional and a Great energy about him! he answered all of our questions and double checked inventory to ensure stock. Tried on a few pairs and decided on the HOKA Bondi 9. Life was very attentive and made sure that the fit was proper and that we were comfortable with our choice. Shopped for clothes and needed to try on a few items. Team members responded immediately when we pushed the assistance button for the dressing room. Finally, went to check out and a Team member by the name of Tea assisted, and was very pleasant, professional and caring with bagging items. Store and Employee's are exceptional at this location, and always a Great shopping Experience!

Recommendation: WOW, what a Great store that's always clean and organized. Employee's are Exceptional!

Dick's Sporting Goods Dick's wants to charge you free money

Ordered a baseball bat for our son on 18th, in-store to be shipped as they did not have the one we wanted, in stock. Was supposed to be delivered by 25th. Nothing. Talked to the customer care, was cited "remorse period" of 30 minutes after ordering, the order can neither be cancelled nor be refunded... WHAT? So basically, Dicks will neither deliver the product nor will refund the money. It's an expensive bat. Wants to keep the free money? No comunication about it too. Simple rule, either deliver the product per the agreed upon timeframe or refund the money. There aren't 2 ways about it. To top it all, my son had an important game on 26th, now he is bummed too, as it was his birthday present.

Dick's Sporting Goods Worse experience with the store cashier

Purchase multiple items at the store today, everything was going great till at cashier. I understand store closing in 10 min. but it's not an excuse for not helping customer correctly. After Casher ring my purchases, I informed the cashier I still have a gift card with some credit first, after the cashier inputted that, I mentioned to cashier that I also have $10 Store Award along with 20% coupon, the cashier just simply told me that I cannot do that since he has already inputted the gift card and clicked done. So, I asked the cashier if he can simply cancel the order and redo it again with Award and coupon code. He just simply tells me that he cannot cancel my order and I will need to come back next time to ask manger to credit me back? So I told the cashier that then I dont want to buy it then, he's like okay then I can cancel my order and walked away?

Dick's Sporting Goods I asked for help and was ignored

I tried to get help from an associate, who i think was in charge on 03/17/23. I dont know who he is since i didnt see a nametag or but he had a radio and clothes in his hands. As I asked for help, he just sped in a different direction and wouldn't speak to me and i feel it was disrespectful and unprofessional. I eventually got some help from the nicer ladies at the front

Dick's Sporting Goods I have had very good luck

Sales people are very helpful. If they do not have the specific item you want in store. They will go online with you to get it. Or they will recommend you to another store such as Golf Galaxy. I have bought stuff recently for my son who is a lefty golfer. Not always easiest thing to get. However, when Dicks did not have the item online or in store. They sent me to Golf Galaxy (which they own) and they priced matched the item to the sale price.

Dick's Sporting Goods Batting help

I went to the Dicks at Fayetteville mall in Lexington ky trying to find my son a new tee-ball bat, I had a few I wanted to try and a sales person named Tucker. He took my son and I into the indoor cage they have and told us we had 4 swings with each bat, well he went above and beyond as far as helping me with my son to get comfortable with his new bat and swinging techniques. I have never had such good service from an employee and I shop at this store a lot. I just wanted to tell him thank you and great job, I hope you know what kind of employee this gentleman is.

Dick's Sporting Goods Customer Service and product -- 5 Star

Dick's Sporting goods at Delta Park Portland, Oregon is just the happiest. Customer service oriented retail I have experienced in a while. Hats off to cashier, Bri and managers Eric and Mike: And especially Eric at Corporate customer service. There was an issue with the tent I ordered: They all helped get that that issue fixed w/out showing frustration of judgment! Dick's staff does care about the sports and well being of their customers. They are patient and kind and actually ASK questions in order to super know what the issue is.

Dick's Sporting Goods Ridiculous freight shipping

My partner and I have been waiting on a kayak since middle of May and the pilot company who works with Dick's Sporting goods and handles freight shipping said our kayak should be here over a week ago and when we called to check they said once it gets to this location another shipping company will call us and we have yet to receive any calls even though it's been at the location since our expected delivery date. Over a week ago. But we called dicks and they are returning the 250 shipping fee and going to call to figure out where our kayak is. Very grateful they are doing something about the issue

Dick's Sporting Goods Great!

On December 20th, I was doing shopping in your shop for some gear of snowboarding.
And it was the best shopping experience I ever had in Dick's sporting good. When I was shopping, a shop keeper came up and asks me what I was looking for. After knowing it was my first time to go snowboarding, he helped me to find a good snowboarding pant, which is good for a learner. Also, he found me a pair of glove, which can be connected with my jacket, and a goggle which matches my helmet as well. Moreover, the shop keeper recommends me some protection pant, which was 49 dollars before, but it is 9.99 dollars after discount. I have to say everything he recommend me to buy is worthy.

Dick's Sporting Goods THANK YOU MICHAEL/STIX

I just wanted to say a big BIG thank you to Michael at the Mentor store. This man went above and way beyond. I was in a horrible mood and of course last minute my child alerted me to an absolute need for the next day for her wrestling match. I arrived at the store not in a mood to be mislead or toyed with. Michael (Stix) immediately jumped into action, not only got me what I needed but checked to see if it was cheaper with another brand and just gave me such a good experience I literally was in a better mood than when I arrived. Also, they had what I could not find anywhere else for such short notice. THANK YOU MICHAEL. He was not only a complete professional - he was kind and knowledgeable. THANK YOU.

Dick's Sporting Goods Corporate Steps Up

Sometimes you dont always have the best experience with a store you would expect. After shopping at a Dicks store in NC an iteam was on display but not available and it had to be shipped at my expense or picked up at a store an hour away. Speaking with the clerk and then a manager I was told there was nothing they could do. I found this to be an unacceptable answer. I did purchase the iteam because it was for my son and I did not want to disappoint him. When I arrived home I was still not happy so I called corporate custermer sevice and spoke to Michele Willlams and after explaining how I was treated he quickly rectified the problem with a twenty dollar rewards on my score card and a ten dollar credit on my credit card for the iteam purchased.
Sometimes a store dose not always reflect the corporates philosophy.
Thank You Dicks Sporting Goods corporate office for stepping up giveing me more than a fair solution

Just spoke with the supervisor at the call center who left a lot to be desired. She was so unwilling to help that she asked in a snarky manner, what can I do to help...to make a point that I was being unreasonable. My order was canceled multiple times without an explanation. Calls were unhelpful and they have no chat function online or email. Each time I click on chat it takes me back to the phone number. When I explained that my shoe size was rare and that finding my size in a style and brand that fit for 80% off was a huge deal, the supervisor never once said she would help me find it or a similar deal. Until I told her that as a manager it's her job to problem solve and I mentioned that the shoe and price were now gone she never offered to help me match the price or how to get that resolved. Finally after telling her three times that it's her job to problem solve after she defensively stated that I wasn't getting bad service, and again explaining that the sale is over she then told me that they might help match prices if I call back again. They also continue to repeatedly change my name and then have the nerve to be disrespectful and claim its not my name. When I went to the closest location in person, not only did a cashier who isn't a supervisor offer to help me look for a shoe but he gave me a $10 off coupon for the inconvenience. If a young cashier can treat a customer this well, a manager can help. I stand all day for work and get paid so little I can't afford comfortable shoes. The pain is so horrible that I'm not sure I can keep working. The only shoes the sell in my size in the store is my one week salary. So finding shoes that I can afford in my size is a big issue. It was in stock when I ordered but it is now gone because I couldn't reach customer service in time. They also did not give me a reason why my orders were repeatedly canceled or how to contact them. They need to train staff and treat customers better.

used Hanover store but I am sure the problem is widespread OK to buy clothes etc but do not bother to buy any equipment, I purchased an elliptical through their store the process was painful, the company they used for assembly ,select express was disorganized and inefficient, the manager tried to do his best to help me out which I appreciate but having said that Dicks is way over the head when it comes to exercise equipment, they need to realize that and stick with selling in store merchandise.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Customer service was horrible. I ordered Jordan’s online last week and when I got them the box was destroyed , creased and stretched out. so I looked at the bottom of the shoe and they’ve been WORN. For a company this big that should NOT be allowed at all. It is unacceptable. I won’t be shopping there anymore.

So Dick's Sporting Goods offered a preorder *** jersey. My husband ordered this a month ago. It was supposed to ship today. Conveniently it was canceled because they are out of stock now. One of my sons big gifts. How do you offer a pre-order of something that you may or may not have...this store is terrible

I odered a physical gift card to be sent to a relative. Purchased it online , that was over 3 wks ago, no email with a tracking number, customer service absolutely a horrific disaster, they couldn't find my order even with all the info and confirmation number, gave me a number to call. They said it was mailed out ( l) but no tracking number. They will not respond to my emails and I'm furious they took my money but no gift card.

Dicks offers an asurion protection plan. Store says it replaces for worn out products. This is absolutely not true. I know numerous people who have fell prey to their scam. I would recommend an attorney file a class action against them

I have never experienced such a horrible and unprofessional customer service in my life like I have with Dick's Sporting Good. It is so sad to have such a big company with an extremely poor customer service. *** you definitely have a serious problem in your hands. Can't wait for Academy Sports/Outdoors to take over!Wouldn't recommend you order anything from Dick's Sporting Good.

If I were able to leave a 0 star I would. Was given a coupon from ***. The store would not honor. I asked for the manager, and spoke to her.. She did nothing to help. I have 3 kids that ALL play sports and we get these coupons all of the time so it's not like they are a rare event! Manager Gave me the run around.. I even reached out to their corporate chat line and was given the same POOR customer service. It's ok... Sporting goods sector is very competitive and there are plenty of options online. Just unfortunate that I can't help local business! Oh well... I tried.

Dick's Sporting Goods I need help

I need help. I want to know if this is considered abuse and what I can do to prevent it. I don't want any other children to go through this. On the morning of June 19, I took my 9-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter to the store to buy a bicycle for my son. We were all very excited because he was going to upgrade from a kids' bike to a bigger one with handle brakes. Since I had done some research, I asked the salesperson, whose name I don't remember, to let my son try a 20" wheel bike. The salesperson had my son sit on the bike seat and hold onto the front wheel with his legs. He then asked my son to step down on the bar. Their faces were about 10 inches apart. He said to my son, "THIS IS TOO BIG FOR YOU!" I respectfully asked if we could try it out here because I thought it might be the right size, or if my son could grow into it. The salesperson ignored me again and said directly to my son, while looking down at his face, "OH NO, THIS IS TOO BIG FOR YOU, YOU MAY DIE, OR YOU WILL GET HURT!" I thought he might be joking for a moment, but he seemed very serious. Immediately, my son got off the bike and nervously told me, "I don't need it, it's too big. I don't want a bigger bike anymore, I will get hurt!" I tried to stay calm so as not to scare my son any further. I asked the salesperson, "What would you recommend?" He pointed to the kids' bikes in boxes. I quickly said, "Thank you for your help, we're done for today." However, I realized I needed to speak up. I told him, "Sir, I respect what you do, but you should never tell a child that they may die or get hurt!" There was another employee present the whole time. Then the salesperson, who seemed deeply offended, raised his voice and started talking about his own children who are all grown up. None of it was relevant at that point. Both of my kids were upset with me. My son was really shaken up. As I walked away, I tried to stop the salesperson from talking by saying, "That's okay, ***..." My kids started to think that the salesperson was the expert...

Worst shopping experience I have ever had. Ordered camping equipment and they sent the wrong tent. They had me purchase it again and print off a return label for the incorrect one. It was received and signed for at their facility on 5/24/2022 and they have yet to refund the purchase. When I called they said that they never received it. I opened a claim with FedEx and the denied it saying it was delivered and signed for by ***. I called dicks back and they were all apologizing and flabbergasted at why it hasn't been refunded yet and said he would have it resolved immediately. We'll, week later, today,, I opened a dispute with my bank. This is insanity.

I purchased a set of senior mens golf clubs from Dick's Sporting Goods. I could not get solid hits on the ball and did not like the quality of the clubs. The return policy at Dick's is a scam, and customer service is a joke. They manufacture the clubs, and will not accept a return.Bought clubs July 22nd, and would not take return on Aug. 3rd. Two or three Scratches on driver from trying out the clubs. No returns on clubs if tried out outside of store (purchased online). Absolutely contrary to return policy.

I received $120 reward through their points system. I ordered a product that was $80. They asked if I wanted to use my $120 reward. Sure! What they do not tell you is that they keep the entire $120 reward. If I bought a soda and used the reward, it would have been $120 soda. What in the world. I called their customer service number and they said they would be glad to cancel the order but it would take another month to get my reward back. What type of program is that? Entirely unethical and should be illegal!

Dick's Sporting Goods Softball bat 32" ghost advance unlimited

My daughter Easton ghost bat cracked, and we went to the store located in Tacoma Washington inside the mall last week and this Sunday 4/13 to ask for assistant. First time, my husband and my daughter tried to returned the bat and came home minutes after leaving and was told the store cannot do anything for us. Second on 4/13, I spoke with 1 sales rep and 2 managers requesting if they can provide me with a copy of the receipt so I can contact the manufacturing and request a refund. I was informed that their POS can only go back 90 days and there was nothing that they can do. I continued to ask for solutions, and one of the managers laughed out loud and so I asked her why are you laughing. "Do you think it is funny that a 12year old girls spent all her birthday money saving for this bat and for it to be broken in a few months and does not have a bat to play with during her sports tournaments, not everyone can afford a new $400 bat?" I told Dicks staff that we have spent a lot of money over the years for our 2 kids to play school, rec, and travel sports, and we are not trying to ask for a new bat since we were already told numerous times there is nothing they can do from the beginning but I continued to asked for more resolution. I asked for a number that I can call and or an email address to contact the GM of the property, but was told that they could not give that information out (didn't understand, since it was the GM and a work email?) My husband was upset, went to the car first, and then my 12 years left to returned to the car to cry. After 30 minutes of conversation, a secondary manager came in on the conversation. Have to admit, she tried to help gave us the number to the customers service line where they were able to send me a copy of my receipt within 5 minutes to my email once I got home. From there I was able to contact Easton company and have put in a order for bat exchange. I did not understand why it took two attempts to get answers and why we were treated that way. At this point, much faster result to order all future products needed for sports from the manufacturing themselves or to go through Amazon because Dicks Sporting goods have shown us that they do not care about helping the customers and is Ok with losing customers. Still have not received any communication from the GM from this location to discuss any of my recent concerns.

Claimed loss: Here is the claim number from Easton #[protected]. Not sure when we can get a new bat, needs to be approved by underwriting then the waiting period begins.

Desired outcome: Better knowledge to give to customers so they don't spend Sundays telling the store that they will my family and friends as customers and that laughing at someone loss is not ok especially when times are hard with money.

Dick's Sporting Goods Disappointment with customer service and order fulfillment at dick's sporting goods

Dear Dick's Sporting Goods Customer Service,

I am writing to share my frustration with the customer service experience I recently had at your Scottsdale Fashion Square location, specifically regarding an incomplete order I received and the lack of support I received in resolving the issue.

I placed an order two days ago, and it was delivered yesterday. Upon inspecting the package, I discovered that I only received one shoe instead of a full pair. I immediately went to the store to address this issue, but unfortunately, the response I received from the associate I spoke to was unsatisfactory. Rather than offering a helpful solution, I was simply told to accept a $20 refund, making me feel as though they were more interested in brushing me off than actually assisting me.

I then spoke with a floor manager, hoping for a more constructive resolution. However, the manager appeared overwhelmed by the busy store environment and indicated that it was not their responsibility to address the issue. As a result, I was left feeling completely ignored and frustrated, ultimately returning the shoes without resolving the problem.

My goal was simply to purchase a pair of Clifton 9 shoes, but this experience has unfortunately deterred me from moving forward with my purchase. The poor customer service I received at this location has left me disappointed in both Dick's Sporting Goods and the way Hoka products are represented in your stores.

I hope you can look into this situation and take the necessary steps to ensure that future customers do not face similar issues. I would appreciate your attention to this matter and any follow-up regarding my experience.

It seems you may have been misled by an unofficial seller, possibly via a third-party ad on Facebook. Since Dick's Sporting Goods is a reputable company, but the tracking number suggests China Post, this could indicate a fraudulent seller using the store’s name

Our son got an irritation in his Privat part, his knees hurt while we tried to return you the bike and explain the issue, we spent me and my my 8 y old son more than 2 hours in your store trying to explain the incident with the DEFECT bike, the Staff at the store showed no understanding for the situation and how much this bike is hurting my son, refuse to admit but insisting on nothing wrong with the bike and that I should have returned within 24h (which is totally Ridiculous for a child to figure it out in 24h).

They asked me to contact the Customer service on the phone which was aligned with the store team as well and repeat the same thing, and regret she can not help but it could have been not a problem if this was ordered online, she said I have to clarify with the vendor directly, and that she will send me the vendor contact to my email ([protected]@hotmail.com) which has never happen.

NOW I invite you to look at the irritation in my Sons Privat part the last Saturday we came back from your store. disappointed and exhausted from riding it back.

I need a clarification and expect an IMMEDIAT RESPONSE to this matter before we escalate to a higher level, especially when child's well being has been handled careless and without any understanding
We even asked for an upgrade and they refused.

Dick's Sporting Goods Under armour project rock 5 training shoes

A false advertisement claim. Dick's Sporting Goods are listing shoes for low prices and when you go to buy them they will be available but then all of a sudden it says no options available. I talked to customer service they first claimed they were all sold out I said no you aren't. It clearly shows they are available till you click the size... Not just one specific size any of the sizes. Then they said well it is available but not within 100 miles of me... I said well tell me where the shoes are available and they couldn't tell me so I started typing in random zip codes in other states, same thing no option available... I recorded the whole conversation in text and she admitted the advertisement was misleading but she was still not going to honor it. She kept trying to bait and switch me to a different shoe that costed more... So now I am having to pay a higher price for the shoe.

Dick's Sporting Goods Gift card and racist employees

dicks sporting goods discriminated on me several times their agent accused me of stealing points they have told me they dont want my kind doing business with them they didnt accept a arbitration, they have closed out a gift card that i later found and they refused to send me another card nor did they reissue me another one, they accused me of stealing points they then removed all my points to a negative balance and they countioulsy hung up the phone on me each time i called they also, owe me $160 or more because they lied and said i harrassed them with a cest and desist letter they have every call i made i had to make from another phone line becasue they have my number blocked they are the commiting fraud on customers accounts and they stold my money off my gift card and would not return any of my funds after i found the gift card they closed it out and refused to send me another one, this company should not be allowed to sell sneakers...

Dick's Sporting Goods Racial profiling

wish I could give this store no stars at all how I was treated it doesn’t even deserve one star! Please do not shop at Dick’s Sporting Goods on Woodruff Road in Greenville, SC. I was in this store this evening and was racially profiled by Mangers Lissette and Brandon. I am an African American woman who was in there shopping. I had multiple items in my cart that I planned on purchasing. Lissette asked me multiple times did I need any help with anything which at the time I thought she was being helpful. I even asked her for sizes in certain clothes that weren’t on the floor. She informed me that everything that they had was out on the floor. I was on my way to the cash register and noticed I left my wallet in my car. I pushed my cart up front by the cash register and left it to go outside to get my wallet out the car. When I go outside a police officer stopped me and asked me to go back in the store. I’m confused at this point on what’s going on. I step back in the store he asked me did I steal anything he said Lissette and Brandon called and made a report saying I was stealing. I had nothing in my hands not a bag or anything. I told him I was headed to my car to get my wallet. Lissette comes up to me and the officer and tells the officer I pushed the cart to the register. I said I know I planned on coming back in to buy it why would you call the police on me and say I’m stealing? She told me I was in the store to long and Brandon comes up next to her and said because we thought you were. I didn’t know African American customers were on a time limit to make purchases. And then Brandon proceeded to ask me to purchase the items after they called the police on me for just shopping. The officer told me that they called and said I came in the store with a group of people which is a lie I came in the store by myself. I literally just got off work and came to the store to shop. Then when I asked for there names and contact information for Corporate they told me to leave out the store or they will have me trespassed from that location. I said you called the police on me lying saying I was with a group of people stealing now you want to call them back and have me trespassed from this store! This location isn’t safe for African American people to shop the management team will lie on you and make false accusation against you for theft and call the police on you. Before this incident I loved shopping at DICK'S Sporting Goods this is incident was nothing but pure racism from Lissette and she told me nothing would get done to her. Do not shop at this location‼️If this is the type of people that DICK’S Sporting Goods puts in management positions to run there stores do not shop with this company.#Cancel this store

Desired outcome: I want those employees terminated for the embarrassment and shame they caused me. On top of now I can’t even shop with this company thinking I will be profiled again unjustly.

Dick's Sporting Goods Racial profiling

Friday about 11/03/2023 at 209 pm texas time. I am a rewards member and at dicks and shop there often but this time was different. I walked in started looking at Nike pants, picked up one article, reached inside the garment to check price tags because they are not on the outside and there are no signs on any racks how much anything cost. After about 3-4 minutes I noticed 2 Hispanic males walk past me like within 2-3 feet. Then they walked past me again. I was only shopper in Nike area at the time until these two mid 25-30 yr old guys came in area. They were not shopping they were watching me, had me under surveillance, they circled me like sharks in a feeding frenzy. Then one of the males who had on a baseball hat walk right up to me within a few feet and stop and just stared at me for a few seconds. I was very uncomfortable at this point. I now wondering if they are casing me for robbery or jugging . I don’t know but I did see dicks employees walking around and never asked them if they needed help,

So I quickly confirmed they were loss prevention who targeted me because I was black. I didn’t do anything wrong I wasn’t acting suspicious. I was just shopping. Now other white shoppers were in the store, but these two guys just swarmed around me and would not leave. One took a position by the exit door the other on was opposite me in a controlled attempt to prevent me from escaping if I stole something. It was the most uncomfortable feeling I have ever experienced. No shopper should be subject to that. It was an attempt by this store and there loss prevention to make me feel uncomfortable about being in the store and force me to leave in which I quickly made a purchase and left. I was still being watched as I was at the register, both loss prevention guys were texting on there cell phones to each other as their position changed. One exited the store while I was checking out, one stayed in. When I went to my car the guy was outside hiding because I didn’t see him and no cars left the parking area. That was retail racial profiling no doubt. I know they have a problem with theft in that store, from watching the news. And I guess the actors are black because I was immediately Under surveillance after entering the store. There are not a lot of black people in New Braunfels, but I have lived here since 2011. I’ve shopped in this store on and off over 3-5 yrs mostly on line. Due to all the harassment in the store people follow you around ask you 10 times if you need help omg it’s really a battle.

I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a store as Dicks in new braunfels. I don’t think they want black people in this store. No one has the right to make anyone feel like they are a crook while shopping. You can’t use skin color as a predicate for criminal activity . I think this is a store tactic when black people enter the store. Watch them, walk by them 3-4 times, stare at them, walk up close to them and look them in their eyes in an all out effort to make you feel u comfortable in that store and leave. Thats exactly when they did to me. I’m a 65 yr old man with great beard.

How can I be considered a suspect shoplifter. I can’t run, I’m too old to fight, I have medical conditions, how can that description automatically

1. Consumer racial profiling is the practice of targeting a consumer for discriminatory treatment based on the consumer’s race or skin color

2. Racial profiling, which is both illegal and improper. Racial profiling is a practice based on the mistaken belief that certain ethnic groups are more likely to shoplift than others. It causes employees to improperly focus their surveillance on a customer’s race instead of his/her conduct. There are many dangers posed by racial profiling. It can result in false theft accusations, wrongful detentions and harassment when no probable cause exists, all of which can result in legal consequent. Nevertheless, racial profiling is prevalent in retailers nationwide.

3. Retail Racial Profiling

Racial profiling at a store is a traumatic experience that no one should have to go through. If it happens to you, remember that you have rights and there are steps you can take to protect yourself and hold responsible parties accountable.

Dick's Sporting Goods Protection plan that I purchased for my canopy tent

I purchased a 10x20 canopy tent from Dicks sporting goods when I was asked was I interested in purchasing a protection plan. After being told that they offered a 1yr 5 time replacement plan I felt that was the best plan for me. I have had multiple issues with the tent and recently filed a claim which I was sent a gift card. I purchased another tent while there and after using it the button on two of the legs fell down into the leg of the tent. After calling to file an additional claim for the newly purchased tent I was told that my claim was being denied. My receipt of the plan clearly states 1yr 5replacment for 24.99. which isn't being honored and they have sold me a plan that I'm being told doesn't exist when my receipt clearly states it. I am done with Dicks sporting Goods and will now be shopping at Academy sports from now on

Desired outcome: I wish to be able to get another tent as well as get a understanding of why my receipt clearly states 1yr5replacement and it isn't being honored

Dick's Sporting Goods Warranty

Purchased several $400 bats from Dicks sporting goods. Was told if I buy the warranty it would cover damage and that I could walk in and get a new bat with no issues. Did it with the first bat but when I went into the store for the second bat they said they no longer warranty the items there and that I need to call the warranty company. Warranty company said they do not warranty because it is under manufactures warranty. Easton takes 3-4 weeks to warranty a bat and we need one right away to play this weekend. The entire reason in buying the bat from Dicks was the warranty but they changed the rules after they sold me the item and warranty.

Desired outcome: Want Dicks to give me a new bat like they said when I bought their warranty.

Dick's Sporting Goods Proform pro c22 studio bike

I ordered the ProForm Pro C22 Studio bike (Order number [protected]) that was on sale on 9/1. No problems with the delivery. It was delivered on 9/7. The issue is with the bike. It is defective. I set it up and the touchscreen does not work properly and has to be replaced. I contacted Dick's to let them know and their response is that I have to contact ProForm. I wanted to exchange it, but one I tested positive for COVID, so I cannot leave. Then I find out the resistance motor is not working and again I contacted Dick's only for them to tell me to contact ProForm again. The motor has to be replaced as well. It is supposed to be a brand new bike. I wanted to use the bike while I am stuck at home with COVID, and I cannot even do that. No one at Dick’s seems to care. You sell a product, and after that, you are in your own, with or without COVID.

Dick's Sporting Goods Being treated in an unprofessional, rude manner when coming for an interview.

I applied for a position (exact department unknown) and was asked to interview with the Dicks Southills Village store September 8 at 2:00 pm.

I arrived 10 minutes early and was immediately taken to the management office.

As I entered, they were handling Shop lifters (3 Police officers/several suspects).

I was taken to the kitchen to wait. 20 minutes later no one came. I asked an associate if they would like me to reschedule.

The associate told me they will be here in a minute.

15 minutes later still nothing (35 minutes waiting) I got up and told an asst manager in the office to call if they like to speak further. He said ok. Nothing else? Never heard anything back. Nothing.

Oddity was that the manager they said that was to speak with me, Teegen, I had spoken with once before. Negative experience with him. I don't know if this was coincidental with Teegen or I was simply ignored intentionally.

I am a retired executive, simply wanted to work part time at what had been my favorite store. I am very young for my age and have a strong sale, Marketing, business development background.

I have no idea why I was treated in such a rude unprofessional manner. Teegen still appears to not know how to conduct business professionally.

Dick's Sporting Goods Marucci baseball bat

I purchased a Mauricci baseball bat on April 11, 2023, and the protection plan due to the bat being 119.00. We attended a tournament game this past weekend and the bat cracked. I told my son to place it in his bag to which he did. Later when we were leaving, we noticed the bat had been stolen. I reported this to Asurion No Sweat Protection Plan, as it states to replace the product or refund the money for up to a year. Tried several times as Asurion kept telling me to return the bat to Dicks Sporting Goods, and I kept telling them how can I return a stolen bat? I don't have it to return. Then after that, they then told me they could do nothing and would not process the claim. They stole my money and lied about everything. DO NOT purchase anything from ASURION, they lie and don't insure anything. DO NOT purchase anything from DICKS either as they were no help at all!
