Flying Delta to a big conference for my Sorority. I allowed my carry on to be checked in. My luggage was returned to me at my destination rummaged there. I know because the zippers were not engaged and items were coming out of the zippers areas. In this rummaging, my pouch with my Sorority jewelry was either stolen or dropped and not replaced back in.
The problem is this was a connecting flight from RDU to ATL Airport then onto Nashville on July 8, 2026 thereby causing me to not fulfill my role with using my items necessary for different events/presentations.
I am trying g to figure out how do I check to see if by chance this pouch is in one of their lost and find areas. I filed a complaint with both places
These items are onetime pins, no longer available.
I am truly upset.

Recommendation: Don’t be nice and allow YOUR carry on luggage to be checked in!!
