Geicolies and unethical behaviour

Review updated:

Here what happened:
On Jan 2nd 2017, a truck tag# '' hit my wife car in Dale Mabry, Tampa Florida. The truck driver reported to the police officer having Geico insurance; Geico requested our help to get the police report to expedite the process. Now, Geico claims that the insurance policy giving to them is wrong and that the truck is not insured with them. Apparently, the truck was insured with Geico at the time of the accident, but later was cancelled to avoid penalties.See the Top 10 Worst Complaints in Riverview, FL

Now, Geico does not want to pay the fixing of my wife Honda 2016 Civic, but suggests we use our 'full coverage policy', so that later they can increase our insurance and we pay the deductible. WE HAVE A NON FAULT situation here...why Geico does refuse to fix our car with the truck insurance coverage?

We are planning to 'put a sign' in our car, referencing our Geico claim, displaying it while our car is not fixed (4 weeks now), this sign is going to be on the back of the car, right on the destroyed bumper.

There are several issues here, the policy in question may be active but that vehicle may not be on that policy or there is a coverage issue with this particular policy where coverage for the geico insured maybe disclaimed. There could also be an issue with payment on the policy from the geico insured where there may not be any coverage. So a lot of details are missing. Did they deny the claim yet, if so what does the denial letter say? Is it a liability dispute, coverage issue, policy issue?
