Wendy’s everything

Service was slow and grudging. Tthe 'single' burger was dry, with grease visibly congealed. Fries were inedible, the grease, no longer oil, was nasty.
My husband had to wait 5 minutes while they figured out that he didn't have his sandwich. The counters, floors, tables and seats were not clean, and had I seen this, we'd have left before ordering.

Wendy’s bad suppervirsor attitude, bad service

it was 12/7/08 at 12;27 am, in wendy's restaurant at Azle, Texas store#4022. / bus#[protected]
I had order a mushroom combo and other meals that day for my family. afther i took the first bite my i noticed a weard taste but keep on eathing, i took a second bite and i comfirm that something was bad in the hamburger, i open the hamburger and taste one of the mushrooms by it self and biside a bad smell it tasted rotten. i whent to complain to the supervisor Araceli at that time and i told her the situation, i also stated that the hamburger was bad tasthing. She reply by saying " you probably don't like mushrooms thats why you didn't like it" i reply why will i order a mushroom hamburger if i don't like mushrooms and she gave me a bad look and walk away towards the back. i asked the cashier to give me another hamburger with out the musrooms. Araceli supervisor over heard and instructor to give me a kids size hamburger plane. I was upset at that time as told her i pay $5.79 for my meal and i wanted something equal value to what i had pay for. Aracely surpervisor reply by saying " you had taken two big bittes off you burger so you will get a smaller one. I was more upset at that time and question her, How do i supposed to thaste the burger if i don't take a bite? she walk away and never came back. the cashier was very nice and gave me another hamburger in dispite her supervisor Aracely didn't approved. I don't think people should be in this kind of business whit bad attitude, specially when they at representhing a big hamburger coorporation like Wendy's and being a suppervisor for the store. I m a good customer of wendy's restaurand but this kind of event and service does not want me to go back to wendy's. thank you for your time and hoppe this kind dont repeat it self.

Wendy’s severe food poisoning

Purchased a value meal around 6:00 in the evening. I ate chicken chunks and french fries, but they didn't seem up to temp. Shortly afterwards, I began to develop excruciatingly painful stomach cramps. They came and went in cycles of about ten minutes. They became so severe that I had to go to the ER where I was diagnosed with food poisoning.

If you eat at this Wendy's, make sure your food is up to temp! I'm never eating there again.

Poisoned by the fries. How do I know. I had fries and a frosty for lunch, got home, had a sandwich and soup. Around 3am I started heaving uncontrollably, a burning sensation in my stomach unlike any nausea I'd ever experienced. When I finally did wretch something up, it wasn't the sandwich, the soup, or even the frosty. It was fries. They had stayed in my stomach and been filtered out somehow and were being violently rejected. Woke up every 10 minutes until I finally passed out around 9am. Super cool time, never going to Wendy's again.

Should have known better than to get a teen burger from Wendy's at 11:30 p.m. Was as sick as a dog. The burger was NOT hot but I was hungry and ate it anyway. I have learned a lesson NEVER EAT ANYTHING AT A WENDYS OR ANY FAST FOOD PLACE especially late at night. The food is crap. Probably been sitting around. Thanks Wendy's for making me sick.

I got food poisoning at Wendy's last night. It hit me about 7 hours after I ate there. I was totally dehydrated and had to be rushed to the ER. I felt like I was going to die. I remember thinking that the burger didn't seem very hot when I ate it, but I didn't start eating it until I got home, so I thought it cooled off. I will never eat there again and will advise everyone I know not to eat there. That was one of the worst nights of my life. From what I have found online this is a huge issue with Wendy's. I hope they get shut down.

Wendy’s Awful place

I have had many bad experiences with this company in the past few years. I live very close to this particular location so i use to frequent this rest. often. It seems that every time that you are there, you are there bugging the employees. I have many stories about this location, but I will only write about my last experience, which was about two months ago.

I was getting off from work and decided to get some lunch for myself and my mom, before having to go to my other job. I only had one hour before i had to be there, so i wanted to get something quick and just relax at home. I Was heading home and since this location is right down the street from where I live, I decided to go through the drive-thru.

When I was greeted by the employee, he was being rude. His tone of voce was pushy. I immediately responded to his tone by saying, I need a minute. He asked me again right away if I was ready and I repeated, ' NO! Can i think about what i am going to order?' He didn't respond. When I was finally ready to order I had to repeat my order to the guy THREE Times!

HE was not paying attention to anything that i was saying. I ordered, 2 spicy chicken sandwiches with tomatoes(extra fee) with baked potatoes instead of fries, and to drink i ordered a coke and an iced tea. When i pulled up to the window, i wasn't even greeted by the person. When i get to the other window, i was told that they didn't have any coke.

That they had ran out because they were really busy that day, but that they would have some the next day delivered. I asked for the manager on duty and the guy said, are you serious? Man! He was obviously lying. when she got there she said she wasn't aware that they had no more coke in the store, when she asked the employee about it he yelled at me saying that they were busy but that did have some in the back, but that it would take a while to hook up.

He even had the nerve to tell me to get a different drink. I just looked at the lady and said, i Want my coke. I have worked at restaurants before and i know that it doesn't take 'A while' to hook up a a bag of soda. They are very ride and careless. When i got home to enjoy my meal, i was shocked at the kind of food i had received. Both Chicken sandwiches did not have any tomatoes and when i was about to eat the baked potato it had a long blond hair in it.

I was disgusted and did not bother to go back to the place because I was very mad! I called their 800 number and when i was explaining to the phone rep what had happened she thought it was funny, she took my information and was chuckling the whole time. I told her I wanted a call back from somebody in the company and she said i would get a call back within 48 hours.

Once i got off the phone with the phone rep, i called the restaurant to speak with the store manager. The phone line was busy and when i finally got through, i was told by the same lady, who solved the soda issue, that the manager was not in. When i asked when i could reach them, she said she didn't know. I kept questioning her until she got upset and said i had to call back to catch the manager. To this day, I have not received a call back about this incident.

I even wrote an e-mail to the company. Apparently they don't care about their customers. I have not been to a Wendys ever since and I will never return again. I will spend my money elsewhere. I think the food is disgusting and very low quality products are served here. They need to get new employees that don't look like gangsters and that have at least some sort of education. They need to stop hiring all of the druggies from the community and start hiring people that don't give off negativities.

Kimberly,

I agree, having worked the drive in at several fast food spots in my life. However, I wish that Sonic would repeat the order or ask me to repeat. I would gladly repeat, rather than receive the wrong order.

I went to BK once and ordered and the response came back "376 whopper jr's and 50 whoppers?" No it was 3 whopper jrs and 2 whoppers. I wondered where they got that from? The cashier and I laughed for a long time. Can you imagine the cook's face when she typed in that order? We would have been there all night.

When an employee is rude to me, they get rude right back and a write up from the manager. They usually don't last long on the job. Remember, the customer pays your salary, we are always right (not really, but that's the way to better business)

I want to agree with Farrell. Wendy's is one of the rudest places I have ever seen. I have one near where I work. I usually don't go there, because of the rudeness, but today, it was what was near and I had to get to work. I placed my order and when I got to the window. I pulled out a $10 bill the guy at the cash register, said yea that will do. I thought to myself, how does he know I am not going to give him change to go with it to cover the change part on my bill, because that was what I was planning on doing. I reached in my drink holder on my blazer and pulled out 2 cents to go with my $10 bill. He practically shoved my $4.00 back at me for my change. So, I was just putting my $4.00 back in my wallet when I heard him holler to someone in Wendy's saying, I can't make them move up. When he said that it hit me wrong. I looked at him and I said that is right. I said you all need to quit being so rude. I got to the second window and the lady almost throwed my food at me with my drink. She barely said thank you, which I was surprised, because they usually say nothing. I said you all don't have to rush people like that. Now, don't get me wrong, I am just like anyone else, I want a drive thru to move along, but at least give people a chance to get their change back and don't throw their food at them. I do not hold up lines. I am one that likes to move fast thru the line, but there is such a thing as being rude and shoving things at people. I don't intend on going back to Wendy's anyime soon. They don't care how they treat their customers. They can close down for all I care.

There is a McDonalds near me and they move their drive thru fast and they are never rude to me. They are always so nice to me. Wendy's you can learn something, you can be nice and productive without being rude.

Wendy’s very poor service & management

Today a manager allowed an employee to walk away from me without serving me because I had reported her for bad service. You don't give customers bad soda over and over again then stop serving them everytime they come back. Last staw! I requested a refill and the employee walked away and asked the manager (Stacey) to help me. The manager would not tell me why the employee would not serve me and I told her that that was bad customer service and employees should not be allowed to disregard a request made by a customer. The manager even had an attitude with me. With things the way they are, how can a company afford to lose a customer?

Wendy’s food/employees

Visiting the Wendys in Green Bay WI is horrible. The employees working there look like they have never heard of a washing machine or hygiene. There hair color is from orange to purple to pink. They all walk around like they have no clue on what is happening! You order a sandwich & 9 out of 10 times it is the wrong one. The dining area is filthy! There usually is no one dining inside but every table is dirty & the floor is gross! If every Wendy's is like this I think they should all be shut down! From reading all the complaints I can't believe there are still Wendy's open.

You can't order sandwiches there, they only serve burgers...and there's absolutely nothing wrong with hair dye, if anything, that should promote they would have better hygiene than if they had natural colors. What a lame complaint.

Wendy’s terrible service

This week in Pittsberg, PA your restaurant near my closest town was giving away hamburgers as a taste test. The three of us got in line to get our sample. The line was long as every begger wanted a free meal. The difference between them and myself was I am a paying customer from the past. I am a registered nurse I make 90k a year and I don't know why I had to wait line when I can probably spend more money in their restaurant than the other regular every day people waiting in line.

My daughter and I got our burgers. We went to sit down because they had to make a new batch for my son since the already ran out. This took a good five minutes. I would normally have complained about this but since I already had my meal I decided to let it slide even though they were starving a ten year old by making him wait another five minutes.

My son came to the table without his burger and I asked him what happened. He told me that he wanted a double hamburger with cheese. (He was really hungry, his deadbeat father only fed him cereal for breakfast and rice and broccoli for lunch. He only ate the rice since he hates broccoli which my husband insists he ate if he wanted his dessert. My son refused to eat the broccoli so my deadbeat husband refused to let him have ice cream. Anyways to make a long story short because my husband practically starved my son he was really hungry and wanted a double hamburger with cheese. He said that they only gave a single patty for free and asked for money to get the burger he wanted. I immediately went to the counter. I asked which person was serving him. He pointed. I went up to that person and started telling her my concern when she told me to get in line. She was serving a customer. I admit I interrupted them however I was very angry at the way my son was treated. Then the customer got angry at me and told me he was not finished yet. I told him that I was a registered nurse and I make more money than him and he has no right to be mean to me just because he is jealous of how much money I make. Then the person behind him saw that I was angry and let me voice my concern. I am not racist but the person that allowed me to go through was white and the person that got angry at me was black. He is prejudice and thought I was being rude to him only because of his skin color. I was not, I was just trying to get my son the burger he wanted.

I explained the situation to the cashier. I told her that my son wanted a double burger with cheese. She was very angry and talked down to me. (I make three times as much money as her and she talked down to me.) She told me that only the hamburger's were free if I wanted double the patty and the cheese with it I would have to pay the regular price. I asked to speak with a supervisor. A woman by the name Rachel(probably Jewish from her name) came up to me and said that only the hamburger was free. I told her this was ridiculous, that Wendy's makes millions a year and they can't even add a an extra patty and a slice of cheese for a hungry boy malnourished my his father. She told me that I have three choices. I can either get the free hamburger for my son, pay for the burger that he wanted or take nothing. I took my son aside for a second and he said that he wanted two hamburgers for because he was hungry. At this point he was really upset he asked my why I did not just pay for the double hamburger with cheese and even offered to pay me back. I told him it was a matter of principle. I explained to him very softly that Rachel was being a cheap Jew, and that while I can afford the double hamburger with cheese for him I was not going to let the incompetent cashier and manager push me around and they are being very difficult in not adding an extra patty and slice of cheese for one hungry boy. When he found out that he was not getting the kind of burger he wanted he was very upset and did not want anything. I had to eat his hamburger because he refused to eat. While I was busy trying to make some sense into this situation my daughter had already finished her hamburger and had to watch me eat mine which I only half ate and my son's which he did not want because Rachel the incompetent manager put him in a bad mood. I did not even get an apology for the inconvenience that this has caused my son, daughter and myself.

I make 90k a year and can spend a lot of money in your store. You won't be seeing a dime until I get a $25 gift card for the inconvenience that you have caused me and my son. It does not have to be $25 it can be just a coupon for a free value meal as long as it is something I really don't care. You caused my children and myself a great inconvenience by not giving my son what he wanted and by making us stand in line with the regular everyday people who probably only make half or one third as much money as I do. Stop running your business like a bunch of cheap Jews. I myself have worked at Mcdonalds and have earned my living, and until your employees do the same they should treat people better off then them better.

Went thru drive Thru today at 1:05pm (Reg 4, 2010-03-16, 1:05pm, [protected] 4 4052, 17816 108th Ave SE Renton WA 98058) I live a mile from here so am familiar with poor service on a continuing basis from this site, I am aWendys customer so I keep hoping my calls and feedback will make a change.

Today, ordered a triple meal #3 with chili instead of fries and 4 chicken nuggets.

I left and headed to my destination, I reached in a bag and came out with chili, they placed the chili container on it's side nest to the hamburger in bottom of bag, the lid had come open and bottom of bag was leaking chili. I stopped and pulled into a parking lot, below the chili and hamburger was my straw, bent and flattened. there were 2 napkins but they were already covered with chili. In the other bag was 4 chicken nuggets and 2 napkins along with 4 sweet/sour sauces. I had asked for barbeque sauce. The nuggest were not warm but cold, all of them. Also in the bag were 2 napkins, no spoon for chili or crackers for chili. Person taking order had problem understanding English so I repeated everything at speaker and window. Today’s experience was the final straw, and I have gone out of my way to give them feedback and never asked for anything in return other than fixing the problem. Last time my hamburger had one less meat patty than ordered, food is rarely hot and forget the fries, soggy. How Wendy's can allow the service at this facility to continue is beyond me, I hear the same comment from other people in the area...HELP DAVE!

I remember when Wendy’s had to hire off duty police officers to control the traffic during lunch hour, and they wore buttons that said Hot and Juicy….now it should be Cold and Old!

I went to the Wendys on Wilson in Ontario, Canada and the female at the window ( around 10:30) asked why i was laughing and told me to stop laughing and that i wasn't funny. She asked " what's the joke?" and told me " i have the right to refuse service " because i was laughing with my friends ... she then asked me " are you high?" and told me to never come back again... i don't think i would ever want to after that .. so i went around to find the manager. I asked at tim hortons what the manager looked like and the description was " big and black" so i went and saw him outside talking to a group of friends in the parking lot. I told him wat had just happened and he said " so wat's the problem?" and i said " it's terrible service" and he said " ok? so wat do you want me to do?" and i said " i don't know whatever you want to i guess.. you're the manager" and he said " wat if i said i wasn't the manager?" and i had no answer... I've never been so pissed off at terrible service. I work at east side marios and if i ever did anything close to that ESPECIALLY AS A MANAGER i would be fired on the spot.. and this is not the only complaint i've heard from this wendys about this same depressed woman working the window. She treats anyone that goes through there like ###. However, this isn't the end of my story. As i drove away from this wendys the manager flipped me the bird along with his group of friends of whom he allowed to criticize me as well!

so you assume a double cheeseburger should cost the same as a hamburger...and assume you make more money than all the black people at wendys...

newsflash: only poor people [censor] about paying extra for extra food.

when i go out with my husband, and we order food at a restaurant, we expect to be charged extra if we ask for extra.

90k a year aint [censor]. You are a professional diaper changer-I wouldn't brag about being a nurse..all you do is deal with old people and bed sores and compacted colons all day. Sure, you do other things, just like the people at wendys do more than flip burgers and hand out bags of food.still, i'd rather work fast food than be a nurse, especially after working at a nursing home for 2 weeks with my CNA license, so get off your high horse.

I never take my kid to fast food, and if I do, I take him to wendys and get him the mandarin oranges or a baked potato. Stop feeding your kid junk-no wonder he is starving after 5 minutes. My kid never starves, I make sure to feed him three times a day.

What is an uppity nurse doing married to a deadbeat anyways?my husband is amazing.

You are a racist. Cheap Jews? Sounds racist to me. And nobody gives a [censor] what you make for a living. NOBODY. You make so much but you get pissed because you're gonna have to deal out a little cash to get your "malnourished" son a burger? He is NOT malnourished. He had a healthy meal, and being denied icecream because he didn't finish his vegetables, that's just good parenting. Kudos to his Dad. And you stupid [censor], need to learn that just because you make more money than some, that doesn't make you God. You're an idiot. To think you're better than everyone else because of how much you make. My husband works in the medical field, and he doesn't make as much as you. Know why? He's in the Army. Making way less pay than he deserves so ignorant [censor]es like yourself can decide to get pissed over a damn burger. They have rules they have to abide by. The rule was more than one patty you pay. Just because you think you're better than everyone doesn't make you "special" if anything it makes you a selfish [censor] who is one of the lowest forms of human life. All men are created equal. Mean anything to you? Obviously not. You're just ignorant. And you don't deserve [censor] from anyone. If I would have been the "cheap Jew" manager, I would have thrown your self righteous [censor] out of my store. I hate you. Just from this and not even knowing you as a person (although if this is the way you act I do NOT want to know you) I hate you. You're a [censor], and I sincerely hope that you get back on here and read these comments and realize what a [censor] person you really are.

You are a friggin [censor] and it's no wonder your ex dumped you and is stiffing you for child care. If you look any thing like you write I'd bet your a fat pig. I bet you go through life thinking every one owes you a hand out.
I think the kid eats just fine and he should go live with his Dad so he does not turn out like the pile of crap you are. If you were a good mom you wouldn't feed the kid that fast food crap, at least the old man fed him vegies, I don't suppose you know what they are, "real food" not the crap the serve at fast food joints
Did I mention you are a Friggin [censor]!

You'll get your own one day...

This review was awesome. I can't believe all these people that are mad about it. The review is obviously made up. A wonderfully written, and fake review. "I explained to him very softly that Rachel was being a cheap Jew, " holy crap, I am still laughing about that line.

You have got to be the same psycho that wrote in about another fast food company, saying blacks were theives because they stole your nickel. I pity your children for having to put up with you. You are a self-centered, egotistical snot who deserves to be put in her place. If you make so much money, why don't you try eating at home instead of whining about all these fast food places? Grow up, get a life and get over yourself!

Wendy’s drive thru missing items

First, they took the order incorrectly. Before I paid I asked for it be repeated and they were missing 3 items. Then when I finally got the food they forgot 2 of my sandwiches. I had to drive all the way back and I called first so the order would be corrected quickly. I made the mistake of taking the food in with me to prove to them that I was missing items and the manager took the order and threw it away. I was just trying to be honest by showing him that it was missing. He them proceeded to take for ever to refill the order. Then when he gave it to me he barely said sorry and when I rechecked the order before I left I was missing 3 orders of fried. Then I had to wait even longer to get them. There was no apology and no effort to make amends by offering me anything for my time and inconvenience. The whole process took an additional 30 minutes. While I waiting for my order there was another man that came in from the drive thru and they gave him his order immediately. He was the same color as the man working the back. I was not. Anyway while I was watching my order and others being made I noticed that about 1/2 of the 8 people behind the counter and handling the food had gloves on. Very poor service!

Oh shut the ### up. I work at a wendy's and it's not all that easy as you think. First off, we have to deal with ignorant ### coustomers all day and I don't know how you expect us to be in a good mood. And about your whole order taking situation, when we aren't taking orders, we are doing dishes. Most people aren't ready to order so we say "Hi, can I take your order please?" and then we continue doing dishes. Sorry if you are actually ready to order and we miss a few things. But yeah you are right about the whole missing sandwhiches. We are only human, we make mistakes, okay? Now your next problem, the manager threw away your food. 99% of people that claim they are missing food, are really not. They just wanna keep the food and get more, that's why he threw it away. And half the time we know that we gave you the complete order. And I'm sooo very sorry that he took forever to fill your order when there are some people that like to have huge orders like 10 stacks, 10 jr. bacons, 10 crispy chickens, 5 large fries, 7 5-piece crispy chicken nuggets, and 5 chocolate frosty's. And in the meantime, we are dropping baskets of fries, and chicken, getting potatoes, changing the chilli pots, making buns, or making bacon so that you can have your ###ing meal. And on top of that the [censored] manager only has maybe 6 people working. And the whole racist comment about the guy that came through the drive thru, maybe he had a different order, maybe they were waiting on your chicken, or your meat, depending on your sandwhich. And the whole glove thing, you are only required to wear gloves when your making sandwhiches, dropping chicken, or making salads. So I'm so very sorry that you can't understand the stress levels and what we go through at Wendy's. I hope you never come back. Kay? So think about that the next time you walk into a fast food restraunt or go through the drive thru you stupid ###.

To call the people working in the restraunt idiots strikes me as ironic. Your grasp of the structure of your native language is pathetic at best. Grammar aside your word choice and the ideas you express conjure up images of a caveman sitting at a computer.

Wendy’s food quality gone downhill!!!

My kids and I have always enjoyed Wendy's in the past, but eat out very rarely. We hadn't been to Wendy's in about 6 months. We were shocked yesterday when my son ordered a baconator which was tiny and nothing on it but 2 tiny thin slices of bacon he had to open the bun and hunt for. I ordered a double cheeseburger and it was the size of a white castle burger. What is the deal? I ordered an iced tea and they fill the cup to the TOP with ice...add a little iced tea til the ice goes down...and SHOVEL more ice on TOP...is there ANY iced tea in that damn cup? I was so disappointed. I know money is tight these days but it isn't fair to cheat customers.

Ok, The Iced Tea is brewed hot so we put all that Ice in it so it is ICED Tea. Second They gave you a Jr. Bacon not the baconator and a double stack not the double cheeseburger both of which are 99 cents. Despite the fact your order was screwed up, the baconator and the double cheeseburger are both 1/2 pound burgers..

The reason they fill the cup with ice is because the tea is made fresh and tea that is made fresh is brewed with hot water. When the hot tea hits the ice, it simply adds more water to the tea which is what tea is made out of anyway. Relax...Enjoy the day for crying out loud!

Wendy’s sticky, dirty tables, chairs, salt/pepper shakers

A group of eighteen friends go out to a fast food place after church on Sunday night. We went to a Wendy's on Coloniel Glenn Rd . Little Rock, and honestly the chairs, tables, salt/pepper shakers were so sticky all over it was terrible.. When you touched a chair, put your hand on the table to move it or just touched the salt/pepper shaker to use they were so sticky you needed to wash your hands before eating. Two of the ladies ask for a rag to wipe the tables and were given one. The workers didnt offer to clean the tables or anything. The workers looked clean and neat and the food was tasty, but it would be nice to sit at clean not sticky tables and chairs. It was like grease on the outside of a skillet that hasn't been washed with warm soapy water to remove the sticky. Needless to say we will mark that one of our list unless we hear they have done some detail cleaning.

That's pretty gross. I worked at a Wendy's for my first job years ago as a cashier and it was part of my job to wipe tables and clean up a little bit like every hour or so unless I had a huge line of people. Someone is definitely not doing their job.

Wendy’s wrongful disipline

My son Kevin Foley has been working at Wendy's here in Fort Erie for a couple of years now. On Friday August 29th Kevin was scheduled to work at 4pm, he had gone camping with his dad... although i don't agree with all the things my x-husband does; I am unable to control him. He told Kevin that they would not be home in time for him to start his shift, nor would he be home to start Saturday or Sundays shift. Kevin sent me a text stating the above info... and asked me to call Wendy's and let them know... he had no time on his cell phone to call himself. When I called .. the woman said she was the manager, she said that if he didn't call himself that he would be written up. I let her know that I was his mother and he is a minor, also.. that I have called in sick for him too. My son bends over backwards for Wendy's, he does what he is asked and does everything he is supposed to. Now... apparently he has been written up 3 times which gives them the right to fire him... am I to understand that this is ok? If so ... teens should not be in the working field, it is much to depressing for them.

Yours sincerely

Paula Laffin

Wendy’s bad food & service

Even though wendy's calls dublin, ohio, home and does a lot of corporate waste in the metro-columbus, ohio area? This was the last time I go to wendy's! And, I have no qualms what so ever about telling friends, family and co-workers to save their money and go any where but wendy's! And I live less than a mile from where today's fun adventure started!

My "experience" started with me pulling my car to the order speaker, (There was one car ahead of me and one behind me and maybe 2 or 3 cars in the parking lot — hardly what i'd consider busy at 1:26:07 pm!) knowing what I wanted and the order taker's ever so polite and warm greeting of "so, you gonna order or what?" next, when I went to pay and had the same "gentleman" yell, "I don't do dishes!" rather than thank me as he handed me my change. At the next window, I was handed a small bag, and as I peered in I noticed no straw, and then turned back to the window where the young "lady" was shoving my drink into my car. I took the drink, opened the lid and noticed that this was not what I had ordered. (I've learned to check when ordering ice tea and asking for lemon!) I handed the drink back and said that not only wasn't there any lemon, there was barely any ice. Her response was they were "out" of lemon? And then I watched her try and shovel a scoop of ice into a full drink. (Doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that all this was going to do was displace some liquid.) she handed me back a dripping and dribbling cup, and I shook my head in amazement as she then wanted to debate the point why I needed extra napkins? (Oh, I also had to show her the bag to convince her that I didn't have a straw! Thanks cynthia!)

When I got home? My single with just onions and ketchup? If you guessed this wasn't what I got? You'd win the prize! I got a sandwich dripping with mayo, mustard, pickles, a small piece of lettuce, a tomato and yes, there was an onion and a gallon of ketchup! The fried were ice cold in what hardly constituted a full container!

You bet I called! I was told at first, call back the manager was too busy to take a call? I stuck to my guns and ended up with a woman who was going to "tell me" about "my" experience? Shock and surprise when she told me to stop yelling, even though I maintained a very neutral tone in a normal speaking voice through out our "conversation" and when this was pointed out to her? Her response was that she could "now" understand me? And her response to my "great experience"? She offered me the free meal, and then hung up on me! So I suppose. Anyone can go to this store and say that they'd called in about a meal that was screwed up on sunday august 31, 2008 around 1pm, and get a free meal?

Guess I try and get a hold of the hudson street columbus ohio gm (Who according to my sales slip is tim schoondard from store #112) and give him a chance to explain his staff's less than stellar customer service and why on a long weekend, his produce order did not anticipate customers ordering ice tea and asking for lemon with their tea? And then there's the issue of the slop on a bun. One would think that if the customer doesn't want the tomato and other goop, that there would be this policy somewhere that would connect the dots from less stuff translates to saving the company a penny or two here and there will add up and reduce waste? I guess that is another one of the contributing factors on why wendy's has slipped in sales and why they were just bought out! (We won't even factor in how poor customer service has contributed to their fall!)

I hate these happy people that allow businesses to continue to offer poor products and services by just forgiving. Good job for sticking to your guns and demanding to be treated with respect, as well as your right to a quality product in exchange for your hard earned money. I had a similar experience with Wendy's today and I applaud you.

I don't eat at Wendy's, or work at Wendy's, or know anyone that does work at Wendy's.. But everybody makes mistakes. It's not good that they messed up your order, but I could imagine working at a public service for a few hours. Can't you? Think about it:

You have been working at Wendy's since 8 a.m. this morning. You're working at the drive-through speaker; you've had to deal with people that had quiet voices; or people that keep changing their minds on their orders; or just rude people in general. You really have to go to the bathroom, but you haven't had your break quite yet, you still have to wait an hour or two. You think about how you just want to be with your family or friends, but you know you have to get paid for something. The heat coming from the kitchen is making you sweaty and impaitent. You make a few mistakes on ONE order; and you're completely blamed.

Everyone can get a temper, everyone makes mistakes, nobody is perfect.
They try their hardest, and try to make Wendy's enjoyable for you, so you'll eat there again. Is it so hard just to forgive and forget?

Wendy’s by employee

I am an employee, well use to be an employee of Wendys for about a year. From August 2007 up to the 22nd of August 2008. Wendys was unfair to their employees at the location on Rosevelt blvd. . Ramsy Development closed down the store location and never let any of their employees know till the day they were closeing down. We had no warning and no means to plan for what was going to happen. They promised us all a place to go to one of their other locations, but it still has not happened for me yet. I was use to working 5 days a week. The they had the nerve to tell me that they could give no mor then maybe 2 days week. Mind you we get paid bi-weekly. I have 3 children in which I take care of by myself. I have bills, car ins., gas.school activities for my 8 year old, babysitting, and how bad the economy is right now with all there prices of everything being so high now. When I did try to have this matter resolved with the direct manager (Victor). Victor told me not to call his office anymore. Ramsy development did not care about 3 shifts af people. A night crew and a day crew. We as employees and people have been over looked. As if we did not matter to them. Now I am looking for a new job when I had a perfectly good one. Someone, anyone, if you believe in the rights of all people and you read this...I deserve to be able to keep my hrs. and my job to support my family. The Ramsy Development company of Wendys has failed to let me be able to survive this hard time our economy is going through. As a single mother I am reaching out to help from one human being to another. Thank You!

Wendy’s out of many food items

How is it that I would order a #9- 10 pc chicken nugget meal, they tell me they are out of nuggets and fries. I chose a #4 next, the baconator and a salad because they don't have fries and a hand spun shake... Guess what they were out of vanilla frosty's so they couldn't make the shake. The salad was frozen and the soda I got was watered down. I wanted to kill someone when I ate my sandwich, they didn't have or didn't put mayo on it and they used SHREDDED CHEESY... on a burger. What the hell, how can this run as a Wendy's? They were out of fries, nuggets, mayo?, cheese, frosty's which includes the shakes and floats.. I am afraid to ask what else they were out of, I threw that crap out and went to McDonalds. Avoid Iron Mountain Wendy's...

Wendy's Mediterranean salad lists "hummus", which is completely false. The salad contains chick peas/garbanzo beans, used to make the dip hummus. It's like saying the salad contained guacamole, when in fact it only contained avocados!
Hummus is made of olive oil, garlic, lemon juice AND chick peas beans. You look like IDIOTS!

This is twice now that I purchased food at Wendy's and the receipt and my check visa charge do NOT match. They are scamming people by charging more than the actual amount. It may be only $1.00 or so but be CAREFUL and keep your receipt to compare against the charged amount. This is the Wendy's located in Russett.

The manager working the Sunday evening shift permitted a lady to sell puppies in the parking lot. The lady set up a small fence for the puppies, her lawn chair, & a large sign and kicked back in her lawn chair and enjoyed her cigarettes while the puppies sat in the hot sun waiting for a buyer with cash to come by and get them. This was very unethical to say the least!

I went through the wendy's drive thru and ordered 2 classic tripple stacks. When I got my order I was given a tripple 3/4 pound cheesburger. When I advised the cashier of the mistake I was advised that they do not sell the triple classics anymore. When I returned home I accessed the wendy's website and found that they advertise the triple stack online $1.99 a piece vs $4.79 for one.

Wendy’s food issues

Sunday, we went through the drive through at the Soddy Daisy, TN Wendys. We ordered and had to wait for my husbands chicken sandwich. When we got home, we fed the girls and ate our sandwiches. My husband grabbed one of the extra nuggets out of the bag and popped it in his mouth. My girls wanted a few more nuggets so I got the rest of the nuggets out of the bag.

On the top nugget there was something on it. I took the nugget out and there was still a feather sticking out of it, actually baked/ fried into the batter so that it was still hooked to it. I was disgusted! Surely, if the company had the right inspectors/ health policies, someone would have noticed a whole feather sticking out of a chicken nugget! By the time it reached my hand, how many people looked at that nugget and "didn't" realize it?

I have had several bad issues with food lately, and I am so tired of it. It is food that the entire nation is eating and no one wants to do things right and health safe. When will people realize we need to be watchful of what is going on with our food products?

Wendy’s poor service

When I ordered my salad, the chicken was not grilled, so I ask the woman behind the counter if I can have my grilled chicken instead of fried. (First of all they did not ask me if I wanted fried and 2nd is that the picture in the place has a grilled chicken on the salad so that was why I didnt tell her grilled. I came in Wendy's before and I ordered the same salad and the chicken I got was grilled without having to tell them.)
Well the Person that I talked to was not nice and very hateful. She gave my a salad and I went to my seat but I looked at my salad and their was still fried skin on it and I think it is unprofessional for her not to give me just another salad. So I went back up their to the counter and told her about the salad still having fried skin on it, well she rolled her eyes and made a grunt where I could here it. She was talking about me, because all the other workers in the back was looking at me when she was talking to them.

Wendy’s Slow and unfriendly service

Last week after shopping my family and I decided to go though the drive though at our local Wendy's. When we arrived at the drive though there was only four cars ahead of us and I figured this wouldn't be bad. Well, twenty some minutes later we finally made it to the window. Our order was only four chicken nuggets and three small chilli not too hard, but now we sat there for over five minutes. Nobody stuck there head out and even asked for the total amount owed, I could under stand if they said sorry for the wait but we are just waiting on X. They totally ignored us and as a customer it really seemed like there attitude was, we will get to you when we want. I emailed the company web site to tell about our experience last week and asked to be contacted but have never heard back. I guess this is where the attitude on customer service starts. I feel that we are just one customer and Wendy's corp. has business to ignore people like us! There are far too many other option for dinning than a bad Wendy's!

Wendy’s bad service, wrong food, bad attitude

They almost always forget to give you something in your drive thru order, even when asking them direct for it. If you ask for ketchup for your fries, they give you attitude and dirty looks. If you don't check your order before driving away, there is always somthing missing you paid for. This was over a several month time period before I gave up on their lousy service. Fresh Burgers... YA RIGHT, burnt food, cold hard fries. Talk to the manager and he could care less. Conveniently, Wendy's website has no way to file complaints. Hopefully now that Arby's has bought them out, they will improve some. HOPEFULLY! I'll go back to McDonalds.

Hopefully now that Arby's has bought them out, they will improve some. HOPEFULLY! I'll go back to McDonalds.

The thing I never understand about customers is that no matter how badly they've been treated, they continue going back to the store.
Try some other place, I'm sure it'll be better.
