family dinner of chicken and noodles
I picked up 2 family dinners from Bob Evans in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and paid 48.00...I was taking them to my sisters for food after a visitation at the funeral home. The dinners were a chicken strip dinner and a chicken and noodles dinner...we have bought them MANY times before...the problem was with the Chicken and Noodle Family Dinner ...there were 6 adults eating and the chicken and noodle family dinner was very skimpy...the chicken and noodles didn't even cover the biscuits and mash potatoes...I am very disappointed in this dinner...a family dinner should feed 3 people it did not...It needs to be taken off the family dinner section of the menu...I will not buy it ever again.
This occurred on April 15, 2018 about 4 pm I am requesting a refund for this dinner and the sides...
banana nut bread
I not one to usually complain about food. And I eat bob evans 3 times a week. I went on 4-7-2018 to bob evans on miller lame Dayton ohio. I had ordered 2 family size potatoe soups nd also purchased the loaf of the banana nut bread and a loaf of cinnimon coffee cake... Everything was amazing as always but the banana nut bread. My order read take out so after we had dinner and was having bread after I noticed the banana bread had a sour taste to it. I thought it was me but I had someone else have a slice and it was bad. It said the loaf was made 4-3-2018 ...this is a 1st time me ever having something that wasn't good from your restaurant. Everything else was very delicious. Just thought I would share my thought cause I had to throw it away.

Dined at your Wadsworth Ohio restaurant on Sunday, April 9, 2018. The food was horrible. I ordered the farmers breakfast. Received hash browns that were cooked in disgusting butter oil mix.. tasted bland and greasy. Cold rye toast and under cooked French toast. I've been eating at Bob Evans most of my life and since they were sold the food has drastically declined in quality and taste.. Yuck... I will not be eating at your restaurants ever again. So disappointed.. such a shame they sold out...

We arrived at the restaurant at 6pm today 4/9/2018.. There was no line for waiting and the restaurant was not full. We were seated promptly and waited around 15 minutes for our waitress. We ordered drinks and our meals (a Chicken Salad and Meatloaf meal). We waited 45 minutes more and our food had not been brought to us. My wife observed our waitress back in a corner on her cell phone. A few more minutes and our waitress came by and said she had been taken off the floor and someone else would bring our food. Fifteen more minutes and our food still had not been delivered. Finally after more time a waitress named Tina brought our food which she said had been sitting ready for delivery to us for some time. The food was not warm and we complained about it to no avail. We decided to eat it and while we were eating the manager came to our table and asked if we were satisfied and we replied that we were not. He offered no retribution to us. We eat at that location around 2 times per week and the service there has been declining steadily over the last few months. I would have at least expected a discount from the manager if not at least one free meal, but we were offered nothing for spending an hour and a half in the establishment. (twice our normal time in there)
poor service
On Sunday, April 8, 2018, at 4:53 PM, I called Bob Evans, 1111 N Countyline St, Fostoria, OH 44830, to place a take-out order. I ordered a quart of chicken-n-noodles & a hamburger plain w/french fries. I was told by the employee that they don't have plain hamburgers. She proceeded to tell me of the three different kind of burgers they have but no plain hamburger. I explained that my husband & I were in the restaurant a few weeks ago & my husband ordered a plain hamburger & fries & had no difficulty ordering it or receiving it. The employee told me that they can't do that. I asked her what was so difficult about making a hamburger plain. I told her to forget the order & hung up. This is not the first time something like this has happened at this location. It is however, the first time I have made a formal written complaint. I have complained in the past to the store manager or shift manager. I feel as though this restaurant has gone down hill over the past few years. Quality & service is not the same as it used to be. There is no pride being taken by the employees. I have given this location all the chances I can to correct their issues. Another loyal customer can take no more. I am sorry to say that I will NOT be a patron at this Bob Evans location again.
I had lunch today at your location on Schecter Drive in Wilkes Barre PA. As I was eating my meal, I happened to look up at one point and saw thick black mold particles covering all of the air vents in the ceiling. I called it to the manager's attention (who was a young girl) and she first tried to tell me that it was "just a little bit of dust". When I pointed out how thick it was, she then said "oh, I guess we'll have to clean it up then" and she then walked away. I immediately got up, paid my bill, and left. I also will be reporting this Bob Evans location to the board of health.
the sandwich sausage patties
I bought the 6 count sausage sandwich patties at meijers store about 2 weeks back when I went to use it this morning it had greenish black spots on a couple of patties. I can not take back to store for I don't have the receipt anymore. But it looked like mold the expiration date is may 2 2018 lot number from what I can read is 952 L6OHD0070 is how it looks on package. There 3 out of 6 that had on it.

I went to Bob Evans In Joliet Il this morning for breakfast I waited for 10 mins and then told the girl my grandaughter and I would sit at the counter even though there were tables open. I went to the counter only to find all dirty dishes all over the whole counter. We sat there for 20 mins while waitresses and the manager had gone by us several times and did not even acknowledge we were there not did they even attempt to clean anything. I got up and went over to the hostess and told her this and she asked if I wanted to talk to a manager. I told her yes He came over I told him all this he says so I will get you a table not concerned at all. We sit at the table the girl brings us menus asks us what we want to drink. I opened the menu that was totally disgusting with food spilled on it. I was telling my grandaughter about this when the waitress walked up and she said the hostess is supposed to clean them and I handed it to her told her to give it to the hostess and she told me she didn't like my attitude. We had a few words she started crying and told me she was going to get the manager and was not coming back to my table that I did not know what she was going through and stormed off. We got up and left at that point. Being in there almost 45 mins and still have not eaten. To me this is disgusting and not acceptable. I will never walk back into that place again. That manager is very lazy also. He just stands around
frozen pork sausage gravy and biscuits
I routinely eat your frozen pork sausage gravy and biscuits, about 3 times a week. While I absolutely love your product, The black plastic tray it comes in leaves a lot to be desired. Almost every time I purchase your product, the tray is cracked, making it impossible to microwave without leaking all over! Please can you address this issue? I am tired of having to transfer it to another vessel to microwave. Since this is a convenience meal, the cracks in the tray are making it very inconvenient. Thanks so much!

You have an employee who works for the Bob Evans on McKnight Road North Hills Pittsburgh Pennsylvania her name is Meshia Ray. I wanted to complain on her for the lack of customer service she does she leans on her counter laying on her elbows not doing anything all day she calls off continuously. I called the Bob Evans itself yesterday to complain many times on her she continues to touch her body in the bathroom and then go serve food or touch things that could access someone's mouth after being touched silverware Etc anyways Ashley and Dan who works there are supposed to be. managers they are buying Percocets and xanax bars on the shift while they are at work also Ashley waits for the cook in the back to take a break and then she leaves Bob evans and walks outside to meet him she does every single time doesn't fail. I am a regular customer I come in there gradually . Most of those girls touch things touch their hair and then go and touch the food here is a picture attached that Meshia Ray took this picture inside of the above Evans bathroom after touching her hair Etc the complaint never got filed when I called and they kept hanging up they are much on her side trying to save her because she is the one selling them drugs but I honest to God would never filed a complaint if it wasn't true if you don't do anything now just please look into it I just need you to look because it's true and fast food or restaurants should never be like this please take this all into consideration in the only reason I would know any information about what's inside of the store is because I know others who work there that knows the real deal that goes on the manager Dan attempted to try to call me back to not have me file a complaint.

I ordered the cod dinner with stuffing, mac n cheese and rolls. When my dinner came out the mac n cheese was not with it. When it came out I had to send it back to be reheated. The server forgot my rolls. When I mentioned it to her she brought them back to the table. They were both squished. The server was nice but she had way too much on her plate, along with having too much fun with other co-workers! I asked for a box and had to wait quite a bit of time for it. Forget the check. I had to walk up front to get it myself. Then to finish it off, the girl at the register never asked me how everything was. I would have told her but she didn't seem to care. I love Bob Evans. I go there often. I suggest you get better servers and cashiers for this store. It is a Friday evening and the restaurant was not even half full. Maybe this has something to do with it? Your employees need to have more and/or better customer service training. I will not be back to this one, even though it is very close to me.

terrible service
We stopped for a salad after leaving the hospital before heading home. It took us 20minutes to get our waiter to take our order, watched our food sit up there ready to be served for another 10 minutes, he went to get us each a refill, he forgot. This service was beyond terrible. There were servers all around us doing nothing. I realize it was late in the evening, we arrived at 8pm but they were still opened and we should had been treated the same way as the 8am customers are. Not going to this restaurant again!

My wife and I went in to have breakfast. There were people all over the lobby waiting to be seated. We had the hostess put our name on a list and requested a booth. There was nowhere to sit or stand in lobby, so we went outside where there are three benches located. We waited outside for about 20 minutes and then we came back inside since we noticed an empty bench in the lobby. We noticed that everyone was being seated but us. I went to check with the hostess and she stated that she called our name, but no one in the lobby answered. I asked her if she ever thought to look outside. She stated that she didn't know she had to. I said to her that she needed to use intercom system. She stated that it doesn't work. I said that they either needed to get it fixed or remove the benches from outside. She offered us a table. I was really getting angered by then. I said that we always ask for a booth and you gave our booth to someone else. I said that I was leaving and never coming back. We left.
bob evans original mashed potatoes

This past Saturday (March 17, 2018) I purchased a package of your Original Mashed Potatoes for my St Patricks Day casserole. After heating the potatoes in the microwave, I used a spoon to scoop the potatoes into a dish. While scooping the potatoes, I found a large piece of white machinery in the potatoes. I searched the rest of the potatoes for any other pieces of white pieces and did not find any - it was a bad surprise and I was nervous to eat the potatoes, as if my guests or I bit into that piece of machinery - it could have caused major damage to our teeth and mouths! I threw the potatoes away and took a picture of the piece of machinery (attached below). I thought I should let you know so this does not happen again.
broccoli and cheese
I was expecting to have broccoli pieces, but had what would have came form a can as cream of broccoli not a side item. I bought this at Krogers last weekend. It was the first time I bought this. I get other side items, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese frequently. I was extremly disappointed in the quality of this product. Even my dog looked at it like " what the hell do you want me to do with it?"

We were at the oxford oh bob evans restaurant on 3/13/18 for dinner. The service was very low speed, floor dirty, my glass of water felt dirty, silverware not clean, my grilled chicken on my salad was like jerky, our waitress was a nice girl, seen her before there but is very under trained, the gentleman busing tables honestly smelled like body order everytime he walked past our table, very strong. The entire place is run by kids, I did see the manager but was not impressed. We have dined here several times prior to this day and found our experience to be similar if not worse. I'm so disappointed in this bob evans as this one is close to my house and bob evans is one of our favorites. I would eat at a bob evans anywhere else, but this bob evans is the worst i've ever been to and i've been to quite a few. When it first opened it was wonderful, it has really gone down hill. I hope these comments help to better the restaurant, improve training of staff and quality of service and food. Please believe me when I say, I am not a complainer at all but I will not return to this location until it improves, I will drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to another. Thank you for hearing me out.
macaroni & cheese
We usually love this product. Yesterday we bought the 20 oz. entree at Kroger's. Tonight I fixed it and it was awful! It was very mushy and like glue! The use by date was 04/01/18 KCL3.
Just wanted to let you know as this is not at all like the product we usually buy! It is pricer than most other mac and cheese entrees, but it is usually the best!
I also purchased the Macaroni & Cheese, same date 4/01/18 code KCL3, in Hartville Oh. It was very unappetizing looking, very mushy.

My family and I usually love bob evans. This particular day they had a pretty steady flow of people coming in. It took us about 25mins to be seated then waited about 20mins just to get our drinks! Pretty frustrating but we ordered. Once our food was recieved about 30mins later, most of it was all cold and half was wrong. We did let our waitor know and he was apologetic. We continued to eat anways due to being hungry and already waiting long enough. After we were done the waitor had split our bill up. We get to the register started paying then in the middle of paying we were told by the manager that we needed to go to the next register to pay. Why? We have no idea. She then had an attitude ringing up both bills. The one bill amount changed when she moved registers (not sure why) luckily we caught the mess up. She did not give the correct amount of change back so while waiting and explaing she owed us more money not saying a word just rudly gave us the correct amount. Shes supposed to be a manager? She was horrible! Bad enough the food was cold/wrong and took forever to get. But she just topped it off. Will not be going back there
home fries, restaurant style, paprika & onion seasoned potatoes
I was making a breakfast cassarole this morning using these potatoes, bob evans hot sausage, fresh eggs, green onions and cheddar cheese. When I opened the bag of potatoes and tasted the seasoning in the potatoes I thought it was very salty. I proceeded to make my dish only to find out that it was so salty that it was un-eatable. Why so much salt? Ruined the entire breakfast and had to be thrown out!

I ordered family size potato soup, 6 rolls.. When I got it home, went to pour it into bowls for dinner, it was basically a side dish of cubed potatoes with sauce. It was nothing but a ton of potatoes, no juice hardly at all. We couldnt eat it, but a few bites, tried to dip our rolls into it, but again no sauce. Also some of the potatoes was soft, some still hard. Also, I ordered and paid for extra bacon & scallions, didnt get that either. Was not good experience, and I ended up having to scramble around and make something for dinner. I have my receipt to send to you. I tried call to manager, was put on hold 7 min...so I hung up, again, I was trying to whip something up for my kids to eat.

I have no idea y I went back to bob Evans on miller rd against my better judgement I went back by the way grandblanc bob Evans perfect in every sense of the word k back to bob Evans on miller rd once again I went against my better judgement we get there at 6 we were waiting to be seated we didn't see anyone after 5minutes or so a young lady came up and said u can seat yourself any where you want odd but k we sat down and I asked my son where did the waitress go he said mom she is sitting over there in the glass area eating when she came we asked for coffee she brought the coffee took our order and went and sat down to finish her meal I'm like what's going on. She brought our food and we didn't see anyone after the for at least a good 10 minutes only reason why we seen her she got up to greet another employee that she called her mom one of the ladies began sneezing now I kid u not the younger girl went right back and finish eating the other employee went in the back out of the back grabbed her some food and sat down with the younger girl and ate now I kid you not 2 gentlemen came in waited a good 10 minutes before they was recognized the young lady came and told them they can sit were ever they want they sat by us we looked at each other I was shocked and so we're they I left a voicemail and the manager called and ask me what happen I began telling her and she went on to tell me I'm going to check the tape at least 5 times or more I'm like what's going on ma'am Im calling to complain about the service that I received long story short this lady makes no sense to me never in life will I ever go back to the bob Evans on miller read
