I continue to share my vehicle service records with numerous people at Geico, through multiple channels, to prove I drive my secondary vehicle only 2,000 miles per year.
They don't seem to believe me and keep charging me as if I were driving 12,000 miles per year. They asked me to sign a piece of paper with my current odometer reading, which I did, back in October 2022. I thought the matter was settled but in December 2022, they began overcharging me again.
For the last couple months, I've been emailing them photos, oil changes, smog certificates and I can't even get an acknowledgement to any of my emails.
Desired outcome: Refund the last 3 months in which I was overcharged. Correct my policy rate to reflect my accurate mileage.
Auto insurance policy
1- I did not request medical coverage; I uploaded my medical coverage documents. I accidentally selected a choice that says: no medical coverage because I have medicare instead of other medical coverage from work.
The policy has been initiated, assuming that no other request is needed. Then ten days later, the underwriter department changed something even though there was a document in the system increasing policy; then, I called customer service and corrected them. However, this 10-day underwriter department's checking and action delay has cost me 23.30usd, and Geico has charged that. Customer services, especially the Underwriter department, could be faster and wiser.
2- Same underwriter department had sent me an ADDITIONAL DRIVER HISTORY QUESTIONNAIRE for my 2-year-old daughter. Something is wrong with Geico.
Please be aware of it.

Refusing to pay rental coverage - missing from my policy but not removed by me
I called Geico to file a claim because my car had been hit. As we were wrapping up the claim, the gentleman I spoke to told me that I did not have rental coverage on my policy. I was surprised because I have always carried rental coverage on my cars. I asked him to check again, thinking he had misread the policy because I knew I had not changed anything on my policy. He returned saying that he was not showing rental coverage. I did some digging around of my own and realized that Geico dropped rental coverage from my policy when I changed cars. The Geico representative that I spoke to at the time did not carry over all my coverage from the old car to the new car, even though I stated that I wanted all the coverage that was on my old car to transfer to the new one. When they told me I was all set, I trusted that they had transferred everything. Now, I'm being told that because that person made a mistake and because I did not double check their work, I have to pay for the rental that I'm using. The kicker is that I have called them several times and they have never once called me back to say "ok ma'am, this is what happened." I have been trying to get this issue resolved for over a week and I only found out today, February 15th that they're not planning to cover my rental. This is unacceptable, especially since they can see that I was carrying rental coverage since I became their customer.
Desired outcome: I would like to have my rental car paid for by Geico because I never cancelled rental coverage, but I would settle for half the cost and to have rental coverage added back to my policy.

I am writing to you in regards to a Geico claim [protected]) I had on 11/21/22. I was involved in an incident with my kids in the car. I reported the incident to Geico as soon as possible, and I was assigned investigator Dan Vlahos.
Mr Vlahos started off the interaction by accusing me of lying, committing fraud, and threatening me, he immediately made me feel like a guilty party. He forced me to send him detailed screenshots of private conversations that I had with family members, despite me telling him that I felt that my privacy was being violated. Aside from the screenshots, he requested that I send him my phone logs. It truly felt like he had already decided I was guilty until proven innocent. I was compliant through the entire investigation, Dan always wanted more.
I have been a paying Geico customer for the past nine years, in this case I felt as though I was treated like a criminal. I did not feel that Geico was there to advocate on my behalf when I needed them the most. I am a registered nurse, a widow, a single mother, a paying customer. However, throughout the process I was made to feel like a hardened criminal.
I was forced to hire a lawyer, at a rate of $400 an hour due to the anxiety I was experiencing. Geico should not allow their employees to cause customers emotional damage, it defeats the purpose of having insurance. I should feel a peace of mind knowing that I am covered during a claim.
The car mechanic was not paid for his completed work until February 1, 2023. Which only added to the anxiety. I couldn’t get a car rental due to the “ongoing investigation”, and I was forced to take Uber to work. I have yet to be reimbursed for my Uber rides, receipts were emailed in December 2022.
On January 17, 2022, I received a call from Scott to inspect my vehicle, I was not notified of this in advance. The customer service is just not acceptable. Dan did not have the decency to even notify my lawyer that the case was closed.
I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I have not received assistance for a claim I made in January 16. They keep saying they’re working on it. I have a had a broken out back window since then and have been in snow and rainstorms. This was a hit and run and I am very upset no one has called me about this. I spoke to Collett again today and she wanted to give me the number for Greg’s supervisor. He has been terrible and so has she. I told her I want a manager to call me asap

I was rear ended by a Geico insured driver. The accident occurred at the beginning of the COVID pandemic and all were urged to avoid the ER unless life threatening circumstances. Attorneys were also not available and I ended up pursuing my claim without assistance. I received chiropractic care for some time, but when it was evident that the relief was only temporary, I consulted an orthopedic doctor, whose diagnosis showed greater injuries than the soft tissue damage the Chiropractor had reported. After considerable time, the agent chose to increase the Chiropractic payment to almost double the menial amount attributed to my injuries, ignoring the orthopedic doctor’s evaluation. The Chiropractor then put a lien on any settlement to ensure his inflated bill would be served, leaving me in need of a hip replacement and crushed disc between L2 and L3. I spent the last 2 years in constant pain, unable to perform basic maintenance or yard work that was previously easy for me. Geico has ignored my efforts via Twitter for appropriate consultation for a more fair evaluation.
Desired outcome: I have requested a Settlement that will assist and support my needs for a hip replacement, with more consideration of my Pain and Suffering than the menial amount they have offered.
Problem with adjusters
My name is James Williams, I have received the estimate from the shop to FOWARD to GEICO, but to no avail has anyone given me the correct information to forward the estimate on the work I had done, due to the adjuster wasn’t available cause he was with his family. New Home Policy & I did not know they cancelled it until I got me 2nd payment returned. Had to call to inquire why? They canceled my new policy, had to take photos if a metal roof area they questioned & never got back to me. Spoke to Karen multiple times who put me through to Okeisha’s recorder & in 2 months never heard from her. Karen says I am now out of reinstatement period & if they returned my calls it would not be. Said they didn’t get my photo for underwriters but Karen said they did but couldn’t tell if it was same area. It had a river in background, not hard to tell! Guy sent to take pictures spent 1.5 hours asking me to sell & set him up as a Maine Coon Breeder adoring my cats instead of listening to me. I was one who told him I had a tarp on roof but it was a drain clogged with leaves & I needed to get the tarp duwn & had it looked at. Put almost $500 diwn to prorate over 9 moths plus approx $17p/month but said they only reimburse $52?! Was given an email to send pics of statement showing charge instead of reimbursement and it is not a good email & failed delivery, beyond frustrated & definitely would not recommend. If you needed help you won’t get it!

Reporting claims not connected to me
In July 2018 I ceased my insurance coverage with Geico (Policy # [protected]) with my ex wife Lorna Eaton and son Zachary Eaton having taken out their own policy with you. However, you continue to link my name to the claims that they have made, resulting in my current Insurance cost being affected by the reports that you have filed.
I am calling on you to cease attaching their claims to my name and to make corrections to the reports that you have filed.

Poor customer service
I was in a car accident. I need to have my rental extended beyond the 30 days Geico will cover. The claim was made 35 days ago. Geico did not speak to the adjusted until 30 days ago. My car has not been repaired because I have not received a check that I can deposit to insure the Collision Company that they will receive payment. I received a 2 party check which I could not deposit because I can not reach the 2nd party. Geico has agreed to write out a new check which will be endorsed to me as well as the collision place. Due to Geico's delayed communication with the Collision Company the repairs on my car have not been completed. Geico refuses to extend my car rental until my vehicle is repaired.
In addition, after being a customer for over 25 years, the customer service extended was terrible. The representative I spoke to was extremely rude and condescending and boasted about the fact that she did not care if I reported her because she did not expect any repercussion for her actions.
I called the Geico Corporate Number listed on google to tried filing a complaint. The representative said that I would have to file the complaint with the Claims Department. I clearly stated to him that the complaint I was filing was about the Supervisor and staff of the Complaints Department. His response was that there was no one else to whom he could refer my call.
Unbelievable!
Desired outcome: An extension to my car rental. Also any staff members who interact with customers should not feel comfortable speaking rudely to their customers. These matters should be taken seriously and address appropriately.
Registration and tags
On December 19, 2022 my car was deemed a total loss by Bill the claims adjuster. Montrose Towing yard is where my vehicle was. I had stopped there to pick up some of my property on that Saturday the 17th.I was told to go and pick up my belongs from that vehicle that Same day(mainlyvtags and stickers) I was under the impression vehicle may have been salvageable, but I wasnt even given the courtesy to do so as my when I went to do so the vehicle was already on its way to Coparts auction and junked with my tags and parking stickers still on the vehicle. I couldn't get ahold of anyone as to where vehicle was for a couple days. so I contacted bill who contacted coparts auto in Baltimore. I was texted a tracking number. tags were sent FedEx with my incorrect address. FedEx did not have my full address so my tags were sitting for several days. eventually I had to have them sent to a location for pick up because of wrong address. I finally was able to turn them over to MVA on Jan 14, 2023 where I found out there were fees accessed for tags not being returned. I need this matter taken care of as well as compensation. 150$ is the Fee MVA is charging and I would like my refund. As I was doing everything in my power to get this to them while I was insured.

Repairs check not received on claim [protected]
I have contacted my insurance adjuster multiple times via e-mail and over the phone without success, Also I have submitted estimate of damages, replacement parts cost and labor, it appears exist a conflict between Geico's own shop estimate and my own damages estimate, but Geico's assigned adjuster has not have the courtesy to discuss this with me do at all, it is already 2 months since last contacted.
Desired outcome: I am willing to solve this matter as soon as possible and receive a check to perform the repairs on my vehicle damages, since it is very unsafe for myself and others to drive a vehicle that is not in safe optimal conditions.
General help on a claim
Here is the situation, On December 12th I hit a deer, or a deer hit me, an adjuster came to my house on Dec 16 to estimate my damage, The car was taken to the Ford Collision, and it has been there since. The adjuster put on the claim that my card would be fixed in 8 days. I received an email from Ford Collision stating that it may be until the end of January 2023 before they could look at my car. I received a message on January 5th that Ford Collision was looking at my car and found supplement to the original adjuster claim. I called Ford Collison to find out if the adjuster had been out there to see the new supplement but as of today January 10th no one had been out there. When I called Geico I found out that there is another individual that is on this claim that helps the original Adjuster with back log so I was told that they will not be out there to look at my car until January 12th. My rental is no longer being paid by my insurance as it is passed the 28 days. I have been a Geico holder since 1995 and in that entire time this has to be the worse experience I have had. I need my car as I am a single individual that is 70 years old, and I cannot afford to pay for a rental till the end of time. I am not sure what else can be done but I am not done complaining and I know you may not care but a new Insurance company may also be in the near future

Auto Insurance
My rate went up 50 percent for nothing, I had insurance there with them for 12 years. I had auto pay setup and this month bill up around 50 dollars without even telling me then took out more than I had agreed to as a monthly payment. I then canceled them and got progressive for almost 100 dollars a month less! When I canceled with GEICO they said they would refund my account my money in two weeks! What a scam company not only did they take out more money than I agreed to but they didn't even tell me my premium increased for no reason and then give me my money back in two weeks? If I was late on my payment two weeks they would be dropped my car in a second. GEICO us a scam and they lie on the phone they will never get a cent out of or my family and I warn everybody to not use them anymore, I already gave 7 people that have changed insurance companies to progressive like I did. I will be contacting Attorney General for the state of Ohio also

Do not get or sign for geico drive easy program. It's a trick for them to raise your insurance after the track your location for 3 months. No matter what they will find a way to say you brake the rules. Up to 2-3oo dollars a month. No joke.

I was charged for insurance on a vehicle that was stolen and geico was made aware of this. I asked for a refund and was told no because I needed at least 1 vehicle to be insured on my policy. So when I added my second vehicle my first was removed! I NEVER had 2 vehicles! I was debited for a car that was stolen, I had 0 vehicles! I removed 1 vehicle to add 1 vehicle!

Advised me to wait 15 days than go online to the Geico app to see if they would qualify me for insurance again, they pull this right before the New Year and Christmas, worse insurance I ever had !

Claim number 0654206180000001was filed thru Chrystal Hooks. Geico employee at that time. That was it. I sent her an estimate of only $1500 and never heard another word. It has been over a year. Geico would only cover the fence. then they didnt pay at all. So we know what is left. I will file 2 lawsuits next week. And i am 100% sure Ms Robinson will be there.Per our last conversation she told me she works at the courthouse for the judges.Fun Fun.
