Olive Garden manager

The management is horrible the GM Daniel was being rude and mean towards certain employees. The plates and silverware's and dishes are always nasty. The smell of the restaurant isn't good at all it smells like something had died. I don't agree with the way the GM treats his employees and he makes them feel. I enjoy eating at Olive Garden but when I see people being treated badly I don't like it and I feel like something should be done about the management asap

Olive Garden fried calamari

Today, I had a craving for your Calamari. So, after work I drove 15 minutes to Olive Garden in Piscataway, NJ and picked up my to go order of Calamari along with an order of Zuppa Toscana. I arrived home and began eating my Calamari and was immediately dissatisfied, disappointed and down right annoyed that I just spent money on it. Most of the Calamari was dry, burned an inedible and some of it was fried batter with NO Calamari inside. I am beyond unhappy and will not be eating at Olive Garden again for a very long time.

Olive Garden management

On March 3rd my family of 4 visited the Hyannis, Ma Olive Garden.
Every. Single. Thing. Was disappointing!

Short story: We waited almost 2 hours with a 3 year old. Empty drinks, no refills offered on anything, multiple waitresses standing around talking, just horrible service. And when we complained, we received zero empathy from the manager. We finally asked for our order to-go instead. The manager told us it still wasn't even started yet. Needless to say, my family left the restaurant very hungry, tired and disappointed.

Long story:
Bloody Mary with no garnishes
No refill on waters offered
No request to refill bread or salad
Sitting for over an hour after drinks without any service

Manager was horrible!
When asked about the wait for entree (over an hour at this point) he said he was short staffed. I asked him why he didn't shut down tables. He said, "would you rather wait at a table or wait outside?" I expained I had a 3 year old and if I knew the wait was going to be this long then I would have gone elsewhere. He dismissed me. Then my husband complains. He apologized and brought us some water. We asked for the orders to-go and he came back 10 min later saying they weren't even close to started. We said we needed to leave and he asked us to "wait" for a gift card. What?!? WAIT?!? We have been waiting for almost 2 hours! We aren't waiting for another second!

Table next to us was family of a waitress. They complained and got the meals in 10 min. The manager told them their whole meal was free and gave a bag of 5 salads to take home.

All the waitresses were just standing near the kitchen waiting/talking.

If the store was over 2 hours behind
Why wasn't the manager in the kitchen cooking?
Why weren't the waitresses spoken to/trained about the wait & the need to keep drinks, salads & bread filled at all times?
If the manager isn't in the kitchen, shouldn't he have been in the dining room with free app/dessert coupons trying to buy time, apologize and talk to the patrons BEFORE they start to complain?

Waits happen. Short staff happens. But that is never the customer's fault and that burden shouldn't be placed on them. It is the reponsibility of the establishment to provide service that makes the customer feel wanted and appreciated. My family left feeling quite the opposite.
This store had a million opportunities to take an unfortunate struggle and turn it into a positive. Gift cards and coupons get customers back in the door. Being proactive with short-falls give customers the sense of honesty and integrity. Seeing all staff working diligently when kitchen is behind gives customers a feeling that everyone is pitching in and trying to help.

Point is, the manager did not know how to manager the situation. He, and the staff, need some training. Hopefully, the unfortunate night for my family can save someone else from the same situation.

Thank you for your time.
Lauren Mahoney

Olive Garden my daughter was served alcohol

My 14 year old daughter was served wine tonight with her dinner
When I spoke with the manager about it I asked him to leave it alone until
I left the establishment with my family because I knew my oldest daughter would be upset with me what a fiasco the entire night was the waiter screwed up from the time we were seated until we left. I believe he was either not trained to be there or was just careless no matter what the reason my child should NOT have been served anything alcoholic.

Just get a fake ID for her, like everyone else does when they want to get polluted. Then you do not need to use her sister's ID.

Let me clear this up to all that doubted me not only as a parent but a person. I came on this site for some support and clarity I have never given my 14yr old daughter wine or anything else. Her and her sister were playing a stupid stunt to see if she would be served how ever I didn’t know about this until after the fact and it was too late. So yes I was furious that she was served No I didn’t order the wine I don’t even care for that drink & yes I was upset with the manager I wanted him to deal with this after we left because my oldest didn’t want me to say anything in fear he would loose his job as well he should but as for you people on this site you need a life and stop stepping on others for your own gratification
I think most of you that posted on this site that nite are truly sick in the head ive spoke my peace thanks never coming back on this board so good luck in harassing the next fool looking for support here...

You asked them to give your daughter the wine since it came free with her dinner. You made her use a fake ID because you are too cheap to order a glass of wine and you have audacity to get pissy with Olive Garden for doing exactly as you wanted them to? What the [censor] is wrong with you? Why didn't you just order her meal so you could get the free wine and then she could of ordered your meal and then when the food came, you could of switched plates with her. You started an enormous amount of stupid all over a freebie.

If YOU weren't drunk, you could have been watching your daughter instead of getting the staff to watch her. That's all on you and I don't feel one ounce of sympathy for you or your daughter. Go cry me a river, build a bridge, and get the [censor] over it. And then you have the nerve to come on here and complain. You are the very definition of ignorant!

Olive Garden bill

After ordering an appetizer for my meal, I mentioned I didn't want salad with it. After dinner with my girlfriend who did have salad, I was charged over $4 for a salad I never had. Also the waitress only brought 3 breadsticks and never brought more. "unlimited" salad and breadsticks with my girlfriends meal should be unlimited. Probably never returning.

Olive Garden charged for extra tomatoes on endless salad

Last time we were in the restaurant I complained about the lack of tomatoes and the waiter said we could get the salad any way we wanted it. So we requested extra tomatoes on the second salad and got them. This visit I asked for them up front. I didn't see any extra tomatoes so I asked for them again on the second salad. When I got the bill I was charged $1.29 for a side of tomatoes. I asked the waitress about it and was told that her manager told her she had to charge, that in a salad for 3 people there were 3 tomatoes (these are just thin slices). She said they put 7 tomatoes on the first salad and 9 on the second. How ridiculus is this that I get charged for extra tomatoes on an endless salad! I could of just asked for more salads and picked the tomatoes out!

Those are stupid replies and comments.
Would you rather a person order more salads just to pick 1 or 2 items from it and waste the rest? I mean come on if it's part of a salad then why and how do you charge for a part of an UNLIMITED salad? Be grateful she's not part of the wasteful society of the wonderful USA. There is already enough starvation here and so much food goes to waste.

Olive Garden service

my daughter and i went to the olive garden on monroe/talmadge in toledo, very busy night i will admit, we had a 45 min wait, today 2/23/18 finally did get a table, had a waiter, well the complaint, never did we see him to check how the meal was, if we needed refill's, we had to ask a couple of times to other waitress, if we could get some more salad, yet table next to us was getting salad's, drinks brought to them, was same waiter, but we waited over a hour for our appetizer, then we were tired by the time the food came, so yep we called him by using the service light and we just wanted boxes to take our food home, , then we did not get even mints, , we had to ask for a bag to put our food boxes in, so this was our 56. meal was all about yes very disappointed yes would like a refund to judi koester 2054 eileen rd toledo ohio 43615

Olive Garden cavatoppi pasta with asiago and grilled chicken

Hi I was at Olive Garden in Valencia today at 1:30 pm .. I was enjoying my food when I realized what looked like a pubic hair in it .. I waited for a server and told them about it they changed my food but I was not comfortable eating anymore because my stomach had become upset and the food didn't taste as good as the 1st one because them made it in a rush .. my son ordered some shrimp in his fettuccine which took til the end of our meal to be served .. very disappointed because at the end not even an I'm sorry or a small discount or nothing .. years ago this happened in Palmdale Olive Garden and they took care of the plate brought a new one at no charge it was on them for the inconvenience.

Olive Garden zuppa toscana

I wrote to OG near me where we always eat. I love, love the Zuppa Toscana soup but noticed (as well as other people I asked) that it tastes different. So much more bland. Not good at all like it used to. I was informed that the recipe changed to accommodate people who eat gluten free. Well I don't usually like to be a complainer when I go out to eat so I didn't say anything when I've eaten at OG. I totally understand having foods for people that have ingredient limitations, so why can't OG make 2 different recipes of the soup? The Zuppa Toscana has been a long-time favorite and I know a lot of people would love to have the old recipe back. Couldn't there be a section on the menu for people who want gluten-free items? Just like there is a low calorie section? Just a thought.

Olive Garden customer service

I was driven by Olive Garden on 2/16/2017 and saw a senior citizen stranded on Olive Garden restaurant parking lot, she have dinner at that restaurant it was her and her grandmaster, she look very nervous and was on a wheelchair I decided to stop and see if I could help her. Unfortunately she have left her remote control in the restaurant she send her granddaughter twice to look and ask for help the little girl come back and told grandmother that they told her there was nothing. I decided to go in and ask because the poor girl was not getting any help from the restaurant. I walk in and the girls that help in the front were not even interested in helping at this time I ask for the manager he come over and I explained to him that his customer was struggling the car was new and it would not start with out the remote. The manager was taking long so I ask one of the girls to go find him and she said o he told me there is nothing you could leave it was a lie the manager come running after me because he found the remote. I got it and took it to the lady. My complain is she was your customer and the girls should have taken the time to help the little girl.

Olive Garden service

On February 21st, my family went to your Olive Garden Restaurant #4404 in Fayetteville, GA . We were seated quickly as we arrived before 6pm. Right from the start we had to wait for 15 minutes before someone asked us if our server had been to our table, and I replied no we have not. A few minutes later our server Paul M. Came for our drink order and showed us how to place an order for appetizers on the little machine on our table. When they appetizers was served, he took our dinner order. We asked for a new straw for one of the drinks because the previous one was cracked, that took over ten minutes to get, every time we asked the server something, we had to wait until he took care of another table first. The server brought us our dinner and one of the orders were wrong. No one came to check our table after the meals were served and once again, I had to get and search for someone to come back to our table. The dinner order was keyed in wrong and we had to wait an additional 40 minutes before they brought out the correct one. By then everyone else had completed their meals so we asked for to go boxes so we could leave. We asked for the assistant manager to come to the table, which took over 10 minutes, explained everything that happened, and all he could say was I am sorry. I was very disappointed in the service and doubt that my family will eat there again. Our bill came to $85.23 and I expected better service than what we got.

Olive Garden food

we visited the olive garden that is located on 1870 Joe Battle Blvd
El Paso, TX [protected] today 2/20/2018. When the food was brought out there was a bolt in our plate. The manager was very nice and he apologized and took care of the invoice. However this has really ruined our future plans of returning . This is not the first time we find foreign objects in our food. We normally just remove them because we know that mistakes happen. A big bolt however is not excused because of its size. I have attached the pictures.

Olive Garden restaurant and manager

On February 19, 2018 around 9:00 pm, my daughter, grandson, my son and his girlfriend had a late dinner after a very long day. At about 9:45 a couple come in, at this time my daughter is getting my grandson ready to leave so she is talking to him and he is 2 so he is talking louder than an adult does. The couple are annoyed and summon the waiter to "Move them because he is just too loud and they need quiet, children need to not be in restaurants!" The waiter doesn't move them. My daughter just lets it go and tells her brother to pay the bill so they can go. My son ask her something about the bill and the guy of the couple thinks he is speaking to him and freaks out and gets in my sons face. Yelling and threatening my son and daughter in front of my grandson and a 2 month old baby at a table behind them. If anyone knows my son, he is not confrontational and he had just had enough by this point and was in protective mode over his family. He was ready to flip on this grown older man! Meanwhile, my grandson runs around the table to his aunt and the lady calls him a "stupid kid!" The appalling thing is, management comes out and moves the couple and wants my daughters name so the couple can call corporate and have them banned from Olive Garden? My daughter did nothing wrong! This couple threatened and yelled inside the restaurant and management comes out and moves them instead of making them leave? The servers and hostess were apologizing and telling my daughter she did nothing wrong but management just let these people get away with this? My daughter should have called the police but she just wanted to leave. She called me so upset and crying that I had to go and calm her down! Oh how lucky Olive Garden is that I wasn't there! How can Olive Garden let people get treated this way? How awful! I am appalled and disgusted! I will post this story on social media so people know how horrible Hagerstown Maryland Olive Garden has become!

Olive Garden zuppa tuscana soup

My husband and I go to Olive Garden in Grove City Ohio at least twice a month, We always get the soup salad and breadsticks. We order the Zuppa soup as this is our favorite and look forward to it every time. We visited the above store today, February 19 and was very disappointed to find that the soup was not made as it always was. Instead of the white sauce look it was more yellow. The server even told us that it was different. It has not the zuppa soup that we have always had. We usually have at least 3 bowls each. I did not even eat my entire bowl. To say the least I hope you are not changing this soup. We were very disappointed. No manager came to explain what the problem was but the server said others were complaining also. You many contact me by e-mail at [protected]@yahoo.com or my phone number is [protected]

Olive Garden customer service

Tonight Me and my family of seven went to your location in North Olmstead, Ohio, to celebrate my son's 15th birthday. All was good we got our food, apps, drinks, then we got our main course. As a server, (not our server) came by to refill some drinks he had a small tray with 4 big glasses of pop and Ice tea, when he put the one drink down he lost balance and ended up spilling the 3 other drinks all over my 11yr old daughter's pants and coat, as I looked and seen what happens I asked to speak to a manager. Now myself being a server I know to not carry anything out that you can't handle if its too much you would make several trips or ask a coworker for help. Now mind you also it is winter time cold and snowy tonight and my daughter now has sopping wet pants imbarrased and freezing we decided to pack the food up and leave. So now my son's 15th Birthday is cut short and ruined.Manager came over took my daughter's meal off the check and gave me a $25 gift card.I feel that because my son's birthday dinner was basically ruined the whole check should have been take in care of.The server that dropped the drinks was unapologetic didn't even say sorry one time.I completely feel that more should of and could have been done about this situation.

Olive Garden rude behavior

I was eating with my family I watched the bartender do her work then take care of her tables yes she did socialize with a table she clearly knew I still saw her doing her job. I then saw the manager being nice and playfull with a couple in the lobby then turn to the bartender and tell her she needs to do her job basically. How she said it made me uncomfortable then another manager came and rudely said the same thing. Maybe two minutes apart from each other. Just because you're management doesnt mean you should talk to your staff with disrespect. This all happened in a WV store.

Olive Garden customer service

The manager was very rude and not helpful. Other waitstaff were also rude. We were at Olive Garden having lunch, ordered our meals for 7 people and when it was served 2 meals were missing. Waitress said let me check to see where the other meals are, 15 minutes later she comes back. She apologizes and says that the two meals were taken and served to someone else and that the they will make the two meals on the fly and bring it out. 30 minutes pass and no food. Our waitress never comes back. Everyone at the table has completed their meals and two people have not . We ask another waitress to speak to a manager. 5 min later and women in a pink top and flowered pants comes and says she is one of the 3 managers working and was not aware of the issue and would find out what happened and come back. 10 min later the food comes out and we request it be packed up so we can leave. Manager never comes to the table. Ask for the bill and packed food. 10-15 min later the bill is ready. We ask for mgr to see if would be compensated for the issue. No manager comes 10 minutes pass we pay the bill. On the way out we see manager and say to her thanks for coming back and taking care of the issue I had. She proceeds to roll her eyes and says whatever and continues doing what she was. This was the worst service by this location and I have been coming for years.

Olive Garden service/food/manager

On Sat Feb 10, 2018, my daughter, my granddaughter and I went to one of your est to have a dinner that we had planned and was so excited to enjoy! We had planned this "girls weekend out" to coincide with attendance to "An Affair of the Heart" at the fairgrounds in Okc, Ok. First time in 10 yrs we were able to do this. In the last couple of years my husband lost his eyesight and was diagnosed with cancer. We have custody of three young teenage girls whom we got when thier mother was murdered. My daughter and granddaughter worked VERY hard and put a LOT effort into this special weekend! One of mine and my granddaughters favorite place to eat is Olive Garden. We chose your resturant at 6330 SW 3rd st in OKC, OK to have dinner on that night. We were told that our wait time would be 30-45 mins. We did not mind that. However, after waiting the 45 mins appx, we were finally seated at a table, given menus and after 35 minutes of waiting for someone to come to our table, i finally stopped a waiter and asked for someone to please come take our order? Appx 10 mins later a young black girl approached our table, said she was sorry, that she had been "running food"! She took our order, including drink and meal. Appx 15 mins later she returned with salad, breadsticks and drinks. Appx 20 mins later someone else brought my daughter and granddaughters soup, and explained that mine would be out in a few mins. The others soup was cold, we never were offered refills on our drinks, i actually noticed a picture of icewater off on a sidebar and got up and refilled my granddaughters glass myself. Appx 20 mins later the first waitress brought my Fondut out and it was burned around the edges and the other two in my party requested refills on thier drinks and thier soups, as thier glasses wrre empty of water AGAIN, and thier soup was NOT palatable while cold. Our wait continued, no drinks, no soup! I asked for a manager. We were still waiting when they finally brought two more bowls of soup out, not what was ordered! Still NO refill on drinks. I again ask for a manager, still no response! My food was not eatable, as it was burned! I finally stopped another waiter for a different area and he finally got the manager to come to our table. The manager, Ed, is the only name i was able to get, said he was sorry! Then asked in a sneering tone if he could get us a desert! This manager is a man that throughout this whole ordeal, i had seen him standing by what i assume is the order station, talking to the female waitresses, laughing, and would occasionally walk back and forth to the bathroom. He actually made eye contact with our table several times, he had to have seen us sitting there with our menus for 45 mins, saw me get up and pour a glass of water, saw that we were NOT being waited on properly! Yet he did NOTHING! When he had to come to our table he was SO condescending and you could tell he didnt care! Offered us desert! Over all of the years i have eaten at Olive Garden ive only had one other bad experiance. Yet i can truly say that this visit to this resturant, was without a doubt, the WORST experiance i have EVER had at ANY resturant! This manager and several of those staff members should be fired! We were only one of four tables that experianced this terrible service during our visit that night. YES WE WERE ONLY ONE OF FOUR TABLES TO HAVE THIS TERRIBLE EXPERIANCE! The food was terrible, but the service was even worse and sure ruined a special night! We are from Lawton, Ok and had rented a hotel and made plans fir the entire weekend! Well guess what? Saturday eve went down the drain because of your restaurant with its horrible staff and terrible food! By the time we left your resturant we were so tired and disgusted, and STILL hungry, that we had to stop at a fast food drive thru and grab food and went straight on to the hotel! There is NO WAY that we can recapture that evening, however, you should seriously look at the problems in that resturant!
