Hotmail / blocked my mail id on forgetting password/ no way of retreating it

I have been blocked from my account & advised to set up a new account. This has been stressful, frustrating and downright inconvenient. I am disgusted by the 'privacy settings' Hotmail have implemented. I am the owner of this account & I have entered all the relevant details correctly & on numerous occasions. This whole situation has been incredibly distressful & unnecessary. I do not want to open a new account & even if I did you would still be preventing me from accessing important emails on my blocked account. I AM THE ACCOUNT HOLDER, I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING...
