Shell no longer accepting shell credit card

I have been using the same Shell Station for years and then all of the sudden, a few weeks ago, they advise they no longer take the Shell credit card. How is that possible? Is there a reason for that? The attendants won't answer the question. I will now apply for another competitor's card to give my business and no longer use Shell. All I am looking for is an explanation.

Thank you

Unfortunately I couldn't find out why, but a quick search did show that they have been doing this slowly over the past few years.

Shell receipts for gas constantly sent to the wrong email address

Receipts for gas purchases as Shell stations and at Seasons stores are being emails to [protected]@psh.com. That is the wrong email address. I have been taking steps to alert Shell, Shell credit cards and Fuel Rewards about my NEW email address ([protected]@gmail.com) since mid-December 2016 with no success. I have had numerous telephone calls with customer service people and supervisors from Fuel Rewards, Shell credit cards (I believe it is Citibank that manages the Shell credit card that I have) and from Shell Corporate offices. The people at Fuel Rewards say "it's not coming from us -- we have the correct email address ([protected]@gmail.com); the people at Shell Credit Cards (Citibank) say "it's not us -- we have the correct email address ([protected]@gmail.com), and the people at Corporate say "it's not us". I don't know where to turn. I have attached the receipt that was emailed this morning (2/7/17) to my OLD email address ([protected]@psh.com). As of 2-9-17, I will no longer be using [protected]@psh.com -- this is why I want Shell to stop sending my receipts to [protected]@psh.com. I want my receipts to go to [protected]@gmail.com If Shell can't take care of this (and I've been trying to change the email address since 12-16-16), I am going to stop using Shell for gas and for items at the Seasons store. I'm also going to stop using my Shell credit card. Check out my account -- I always pay my bill on time.

Shell shell 91 v-plus fuel

I almost always purchase my 91 octane gas from the same gas station. Today, I was told by my tuner that it appears my car is running on 89 octane fuel. I believe this station made a big mistake or they are intentionally selling mis-labeled fuel. This could potentially be very damaging to many vehicles. It is the White Oak Station on Dixieland in Rogers, Arkansas.

Shell shell at spirit mountain casino oregon

The clerk at 4:00pm on February 4th one aloud someone who was intoxicated to buy alcohol. And then I told him $50 on my debit card with my .50 off and he gave me $15.00. I have a 35 gallon tank. I'm extremely upset about both situations. I was always a shell customer until today. Bought my diesel there everyday, not after today. I'm done with shell! He wouldn't make it right and had no clue.

Shell touchless car wash damage

I was at a shell in Burlington and the arm that the touch less car wash utilizes decided to hit my car on the driver side door. I've asked for reimbursement from the gas station and they refused. They told me to get a lawyer and that they don't have time to waste. I pretty much stopped going to shell for car washes after that, and I hope some higher position can reimburse me for my damages. I also have proof with a video.

Shell the water in the windshield wand squeegee bin

I stopped at the Shell station in Allen Texas to fill my tank and get a carwash. I needed to pre-treat my windshield and removed the sqeegee from the bucket and started applying it and I was almost struck down by the rancid and pudrid smell that was now splashed on me and my car! I had to immediately go home and shower and change clothes and actually went to a spray carwash to get that smell off my car! I posted this experience on my Facebook and had at least 7 people say the same had happened at various Shell stations in the area!

Shell rude employee

First I would just like to say that I normally do not make any type of formal complaints and I especially do not go to any great lengths to make a complaint about someone, however, this employee was so rude that is why I am making this complaint.
On February 2nd 2017 at around 3:45 a.m. I visited the Shell gas station in Canal Winchester/Columbus Ohio at the intersection of Refugee and Gender Road, and during this visit I encountered a very rude employee! When I walked inside the doors the employee was mopping the floors and she asked me which way I would be walking and I told her I was going over to wear the refrigerated items such as soda are kept. After I told her that is where I was headed she rolled her eyes and I could tell that she was very upset that I was going to be walking over there, I am assuming that she had just mopped that section, and that is why she was so clearly upset that I was going to be walking in that direction. After I got the items that I was going to purchase I went up to the cash register where she was and even though I had nothing to apologize for, I apologized to her saying that I hope that I did not make a mess with my footprints where she had just mopped and she rolled her eyes and said "whatever". she then in a rude manor asked me if there was anything else I was going to get, which I told her that I needed a pack of cigarettes and some gas for my car. The entire time that I was telling her what I needed she made me feel like it was a complete imposistion for her to have take care of me. As I was paying for my items I saw that another car was pulling into the parking lot and she looked at the car and said "Man I am not going to be able to get any work done tonight!" I personally found this comment somewhat comical because I think that taking care of customers is a part of doing your job. Everything's about my experience with this employee was horrible! I have gone to that location many many times and I almost do not ever want to go back to that location because of how rude she was! As a paying customer I do not like to feel like me being there is such a complete imposistion. In my opinion it should not be an imposition to take care of customers, that is the most important part of almost any job is customer service. I don't know what this girl's name was, I wish that I did so that I could put her name on here, but whoever she is, she seriously needs to learn how to take care of customers and she definitely needs to stop with her attitude and to stop being so rude especially when there was no reason for her to be rude! Had I went in there with a complete attitude then I could understand why she would have been rude to me however even then I think that an employee still should not be rude to a customer, however in this situation I did not have any kind of attitude.

Shell local shell station-eagle river, alaska

Let me begin by saying that I hope that when there is a complaint regarding a local station such is the one listed above, there is still some way of addressing the complaint board which will then get back to the local station owner to address the problem.

In the early evening of January 25, my wife and I decided that her car needed gas and the Shell station in Eagle River Alaska was right next to the restaurant where we had just enjoyed a lovely dinner. I should state that I am Hispanic with black ancestry and therefore an adult male of color. I should also state that I am a very well thought of and recognized leader in my field as a physician and surgeon serving not only the local community but also other states where I often lecture on my specialty. While my wife got her car I walk over to the gas station to begin setting up the pump where my wife would be getting gas. we have a club membership, Fred Meyer, that is accepted for a discount by that shell station.

My wife drove to the pump within minutes and as I was going through the usual steps to dispense gas come up all of a sudden the pump shut off and the transaction was canceled. I could not understand why that happened but I repeated all the necessary steps to be able to pay for and get gasoline at the pump. Again, although I was doing all the proper steps, the transaction was canceled automatically and remotely. I walked into the gas station where I encountered Michael Millette, the owner of that Shell gas station at 11301 Old Glenn Highway, eagle river, AK 99577.

His email is [protected]@yahoo.com

I politely asked Mr. Millette if there was a problem with the pump I was trying to use as it canceled my transaction automatically and had done so twice.

He glared at me (mind you, I had never met this man before) and snapped that he had turned the gas station off as he saw no one at the pump(I'm 6'3" and 220 pounds so I think I'm hard to miss )
I replied that I did not understand as obviously there has to be someone there working the pump for him to shut it off. He insisted that there was no one there he looked and I replied that I was there but that he apparently had not seen me.

I decided to go to a second pump which also turns off automatically in the middle of my transaction and actually even tried a third pump only to have the exact same problem with his turning it off.

At this point I was getting quite frustrated and it appeared clear to me that Mr. Millette did not wish to allow the pumps to dispense gas to me and actually seemed nervous when I walked into the station to speak to him.

I realize that other factors are always possible but trust me when I tell you that I feel Mr. Millette had unfairly profiled me as a large black man walking to his gas station and I suspect that he was afraid of me and either afraid that I was planning to steal gas or planning to use a fraudulent card, neither of which was the case, of course. I am not a defensive person but I also am quite perceptive and I was offended that the owner not only turned off the first pump but the next two independent pumps so that I could not complete my transaction and get gas for my wife. As one of the few medical experts in my field, I earn at least a high six-figure income, Live in peace with my neighbors and have friends in all walks of life.

The fact that the owner canceled my transaction on three separate machines let's me know that he had every intention of not allowing me to get gasoline from his station or his pumps and no one should be treated like that, no one at all!

I walked in the next morning and asked him whom I would send a commentary to regarding his station and without saying a word to me, he gave me his card which had the above information as if I was going to complain to his email and not go above him.

I would like this situation addressed and I would like to know that you received this complaint.
.

Sincerely,

John H. Bocachica, MD FAAD

Shell customer service

I used to go to this shell almost everyday for 4 years. I refuse to now. One employee completely blew me away with his customer service and blatant disrespect. I contacted asked when the managers would be there. I was blown off. I had 2 other employees take my number and say they would give it to them that there have been numerous complaints about that specific person. still to this day I have not received a call. this happened 2 weeks ago. I would like to know how to get a hold of them.

Shell closing hours

On Sunday Jan.29 I pulled into Shell on 3803 San Jacinto & Alabama in Houston Tex and they were closed. This has been an ongoing problem ever since the new managers took over. I have complained to the manager at the store before and the problem got a little better but now it seems to be getting worse again. They are suppose to be open until 10pm but often times they seem to close when they want. I understand all I need to do is go to a different store but I only use shell gas and this is the only one in my area. I know this is a franchise store not a corporate location and I am sure Shell has guidelines as to how their stores are to be operated. Shell needs to be informed of how this store is being operated and make some changes. If they want to close at 9pm that's fine, at least the hours will be consistent and I can plan ahead.

Shell gas spill washed into storm drain

January 30, 2017
O’Lucky Truck Stop
11960 Hwy 59 North
Livingston, TX 77385

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
I am writing concerning an incident that occurred at your location on 1/20/17 at approximately 9:30 am. I pulled up to pump #7 in order to fill up and allow my dog a rest break. We got out of the truck and walked to the grass area on the motel side of the pump. While on the grass, the Indian gentleman was carrying something while walking towards the pump and called out to me. I couldn’t hear what he was saying and asked him to repeat it. He asked me to move my truck because he was dealing with a gas spill. I immediately complied and both my dog and myself returned to the vehicle and pulled away.
Almost immediately, my dog became highly agitated, jumping around in the truck. I thought it was because she didn’t have the opportunity to actually use the break, so I told my fiancé who had pulled up next to me, I would return to the grass. As soon as Bella, jumped out, she began to repeatedly drag herself on the grass in circles. My fiancé was pulling towards a pump when I called him to come help me with the dog, because she was clearly in distress. We used the first hose we saw at the motel to irrigate her paws, to no avail.
Tom asked the gentleman who was tending the spill for help. He was less than helpful, acting as though he did not understand what was being asked of him; finally, reluctantly allowing us to use the front faucet, before disappearing inside. While Tom held Bella out front, I went in to ask for soap because the water was not enough. The same gentleman wandered around the store awhile before grudgingly handing over the dish soap from the grill.
We had to irrigate Bella’s paws three or four times with water and three times with the dish soap before she stopped being agitated and her paws no longer reeked of gasoline, praying we had gotten it off fast enough to not be absorbed systemically. Once we had that taken care of, I asked the Hispanic female employee for a towel since the dog’s paws and legs were good and wet at this point. She too, wandered around the store and told me, “We don’t have any towels”. Looking at the sign for Trucker Showers, I asked what towels the truckers used, she told me I would have to buy one. At this point, Manvi interceded and flat out refused assistance because, “You didn’t even buy anything!”. Not only did I have to point to our truck at pump #2, I had to tell her EXACTLY how much we had spent even though she could clearly see the pump reading.
Considering there was a large, unmarked gas spill that put my dog in danger coupled with the staff’s complete indifference, I did not feel I should have to pay for a towel and told them so. At this point, all three of them began loudly berating me. I did not yell at them, but I did stand my ground. I was eventually offered a dirty shop rag. NO. THANKS.
I would also like to point out that the spill was not marked until AFTER I moved my truck. And as you can see by the enclosed photos, not only was there a large enough spill to have a sheen, the Indian gentleman WASHED THE GAS SPILL INTO THE STORM SEWER! No doubt Benzine is a welcome addition to the water supply.
Bottom line, we asked for water, soap and a towel to in order to provide immediate first aid to our dog who was suffering greatly, with chemical burns to all four paws. The staff on duty had an opportunity to be customer service hero’s, but instead, chose to take the low road in hopes we would just go away. To say they were less than helpful would be an understatement; grudging, resentful and hostile would be good adjectives. Incredibly, seriously unprofessional.
I am sending a copy of this letter and all photos to your Shell parent company, as well as to any and all local and state agencies that would have an interest in a gas spill that was not handled in compliance with local, state and federal laws. In addition, I will post this experience to any and all social media available to me. You had an opportunity to handle this matter in such a manner that I would be singing your praises to everyone I know. Now, I will share EXACTLY how you responded.

Regards,

Debbie Adams

Shell service at 1430 n 1st st., hermiston, or

I'd stopped in to get fuel Sunday, January 29, 2017 at few minutes past 5:00 pm. I'd pulled in to the station and the first pump had a cone, indicating it was out of service. I pulled to the next pump, and a vehicle whipped off the street and abruptly pulled in front of the pump I was going to and cut me off. It was two young teenage girls. She was aligned better with the pump because of her aggressive driving. (That being said, the attendant had to stretch the hose to its length to reach her fuel cap.) The other driver kept indicating for me to get out of her way. I did not. The attendant (a man, late 40s, overweight, and needing a shave) went to the other vehicle and waited on her, without regard I was there first. He'd seen the whole thing because he had been fueling two vehicles on the other side of the pumps. He was laughing with them while the driver was gesturing towards me and the driver, passenger, and attendant looked my way. While she was getting her fuel, both the driver and passenger were taking my picture, and when the fuelling was completed, she aggressively backed up, rolled her window down and was screaming obscenities while "gesturing" with her middle finger. When I mentioned to the attendant that I'd been there first, he shrugged his shoulders. Not even an apology.

I am over 60, and worked as a Motor Vehicle Examiner for the State of Oregon for over two decades. I know aggressive driving.

I will not be back. This is not the first time I've had issues with Shell, but will likely be my last. When a dumpy unkept man (attendant) chooses to flirt with young girls rather than even addressing me when I'd been there first, well, I don't need that and the station apparently doesn't want my business, either.

I'm sure nothing will come of this, if you even contact the station, but I needed to vent. Customer service used to be important. It saddens me to see that it isn't something that is important to most businesses any longer. Yes, I remember when we fueled our vehicles, it was at a service station! The attendant checked the oil, tire pressure, washed the windows, and all this with polite, respectful service with a smile. So sad those days are gone. But I digress! No, I will not do business with this business again, and more than likely, any Shell Station. It was a very distasteful experience, and as I previously stated, it wasn't the first.

Thank you for your time.

Shell gasoline and customer service.

Today around 3:45 I went to pump some gas at my nearest shell. When I got there I tried to use my fuel rewards card and the pump froze. So I went inside and the lady said that all her pumps went down and it was taking a minute to come up. After a few minutes they came back up. I told her I wanted $10 on pump 8. She put it in, and I told her I was using my fuel rewards first. I swiped it and it said I had 0.03 per gallon. So I paid my money and went back outside. I began to pump my gas an noticed it never took my 0.03 off. So I was paying full price. I proceeded back in and told her it never took it off. She told me well I don't know why I didn't maybe because when the pumps went down it caused a communication error and there's nothing I can do. So afterwards I left. But that really upsets me because when I swiped my card it was supposed to come off.

Shell shell survey

I fill out survey every time I go to a shell gas station which is every time I put gas in my car. Today I tried filling out the survey twice, and both times I got to the part tell us how this experience could have been improved. (68%) and before it sends me to the page to fill out if I bought unleaded or diesel, it brings me to another page thanking me! I was not able to fill out info for the contest, maybe one of those two shots was my winning survey!

Shell very rude behavior from assistant manager and clerk

My father who is handicapped was at your store on 121 in Macclenny florida when he went to go in the store the assistant manager was parked by one of the accessibility ramps used by handicapped people. He went into the store to ask her to move her vehicle. He was told by them if he didn't like it he could go somewhere else. I have personally spent over $400, 000 in the last 10 years of doing buisness there. I cannot believe you let your employees treat handicapped customers like this. I will not be going back to that store or any other shell until these two are terminated or i have to sue. The attached photo is from today. Another employee blocking the access ramp

Shell rude customer service

I went into the Shell Gas Station in Libertyville, IL located at 540 Peterson Rd.
The cashier was rude I didn't know where the ATM was located and he says back there where the sign says ATM. I ignored the comment and went on to use the ATM. I purchased a cup of coffee and decided maybe to break the ice, the young guy was rubbing his eyes. So I said tell me about it I am sleepy too. He goes uh huh like he wanted me to shut up. So I said have a good day he says yup and dropped my change in my hand like he didn't want our hands to touch. I was offended and I am never going into that Shell again.

You'll be lucky if they do that because it is very unlikely. This would be of no benefit to them. Your best bet would be to sell it at a lesser cost.

Shell customer service

At 12:29 a.m. I went to get a snack at the Shell gas station at 730 29th Street in Sacramento California. The door was locked but the service window was open so I stood there and watched the lady who was working mop and look at me(while I stood freezing) like she took pleasure in sitting there making me wait. She made no attempt or gesture to me just continued to glare at me while she went back and forth to the bucket to squeeze the mop out. I assumed that the customer was first and that She'll employees maintained a professional standard. Well somebody didn't get the memo.
