[Resolved] Suntrust Giftcard / unable to get amount on card

my son received card for last christmas. card was miplaced and now found. when i call to verify amount, tey won't give me any information on the account. This is after trying for 20 minutes to get a real person on the phone!

    Customer care service did everything in their power to resolve this complaint. All attempts to contact the complainant have failed. Therefore, this complaint has been annulled and must not be considered where image of the company in question and it's services are concerned.

    Hi, SunTrust here. We're sorry to hear that you're frustrated. Can you specify what date/time you were calling? You can also visit - in order to obtain your balance you will need to activate and register it on the website.

    FYI, They wont speak to you once the card is registered to someone else. That is their security policy. As stupid as it seems, they have to follow rules. As far as what their sales reps do, theyre the ###ing [censored]es! and the CSR reps have to do their dirty work and be the bearer of many bad news.
