SBI Global Link Services / customer service sucks!

Contact information: is a nightmare. Do not send money to India through this website. I was using this website for some time. Initially some of the transactions took longer time to get through. But all of a sudden I was not able to log on to the website. I have lost Rs. 37000.

I have sent them numerous emails and they never responded to a single one. I also tried contacting the manager from the list of contact numbers they provided on the website, they never pick up the phone. Finally I was able to get through the chief manager, but he said 10.00 am IST was too early for him to attend the call. I got an email from their team the same day stating that the address was incorrect. I once again sent them the address and the money has still not reached the receivers account. Its been almost two months that I am dealing with these guys. Still trying to get them on phone, waking up in the middle of the night so that it would mid afternoon for these guys. Their customer support sucks. The money had to reach the recipient for an important purpose. Hoping that I would get my money back some day.

    I am in the same boat. My draft was never reach to citibank and postal auth can't provide the proof since 5 months. No luck yet. May be they will re-issue after 6 months. Sucks... s*cks... s*cks...

    Never use SBI Global Service (

    I sent US$100.00 in July 2006 - even as of today (3/30/2007) the on-line status is "In Process"; I sent at least 20 emails - NEVER got a reply. The Mumbai contact phone # is never answered.

    I am sailing in the same boat, I have been trying to send money from US to India for a long time but could not succeed, I send several emails to know no response I am yet to know the reason for failure, hope sbi reacts to this mail.

    Yes I am fully agree with your this complaint, this website dose not deserve for the good E Banking, I also lost my Rs8000 and no one is responding me humbly the branch person of SBI Noida sector 2 Mr K.D Sharma is very stupid person who was fall in on me for this complaint, all of the business of this Bank is useless if you fell happy in the losing money and gain trouble then use this SBI bank otherwise go to any private bank they will help you, understand you and respect you and this SBI is so stupid organization I hate this.

    Even though I have send them the RBI reference number but they are not responding, I have so this transaction in March 1 and still they not return my money not credit this to my brother's account, even tho his officers are also ideot.

    I take back my previously posted negative comments of SBI/GLS service.

    Its for 1 week their service was down, but now they have upgraded all their service with new web interface, the way they communicated is not ok, but It looks like everything is normal.

    This site and the Indians managing it suck big time. The money is debited from my account and has not been credited there in India and there is no explanation from the authorities as to why this has happened. Big question is where is the money gone. They took my $150.00 and now are refusing to credit in the account in India. This is absurd and these ###s dont even know whats happening. SON'S OF [censored]E'S. ROT IN HELL U [censored].

    The SBI Evening Branch and the Bazaar branch at Dimapur, Nagaland is giving hard times to their account holder. Most of the time the Bank people at the counter of S/W/O are too busy either talking in mobile, taking pan or arranging cash instead of dealing to the account holder. I think all the staff including the manager should be given punishment transfer to some remote places where they have nobody to talk so that they will do their duty properly. The higher authorities should also see these matters coz the Bank is there because of the account holder not vice versa. Bank people dealing to the account holder also should be monitored by the higher officials because we are there not to steal money but to get our hard earn money.

    I had a lot difficuties in sending money to relatiYes I am fully agree with your this complaint, this website dose not deserve for the good E Banking. I want to delete my closed bank account from their system. I sent several email to them no response so far. Do not use this website. Thanks.

    SBI online is a cheater, we have to topple down this SBI bank. There are lots of cheater in this organisation. They will cheat you from the rate to the final distination.
    They will say, the account number is incorrect though it is correct, jus to keep the money for interest. They have kept money almost 3 months. will not answer your e-mail or phone call.

    Bunch of cheaters working in this organization. I wonder, Iwhy ndian Govt. is not taking any actions. If would be their manager I will fired all the staff members and fresh start, with honest banking, and most important customer trust back to the organization.

    Never send any money with this sBI

    I have transfered 80000 through SBI Global one month back for an urgent need to my cousin. They not reached and I cant track them. When I email SBI GLS, they simply say they have transfered the funds and ask me to contact beneficiary branch provided a UTR reference number. When my cousin contact the branch, those people say they have not received any funds to their branch. Now this SBI guy, fo all my emails I send, he gives the same reply again and again like a parrot. Don't these people have minimum responsibility and courtesy for what the customers are going through. If bank like SBI do like this whome we have to trust and believe. I don't know what i have to do now and just praying for my funds. Be aware with SBI Global. It sucks.

    Hi friends,

    I have transferred huge amount to my brother in india but sbi dint credit any amount

    instead they gave a UTR number on the gls site.

    soon my brother contacted the bank but they responded that there isnt any NEFT acceptence /rejection
    from RBI processed by sbi.

    this means SBI left me with UTR and nothing more..

    where are the funds gone..damn SBI nobody cares no funds credited whom should we complain

    or where to check the UTR process

    i think system is meant for service, , sometime technical fault make prob ..if yes, , than hard to overcome as it is a huge pool of flow be careful n attentive

    Dear sir,
    This in refrence of my account sbi account no.(01190006978).In my account by fraud debited 20, 000 rs .
    & when i reached the bank the bank manager is not ready to listning my complaint, any person my make a signature and debited my 20, 000 rs . What can i do for that.pls guide me what should i have done regarding this matter.this branch branch is in Bihar state & distt. Gaya in pathkati branch pls do something regarding this matter.

    For all those who are not able to track their NEFT transfers via SBI, here is what I found on RBIs website. Maybe those folks can try contacting RBI. If this is fruitful, maybe they can share their experiance.

    Dear Friends,
    I strongly agreed with above complaints. Recently I sent money from USA through SBI global link service. Within 5 days, I have received the receipt from the Remit service, the amount has been credited but still now (now one month) the money is not creited to the beneficiary. I sent so mails to this service but they reply with the same answer again and again like a parrot. Really they do not know the these people have minimum responsibility and courtesy for what the customers are going through. At the end I called Branch office at Mumai, and he asked me to the check the credit amount in the Beneficiary bank (everyday the beneficiary is checking, even the local branch manger annoyed with beneficiary). I did so and with all details the SBI branch manger called at mumbai regarding this transaction, there was no proper response. Now I am very much tired of sending the mails and contact for this transaction. I feel something is going on in the transaction of Remit amount from NRI and its going to be BIG SCAM under SBI GLOBAL LINK SERVICE. I would strongly recommend, please donot send the money through this service.


    If bank like SBI do like this whome we have to trust and believe. I don't know what i have to do now and just praying for my funds. Be aware with SBI Global. It sucks.

    Dear sir, i have a saving account in your s.b.i. bank a/c. no-30077830008, branch- new colony, gurgaon (HARYANA), pin code-122001. i facing a prob. with pervices tranjucation.i used my atm card 03-10-2008 & recived 10000 rs/ when i have arround only 7000 rs left .but after 1 month, 10 days your bank cut my 20000 rs/. when i ask your bank employ they said you used your atm card samthing problem with atm machine many places & you used your atm 3 time, frist two time money didnt come third time u recived 10000 rs/ thats why we cut ur 20000 rs/.this is not a logic if something wrong with your system why custmer is trouble. 1: when problem with your atm machine why custmer in trouble. 2: after the last tranjucation when i have only around 7000 rs/. so why atm machine allow the 20000 rs/ tranjucation. 3: this incident 03-10-2008, afterthat i reach my nearst sbi bank for pass book entry than i found here is mistake 20000 rs/. if this prob is my side why sbi bank no information given to me. 4: after 1 month, 10 days is 13-11-2008.when i found this mistake & your bank people saying ush time bahoot sari atm machine kharab thi bahut logo ke paise aise hi kat gaye tumare bhi paise aise hi cut gaye. 99% paise nahi milenge 1% hum koshish karange.what is this nonsence . plz help me . i have only your email i.d. thats why i give u a mail .if u have your senior / related person id plz give me. i hope you can do somthing for me.atherwise i go with media(news), police or consumer cort. thankyou your bank account holder MANOJ KUMAR YADAV00971503452165 united arab emirates
