They told me that I wouldnt have any problems being a tax preparer as far as recieving my fees charged to those customers onto my card and they blocked the card when the fees became available on the card today. To add to the problems, they will not let me close the account. Bottom line they lied to get me and 20 of my customers business.

i had my refund direct deposited onto my netspend visa debit card and it was sent to them on april 9 2009 from internal revenue service and netspend hasnt posted it to my card and everytime i call i am only being directed back to internal revenue and being rushed off of the telephone.

hello, my name is patricia myers, the department of treasury sent my refund on june 12th, and they still have'nt posted it to my account.i had to fax my w-2 form, my 1040 form, my 5405 form, and before i faxed my 5405 form, they told me that after i faxed that they would deposit my money, well i faxed that then, they told me i had to fax my ultility bill, i thought they was a prepaid card company, i fill like i'm being integragated.i picked this prepaid card company, because after reading thru the terms and conditions, i thought they was alright, guess i was wrong, anyway, i faxed my ultility bill, and they still have'nt posted my refund to my account.my bill is do too.i don't understand really.the irs already did there job, i wish i never chose netspend for my tax refund, never again i won't recommend this company to noone, especially if there bills are do, and there relying on netspend to post there deposit.

Do not under any circumstances use this company. I have been a customer of Netspend for several years without a problem until recently. I have done numerous transactions using my NetSpend Visa card, to pay for items won on EBay. I have an account with PayPal to pay for my purchases. When I tried to pay funds are supposed to be transfered from my NetSend card to PayPal. I was given a message that said "this card cannot be used for this transaction"! I immediately call NetSpend and was told that "our system is down, wait a few hours". Well needless to say, I am still waiting after several days. You will be put on hold for a very long time, and yes the customer srevice reps sound if they are reading from a script. Called their corporate headquarters and was told "someone will get back to me". I encourage EVERYONE who has been RIPPED OFF to contact the Attorney Generals Office of their state. It is not enough to complain amongst ourselves regarding the shady practices of this company. They have scammed Thousands and will continue to do so. I have read too many stories about customers who have direct deposited money just to have it vanish. Remember "Bernie Maddoff"!!!

I have been with netspend since 2007. Until this year I have never had any problems with them. In February 2012 a company from 3 years ago was able to withdrawl nearly $200 from my account then they add over draft charges to boot. After 3 days we finally got our money put back on the card from the company and the overdraft taken care of. Today netspend stated that we would get our VA dd and thenscrewed everyone by not doing so and not giving us a straight answer and this is memorial day weekend. Lots of people are missing out on the holiday, food and bills that needed to be taken care of and family graduation. ISm done with netspend there are other places to bank.

Well my story is identical to the ones above. Have had nstspend for 5 years4month and 13 days and never had a pblm but recently the same crap no check its now the 5th so im pasdu on my well everything my phone is next inline to be shut off..our life ins was a derct pay from my card my netflix was to exc. Exc but today is the fifth i have drs apts and copays to see them i have medication i must be on or i will die and no money from my diisabilty derect deposit yet when i called by the 3rd becuse that has happend before but tge YOU WILL GET YOU CASH 2 DAYS EARLER???no longer aplies...and the if you have over 500 set up with derect dep there was soposto be no service fee of 5 bucks i would. Have just payed the 5 bucks them idk what with my money, but seems to me they should not bill us for somthing thats there falt and then overdraft my account to get there fee..becuse thay could. What the hell is up with this bank they went to hell after all the years ive been a customer dont matter . Now tge rsp told me thay are closed weekends and holidays...WHAT???That has never been a pblm for years and now they have failled to hold up there side of the deal completly . Like the other lady said HELLO YOUR AN INTERNET BANK YOU HAVE NO DAYS TO CLOSE AND OPEN THE DOORS thats not what i agreed to at all none of it is...i just Need my ssd check or i may die without my meds and you know what if that happens then they are looking at a wrongfull death sute becuse my loved ones will sue netspind and thay will win...Lisa TMoreno
