Deceitful advertising guest safety.
August 31, 2022 using the service of Booking.com I reserved a room at the Days Inn, 9565 Tuckerton Street, Jamaica, NY 11433. The reservation date was September 7th through September 10, 2022. Reservation for Sept. 5. Room was in the process of being renovated. Walls were in poor condition with visible patching of holes in white which contrasted the paint color. A lot of this around the hotel door and bathroom door. What was particularly distressing is that the door and frame were dirty and heavily marred with a heavy black vertical damage "line" across the base of the white door. I have pictures.
I paid $120 for the room and because I was soooo exhausted and had already unpacked, I didn't call the front desk to determine if they had another room in better condition available. Management should have blocked rental of that room until it was finished.

A group of four persons travelled to Chicago, IL to participate in a memorial for a relative who had passed. The persons in question booked two separate rooms at Days Inn near the Greater Walter's A.M.E. Church where the event was to take place. The reservation for the rooms was done by phone. To make a long story short, I thought a business was to have integrity and honor their words. The group of people paid more than what was quoted to them by phone. Furthermore, the group of people had to pay more than the amount in question. It is my understanding that the customer is always right and that the business is to stand on their word, whether this particular Days Inn is company owned or part of a franchise, the quality of service should mean something.
To the owner of this particular establishment, go back to school and learn about integrity, customer service, and management skills. Your establishment is giving The Wyndham Hotel Chain a bad reputation.
Desired outcome: One free night's stay at any Days Inn should be given to The Rose Group who booked two rooms on the 23rd of August. They had to end up staying. So, reimburse the person who booked the room one night's stay.

I am writing in regards to a night’s stay at your Days Inn in Rapid City Sought Dakota. The address is: 725 Jackson Blvd, Rapid City, SD 57702. My hope is to ensure that the your reconsider your pricing and stop price gauging.
On August 10, 2022 I lost my keys to my vehicle while eating at a local pizza place in Rapid City. All attempts to located said key were exhausted and I was forced to stay the night in order to have a key fabricated the next day. We were traveling to Sturgis for the motorcycle rally. I had not choice but to get a room for the night. Luckily there was a days inn within walking distance. There were three of us traveling one who is disabled. It was a chore just waling for the disabled person.
When we arrived at the hotel, I attempted to see what the prices where I was charged over $225.00 for a one nights stay at this shady, horrible awful smelling room. The room smelled of urine and mold. There were only one set of towels in a two-bed room.
I understand the law of supply and demand however $225.00 is an outrageous price for one nights stay. When I asked why the room was so expensive, I was looked down upon me and the gentleman simply responded with Sturgis.
I was highly offended by the answer. Unfortunately, I had no other option except to pay and stay at this hotel. It was truly a horrible experience and I do feel as if I were robbed and taken advantage. The rates charged today are less than $85 a night. I am defiantly never staying at a days in or any of your affiliates. I could have tried a different hotel but none were close enough especially with a disabled person to take around. I am sure that there is nothing you will do, however, I do feel it imperative that someone say something about your pricing and mark ups. It is utter nonsense that you charge that much for a cheap motel. In fact, the motel was as if it should have been charging rooms by the hour.
I hope my compliant is heard and given to your management staff, and global team for review. I will never stay nor recommend days inn or any of your motel affiliates again especially the one located on Jackson Street in Rapid City, SD.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to make my voice and complaint heard.

I really had to choice but to stay here in the heat of the moment. Very sad there were so many others with the same horrile motel as I had.
Breakfast Area not in use, lied to about what it included
The night of July 31, 2022 in Girard, Ohio. The Listing of this Hotel said it had a Continental Breakfast and when asked at the front desk was told it starts at 6 am. When going down for breakfast nothing was set out, even though they had a dining area all ready. When asking the front desk personnel they said it was a grab and go breakfast, a wrapped muffin and granola bar. I was shocked and took a picture of this "breakfast". I asked for the management and was told they come in at 3 pm and could wait and talk to them which is ridiculous when I needed to continue my trip to my son's house.
I was concerned when arriving when our room for 4 people had only towels for two but then the pool area did not have any towels we had to ask the front desk for more. Another concern was the room curtains had holes in it that we noticed when we closed them to change into our suits.
I believe I deserve a refund for at least half of our room rate since I was lied to from the beginning since a continental breakfast is most certainly NOT a muffin and granola bar. Since they charged extra for having 4 people in the room that extra should be refunded as well since they were not prepared for anymore than 2 people.
Desired outcome: Days Inn needs to do a quality check of this location to see for themselves how this location needs an overhaul. A refund for at least the extra they charged for 4 people when in fact they were barely ready for one.

From 08/08/2022 to 08/10/2022 on arrival at 3:45 pm i was given room 419 as we enter the room the air condition making a lot of noise they gave me another room 412 no tv then they gave me rm 328 smoke detector beeping did not take care of it until 1 am request refund bad service. never replace while i was there.

Dirty restroom, non-flushing toilet, stopped tub drain
The restroom floor was filthy and it appeared to be a small bugs as well, there was feces in the toilet prior to our presence, and when I showered the tub was stopped up , the kids did not get to shower. This did occurs on the 28th day of July early morning hours, as we did not get into the room until after 130a.m. This took place at the Days Inn Granbury Texas 76048
Desired outcome: Refund or Credit and for the company to be more aware of problem
Disgusting bathroom
The bathroom at our hotel was terrible. I took a video to show you how dirty and old it was. Also the curtain wouldn't stay shut when I showered. There wasn't enough room to use the bathroom and shut the door. The fan made noise but didn't clean the mirror.
Also the beds were so high, my handicap mother couldn't get in and out without help. It was a very difficult situation. this will only allow me to upload one picture.

We had the worst when we checked into the hotel in McComb Mississippi on [protected]. We've stayed at Days Inn more than once in Brookhaven Mississippi and was pleased with the service we received. So we decided to stay at the one in McComb. The moment we walked into the lobby we should of walked right back out the days. It smelled horrible. Once checked in, the cleck literally gave us the key and proceeded to walk off with out telling us the room number or location. I was legit sleep walking at this point and just wanted to shower and crash. Our room was located in the back off in a dark area. Again.. we was willing to deal with the minor issues. But when we walked into the room my skin started crawling ( pictures included). I was beyond disgusted and after seeing just the bed i called the front desk to ask about switching rooms. The clerk said that with COVID "switching" rooms were not allowed. At that point I requested a refund and again we were told that it was nonrefundable. Again we decided to deal with it because it was just one night. I walked in to the bathroom and saw some dirty panties behind the door along with dirty towels and dirty tissue in the garbage which let me know the rooms hadn't been cleaned. My husband pulled the covers back and there were so many spots on the sheets and cigarette holes. At that point we decided just to sit in our car until daylight. I've never been so disgusted and pissed in my life.

booked this room because I was attending my induction into my Alma Maters Athletic Hall of Fame along with teammates. We were told to use the back door. The back door wasn't locked. We thought maybe they would lock it later in the evening. Turns out it's never locked. You can give it a good yank and you're in. The stairwell was filthy and so was our room. You could see the fingerprints on the head board and other furniture. I wiped the furniture off with a washcloth, it was literally black with dirt. Kids were running in the hallway until about 230a. Thats when someone knocked on the door. I asked who it was. I was told it was the manager and that we were smoking in our room. I told him we were asleep, noone was smoking. He told me to open the door or we would get put out. I told him we weren't going anywhere and to wait until I put on clothes. He countinued to knock as I got dressed. I opened the door and again told him we were asleep and noone was smoking in the room. All of that and he changed his mind about entering the room. He never apologized... noone did. He was very rude, disrespectful and under the influence of something(s). After returning home a family member went to the doctor for itchy bumps on her arm. It was BEDBUGS! I had some on my shoulder and scalp and someone else was also itching. That's 3 out of 4 people! I'm glad we wash all of our clothes, even what we don't wear, once we return home. I'm very disappointed in this hotel especially since it carries the Wyndham name. I would have never guessed how horrible an experience we would have. This trip meant so much to me. If you look UNDER the "3.9 rating" you clearly see "1 star hotel" in very light letters! How is this allowed? I JUST noticed this a moment ago. We trusted the reviews, Booking.com and the Wyndham brand. We were let down by all. Ruined so much!

Room was disgusting, coffee pot was dirty, shower head falling out of wall, bedroom window cant lock, heater falling apart. Wires didnt stay in tv right, not safe at all. My money was taken off my card even though I payed online.. Just ridiculous. Restaurant is only place there that was nice and clean, good workers there as well at the reataurant bar area.

Stopped for the night. First room was smoking room, stinky and filthy. Had to scrub everything including light switches, lamps and tv remote - black. Asked to change room and got an attitude and was told "what do you expect with a smoking room". The other room smelled of mold and dust and was a Filthy dirty room. Someone's gloves were left in the bathroom. Outside dirty too garbage all over. No amenities. Not Days Inn quality and no way worth a $100 for the night.
We were exhausted from driving and had to scrub the room down. It was quiet which was the only redeeming factor. In the morning we saw that it was practically empty.

I did not get much sleep as was shaking and cold in the room as the outside air temp was 35 degrees. I asked for an extra blanket but they did not have one.
I was told to talk to Johnnie the manager but she has not returned the 6 voice mails that I have left. I paid $98.35 and $138.24 respectfully,
If there is not some kind of compensation I will contact my attorney, Parker Stanbury Law Firm out of Los Angeles California. I was travelling with my 82 year old mother and the next morning we had NO hot water for our showers.

Customer service is non-existent
First, I have been at the Days Inn of Buena Park CA 3 nights out of 7 that were prepaid. Never once has any employee asked if everything was ok ir if I needed anything. All that I have experienced was tyrants exercising their authority. One employee will give explicit instructions such as where the smoking area is located and once there another employee will correct me as if I did something wrong.
The amount of attention I receive surmounts to stalking. Every thing I do is under scrutiny. I have one not violated any hotel rules but my observation and sixth sense tells me there will be additional charges for something just to be vindictive.
Not one employee asked me if I needed my room made up or if I need towels or anything.
I can say that the staff is giving me an attitude and it started check in. I arrived at 1230pm and asked for an early check in. I had 3 pieces of luggage and no vehicle. I am a 100% disabled Veteran and 100% Social Security Disabled. I was made to wait out side of the large air conditioned lobby. Not because I would be loitering but because the staff did not want me to witness other customers checking in early. The excuse that there were no rooms available is a lie. Check in day was Tuesday. The hotel still had rooms according to online reservations. Wyndham has a early check in policy but this hotel never obliged me the kindness.
The hotel is in renovations but I have already experienced shortcomings. The sink is not secured and lacking caulk. Very unsanitary. The office desk really got me when I dragged my arm across a screw that fastens a bracket to the leg of the desk is of the wrong length, the point of the screw is exposed on the desk top. That cost me a shirt which is now torn and blood stained not to mention my arm. I made no complaint about any of the shortcomings or poor customer service until now.
I have two possible observations about the staff and corporate. The political environment in Southern California is criminal.
As I have stated I am a Veteran. I am also harassed and stalked by INFRAGARD and FBI FUSION CENTERS thanks to the current corrupt administration because I am a Veteran. That is fact. So either Wyndham Hotels or Days Inn is a sponsor of INFRAGARD and FBI FUSION CENTERS and authorizes my targeting with harassment and rude behavior or corporate is blind to what is really being perpetrated on some hotel guests.
Desired outcome: To receive proper customer service. Reimbursement for shirt that was damaged. Provide luggage dollies for handicapped customers. A free nite stay
Over charged for stay and pet charge
Reservations were made a week in advance for one night stay. They were told we would be traveling with our pet. Money was taken out of our bank account. We decided to stay an extra night. Again the hotel was called for an additional night. When we arrived the room my husband requested would not be ready until the next day, so we took another room for the night. No problem with our pet. Next day we moved into the room requested. Floor was wet in bathroom. After a shower the floor was covered with water from the shower. Our pet was never out of our site. I walked her often. After we checkout and arrived home I checked our bank account and found the hotel had charged us for the one night that we called for reservations plus pet fee $109.79. Also $213.00 for two night stay plus $15.00 pet fee. Plus $250.00, because they said our pet wet on the floor. That is a bald face lie! As of today they have made no attempt to refund for over payment for our stay. We have traveled many places and stayed in a number of hotels/motels with our pet and have never had her accused of messing in a room. Anything you can do to help would be most appreciated.
Desired outcome: Whatever you can do to help to get at least the overcharge for the room.
No hot water, dirty washcloths & air conditioner/heater broken
I checked in on 12/29/21. I took a shower and there was NO HOT WATER. It was after 2am so I was too tired to talk to anyone so went straight to bed. In the middle of the night I was a bit cold so tried to turn in the heat. It wasn't working. The next day I called the front desk and was told to try running the hot water for 15 minutes which I did and still NO HOT WATER. I was exhausted and fell asleep after that. When I woke up I called the front desk. Another worker was there. He apologized and told me to call the general manager the next morning at 9am and I could ask about being compensated and an inspector would be sent in the morning . I called this morning and was told by the initial worker I spoke to that "I never called to let them know". She argued with me and was very rude. She also said the general manager wasn't in til Monday nor any inspectors. At my insistence she called the general manager but never called me back til I called her back after 10am. She shared then that the general manager said he would give me back $25 if I left at 11am even though I inquired about a late checkout at noon. Most hotels have an one hour checkout allowance! So now she said my deposit of $25 wouldn't be returned if I checked out then AND I would only get the additional $25 for the inconvenience the general manager issued if it wasn't by then. THIS IS ALL EXTREMELY OUTRAGEOUS AND $25 WON'T DO. Please help!
