Kmart shelby/store manager

I am writing this email on behalf of my minor child. Since Shelby has been a store manager at the Enid store, Kmart has had a large turn over due to his rudeness and disrespectfulness to employees. I have complained in the past, numerous times and no response or feedback was given to me as on how this is was resolved. Back in August of 2015 after my daughter had been with Kmart for a year and half, Shelby once again disrespected her in front of customers. At that point my daughter handed in her badge and said she was done. My daughter has since then tried to come back, because we were told that others that walked out were able to come back and continue employment with Kmart. After speaking with the HR Manager she was then informed that she will not be able to come back because of the disagreement Shelby and I had. He also shared with some of his employees that my daughter will never work at another Kmart because of me as a mother protecting her child. All I want at this point is for something to be resolved and my daughter be treated fairly, and not be talked down to. After thinking this through and talking with someone else, I am willing to have this issue resolved within your company in a timely matter. I'm not threatening or just sending this message to get everyone uptight. However, I am looking into getting an attorney and filing a law suit due to the conduct of your Store Manager as well as the privacy of an ex employee. Kmart Enid is needing 16 cashiers and my daughter after all the abuse and disrespect was wanting to come back and work for this company! I just want her to be treated fair.

Kmart christmas lights and extension cord

10-30-2015 went online to order 12 boxes of Christmas lights and 1 extension cord. Mind you, I like Kmart and Sears, grew up on Kmart and even worked at Sear Los Angeles for a Christmas season 1968. I have some Shop Your Way Points and wanted to use them along with a surprise bonus. When I went to check out online I ended up with 2 items I could pick up at the store and the rest would be shipped. I wanted the free shipping to my house for all the products but the exit charge showed a shipping of $33, no award points and was just wrong. So I closed the sight and told myself to do it on Saturday. 10-31-2015 Went online around 8AM PT, same stuff again. Called the store to first see if the products were on the shelf ("no" they said) and she told me that their computers were on the blink and couldn't help me further. Went back online and went to Chat Help. Ferguson helped me from 8:47AM until 9:52AM and we accomplished...Nothing! We tried reordering, changing reward methods, tried all kinds of ways and none worked. finally Ferguson said to go online and continue from there...chat closed and we lost each other. Went back online, Demetrius helped me order for just the lights then says that there are no lights available to order. I said that Ferguson never mentioned no available lights, please double check, he did and still said none available. I then got in my car and drove the miles over to our local store...there they were on the shelf just laughing their little lights off at me saying, "Screw the online ordering and just come in and see for yourself!" I purchased the lights, not the cord (Cheaper and better at Home Depot). While I have you ear, the cashier Joyce of receipt # [protected] was unfriendly. Never said hello, so I said, "Busy today huh, " NO she said. Never said thank you, she did say, "here are your coupons" and didn't know how to use the Shop Your Way correctly. Kmart points and bonus points

It never fails when i sop at the kmart in batavia ny the associates or the manager are properly trained and shown how to redeem and use these points for purchases .So i lose out on many deals due to improper training.This is unfair to the customer and will definitely push shoppers to go elsewhere..Many use these points for live on a fixed income.If you choose to fail and give customers the offers and discounts they will seek other places to shop...Please resolve this matter ...I shop there all the time as well as my holiday lawaways.I am asking for some kind of points on my card for having to deal with this issue everytime...I was even given the number to contact the rewards program from the manager for she was unsure how to do this as well.Plese train your staff..Thank you..You may contact me at [protected]@outlook.com

Kmart checkout line

Sept. 28, 2015 - Just wanted to share the latest experience about how this corporation does business. Went into the store and found a couple clearance items and thought I could get in and get out quickly. There was one checkout line operating and was third person in line. For some reason, the clerk was having issues processing the purchase of the people at the head of the line. After several attempts and about 5-10 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong, the clerk left the cash register and went to find somebody to help. All the while four more people are now behind me. Another 5 minutes trying to figure out the problem. They eventually moved everyone over to another checkout lane. Now the real aggravation begins. Was still third in line after 10 minutes. Each customer only had a small handful of items and the experience begins with what is your phone number, then are you a card member, then do you want to be a card member. After scanning the items, then the questions are do you want to donate to whatever charity it is this time around. After the customer finally gets to leave, the process starts all over with the next customer. Needless to say, all the people in line are getting more impatient at why it is taking so long. Mr, Lambert, if you really care about serving customers in your stores, quit asking for phone numbers, card memberships, and donations. All people want to do is purchase their items. Why does anyone need to give out a phone number for a simple cash purchase? As I walked out of the store, I asked myself why would I ever come back here to wait forever to purchase something. Maybe the best thing for you is to just close all the stores and save everyone the headache of a slow painful dying of your corporation. We would be much better off not having to shop your stores than to punish ourselves going through your current process to purchase something. Several months earlier had similar issue and thought it was a fluke but apparently this is standard practice. Soon you won't have any customers that will gladly shop somewhere else. Used to be a great place to shop but I am finding it more difficult than ever to ever want to come back and purchase anything. An iconic name brand that will eventually join the heap of other failed companies. Too bad you had to ruin the reputation of Sears too as you drag the company into financial ruin and eventual liquidation.

Kmart vacuum cleaner

I went to Kmart in Florissant, Missouri on 09/16/2015 at 1:40 pm, to buy a vacuum cleaner. I bought a Kenmore bagless vacuum cleaner, It cost me $60.00 dollars. I took it home and opened the box and what did I see in the box was no vacuum cleaner, there was three small boxes and two used dirty frying pans. I was so mad, I call the store and talk to the manager, she had me talk to security I gave them the information from my receipt after I talk to him the manager got back on the phone, she told me that they were going to investigate it and call me back. Well I waited for her call for an hour in half. No call back so I called her back and she said that they were still investigating it. I asked her if I could bring the box to the store to get a real vacuum cleaner, she said no that she isn't sure if I am the one who did that. I can't believe that she said that. I told her that she is totally wrong, my son was here with me and heard the whole thing. She said she would call me back. I waited again for a half hour. So I was tired of waiting so I took it back to the store. I asked for the manager. He came out I told him about my findings in the box and that I did call and talk to the manager, he said well you didn't talk to me, I said that I spoke to a female manager and what she said. He looked at me like I was the one who did that. Between the two managers that I talk to made me feel so degraded, they made me feel like I was a criminal. He looked at my receipt after he looked in the box, he asked me to follow him to the back where the vacuum cleaners were. I told him that there was two more of the same brand vacuum. He looked at the two boxes, he pick up one box that look okay, he opened it and yes there was the vacuum cleaner in it. But the other box that was on the shelve had gray duct tape on both ends and the box was not sealed closed. The manager looked at me and said that he was not happy and for me to take my vacuum to the front. I said thank you and left. My point is that I have never been treated so degrading like that before in my life, especially from a store manager. I could even sleep last night because I was so hurt. After experiencing that from Kmart I really am not sure if I will shop there again. I did get on facebook to let my friends know what happened to me. And told everyone that if they buy any thing in a box to open it there at the store to make sure what they are buying is in the box. I would hate for my friends and family to go through what I went through. I think some thing should be done about how I was treated. Kmart texas steer boots

I purchased these boots for my 9 yr old son for a Cub Scouts camp out. He wore them a few days and upon returning home. He said, "Dad my boots are broken" and then he showed me the sole had fallen completely off the right boot and was starting to come off the left boot.

Yes it rained a lot over the weekend and they got wet, but are boots not made to be worn in the RAIN?

I just called KMART, where I purchased them, and they asked me if I purchased a PROTECTION PLAN for the boots. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

Parents and anyone looking for QUALITY, they might look good in the box in the store and seem worth the $40 price tag but do yourself a HUGE favor and run. Unfortunately KMART today is not the KMART of yester-years and the products they seem to carry today are not made to last.

These TEXAS STEER BOOTs are a bust and don't waste your time. I just hope you read this review before you buy! Calling KMART was also a waist of time which is why I'm writing this review, they basically laughed at me as if, "WHAT DID I EXPECT"!

Its no wonder they are going out of BUSINESS ALL over the place!

I will never SHOP AT KMART AGAIN.

Kmart poor customer service

I was shopping in the kill devil hills, nc kmart yesterday. the sales flyer had advertised double coupons. I had bought several items that I had coupons on and I also had rewards points for money off. When I went through check-out, the cashier, who was obvisouly new, said he knew nothing about double coupons, but he would try it. after ringing my purchaces he asked for help with the coupons but got none. When he tried to do my rewards points, that wouldn't work either. He finally got another cashier to come over to help, her response was, this registers keyboard is broken and you can't do any discounts on it. No offer was made to make it right or to help in any way. No apology was made for the problem or solution was offered. This is not the first time that I have had this type of problem with kmart. having retired from retail management myself, I know that this is not at all acceptable customer service. Kmart rude and management indifference

Kmart store 4235. I was at the store and the lines where very long and only 2-3 cashiers were checking shoopers out. I was standing in a line that was desiganted customer service. I asked the person at the service desk if I could pay for my items at this line, she rolled her asked and curlty stated no. I began to walk out of the store and because this was my second purchase, and decided to ask for the manager. A helpful cashier (Rosie) overhead paged dave. I waited at the custormer service desk. A man approached the desk, hea appeared to be irritated.
The customer service attendant did not identify me as the customer waiting for him. I approached he and said dave? He look and said yeah,
I went on to tell mhy concern of the long lines and the disrespectful manner in which his employee exhibited. He replied yeah well I better put some one else on. Dave never apologized nor did he make any attempt to recover my service.

I would disingenious if I stated I will not shop at this kmart again. The store is in my community. I am of the opinion I should be able to shop in my community and be treated as a valued customer. This day I did not at kmart 4235.

Kmart taking money from bank acct without authorization

I ordered a couple things online from K mart and now all of a sudden $12.97 was withheld from my checking account from the above named website. I paid shipping fees when I purchased the items online. This is the only way they could have got my debit card number. My debit card will be cancelled tomorrow so they won't be able to do this again next month which from what I have been reading on all the complaints this place is getting. Someone needs to do something about this place. The only information I have is the name of the website that took the money from my account. It is a pending transaction scheduled to be withheld 8/10/15. Hopefully I can get my bank to not pay it.

You misunderstood. You speak as if you do not realize retailers have rights similar to your own and every retailer has a check authorization system that is " certegy" or similar to it. " Certegy's" only concern was the protection of the retailer being kmart at that point in time. This complaint could have been for target or walmart just the same. Before you attempt to tarnish the reputation of a company or corporation you should be more understanding. And realize that your information is worldwide when you put it in electronic sources such as banking institutions. If you do not want your money to be anybody's business then carry cash that is not FDIC insured. You lose a card, you get the card and any money stolen from that card back eventually. You lose cash. it's lost. There is a price for convenience. This was an atrocious complaint on your part. People staring at you like you were " a criminal"? In court, they would ask how in the world you came to that conclusion of the state of mind of a several people since currently determining the state of mind of a person cannot be concretely determined even by a licensed professional. There should be votes to remove complaints like these. - Insurance Agent

The True face of entire Organization (K-mart) is finally revealed... We all know that K-mart is going out of business and the should... I say WHY ME! As a honest associate I worked at k-mart for years... I have worked hard and honestly... But they do not care how hard you worked or how honest you are... They will make stuff up if they have too... few days ago Security stopped a young girl at the door when the door did not even beep... They checked her did not find any thing but to keep their jobs they had to do something so They took her to the Security office and filed that she stole so many items when I know that The items that they accused her for steeling they were in security office prior to the girl even entered the store... She could not speak very good English so they took the best advantage of that... I wanted to help her but I could not... I was going through very tough times and I did not want to lose my job... Today I have quit the job but I feel bad for that girl and ashamed at my self for not helping her... To the girl I do not even know your name but I am truly sorry what happened...But I know that the girl said WHY ME!
For You I advice that never accept anything that you have never done. No matter what they say or Do...

I had prescriptions on file at another pharmacy but decided to have them called in to K-mart this time to advantage of the $25.00 gift cards being offerred. When I got there I found out that since I had them called into K-mart instead of the other Pharmacy I was ineligeble for the gift cards. Dumbfounded I said so your telling me I should have had these prescriptions called into the other pharmacy first then call here and ask to have the prescriptions transferred? What sense does that make since I already had the prescriptions filled prior at other pharmacy? This was a transfer of prescriptions in all sense of the word transfer...

Me and My husband are both in school so money was tight this month. We decided to put christmas items for our four children on lay-a-way so i could make payments with my part time job. The closest k-mart is 1 hour away and the only one we could get to babysit was grandma who is 4 hours away so we went shopping the day after thanksgiving to hit all the sales and we ended up getting everything at k-mart. Two days before christmas my husband and I and two of our smallest of 4 drove up to get our things, the kids and i stayed in the car so they wouldnt know what we were up to.After about 30 min my husband comes out and says "they lost all our things" i couldnt beleive my ears its two days before christmas and we have nothing so i went in hoping they could find it, not to mention its 8pm and we have 2 sleepy kids ages 3 and 4.After about 3 hours of getting a refund and reshopping with our kids i was in tears trying to find out a way to explain the toys to my kids and trying to sneak them out while my husband kept there "attention". couple of days later i called to complain and they never called me back! I dont think i will ever shop there again!

I recently tried to make a check purchase of around $28.00 from KMart. My check was declined. I was so upset. There were other people in the line and they were staring at me like I was a criminal. I was given an 800 number for a company called Certegy. I called and an automated system stated that I had an unpaid check out. I knew I didn't. I contacted my bank and was told that they had no idea where that information came from, but it was not accuate. I called Certegy again and started pushing buttons and was finally connected to a live person. I was informed that my file contained no derogatory information, but because I hadn't written a check in awhile that is the reason it was declined. She used this lame excuse that not only were they trying to protect the merchant from fraud but the customer too. I was informed that I needed to carry some other form of payment to back my purchases up for just such incidents. I normally pay with my debit card, but I received a new one and hadn't activated it yet. I don't carry cash. How can these companies dictate how often you can write a check or how much it can be written for? As long as you have the money to cover it, it's none of their business how we spend our hard-earned money. I know I'm not the only person that this happens too. Can something be done about this company?

I went shopping at K-Mart in Hutchinson KS. I wanted to purchase a Nascar game that was on sale. I live 68 miles from there. There were none of these on the shelf. The workers said that they had 6 of them but they were still in boxes in the back room. They would not get me one. They said they could take my number and call when they got to them. This was Wed. that I was there, the sale started on the previous Sun. They finally wrote me a rain check and told me it probably wouldnt work as they had some in the store. I guess due to the inconsiderate employees my granddaughter will not get this item for Christmas. I also purchased some boots for my granddaughter, the pair I purchased had one price on them and identical boots had other prices. They would not check into this for me. There was a $5.00 price difference. Did the clerk keep the extra five?

I have tried to shop at our k-mart for years because I also do not like wal-mart. Every time we enter the store we cannot find any of the items in the sale flier. If we ask for help we are brushed off or the sales people are very rude. The store is unorganized and the restrooms are not clean! My husband, my daughter and myself have all tried to talk to the manager and they are never available. What has happened to service and a little bit of common curtsy? I believe there must be something we can do. I'll start with the main office, than to sears main office, than to bbb, and than the 6:00 news. The more calls the better!

On 12/20/07 I made a purchase of 4ea gift bags for some of my gifts. The next day before I was going to toss my receipt I noticed that I was over-charged for 2 of the gift bags. All 4 bags were marked @ 1.99. Two of the bags were rung up at 2.99. The sku # is [protected]. The salesperson was Lexi. The K-Mart store #3358. It is only $2 and certainly not worth my trip back to the store or anything!

Kmart return policy change

July 9th attempted return without receipt, tags still on product, was advised store policy recently changed and return cannot be made without receipt. I asked for store credit or exchange for size, and was again told the same thing, and that no exceptions are to be made. I asked what if the item had been a gift and I wanted to switch for size, and was again told a store policy changed and would not permit it, cannot do anything without the receipt. Advanced notice should be given to customers about policy change, and I received none. Unfair and unscrupulous business practices.

Kmart replacement plan is a joke

I bought a tent for camping and the one year warranty. Sat the tent up at home had no problem. Took it camping one time and top of poles bent and crack. Tent claims on package quick set upand tear down. Only used it once. They told me it was my fault becouse i was in rain. This plan states mechanical breakdown and normal wear and tear and defects in workmanship and materials...but will not replace my tent ...cause i was in the rain...

Kmart uncleanliness

I went to kmart to just look around a little bit and I had extra time but I asked an employee where the bathroom was and he rudely pointed me in the incorrect direction I might add that he told me I was disturbing his work... But let me just say that as a sales associate your work is to help a costomer... Anyway I tried to find another employee to ask and I come across large dust piles on the floor I was grossed out by this... So when I finally reached another employee I asked where the bathroom was and I asked if they had a maintenance crew to clean the repulsive floors and she said no they don't have a cleaning crew and usually it doesn't get cleaned the bathrooms never get cleaned unless a complaint is made and someone has time or is asked to clean them which is highly unlikely

That is very beyond disgusting

Kmart incorrect item shipped, customer service refusing to help

I recently made a purchase on Kmart.com on January 4th for a TV wall mount. When I received the item on the 7th, it was the incorrect item. I called Kmart customer service and was told that the correct item would be shipped and the incorrect item would be picked up when the correct item is delivered. I was told that I would receive a confirmation email within 24-48 hrs. On the 13th, I had still had yet to receive the correct item OR the confirmation email. I called Kmart customer service again and was told that there was no record of me calling on the 7th and that I would have to pay to ship the incorrect item back in order to get a refund. That is not what I want nor am I willing to pay for return shipping. I want the correct item that I ordered. Is that too much to ask? After speaking with two levels of management and an hour on the phone, I still was getting nowhere. I requested that the original item be sent to me first and UPS can pick up the incorrect item just as I had agreed to on the original phone call. I was told that I would receive an email within 24-48 hours and after more than 48 hours, and guess what, still no email, still no correct item. Is there such a thing as customer service any more? ALL I WANT IS THE ITEM I ORDERED! On January 17th, I received an email stating that they were "still working the issue" and to allow ANOTHER 3-5 days for a response. It's been 7 days already and you guessed it, still no response, still no correct item.

I went online again with the online chat on 1/24 and the only thing they would suggest was a refund IF I paid to ship back the item.

I have called multiple times, emailed multiple times, and even online chat through Kmart.com. Why can't I just get what I ordered without a month of problems and NO ONE DOING THEIR JOB?

I'm not ordering this TV mount as a redecorating look, I purchased the TV wall mount as my children are now at the age where they can climb and I do not want an 80lb TV falling on them. The item I ordered was specific to non-VESA TV's, which is what I have. A standard wall mount found on the shelf in just about any retailer will not work as they are too short to reach the mounting holes on my TV.

This isn't a matter of principle on getting the correct item delivered to me, but a matter of safety for my children.

Kmart no refund on defective product

Bought 2 pair of texas steer boots on october 16, 2014. from kmart in colonial heights, va. 1 pr. never worn. the other pair was worn less than 12 times. boots come apart at seams. kmart would not refund and did offer to replace boots because it was past 90 days from purchase. it was 96 days. it was obvious that 1 pair had been worn, but the other still had the tags on them. it takes a sorry company to treat customers that way. I will not purchase anything that texas steer makes and I will never buy a product from kmart! sorry company's like these need to close their doors and go out of business!

Yeah right in the 90 days you never wore the boots, just admit you were careless and that is why they were damaged.

The return policy is 90 days and it was over the 90 days... I am betting that K-Mart would not get the money back from the Texas Steer so why would they offer it to you? I am also betting that you had NO proof of purchase.

Kmart retail store

I was very shocked, when my 16 year old daughter came to me crying about the person she had spoken to on the phone earlier.My daughter said that her name was Camelia and she answered the phone at the Service Desk.My daughter and I come to Kmart to do shopping twice a week, we are two of the company loyal customers.After Camelia was rude to my 16 year old daughter today.My daughter, family, and friends will not be shopping at Kmart any more.Camelia needs to be fired, she was very rude and out of line, thats not a good look for the Service Desk.My 16 year old daughter filed a complaint as well, I hope that the message will go straight to the maine office.

Your daughter is 16 years old and still comes crying to you because someone is rude to her, isn't it about time she grew up? How was she rude to your little baby daughter, did she tell her no for something that was company policy.

Kmart service desk

I called the Customer Service Desk around 2:30pm, and a young lady answered the phone, she said that her name was Camelia.Camelia was very rude on the phone when I was speaking to her, and then she hung up the phone when I was still on the phone.Camelia need to learn some manners.

Most likely she hung up on you because you chewed her out for being rude to your poor baby daughter. Most likely you were raising your voice because she told you no for something, Most likely she thought she was dealing with a six year old. If you yourself were rude she has every right to hang up on you. Go change your 16 year old daughter's diaper. I am sure she is crying again because she needs a diaper change and bedtime story.

Kmart employees can't count

I take a controlled anti seizure drug. I have a 30 day prescription with two refills. Being a controlled drug, it cannot be refilled until the 30 day supply is almost exhausted. I understand the control. My problem is I got a 30 day supply on 7/30/14. I had one pill left from my previous prescription. On 8/1/14 I opened the bottle and to my surprise, only 11 pills were in the bottle. The bottle stated 30. When I called K Mart, they told me to notice the two x's next to the quantity which indicate two pharmacy employees counted the number of pills and there were 30. I advised them there was NO such notation on my bottle. They said, 'oh well, there should be a 30xx, but there computer showed 30 pills were in the bottle.'They added that they do not make mistakes and that I will have to go 19 of the next 30 days without this anti seizure medicine. The bottle was in my possession and I can count. They put 11 pills in a bottle marked for 30. By law, my Dr. cannot make up the difference with a bridge prescription because of the drug being a controlled substance. I will never trust K Mart to be on my health provider team again.

Kmart exchange policy

I bought 2 bra without check at the store #3853 on 07/22/14, later I tried at home and not fixed to me. Then I went to the store #3853 on 07/23/14 with receipt, everything new and packed as original to exchange. The customer service employee refused to help me. She don't check the items and said: "we cannot changed bra because the exchange policy". I confronted her because the policy on the receipt DON'T said that, neither a letter on the intimate department or at the cash register. So, I choosed to talk with the Manager (Marianela Conde-Melendez), I waited for her more than 20 minutes. During that time she called 2 times the customer service employee to avoid talking to me. In one of those calls I heard the conversation and the Manager asked the employee: what the policy said? and the employee read to her in front on me. After that, she came with negative attitude and again without check anything she declined listen, help or gave me a good reasons why not. I told her: so, anyone can try the bra at the dressing room and put it back, but Kmart does not accepts mines that I bought yesterday with a $200 shop list, who decided to try at home and bring back for others. At the end she limited to said to me: we reserve the right admission! She never show me the policy letter before the customer choose to buy any intimate item, only at the end with the receipt or hidden at the customer service font desk. How a customer knows their rights? Very incompetent, challenging, not helpful and showing that do not mind losing a customer and leave satisfied. That's the reason Kmart has lost it's market. Never back again!

#1- What language are you speaking?
#2- Nobody is as blind as he who will not look... If the law of the land does not have a sign saying that you can not point a loaded gun at someone then does that make it OK?
#3- When buying something that you might not know if it will fit then why wouldn't you try it on.

And last... But not least... YOU WANT TO RETURN UNDERWARE AFTER YOU TOOK IT HOME

Kmart quality gone

I have been buying Texas Steer steel toe work boots from Kmart for over 10 years. I recently purchased my last pair online a Kmart website. I have done this before and as always was satisfied. The last time the boot material had changed. The leather, I think, is plastic. The laces lasted only one week. They don't even have the stamp of the steer on them any more. I'm very unsatisfied and now have to find another boot to use in my business. Why? It used to be a great boot for the price.

Kmart did not apply discount

On May 31st. 2014, I bought a pair of shoes and the offer was the second pair had 50% discount. This discount was not applied. My receipt number is: [protected] 5(31/14 6:38 p.m. I paid with debit card. For my own reasons at the moment I cannot go back to the store to complain. Let me know what´s going to happened.

1st- You should have noticed that at the time of purchase
2nd- You might want to call the K-Mart you shopped at about this
3rd- They are more than likely going to tell you that you need to bring in the shoes, the receipt and the original package

As far as not being able to get to them, I don't think they will really care as they are just a store and have policies in place that you need to follow for corrective actions to take place.
