Hy-Vee I believe she is the district manager

I went into the Saint Peter MN Hy-vee this morning February 21, 2024. We were in the store at 11:30 am. We had gotten $37 worth of food and wanted to pay for it our new UCARE healthy savings card that we received in the mail the day before. I was told we could use it for healthy foods such milk, cereal, fruits and vegetables. The card has a $50 value. That's all we were told. So we go to checkout and it only takes the cost of the bananas off. I said "We just got this in the mail yesterday and we were told it had $50 on it. It took off 86 cents. The district Manager came over and was very rude to us. She went through all our groceries and listed them off saying that " You bought cereal that isn't healthy" she proceeded to do this for everything we had bought. I was so embarrassed. It was so unprofessional. We do a lot of our shopping at this Hy-vee, and now I am considering going to Mankato to do my shopping since this was so embarrassing.

Claimed loss: I was totally embarrassed at a store that I am in all the time.

Desired outcome: A gift card and an apology from her.

Hy-Vee Pharmacy

I've been having issues getting my son's ADHD med filled for the last couple months and now it's gotten worse. I put in to have it filled last Tuesday 10/24 to have it filled because we were almost out, all it kept saying was "working with your doctor for approval." I called the doctor they never received anything from Hyvee. Now a week later 11/1 they still haven't filled the med and they cleared the refill and won't let me refill any of the meds. All it says now for all of them is Prescription is inactive which it's not because I called the doctor to make sure. This has been happening for months. The staff are rude and I'm tired of it. Not to mention I called and complained today. The lady that called me back left a very rude message. When I called back, they never answered and haven't called me back. I want something done about this!

Claimed loss: My business I will be transferring Pharmacies.

Desired outcome: My son's meds to be filled.

Hy-Vee Overcharged

Purchased pepsi products 11/28/2020 signage said 4/$11. Bought 4 and at check out did not see that they rang up at$4.59 each. Paid and left, then double checked at home. Called them, explained situation. Nobody else complained and they knew nothing. Had I seen it I could have gotten refund. This is Saturday, that sale has been running for days! Yeah can take receipt in later. Started looking at old receipts, and it is the same. Soda rang at full price. Only buy on sale so the product can change.

Hy-Vee Progresso Soup

10/27/15 Bought 2 cans of low sodium chicken dumpling soup at New Hope HyVee in MN. Pull ring broke off so lid could not be removed. Lid is set too far down from the brim for a can opener to work. Tried 2nd can. Same result. Have no idea if soup is any good since we could not get it out of poorly manufactured can Won't be trying Progresso Soups anymore. Also intend to tell manager of store.

Hy-Vee Fraud and cheating

The store at 200 South Locust was a former Eagles store. Last year when Eagles went bankrupt, Hy-Vee purchased the store. They said at the time that they were going to remodel the store and open it in a few months. That was over a year ago. Then a couple months ago they said they were going to tear the store down, put a new building up as well as a gas station. Aside from a Hy-Vee coming soon sign nothing has happened. I am wondering what is taking Hy-Vee so long in getting the new store put up at the 200 South Locust location?

Maybe Eagle's wasn't the best choice for shoppers, but for those of us living in the southern parts of Dubuque, it was the only grocery store in that part of town. I liked it especially after church, because it was only about 1/2 mile away. Now except for one store on the north end, all the grocery stores are out at the west end of town. So if we need a couple things from a grocery store we are basically forced to go all the way out to the west end, and deal with all the traffic on Dodge St (US 20) which is being made 10 times worse by the construction.

I like Hy-Vee, and I prefer it over Wal-Mart. But I wish they would make up their minds. Either get to work on the store, or sell it to someone who would do something. Leaving it sit does no one any good.
