Days Inn rooms/customer service

My company uses your hotels on a weekly basis for our employees which that will stop as of today - i came to one of your hotels in hampton va over the weekend - secured the room for friday night and saturday night. I asked for a non smoking room, got in the room and it smelled like a old ashtray, when i go to take a shower, the ceiling tiles were so full of water and so black and nasty looking i didn't even finish taking my shower! the noise on the 3rd floor was unacceptable at 2-3-4 am. The cleaning lady woke me up about 9am on saturday morning pounding on my door even though i had the sign on my door ''do not disturb'' - saturday evening i went down to customer service with some issues i wanted to speak to someone about - after standing at the window for about 5 minutes watching the clerk text message/facebook on their phone i finally knocked on the window to get their attention - the first thing they said was '' please dont tell corporate what i was doing'' - i expressed my concerns about my stay and asked about a refund and i was told 'we dont do that around here boo''
my company uses your hotels weekly - my company spends thousands of dollars weekly staying at your hotels. However, after my personal visit i will never again use your hotels for my employees. I spent 207.00 dollars on a room that looked like it could have went for 30 or 40 dollars per night. I would like a full refund from my stay. If that is not possible, i will be reaching out to the bbb and will advise all of my 72 company branches not to use your hotels ever again. I expect a email or a phone call within 24 hours of this email. The service and stay was down right horrible. I can be reached at [protected]@gmail.Com my number is [protected].

Days Inn property damage at days inn hotel - newport ri

I was asked to evaluate my stay at the Days Inn in Middletown Rhode Island on July 19 thru July 21. I will need this entire letter to express my disappointment

First of all, the picture on Hotels.com, is a blatant falsehood. Actually, the blue paint is peeling. The staircase has splintered wood that makes walking hazardous. The rooms are outdated with an open closet and old décor.

We parked in the only handicapped space, which angered another guest. The elderly white gentleman yelled at two senior black women, "Go back where you came from"(Queens, New York?) He then proceeded to park in the access lane, against our car. After we complained, we are certain he was the one who keyed my sister's new car, before speeding away. We made a report with the Middletown Police Department, who were told by the manager, there might be footage on the security camera. Apparently the "camera" only focused on the office door and not the parking lot. So, guests could be assaulted and no one would be held accountable.
To add insult to injury, the room (and I use that term loosely) was $619 for two nights. Really? A total rip off, even in high season.

I will be sending this to Wyndham to ask why they would buy a substandard Travelodge, and pretend it could be a Days Inn.

Days Inn room 135

My wife and I called and made reservations several weeks prior for an early check in. We where attending a Bridal shower in the area, and it stated at 12:00 on the 17th of August. I was told to call during the week to see about availability for an early check in and did so, again I was told to call back on Friday and did so, at that time was told of an additional fee for check in and I approved it, so this is where it begins!
We arrived at 11am and checked in Saterday on the 17th, the room was filthy, the floors in the bathroom and the sink are were dirty, the water pressure was literaly non-existant, and the sheets on the bed had not been changed, just remade, there were food crumbs in the sheets, I don't even want to think what was on them pior! There were dry FECES on the toilet, disgusting!
It was obvious no supivisor or manager had ever check the quality of the room! I can only imagine what the other rooms must be like! If we had not been on such a tight schedule, I would have left! As we checked out later that afternoon, NO MANAGER OR SUPIVISOR was on the property to speak with us, so the board of health and OSHA will have to do! I spoke with several employees about the local area, and NO ONE HAD A CLUE ABOUT ANYTHING, this told me there propbably little to no information was given to them.
As a former General Manager of a major hotel chain, the lack of quality support in this hotel is obvious, needless to say I will never stay or recommend Days Inn to anyone! The board of health and OSHA need to be contacted concerning the total unsanitary condition of a room like this! I want a corporate representitive to contact us concerning this matter!

Days Inn service

My mother and I have been displace. My mother call a day before asking if they allow service dog and the lady whom my mother talk too said yes. My mother explain he is a mixture of pit . Was told no problem.

The day of 14th went to make sure. Was told yes by the very rude tall gentleman but after seeing his card no my mother and I he wasnt a service dog due to saying Emotional Service. End up paying more at another n was told he is a service animal.

I not sure bout my mom will never use the motel again during hard times or not. Make sure neither people I know do. Oh and I work retail.

My brother booked us rooms at this place, it looked beautiful on the website but when we got there mold in dirty bathroom, my brothers tv didn't work, broken doorwall, dirty towels, wobbly steps! Days Inn how our family was treated by the business.

After Hurricane Michael and our house being destroyed we had too live in a hotel (Days Inn, Panama City Beach FL) threw FEMA. We were there a couple of months and everything was going okay. I have a son whom was 6 at the time with special needs (Autism). He is non verbal and has some difficulties with every day Life. One day I went to the store to grab groceries with my husband and other 3 children and left my son with his Nana in her hotel room. When I came back I was greeted by the POLICE and hotel security saying that we had to leave. I asked them why and what was the problem. What I was told was my son had apparently gotten some poop on 1 towel and 1 sheet and that we had to leave. Which I don't understand why the police have too be called for that. I started crying and was telling them that I had nowere else to go. After a couple of minutes the security officer tells me that I can pay them a fine of $100 and then I could stay 5 more days. I pleaded with them that I lost my job due too Hurricane and did not have $100. I asked the security officer and head of maid service to show me the things that he had gotten a little poop on and they refused to show it to me. I feel that me and my family were wrongly treated by this establishment and treated cruelly especially given the circumstances of why we had to be there. My children are 7, 6, 2, and 1. And to throw us out with nowere too go and embarrass us by calling the POLICE when in my eyes no wrong was really done to that extent. I need a corporate member not the HOTEL MANAGER! to contact me ASAP

Days Inn service

Arrived at 6:15 pm and needed to be somewhere by 7:00. We (my husband and I) stayed in Room 206 and paid $200 that night for the room. We needed to shower before leaving, however there wasn't a shower curtain in the bathroom. We also noticed a lot of water on the floor and when setting down on the toilet it was rocking sideways a lot. So we figured the water was coming from the toilet. On our way out my husband went by the front desk and told them we needed a shower curtain. So maybe there would be one when we returned. However there still no shower curtain and also a lot more water had leaked from the toilet. When we were getting into bed that night my husband was sleeping on the left hand side and he said the carpet was wet on that side.

So when we left that next morning, I went to the front desk and was telling the clerk about all that had happened the night before and the other things that needed to be checked in that room. She almost did not believe me that they had been told about the missing shower curtain and she wanted to know who he had spoken with. Well he did not get any the name of the person he was speaking with. She was quit rude about the whole situation. So this is my complaint. We cannot believe we paid $200 for the one night and had to put up with so much trouble. We had just gotten back from a trip to Boston and stayed in a Days Inn up there and was very satisfied. We would appreciate some feedback from Days Inn and possibly a refund.

Days Inn hotel stay

My husband booked a room through Booking.com for one night before the Pan Mass Challenge, a 192-mile bike ride for cancer. When we checked in, we were assigned to room 118, which turned out to be a smoking room. The desk clerk told us we requested a smoking room through Booking.com, which we would not have done on purpose. In looking on that site, it looks like you can book a room that's NOT non-smoking if you're not careful.

At first use, the toilet chain broke, making flushing impossible.

In the morning the water was brown with an awful metallic taste. The desk clerk told me that it was well water and was not safe to drink. Huh? Why were we not informed? I drank a small sip the night before and it was fine.

I couldn't check out fast enough, I felt so uncomfortable.

Let preference thus by saying this is not first time this has happened; I never filed a complaint until now. We arrived; the room wasn't ready; yet I made the reservation 4 months in advance. Days Inn harassment / faulty info

On saturday july 29th, I as a paying customer, with multiple other paying customers, witnessed, an assault on a man from a female housekeeper and her son threatening to fight us, being a belligerent drunk, throwing bottles, yelling profusely in the pool area, following my coworker and I were sexually assaulted, still being harassed, we filed a complaint, and witnessed the same housekeeper working the next day when we were assured they had taken care of the problem, theres more, but I wont go that far into it, unless nothing is done about what happened. Days Inn clerk

We got a Jacuzzi sweat. We told the clerk it was our anniversary we never got. The phone rang and as my husband tried to answer the phone he slipped and hit his elbow on the floor and his foot off the corner of the table. He has a bad bruise on his foot and elbow, had barely been able to walk. He has missed work over this. There was also a stain on our sheet. The towel all folded in the bathroom had chocolate slime on it. And as we were leaving I found a sock that wasn't ours. That just shows how well it was cleaned.

Days Inn condition of the rooms

My husband reserved 2 rooms at the Days Inn Staunton, VA, 372 White Hill Road for Friday night, July 12. One room was barely acceptable. It smelled like urine. The other room was absolutely disgusting. One of the beds had DEAD bugs and stained sheets, pillow cases were brown, blankets were dirty. There was no way we were putting our 4 year old granddaughter or anyone else in a bed with dead bugs and filth. So with that 2 adults and a toddler tried to sleep in the other bed. The room smelled awful. The bathroom was dirty - hair in the tub. Smelled like urine. The tub mat was bunched up in the corner. Ripped and stained lamp shades. Basically, the entire room was filthy.
Upon check out the next morning, my husband said something to the attendant at the desk about the condition of the room and the reply was
not customer oriented. The comment - what kind of bug? Wow! Really? Perhaps employees should remember what/who keeps the doors open and allows them to have a job! Maybe they should be reminded - it is the customer.
It's not the way a family should start their time away! What is corporate willing to do? I'd think with something this severe and unacceptable, I'd expect a full refund. Seriously, would you want to pay for filth?
