Family Dollar manager is rude and unprofessional and steals

The Thermopolis, WY store is a complete disgusting dirty mess. I have never seen it so disgusting. The Managers there the dark haired short one and the blond one are ridiculously rude and stealing on a daily basis and I refuse to go through in there anymore. A nice gal worked there and quit as many before her did also cause of them stealing, being rude, and not doing hardly anything but pointing fingers and saying this one is not doing anything. Neither of them know how to count. The dark haired manager does nothing she stays punched in and lucky if she is working 20 hours a week. In which she is to work mandatory 56 hours so stealing $1000's every month hence the reason the prices go up and up for us customers.

Family Dollar discrimination and refused to sell me the products I needed for my kids

Do not shop at the Family Dollar store #09080 in Richmond Hill, GA on Mulberry Commercial. I wanted to purchase ensure for my kids due to the doctors recommendation and it was on sale for $3 and some change. When the manager Carrie was ringing up my items, the price came up to $9.00. I told her it's a sign stating it was $3.00 on sale. Carrie went to verify the price and she seen the mark down, but refuse to sell me all of the ensure which I had four. She only wanted to sell me two. I asked to speak with the manager and she stated she was the manager. I explained to her that I wanted all for price marked on the shelf and Carrie stayed she will only sell me two. I asked for the corporate number which she provided and she went back to the ensure to take down the sign. Carrie came back to the register and told me to have a good day. I said well I will buy the two packs. She told me to have a nice day again and refused to sell me the ensure which was for my kids and not myself. I have never been treated so horrible and/or been refused to be serviced at any retail store. I know she acted this way because of my race. Very poor customer service skills and I will not be supporting family dollar again.

Family Dollar not allowed to return stale food item.

On 12/30/18at 4:50 p.m., I purchased a box of Mrs. Freshley's Fudge Brownies at store # 02179 along with several other items. I attempted to consume one of the brownies that same day, only to find that it was stale and thus inedible. In the area of the store again on 1/3/19 at 4:30 p.m., I attempted to return the stale brownies. First, I was told by a tall, light brown skin man standing at the entrance greeting customers that I could not make the return unless I had the receipt. I had the receipt. At the cash register, I was asked by the female cashier, what was wrong with the brownies. I stated that they were stale, and thus inedible. She then looked at my receipt and said I could not return the item because I had purchased it four days ago. Then she said that the brownies could have become stale because I had opened the box. I stated that the brownies were packaged separately, I had only opened one package, but that by examining the remaining packaged brownies, she would see that they are are stale. Then she said I could not effect a return because there was only four brownies left in the box. I then showed her via writing on the box that only four brownies had been packaged in the box initially. She then went and spoke with the tall man. When she returned, she looked at the expiration date on the box and to the tall man, "The date is January 24th, 2019." Then she said to me "You can't return it because you opened it." In reply I said, if I hadn't opened, I wouldn't know that it's stale. Then I canceled some items I intended to purchase and left. On the basis of the above, I would liken to know if the employees in this matter acted accordingly. If they did not, what are you going to do to resolve this matter?

Family Dollar customer service

I went to the Family Dollar on Palm Beach Boulevard across from the Goodwill to get a four pack of beer I didn't have my ID on me they want to sell it to me and I said okay that's fine I'll just go to like Citgo but as I was leaving the store the cashier went and lied to the manager say I called her a [censored] and the manager told me never to come back and I was trying to talk to the management he started being very rude and mean and I was trying to ask what I have done wrong I had not said anything of that sort to the cashier I wish that they would pull the cameras do they get hear that what I actually said was thank you I'll just go to Citgo and get that. I do not appreciate the Family Dollar is treating its customers like this and when I asked for their names and also called the store to ask for the manager's name and the cashiers name they refused to give it and hung up on me I would like something done about it immediately as i will not go back to the store you lost a good customer and I want an apology for the way I was treated some way somehow.

Family Dollar $5 smart coupon refused

On Dec. 31, Cashier (Bryan) and Store (11676) Manager (Maria) refused to give me $5 off my $15 purchase of 3 Pepsi products and 2 Dorito products advertised in the Family Dollar weekly sales paper. (See my receipt below). Maria claimed I'd have to contact Family Dollar Corporate office to get my $5.00 refund.

I called Corporate 1-866-377-6420 several times on Jan. 2. All I got was an automatic system. I left a message.

Family Dollar the way they treat employees

I shop at family dollar on second street in Manchester nh the fenale assistant manager very young trwats the workers very poorly, also talks dowb to custoners, i have spoken to store manager on a regular about this and she does nothing because she is a good worker but yet i hear her complain about her on cobstant basis for calling and such. Yes i know its just a dollar store but alit of the employees work lots of hours and do work by thereself while management has them ring behind counter alone. But yet these stores barely have change for 50.00 or 100.00 dollars but management is always either on phone talking down to their other workers besides each other. Nobody should be treated bad i mean tge cashiers are smiling and the managers/ assistant managers constantly leave them alone or talk down to them and complqin about customers stealing and the female managers cuss some people out. You would have more business if this wasn't happening

Family Dollar manager

At 8:00 pm on New Years Eve 2018. I went to the counter to buy my stuff i explained to the cashier that my stuff was on Clearance age told me that they wasn't . I knew that she was new to the store bc i been going to this store over 3yrs and i never seen her before. She was very rude i asked to speak to the Nigerian guy who was the manager she said she was the manager. Where is it the customer is always right. I told het age must be new age said no im not. She was arguing with me so much she forgot to ring up all my stuff so she had to cancel out and start over. She was very rude and her customer service is bad she shouldn't be a manager she need to be in stocking. Or fired. As long as she is in the store i will not be going back in there.

Family Dollar rude asst. manager

I had a rude response from an assistant manager on a return policy. I will keep it short, the Manager did not want to refund my unopened electronic item. She stated to me, can't you read the sign behind you it is there so you can read." This statement is rude and unwelcomed.
Your policy begs the differ compared to a hand written note she referred to as a policy.

Family Dollar your employees threatened me as a thief

I went to the family dolar store at canal winchester to buy something when, i was checking out at the cashier i gave her 20 $ to pay and she gave me back 12.5. But the 10 $ was not good i didn't noticed until i got home. When i went back to the store to complain that they gave me a 10$ bill that was not good the old lady said that it's not true and the manager of the store too came and checked the camera and said that she saw the lady giving me the money and there was a 10$ bill on it but nothing prove that the 10$ i bring back was the 10$ they gave me. So they called the police and treatned me as a thief .that was very disrespectful and they told the police that they don't wanna see me at the store again .I have been a loyal customer of family dollar for years now and never had a problem with anybody there .I live clothe to the store .but she should that this issue she had with me is not only with me but with all my community.
The manager and the cashier don't respect customer and this will be an issue for family dollar

Family Dollar publicly humiliated

It's on film I was publicly humiliated in your store located in purvis Mississippi at 3:30 PM December 27 by the store manager and I think that it is vital to your company to have proper store clerks that do not play childish and publicly humiliate a innocent bystander... to which if there is nothing done about this situation I will and to call channel wdam...period...

Family Dollar verizon mobile phones +40$ airtime card

The stores all over Florida have the Verizon phones advertised as 74$ and when u buy 40$ airtime card the price gets lowered to 34$ HOWEVER, when you go to check out the discount is not applied. I went to 4 stores before a lady pulled out a paper that she had to scan to activate the sale? Why is this not automatic? And why do the other stores NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS!? Can someone please fix this and just make it automatic or at least teach your employees how to deal with this ?

Family Dollar store # 4196 fraud

I went to Family Dollar on 12/19 and spent under 10$. A week later my card was declined, when I looked at my statement I see Family Dollar has charged my card for an additional amount of almost $200. I went to the store with my statement and was told that there was nothing they could do. I was given a phone number for corporate to call. I've been on hold now for over an hour and no other number for Family Dollar let's you get to a customer service representative. I expect to get this issue resolved with all the assistance Family Dollar can provide, not be told to handle it myself by your employees and then be given generic phone numbers where I'm not even able to report the problem, let alone get some assistance. What kind of company policy is this? Since I have been unable to get assistance from the store, or reach corporate I will now report the problem to law enforcement.

Family Dollar stores disrespect for employees, attitude at christmas

I go to the Family Dollar in Pinebluff North Carolina. During this Christmas Season I hear a soul station nice and loud but no Christmas type music. I found Ice Cream on sale as marked on the shelf, I went to check out and the regular price came up. I said, that is not what is said on the shelf, he replied can't help you. I told him to go look, he would not, so I double checked, he said it must be an old pricing on a sale not taken down. Some customer service. I insisted he honor the price that is up. Belligerently he did comply.
Employees are that way for a reason. Store refuses to close on Christmas Day, even Wal-Mart closes. Employees need their work and refuses to Rock the boat. The word Family should be removed because they care about the all mighty dollar than families.

Family Dollar them telling me I had to leave

I went into the store at around 7:45 christmas eve night. I had just walked in and a employee was walking towards me and she said something, I wasn't sure what she had said I couldn't quiet make it out, it sure wasn't merry christmas. Then I heard her telling the other employee something and I heard the word backpack & dog, so that's when I figured out what she was saying as she walked past me. But if she had been as loud & clear as she was when telling the other employee than I would've known what she had said to began with. Then here she comes telling me no backpacks & no dog's! Which she didn't have to be so rude & she didn't have to cause me the embarrassment she caused when telling the other employee. I don't believe family dollar has such policies no backpacks or no dog's which he happens to be a service dog. He's been a bit under the weather lately so he wasn't in uniform, which as long as he's confined in something & not out & about then he doesn't have to be in uniform. But instead of standing there & arguing about it I left & went to the dollar general down the road where they've never had a problem with either issue. Then went to family dollar in east ridge and they didn't have a problem with either.

Family Dollar credit card/ bad customer service

I went to the family dollar store in Indian Orchard Massachusetts to use my credit card for purchase and the manager said they didn't take discover cards. Okay so I went home came back with my master card and they not taking my card. They manager was very rude and nasty towards me as a customer. As matter of fact they just refused to take my credit cards and the manager only hire race of Latin people. I never see a Caucasian and African American work at that store. So I'm complaining for refusal to accept my credit card and of discrimination.

Family Dollar former employee

I worked for the salt lake city, ut store # 7399. My manager was kris. During my time here I suffered a non work related issue and was unable to work all of my shifts. So kris had told me that she would work with me, and would just take me off of the schedule. So she did. Then she scheduled me again and I worked about a week. Which is roughly 34 hours. I let her know I couldn't work yesterday because my doctor said to wait until the next day for him to check my back again. I told her. She didn't respond. Then I wake up to see i've been removed from their group chat, and that my check was somehow only 4 hours? Wrong. She will not call me or text me back. Never told me she was firing me. And now has cut my hours on my check. She's extremely rude to customers, as well as the rest of the employees are. She swears at them, belittles them, and says rude things quietly about customers while they're standing right there. The store is a mess. When someone asks to use a restroom, they say there is no public restroom, when there actually is, they just don't want to go open the door with the key. This store needs new management and a general manager that doesn't act like she's 5 years old. Very unorganized and very unprofessional.

Family dollar wheelerburg ohio..9031 ohio river rd.. [protected].. Gave the cashier my bag to hold while I purchase items in store.. Came up to pay for perches... The cashier had given my items to someone else.. Spoke with to.. Manager at this store (vicky)... Said she just got there and new nothing of this was told to call corp... Called 12/19/18 left complaint message.. Called next day spoke with manager angie told her what had happen.. Ask her if they could give gift card 30.00 amt purchase for my items that cashier gave to someone.. Told me to call corp... I have please help my number is [protected]... Not very friendly want apology with the 30.00 gift card... Angie wheelsburg manager said needs corp ok? Thank you

Family Dollar scott tissue

I bought a 8 pack of Scott Tissue from Family Dollar in Staten Island in New Brighton. When I got home I went to take one out of the pack and I noticed it was damp and had mold. Mold doesnt just pop up over night so that means family dollar has a leak wherever they keep their stock and its building up mold smfh. I would go back and tell them but they will most likely not listen even though I can provide my receipt.

Family Dollar I am complaining about your employees being rude, coating and smoking drugs.

I was at store 5898 a couple of days ago and I saw these two people in the car making out and smoking marijuana! I didn't know they were employed there until they entered the store. I said something to them and the one with dreads stated she was the manager and I guess the other young lady was her mate. They were rude because I spoke on the situation. This is unacceptable and I will never shop or go to that store again. It was located at Winchester and Mendenhall in Memphis, TN
