CVS How prescriptions are handled

The last two times I have tried to get prescriptions filled it has been a horrible experience. In both cases I have had to repeatedly call, visit, and text the pharmacy to get what I needed. I have gone for days without the needed medication. The staff has always been polite (location 8940 Coit Road Plano, TX), but the inconvenience and lack of concern and communication is appalling. The most recent incident occurred yesterday. My doctor had phoned in a refill. The location did not have the medication on hand. They failed to tell me that they could send me to another location where I could have it filled asap. When I questioned them on the delay, they said it was a new prescription. I have been on this medication for over a year. I went through a similar situation last year with the same medication and had to delay my departure for vacation to wait on the medication. You need to do better.

Desired outcome: Customers need to be notified within a day if they cannot receive their medication and provided options.

CVS Pharmacy

I have been TRYING to do damage control with CVS for about 1 year now. I THOUGHT w e were in pretty good shape until today.

I got a call from a pharmacist on Ponce De Leon in Decatur today SUNDAY AFTERNOON as I was watching football. She was discussing my medications and should she call the Dr about them. I have already said I am capable of ordering my meds as needed , yet she called and asked if I wanted her to have the Dr order some more medication. My Dr is very accomplished and I don't need some pharmacist who thinks shes a Dr. to remind my Dr or me about my meds. Their records are horribly mistaken and I started to tell her about it. We also very briefly discussed my Buprenorphene meds. Then she very abrubtly said she was very Bz and had to cut me off after she very rudely interrupted my Sunday. I asked if she was short of time , then why did she call me and her records are out of date.

I don't like CVS calling me and don't want her to call again. She has a bit of a foreign accent, maybe she doesn't value Sunday like we Christians.

Desired outcome: Stop calling me to try to make herself look good at my expense. She has called on Sunday before.

CVS Pharmacy manager unprofessional behavior

My physician called on medication - the cvs app notified me of availability to pick up - at 7:45pm - sent me prepaid bar code instructing me to go pick them up and listed an expiration time limit. Arrived at pharmacy - male at computer - I inquired if pharmacy was open or closed and let him know I had just received a message telling me to pick up.

His response was flippant and unprofessional - & dismissive to me: when I let him know I had just received the text to pick up - yeah, so, come back at 8 tomorrow “ I asked his name - woefully he told me he was Andrew - the pharmacy manager - this at store #Store ID: #1086

CVS Prescription Fulfillment

I received a text stating my prescription is ready. I go to CVS 538 Lone Oak Road, Paducah KY 42001 to pick it up. After waiting in a long line because there are already 10 cars in the drive through, they tell me I have to wait 45 minutes as my prescription is not ready and is "pending". So I go back there the next day, after receiving another CVS text, wait in a long line and again told I need to wait 45 minutes. This happens every time I go. It is nothing new. A loyal customer for years and years is now looking for another pharmacy because of the non-existent customer service. The pharmacist and the techs all have the same line, "we are doing the best we can", we can't keep staff in the pharmacy, everyone keeps quitting. As someone who has decades in management, I can tell you this; it is not your employees, it is your management. You decide if that is local or corporate management. Conduct a random survey of your customers and employees of this store. See if I am not right.

CVS Bonus gifts offered to customers

I have been a victim of this scam twice.
It is the bonus gift opportunity to buy something from a variety of discounted gifts.
The gift is never as advertised. The price is never as advertised.
The first time, was a pair of ear buds. The advertised price was supposed to be $ 6.99. When my bank statement came, I was actually charged $ 112.00 plus shipping.
The second was a car vacuum. Same identical scam, advertised as $ 9.99 plus shipping. The actual price was $ 49.99 plus shipping.
I swore I would never use this CVS service again. I have a hard time believing that CVS would allow this to happen if they ever knew. How many complaints like this has CVS had? I'm curious.

I have twice accepted to purchase a discounted bonus gift offered by CVS or their subsidiaries. And twice I have been significantly over charged.

The money is a minor insult.

The offer from CVS's vender is a scam.

I love CVS, but I can honestly say this is the worst experience I've ever had with CVS, or whoever their vendor is. The worst part was losing faith in CVS.

The first incident was for a set of ear buds for $ 12.99, but I was actually charged $ 116.99.

The second incident was for a car vacuum, for 29.99 and I was charged $ 99.99.

CVS Chairs taken away by the pharmacy area

Hicksville, 11801 store on Newbridge Road and old country Road. had chairs for years by the pharmacy area and now it doesn’t many of us are older with problems pertaining to standing, waiting on this endless lines to get prescriptions.

never have enough help is now to a point where I’m looking for a new drugstore .

you have a line of chairs for the shots area

how about giving numbers like a butcher shop so we can sit very unhappy
