CVS - Store lights

CVS store # 8789 — Fluorescent tube ceiling lights. Around 20 are rolling or strobing and have been for many many months. They are real bad for people with epilepsy. Dangerous and should not ever get that bad with so many lights flashing for so long. This needs to be fixed ASAP. If someone has a seizure in the store due to neglect of those lights there could be a lawsuit evolved. This matter needs to be addressed and fixed. >Epilepsy is a disorder of the brain characterized by repeated seizures. A seizure is usually defined as a sudden alteration of behavior due to a temporary change in the electrical functioning of the brain. Normally, the brain continuously generates tiny electrical impulses in an orderly pattern. FIX IT NOW!

Thank you, Alan S Brown

Desired outcome: Please fix all the flashing lights in the store ASAP.

CVS - The pharmacy and pharmacist Taylor

I received a call from the cvs pharmacy, pharmacist taylor (name given by front end store person in charge at the time) this call came in at 17:26.

Taylor immediately began to reprimand me because (according to taylor) I was trying to have my doctor send prescriptions into multiple pharmacies apparently to get more pain medications than I am allowed. While she was leveling her accusations and saying that cvs would no longer be filling any of my future prescriptions any controlled substances, she seemed to have finished, I said wait, wait a second that's not what happened. This is when taylor started yelling and i'm not exaggerating she was yelling at me, saying that "you will not interupt me, I was still talking..." having been yelled at I did raise my voice and said "but you have the wrong information" taylor continued yelling "I said do not talk over me, if you continue disrespecting me and yelling at me, I will not be filling any of your prescriptions, I will not put up with you yelling at me!"

To this point I had not yelled, I had raised my voice but no where near the level that she had, but she has the upper hand as she is making threats about my medications, this is a small town I have recently moved to so there are not a whole lot of options and I have been using cvs for many many years. I apologized and asked her to continue, she repeated exactly what she had said before without adding anything, she paused.

I asked "ok, are you done? May I speak now?" long pause, nothing, I ask again "are you there? Are you done? May I speak now?" I asked a third time "are you still there?" and again I get yelled at not as loud as before but still louder than I was when I had raised my voice "don't be smart, I finished, I had not before when you cut me off"

I said "okay sorry, I didn't call multiple pharmacies, I had the prescription sent to you, I got one filled by cvs, and was told the other 2 were out of stock and would not be in stock until mid to late february so I called my doctors office and explained this and they called around and sent the new prescription to smiths".

Taylor said "they don't do that" then asked "why did the doctors office call to ask what was going on?"

Not wanting to get screamed at for interrupting again, I asked "are you done, can I respond?"

Taylor again low yelling "don't be smart!, I paused indicating it was your turn to talk?"

I said "i'm sorry, I thought you had paused the first time and you apparently had not" I continued "I can't have them send them multiple places, I called them told them that cvs was out of stock on the 2 meds and that there was also some kind of mix up because cvs said there was a note on one of the prescriptions that said it could not be filled until february 22"

Taylor interrupted me to say that "cvs does not add notes to scripts, we just take the information and enter it in the computer"

I did not scream at her for interrupting but I said "I did not say cvs added the note but it was there and I don't think it should be because the last time I got it filled was december 14th, anyway I told them (the doctor) I was out of the pain meds, and needed a prescription filled, I can't wait until mid february, a couple days later I got a call from smiths and they had one of them filled.

Taylor then went off about how I can't get prescriptions filled at several pharmacies and that even if it is all from one, I cannot get the prescriptions filled that the doctor had written that you can't get 2 short acting pain meds...

At this point the basic rules of a normal conversation had broken down on both sides.

I interrupted, and said that one is stronger than the other for when pain is worse, they both say every 4 hours, one says max of 2 a day the other says max of 4 a day and they cannot be taken within 4 hours of one another...

Taylor interrupts, if you are getting 2 short acting opioid then your long acting has not been balanced appropriately and your doctor needs to correct that...

I honestly do not know what was said after that on either of our parts, I do know that at this point we were both yelling
Somewhere in there I pointed out that she started off yelling so loud that other people in the room could hear the entire thing

Taylor replied that there were just 2 other pharmacy employees there and there have been no customers.

I said I was talking about the room I was in (meaning that she was so loud that people in my room could hear her screaming over my phone not on speaker phone)

Taylors response was not we were both yelling or anything like that, her response was"it is not my fault you were in a room where others could hear your conversation"

We both yelled some more, then she hung up on me before I could hang up on her, this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with anyone in a professional or nonprofessional setting.

A note I would like to make is all the prescriptions talked about here were electronically sent from the doctors office, these where not written paper prescriptions, I would have no way of sending any of these prescriptions and it was cvs (I don't believe it was taylor) that told me to call and have a prescription send to another pharmacy, I don't know if there was an error at the doctors office and they did not cancel the first one when they sent the second one. I don't know what the problem was but I know it was not me trying to work the system.

I don't think I would ever consider using any pharmacy that I knew she was working at but I am at a disadvantage, I don't even know what she looks like but she knows who I am based on name and any other information cvs pharmacists have access to.

Desired outcome: I would not like to see Taylor fired, I would never consider using any pharmacy she was working at, I would want an apology, from Taylor, or her manager and any comment that she added to my account removed
