eBay unethical behaviour

I purchased an item of clothing on ebay and was sent the wrong item, which the seller denied. After sending more photos they told me to send back item without tracking (knowing full well that items need to be sent back with tracking) and that they would reimburse the shipping fee. They have now claimed they didn't receive the item back. Ebay is now sending me emails saying I have not sent back the item because I cannot mark it as sent as there is no tracking number. I have explained this to multiple people on Ebay and they won't do anything to fix it and the seller has had no repercussions at all for this behavior.

I bought an item on Sept 16th and my visa went through for the price stated.Then I noticed that the price he had on the other items were much higher. But, I felt that it had made his error not me.So, I waited an contacted him after the first time he said he shipped it. He never returned my message Then he put on a new date for it to be here. That passed and I contacted him again.Then he not me cancelled my order and returned my Money I told him NO I paid for the item and don't want to cancel. Within minutes he cancel and said I cancel it.Long story short I called talked with a Ryan. He was very nice but, something should be done about this Do you ever know if these things are resolved or not. It also stated that I did not pay for the total amount stated That is bull I did.People like him should not be allowed to sell. I am still boiling about this. But, I should have but, did not leave him Negative feedback.

I would personally advise not yo buy off Ebay where possible. People are basically free to do what they want to buyers because Ebay does nothing about this kind of thing. The person who ripped me off has also done it to other people as I saw in the feedback section and Ebay won't do a thing about it.

eBay your whole operation

Ebay's entire operation is a scam. Sellers now face no repercussions for their short comings because Ebay pays for return shipping. Sellers merely accept the return with no penalty and continue on their way, while buyers are the ones wasting their time and gas money going to a post office waiting in line for 30-60 minutes.

My return rate, as a buyer, on Ebay has got to be approximately 90% which is pathetic. I even email sellers prior to buying to MAKE SURE I am receiving the proper item. They go so far as to send me a picture of what I'm buying. and then... I receive something different than pictured. It never ends. Ebay protects sellers so that they can keep raking in profits.

Another example...

I buy motorcycle parts quite often. 90% of the time I need to ship these parts back because the seller claims they are in good condition yet they don't work or are damaged and unusable. WASTE OF TIME!

One may say "but you can leave negative feedback..." No! You cant! I've tried this and once I mail back the item and receive a refund, Ebay deletes my negative feed back and allows the seller to restart this process of selling garbage to yet another unsuspecting buyer.

Your company sucks, Ebay!

eBay argus 300 projector lamp

I ordered an Argus 300 projector lamp from GEORGE TVDEN a dealer in Otis Orchards, WA. The wrong lamp was sent. I sent the lamp back to the dealer. He said he would send the correct lamp but I never did. I registered a complaint with eBay.

eBay asked me for the UPS return slip, I could not find the slip. I gave up and just ate the $16.+ dollars.

eBay micro usb for samsung galaxy s7 edge cell phone

Hi I, m being told a package i ordered through Ebay was delivered to me when i have proof it was not. I got refunded because i told them i did not receive it and right after they are saying i did receive it. They sent me a photo from China saying they did a investigation and said there is a number on the paper they sent in a picture that i will send in this complaint. I have other stuff coming from Ebay and do not want to be called a thief! Can you some how check into this for me Please. where this package went. Here are pictures of the last time i checked saying the package was not delivered and what they sent me saying it was. My mail goes to Blairmore Alberta Post office. Can you track the number to see where it was last handled to see who it was?

eBay product from mxtsky in china... of course

Item being sold is a an aquamarine gemstone, 925 sterling silver ring. Sent email to vendor inquiring whether the gemstone is real and if the ring is stamped 925. Recieved msg back stating that it is "not real 925". Never answered concerning whether the gemstone was real or not. Replied back to vendor stating that he should be reported to Ebay for false advertising. His response, "do what you like".

I reported this to EBAY, and they will do nothing. They will not remove the ad. So this means that others will buy fake crap from China and EBAY does nothing about it. I have come to the conclusion that EBAY is so greedy that they will do nothing to protect us from all the fake junk coming in from China. I have been stuck with rings stamped 14kt that are fake, jewelry stamped 18kt that is fake, and even 925 that is fake; and the majority of the gemstones are just glass. EBAY's solution...send it back. Has anyone ever tried to send something back to china? It is almost impossible.

I am very seriously considering closing my EBAY store and stop doing business with EBAY...and all I can say to buyers...BEWARE!

eBay buyer requirements

I have no buyer requirements regarding number of lots allowed to be purchased yet no one can buy more than two items from me. This applies to auctions, store or a combination of both. When a third auction bid is placed a message is received by the bidder that teh seller only allows two purchases in ten days. The same happens when a buyer tries to by more than two store items. Multiple items can be placed in a shopping cart and they are all shown but when the buyer goes to pay only the first two items can be purchased.

I have been on the phone with eBay several times over the past month and they are totally stumped. They can't do anything to help resolve the issue so I am not listing auctions as I lose money when potential bidders are prevented from bidding.

I added several of my regular customers to teh "Exempt From Buyer Requirements" list but they still are limited to only two plots per ten days.

eBay customer support tells me that they have never seen this issue and that basically they have no idea how to fix it.

Has anyone seen this issue before?

eBay an rv that is listed on ya site

I purchased an Rv that was listed on ya site when it was time to purchase I was informed that I had to send the money to ebay I sent the money and now eBay says I owe an additional $1000 for insurance to get the Rv shipped to me the Rv is still on ya site It's blue and white and for sale for $1500 its in Elberton Ga but apparently the lady that's selling it lives in Joplin Mo please contact me at [protected] and let me know if y'all can help me either get the Rv r my money

eBay k 9 immunity for dogs, pills

I ordered this product from LeonZone on Aug 20 and paid and never got the product delivered. I am told it is delivered which is not true. I have asked for reimbursement of my visa payment of over 100$ which I have never received. Can you get in contact with this seller and arrange for reimbursement? LeoZone should be eliminated from e-buy. Tks for our comment/help

eBay my son got scammed by a buyer

My son sold some things to a buyer. The buyer told EBAY he received the merchandise. So my son gave eBay the tracking # 9505500016188226000161. The merchandise was shipped on August 14, 2018. It was delivered on August 16, 2018 to a IN/AT Mailbox in San Jose CA. eBay said that since my son did not have the buy sign for it that he can not prove that the buyer even got the merchandise. My son sent it to the address he was given. So eBay took the 2700.00 out of my son's paypal account and gave it back to the buyer. So my son is out the money and merchandise. Here is the case # [protected]. That money was for my son's rent and to get food. He got kick out of his rental because he could not pay and has no money for food or rent. He called me upset because he has been sleeping in a chair at Full Sail University where he had been going to school. I live in Maine and can not get him the money he needs. All he wants is to either get back his merchandise or the money. That way he can get back in to a place to live. He just graduated from college and was waiting to hear back on some jobs he applied for and then all of this happened and he ended up homeless. Would you like your child to be homeless because he or she got screwed out of money/or merchandise that was owed to them. Someone keeping something that they did not pay for and will probably turn around and sell on eBay is not right. So he needs to get back the money or the merchandise. I think that seems fair. This went to a mailbox, so it was not let on a doorstep or next to the garage. It was a mailbox and someone had to give the buyer the package. Come on this buyer is just trying to get something for free. Now my son has to pay for it. I am sure that he has learned a good lesson out of this. Never sell on eBay!

eBay customer service

I opened a return case but the eBay app selected the wrong reason. I closed the case as I could not edit it and I tried restarting but you cannot do this. So I'm left totally unable to return my item that could potentially have cost thousands and been faulty on arrival.

Not only does eBay customer service refuse to do anything to help but you can't even reply to their messages, you have to start with a new contact us email.

When the seller criticizes and strongly criticizes the seller and that this is contrary to the policy of dealing with the site and in return does not protect the customer from the supplier fraud and the client is notified by the site in the case of repeated To submit a complaint or a request to close his account where a notice in the recent period a lot of products do not match the description is described as a new item is not so, the goods will be used by the failure has reached the seriousness of this site underestimating the customers of the site It is worth mentioning that the suppliers of the disease site Know how to choose the victim by sending the damaged or used parts outside the United States and the reason is that most buyers from outside the states do not claim their rights and this is a failure and shameful by the suppliers and also the site unfortunately I have dealt with you and wasted time and money for a fraudulent site

Its not so funny but when you look at listings on ebay that are american sellers, you always find ridiculous postage charges ! The charges are just super inflated to profiteer from the postage. I mean you could find a plastic straw for sale on ebay and it may be like 10 cents and then the postage is 60 dollars/pounds. It all kind of makes sense why the worlds fattest nation is that way...its just greed across the board !

You are correct, but that's not ALL American sellers on ebay!

I always look up shipping/postage rates and I charge accordingly. From what I've found, shipping rates on shipping company websites are never the same as they are when you actually take the package to a facility or office to have it shipped, it usually ends up being $5 - $10 MORE than what their website says it is.

Also, a lot of sellers on ebay (not just American ones), will post an item for a lot less than what the normal price is, only to add it to the shipping charges. So you aren't really getting a good deal, they just advertised a "false" price to get you to click on their posting and hopefully buy the item before you notice the shipping charge. In most cases, you aren't really getting ripped off, you are just buying the item at the standard price and paying standard shipping. They just have it "marketed" or "advertised" as a low, low price. But they add the rest of the price to the postage/shipping charges.

It's not really illegal, but it is unethical business practices. Sellers on ebay are not the only ones to do this either. Many companies that sell online do this. I wanted to order a couple of handkerchiefs from this online company because they advertised REALLY LOW PRICES. You would think $2.00 in postage would cover a couple of handkerchiefs, right? But once you get to the check out page and look at shipping charges, you end up paying full price for the hankies, plus standard shipping charges...it's just that they advertised a price, which isn't a lie...but they add the rest of that price tag to the shipping charges. So, regardless, you are paying full price for the hankies, not matter what price they post the hankies for.

But if it's legitimately a ridiculous shipping price, like $60 for a straw, then you need to call ebay and notify them.
They will ask you what seller and what listing, and they will deal with it. In most cases if they find abuse or fraud, they will immediately cancel that members account and all their postings.

eBay releasing funds from a sale

Today for the third time I spent 3 hours on the phone trying to get funds released into my account. I sell an item the buyer pays, I ship and you send me a notice that I will have my funds for in this case July 29th. But nothing ever happens. No way to do business. This item is $150.00 not $5000. The standard answer is you will have these funds in 21 days. What can one do to stop this from happening. It just happens to be I want to purchase another item with these funds. Regardless of what the need is what can be done to stop this from happening.

I purchased an item in Nov 2017 from ebay and then i had to returned that item to the seller due to not working properly. ebay promised me to cover the return cost and sent me a confirmation email but they deny it now. i have called ebay many times since that and each time they promise me to pay that amount or send me a voucher but when i called them this morning they deny it again. i even spoke to a supervisor but he didn't care. i have all those email confirming the return cost is in posses

I bought a camera from mr photo I received everything ok but the remote did not work when I tried to use it with my camera I bought another remote from camera world in Coeur D Alene where I live and it cost me 42.35 I sent the receipt to the seller he sent me some cheap knock off of the one I paid 42.35 for so I said I would like to send the camera back he never acknowledged that I told him I had found a Takstar microphone on amazon for 27.00 with tax probably 30.00 I told him if he would send one we could resolve the issue then you guys sent me something that said I was trying to extort money from him that is a bunch of crapp and I resent that I;m not a seller but I have been a good buyer just cause the guy is a power sell you guys took down my negative post and I resent that cause I told the truth

eBay customer service

You refuse to pay for American labor so we are forced to speak to someone in the Philippines who speaks broken English. It takes 45 minutes for them to answer the phone and they are completely incompetent. Yes, that is correct - 45 minute wait to talk to a human being on the other side of the planet. I guess it's a win win for you. You save money on their labor, and you refuse to hire enough people to answer the phone in a professional manner.

eBay ebay seller - hateful, rude, unprofessional

There is an ebay seller called "crown6348" that sells a lot of overpriced junk.

Not only does this despicable piece of human garbage sell overpriced junk, they send nasty emails to other sellers who are selling the kind of genre' merchandise.

These emails are hateful, rude, mean, unprovoked, uncalled for, and extremely unprofessional!

Do not do any business with this ebay seller!

eBay employee & a vendor

I purchased a pair of shoes cost 80 dollar's that would include the shipping. After purchasing the item I was told by the Vendor the item have been discontinue, though the problem is the vendor collected Pymt right away before giving me that the item was discontinue. I was told I'll receive my refund & yes I agreed. EBay management threaten my funds as they'll settle in the seller favor. Please handle this transaction I do need my Son money.
