DirecTV lmn

I got to watch the lifetime movie network but I haven't been able to enjoy watching because the same movies play over and over they dont ever play any of the older movies they use to show when lifetime first came on the air there are so many good movies based on true life events I dont know if true movie thursday has been removed but if your gonna say true movie thursday play different movies not same ones back to back I pay to see good movies and I love movies based on true life events and drama I dont feel like im getting my moneys worth

DirecTV equipment/programming issues

On 4/23/16 I noticed that all of my stations were showing duplicate programming for example western and eastern channels were showing the same thing, 1st of all I have been with Directv since 2003 and along with have to replace equipment within the last six months the service is really really awful, when I called them to find out why I basically got not answer, since AT&T merged/ bought Directv the service has gone DOWN.. I pay for every movie channel not to get duplicate programming on them. Im so over both companies at this point and I would not recommend either of them to ANYONE! !

DirecTV direct tv and at&t bundle package scam

I got the direct Tv + at&t hight speed internet bundle package for 44.99/mo. The offer letter was mailed to my home. I called the agent using the phone number listed in the letter. The agent told me the total price will by $68/mo due to the tax. I accepted the offer. The bill came to be $$96/mo. Call at&t customer service, they said it's impossible that I can have that offer. I told them that I can fax them the letter I have. They said they know that but my price can't be changed.

The above is a fact description by a regular customer of a reputable company. This kind of business practice totally changed my perception to AT&T and direct TV.

DirecTV direct tv driver

On April 11th at 6:30 pm I was ran off the road two times by a crazy direct tv driver in uncasville/montville Ct. The drivers plate # is 151ZAZ. He tried to pass me on the right going extremely over the speed limit as two lanes merged into one. Pushing me into oncoming traffic the first time. The second time, I was driving past him as he was in a right hand turn lane and he cut the vans stealing wheel to the left to me it look as if his van was
Going to pull out in front of me, then quickly getting back into his lane. All this with my 5 year old daughter in the car. I am not a subscriber to direct tv, but I doubt that this company wants this person representing them. This man was dangerous and thought his actions were funny. They could have been deadly.

DirecTV directv and at&t bundle promotion (a sham)

Back in November 2015, Direct TV and ATand T offered the bundle service to us with the understanding that we would save money, monthly. Actually, the ATandT bill increased to 500.00 in two months ! Direct TV added 323.00 this month. We have trying to resolve the astronomical charges. We have spent six to eight hours since, December 2015. Our bills are paid on time, monthly. This bundle promotion is dishonest and sheisty ! Direct TV blames ATand T and ATand T blames Direct TV ! I had an hour phone conference with a supervisor from Direct TV last night . He did verbally admit that they made a mistake with billing/double billing. I did tell him that the customer is being punished for their jobs mistakes. I am in favor for a class action suit.

DirecTV did not get $100 visa card

Promised #100 VISA card when sighing up Nov., 2015. It was to be mailed to me after 3 months service with no effort on my part. Also my son was to get $100 for referring me & I was to get $ 100 for signing up. Later was told that sales person made a mistake, Son & I couldn't both get $ 100. Deal then was to give me $100 credit on 1st few bills, which I received. I wrote check to son $100 fro referral. Then was told didn't get VISA card because I was to activate it on line.
Made several phone calls -usually on hold 45 minutes before speaking to anyone. Spent 2 days & several hours trying to activate online. Waste of time, going in circles. Told them to mail me the form by postal service & I would mail it back in. Form never arrived.
March 3, 2016 I called in again & agent said that she would call me back on my cell phone next day with ATT rep on for conference call to settle it. Call never came.
Called today & Angel said she would consult with supervisor & call me back on cell phone. No promises for when that will happen.

DirecTV tv service

We recently took over possession of my mother's home after she was placed in a nursing home. We decided to go with Direct for our service, apparently after taking my money, they decided since I was related to her (this is enough according to them) and she owed them money, now mind you she has advanced alzheimer's and has no idea she ever had DTV, that WE were linked to her just by virtue of being related and we could NOT have tv service from them, I asked to speak, repeatedly with Ms Carmen Nava who made this rule and they told me "THAT IS NOT HAPPENING"

It is a sad state of affairs when a company can link people together just because they are related and deny services based on someone else's issues who are not even household members any longer.

I want a response from MS Nava on this personally, not minions reading frm scripts.

Hi My name is David Johnson-Now I'm not sure when we got Direct T.V but since then every week for a year I have had to call them to reprogram our remote-now this time some finally said well we will send you a new remote-About Damm time I say!

Cablevision/Optimum pulled the same crap on me years ago.I asked the representative why didn't she force me to pay her grandparent's bill too while she was at it?
I HATE THEM!

DirecTV charged for no service

I talk to a direct tv gal in madison, wi. At the alliant center for a home and water show, not sure the name of it. She ask if I would be interested in switching to direct tv. I said if I could be set up with hd that I would switch.
She signed me up with an appointment for someone to come to my home and see if this could work, someone came to my house feb. 12, and I was informed that they could not set me up with hd... To many trees.. My address is w1948 pleasant ave. Markesan, wi.
I signed up for this jan. 31, 2016 and was billed feb.2, 2016 from my credit card for $26.55. This order was cancelled and I need to be reimbursed for this amount.

DirecTV cable internet bundle

On 12/22/15 directtv (Dtv) and att sold me an internet/cable bundle deal that has been heavily advertised after clear internet went out of business and dtv partnered with att.
On 1/1/16 att didn’t show up for the installation and I lost a day at work waiting for them. After hours on the phone trying to find out why they scheduled an appointment and didn’t show up – I was told they rescheduled it and notified me by email, however that email never came to me.
On 1/4/16 att technician showed up and said the internet speed I ordered wasn’t set up on my street, he went outside and looked around the house and then told me he needed to run a line from the street. Then he disappeared and never came back. After hours on the phone with att trying to find out why the technician showed up and disappeared – I was told his notes showed he never planned to come back and that the high speed internet I ordered wasn’t available on my street at all and no lines can be run from the street because the whole street doesn’t have access to their services.
On 1/4/16 - since I need high speed internet for my job, I canceled the entire bundle that was sold to me (Dtv and att) because there was no point in keeping the dtv when att couldn’t provide their part of the bundle. I had to spend hours on the phone trying to make sure everything was cancelled and I wouldn’t be billed, I was harassed about cancelling and everyone who talked to me from 1/4/16 until 1/8/16 tried to bully me into keeping the service (Over and over and over again).
On 1/8/16 att and dtv confirmed my entire bundle order was cancelled and I would not be charged for any of it.
It is now 2/17/16 and directtv, po box 54000 los angeles ca 90054 is billing me an “early cancellation fee” along with additional charges they claim are due. Early cancellation fees for a bundle service that should never have been sold to me and is not available to me where I live is illegal and a complete scam. I have been threatened by email, billing statement and verbally over the phone [protected]) that dtv is going to charge my bank account if I do not pay the bill. I told dtv on 3 phone calls today that they are not authorized to charge my bank account, that I have reported this to the better business bureau website today, the ca attorney general consumer complaint department and that i’m also posting it on social media websites. The only response the people at [protected] will give me is that their billing department will decide whether or not the charges are valid and they will charge my account and there is nothing I can do about it – and the people who make the decisions in the billing department will not speak with me.
As far as i’m concerned dtv and att owe me over 2 days of lost wages (Unsuccessful installation appointments and numerous hours of phone time I spent with them while being bullied, harassed, talked down to and threatened. Each time I attempted to try to stop this illegal billing I was held hostage on the phone by people who kept badgering me to reactivate my account at dtv for being a loyal customer since 2012, holding the billing over my head and threatening to charge my account if I don't pay the bill or go back to dtv.

DirecTV worst service in the world!

Back in May 2015 I signed a two-year contract with DirecTv. Unfortunately, I had nothing but problems with this guys. I have had about five technicians come to my house and my TV still freezes up. I called DirecTv customer service many times and all they say is that I need to sign up for some buyer protection for $50! I gave them enough money when I signed the contract and what did I get? There was no way I was giving them any more money. I will never do business with this horrible company!

DirecTV being dishonest about the rates (my rate triple in a one year time frame)

I signed up at our local Boat & Rv show last year when a directv spokes person promised to keep my monthly rate cheaper than my current dish network bill. I have been with Dish for a long time when the Diretv person signed me up for the Choice package that was $64.99 a month. He was also going to give me a $10.00 a month credit for one year and almost every month since January of 2015 my bill keeps going up and up. I received my current bill yesterday and me new total was $132.40. I called Directv and was on the phone 40 Minutes the first time and 45 minutes the second time, I was promised a supervisor would call me back and never did ever person I talked to gave me a different answer and different dollar amounts. My new total is now $50.00 dollars higher than my past Dish bill. I fell like I am being taken advantage of along with being lied to about everything. I regret so much leaving Dish network. Everyone please be careful before signing up with Directv. I am one very angry and upset customer. Bobbie.

I will never have Dish nor Direct TV in the future. Lie to you, increase the bill and tell you they sent a memo? Right in the middle of a contract term. I don't think so. File complaint with FCC.

DirecTV contract to stay with company

A few years ago, I called DirecTV for some upgrades, and I committed to stay with them for 2 more years after the upgrade based on their promise that they would provide an HD box for a new TV that we would be getting for our son. They never made good on their promise, and now they won't provide the HD box without another two year commitment. Under the law, when an agent makes a representation like this, it is binding, but they won't honor it. Due to their awful response to my calls, I cancelled the other day. They are giving away all kinds of benefits to new customers, and to some customers who cancel, yet they won't make good on a binding promise to a customer who has been with DirecTV for over 7 years and who pays over $100 per month for services. Rediculous! Even from their perspective, I cannot understand how they benefit from such behavior.

DirecTV xxx rated commercials

We had just finished watching Broncos changed channels to WGN 307 to watch Jurassic Park as a family, as we were watching - commercial came on saying "watch Jurassic Park and the Outsiders!" As the preview continued they showed two people having sex on a counter- standing up(the man) and the woman's legs were wrapped around him, they were less then human, really animals having sex in our living room. On our tv. in front of my son. I hate you all who think this is ok I was thinking it was a family show! How can they show this filth and get away with it? ? Who pays for the pro immorality of our sons and daughters? Who can pay me back for my sons and mines purity of thinking? I hate you Direct TV. I really really hate your x rated creepy advertising! This is how animals behave! not people. Who are you? Who can I go to? Who can undo the filth in our heads. What is wrong with you people! Can anyone answer for this wrong and apologize? I hate you Direct TV.

DirecTV tv service terminated, bill paid, now credit card is being charged almost $300.

I terminated my agreement with directv for to service in mid dec. 2015, because their equipment didn't get good reception where I live. After verifying that with a directv workman, I was told I would not be charged for cancelling before my contract was up, since they couldn't render service. I sent back my equipment in the boxes they provided in a timely manner, and paid up all bills. On jan. 15, 2016, I noticed a bill from directv in my email box and opened it to find a bill for $296.80. There was no itemization of what this bill is for, and apparently if it isn't paid, my credit card that I used to pay for their services in the past will be charged this outrageous amount. This is way beyond any monthly fee I ever paid to directv, and they have my equipment, so what do I do to stop them from charging me money I don't owe? My account number is/was 5008787

DirecTV mastec installation - theft of jewelry by installer

There is not a day that has gone by that I don't think back to November 2011 when I had a Direct TV installer come into my house to install a new cable line to for son's surprise Christmas present. Having a newborn, I stayed downstairs and sent the tech upstairs to put in the line. When I went to put on jewelry for church, I noticed that my wedding ring was missing (I hadn't been able to wear it after the pregnancy) and immediately called the police. They investigated and found the manager of the local Mastec said that the employee they had sent into my house (while I was alone with a baby) who be the most likely to commit a theft as he was always complaining of needing money, and was always late to work. I cannot believe this is the type of employee they continue to have on their staff and that Direct TV didn't think it was an issue or concern when I spoke with a regional representative. Although the technician had also put a hole in my wall while he was there and didn't say anything about it -- I saw that after he left. Direct TV did pay the $135 to repair the hole, but that's nothing compared to grand larceny. I had also reached out to the corporate offices at Direct TV but was ignored. The police checked all the local pawn shops but it was long gone. It was never recovered, and because my insurance didn't fully cover the cost, I have not been able to replace it. We contacted both Direct TV and Mastec and neither of them tried to remedy the situation, only falling back on the position of "prove it". There was nobody else in the room. It was definitely the technician. I haven't made any upgrades to my service as the thought of them in my house again just terrifies me. When I see them at the fair, or at the local superstore promoting their services, it is all I can do, not to walk over and tell every single person at the table what happened to me. They shook my belief in the goodness and trust of people.

I feel your pain, A direct Tv installer also came to my house to steal, late 2015, A direct Tv installer came to my house while I was away. my son was home, he stole my son's wallet with his drivers license and social security card, including my bank card, stole a bunch of my jewelries. I called the police they could not do any thing to help me. direct tv even refused to trace the employee, I believe he is still out there stealing from other customers. that's why I turn to the internet to see if there is any one that has been victimize by Direct Tv installers. I live in Mcdonough Georgia. if you have been a victim of this type of crime in my area, please feel free to contact me, maybe together we can take this criminal down. please others stay away from direct tv, I don't believe they care about their customers, nor screen their employees. lizscottusa@yahoo.com,

DirecTV wrong bill

We ordered Direct T.V. with the promise we would receive a month bill for $19.99 for I believe two years that included free NFL. I made the sales representative promise me that we would not receive a bill for more than $19.99 per month. Not one penny more. We never received a bill for three months. I called Direct T.V.-they had been sending the bill to the wrong billing address. I informed them of that. They informed me that our bill would be going from $57.00 a month to $102.00 per month. I explained to the women supervisor that our bill was only $19.99 as promised by their sales rep. She told me there was never any promotions that were $19.99 with NFL. She continued to tell me I ordered something I didn't order. I asked her to please stop calling me a liar. She said "well you ordered a different package" I did not order a different package. I asked the two sales reps I was dealing with to listen to the sales phone tapes. They said they could not do that. I told them to cancel our order. They informed me that I would have to paid a $400.00 cancellation fee. I told them I never ordered what they were saying. And that I would not pay a cancellation fee for something we had not ordered nor signed for. They informed me that when our 80 year old neighbor sign a paper confirming they had placed a dish on our roof. At that time our 80 year old neighbor signed a two year contract on our behalf. I informed them that our neighbor could not sign any contracts on our behalf - nor would she. She was asked by the installer to sign a piece of paper that he had placed the dish on our roof. The Direct T.V. sales person lied. The supervisor lied. Anyone that signed up for this promotional offer by Direct T.V. Ones that were lied to; which are many from the different WebSites- We are looking into Class Action Suit. DirecTV worst cable service i've ever had

From the beginning Direct TV is horrible. Three days after installation it snow, no cable. Had to get up on my roof and beat the snow off. Most of the day I had no cable. Every other month I had to call them about my bill being double. Kept charging me for NFL package and don't even watch football. Then my bill went from 74.00 to 123.00. Just got off the phone with them and they said, your one year anniversary occurred and promotional offer is over, then though I signed a two year contract! Horrible company, service and rip-off. Make sure you watch your bill. They should be paying me since every time it rains, I have no cable. Please don't go near this company. Very deceitful

DirecTV service

Do not sign with direct tv. Do research on them! Where are the lawyers for class action suits 1 pay a service fee for equipment and service issues but if you want to move a service room the min charge is $50 service calls 2 weeks tell you one thing and then another. 2 pay $300 for a dvr then they claim that all equipment belongs to them. 3 pay a monthly fee to have the dvr and then also pay a monthly service fee double charging... I get to pay them to fix their equipment 4. Slamming fees cancel a service... Watch out in a short time you can count on that fee showing up on your bill again. 5. Sign you up for another 2 years when you change anything about your service dvr broken they will replace it.. And stick you for another 2 years 6 patronizing staff anyone who has called direct tv knows exactly what I mean "we at direct tv truly care about our customers and especially you and let me assure you that we will do everything possible to resolve your issue. So let me say this... Pound sand a... Sh 7 bundled service and a problem with your bill... Well they know how to solve this blame the phone or internet provider and the send the customer round robin, back and forth until direct tv hangs up on you. I could go onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

DirecTV telephone harassment after cancelling service

We cancelled our service with this company a year and a half ago. Since then, they've sent people to our house a few times and called us repeatedly, sometimes multiple times in one week. When we tell them that we closed out our account and have no outstanding balance, they say they know, but they want to know why we cancelled our service and if there's anything they can do to get them back. When we tell them the reason--they kept hiking their prices, and we got a good deal for cable TV from our ISP that allowed us to bundle our internet with our TV--and tell them no, we're happy with our current provider (and hang up), they simply call again later. This is pretty darned annoying, and it's actually a bit creepy, as if they're stalking us. Is there any way to get them to stop calling us, since answering their question about why we cancelled and telling them to stop calling us isn't working?

DirecTV error in billing - placing bill in collection without notifying customer

Re: acct no. [protected] – direct tv account closed – february 2013 I am writing this on behalf of my direct tv account listed above. I have two accounts with your company. However, I was never informed that I had a closing amount on this particular account.In order to review the bill direct tv had to send me a closing bill online. I would have never been aware of this account until it appeared on my credit while financing a new home. My other account #[protected] which has been established since april 2011 is open and current. This is a big concern for my family and I because of this error. I may not be able to qualify for the home. Please help me to resolve this matter. I’ve enclosed a copy of the bill and my payment on the account.In order for my finance to be approved I need a statement stating that this bill was in error. Have been trying to get help this account for this account for two weeks. Please help trying to close escrow on my new home !
