CVS review: Pharmacy requesting new prescription scripts from doctor

I have used the CVS pharmacy on Langsford Rd in Lee's Summit, MO for over 4 years with no issues until this year. Now CVS feels it is OK to contact my doctor to refill prescriptions without contacting me. I even received a call from this pharmacy and told them I did not need prescriptions refilled as I was seeing my doctor in 2 weeks. The very next day I was texted by CVS that there were / prescriptions to pick up. Called the pharmacy but the person who answered didn't seem to care that CVS contacted my doctor to refill prescriptions I did not need. All about collecting insurance payment for filled prescriptions. CVS needs to change their policies CVS pharmacy team continues to contact my doctor to get new prescriptions without my authorization. I have asked CVS not to do this but apparently this is CVS corporate procedure. I am fully capable of managing my prescriptions without the pharmacy getting involved.
