Aaron's Received used furniture for new furniture!

Aarons have tried to rob me blind and given me rude customer service. I went into a contract with Aaron's on new merchandise and ended up receiving used furniture. Also on the day of delivery, the used furniture was damaged. I had to go back and forth with staff, convincing them that the furniture was not brand new. Finally the actually new sofa and loveseat arrived, but unfortunately the loveseat was damaged. Aarons was notified immediately and the best option from Aaron at that time was to leave the original used love seat, which did not sit with me well. The sales people were very rude as well as the general manager. He had even threaten to come get the merchandise and return my money, in a horrible tone. Being fully aware of the fact that his store screwed up. I eventually went over his head and complained to the regional manager. The regional manager was no help and he turned around and did what the gm had plans of doing. In which was unconvincing me the customer. He never addressed or apologize for the mistreatment I received from store #287. I would never purchase from Aarons again. They are the worst and they treat their customer like garbage.

I have been a customer of Aaron Sales and Lease for about three years. How stupid can I be, they are the worst employees out there. They harass you even if you are one day late, but it doesnt matter to them if you are waiting for your tv to get fixed after three months with a smaller version of the one you have. They stand in the rain, waiting for you to come home, harrass you at work, and all I owe now is one payment left on my tv after paying two years on it. And they will not listen to why you are two days late, they want the merchandise back so they can start all over with the harrassment of another customer. I do advise people just go to the other rental places, not this one in Dickson, Tn. Cause you will have to speak with a very dishonest, rude, nasty man named Dave. If they try to harrass me again, they will get a shotgun shoved down their throat, they better not even think to come on my property.

According to the Aaron’s company values #1, 2, & 3 which states: A reputation for quality, integrity, and responsibility, Treating our customers as we would want to be treated, & Development of an outstanding leadership team, is not being met by your store (C0015) 6708-B N. 56TH St Tampa FL 33610. All of your employees, (with emphasis the females) in that store should be drug tested. Marijuana and other illegal substances are being used. What’s troubling and causes great sadness is that even the manager of that store is aware of the illegal drug usage by those employees and has not done anything about it. It wouldn’t be surprising to me if he is partaking in the usage of illegal substances.

I would hope that the corporate office will take action in fulfilling your oath and values. The reputation and integrity of your organization can be shaken if nothing is done. I can guarantee you once the drug testing is done you will have a few less employees in store C0015.

I've dealt with Aaron's for a short time when I first went there they were very nice so I referred family members to them only to have a new lady take over managing the store and becoming a complete *** My family members returned the items and will not do business with them again. Know I've dealt with this lady and I feel the same way if I hadn't paid so much of my money for this item They could come take it and shove up there *** when this is paid off I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!

The abingdon based aarons is the rudest people i have ever dealt with i dealt with 2 diff.people the lady handed me a 50.00 gift cert.and said i could redeem it on my first payment...i went in to pay my pmt.they didnt know what i was talking about, they said i had to rent another item to redeem my cert.they could not explain this one to me.the mgr.got very rude and practically threw my receipt at me after doing a little computer work to take the cert.amt.off by saying it was friend referrels.this is not the first time i have been treated like this by them...i know shame on me for going there, but that was the only place i found what i was looking for.their nice as you walk in, but after the contract, , , , beware

hi my name is russellmckinney i was renting at arrons untile 10/01/09 i paid off a 42 lcd hdtv flat panel i had 60 days after that will my tv was messing up the speaker went out they pick it up on nov 16.2009 to have it fix i did not get it back untile 12-18-09 and its not fix at all i wont something done about it they give me a loaner but still they did not fix my tv at all when i call her they say my warranty ran out but they had it for a month to fix my specker and they didnt. thank you for your time

On Monday 02/09/09, I set up a rental agreement w/Aaron's Sales & Leasng in Camden, SC. This was that they were to bring me a Queen size bed. When delivered it was a full size. My husband called on Saturday 02/14/09 and told them of this situation. They kept telling him that the lady was out of the office and would call back. When they did not return his call he called back there. The manger (Marcus)answered and was very rude, telling my husband to stop calling his d___ store. I think this is very un-professional and very poor business. I was so upset that I was ready to tell them to come get everything else that I was renting to own. The two young women that were there (Shannon & Brittnay) were very nice and tried hard to make things right.

Ceregy has put information on our credit history that is not true. they said that we have a bounced check with Aaron’s rental, we are still paying Aarons rental for our computer, we never paid with a check who are these people, I will not stop I will call them day and night I am writing my congressman or woman I am writing every body I am tired of people like them missing up my credit report. I will contact a lawyer on this because I know I am not the only one. Enough is enough they messed with the wrong woman.

back in July of 2009 my daughter gaves birth to twins .. we went to aarons to get a washer and dryer set of the deluxe model and bigger..we had dealt with them with a tv and was very satisfied with them at that time however dealing with them with the washer and dryer has not been a good experience. for 13 months we made payments of 178.00 which is 2314.00 and we only did an 18 mth lease with them, which left us a balance of 890 dollars.we had to move out of our house we were in and they were kind enough to rewrite our contract for a lil less then the 178.00. my husband got laid off and we continued to make payments even though some were less then they were suppose to be..they are still saying we owe over 1000.00 dollars on this and if we pay another 1000.00 we will have pd.almost 4000.00 for this set..i could go to a store and buy them for 1900. 00...the management and staff have benn very ignorant and demanding and showing up on my door step and making threats also..we also have had problems with them taking money from our account and over drafting us..and not be willing to give it back to us ..thiis was done with no authorization from myself or my husband..please do something about this matter..its getting out of hand

On October 7th 2010, I was sitting at home at my boyfriend residents his children and myself, and my pastor, there was a knock at the door, it wa Aaron"s the time was about, 6:20 pm, I answered the door and told them that Mr. Hampton was not at home, the sales representor proceeded to call the office I'm assuming, and told them that I can't return merchandise with Mr. Hampton consent, and I told him have agood day and closed my door, shortly after about 10 minutes another knock was at the door, agin I answered, and it was Aaron"s store manager I think his name was Adam, not sure, but before all this keep in mind he was already on the phone saying he knows Mr. hampton is home, because his vehicle was here, although his son has the vehicle, going to waork on this day, Mr. Hampton works out of town in which transportation is provided, but anyway, after the manager came I told him the same thing, Mr Hampton was not at home, and therefore he begin to tell me I wa a liar, keep in mind I had guess and neighbors, who was hearing all these things, and therefore he begin to telling that I was apart of some type of third party something because I want allow them to pick up merchandise, so he yells at me tell me to call Mr. Hampton, and along with he calls Ms Emma who Mr. Hampton is buying the house from, tell her all kinds of lies, then make a comment to me, we need to call our mortage company because we are behind with her too, but before this conversation, Mr. Hampton son was trying to leave out to go back to work, do you know that kept him blocked in and would move there transportation, I had to go out there and make them move and tell them its against the law to hold someome hostage, and then that's when they made the threat of I guess camping out in front of the resident until, the product wa returned, they sat in front of my house till 7:57pm, making threats saying this and that, and threw his cell phone to me to call Mr. Hampton, and I'm telling them I'm not on this contract, why harss me, and until they reah Mr. Hampton there is nothing I can do...but to make this long story short, I know by law it is wrong to handle customer in hat manner, to harass them at home, if you don't reach a person by phone or by mail, don't come to people houses, to pick up product until you have something arrange by you and that person, Mr. Hampton rather be contacted by mail, I hope we dont have this problem again, I think you need to find more professional people to put in your work place, because he is going to cost Aaron's alot.

I worked at Aarons for two week. The first week was training, where they teach you words to deceive people, like telling the customer it's time to 'renew their lease', instead of 'bill' or 'gently refurbished' instead of 'used'. They take advantage of the most vulnerable in our communities. We had roaches, bed bugs and rats. I told a friend of mine that I was working at Aaron's and she told me about getting furniture there and when the delivery men came to her house, one of them kept flirting with her and getting in her personal space to the point that she called her mom and asked her to stay on the phone with her until they left. A week later, she was attacked at her apartment. We never found out who it was but it gives me chills. I had to quit. I'll NAVER step foot in another Aaron's. PLEASE women, think twice before you 'lease' from these people. Also, they expected me to go out even at night alone and collect money or merchandise. I was barked at and lunged at by pit bulls on chains.

Aaron's Bad communication

I have purchased a few appliances from this company and they do not stand behind their word. They change management so often it is hard for them to know what is going on. They have you wait all day for them to pick something up and do not show. They forgot so you have to arrange to be there tommorrow or the next day. You pay enough for their crap that they can at least be there promptly. I will finish paying off the refrigerator and will never refer anyone there again. Because of poor management.

Aaron's Demand on payment for dead horse

To whom it may concern, We where renting to own a stackable washer/dryer combo and the day it was delivered the men where having trouble getting it in to our mobile home into the bathroom from the back door.Well first all when they bought it up the steps the one person lost his balance and fell backwards and the item fell on top of him, my husband and i helped to get it off him. Then they put it into the bathroom scratched up and bang up. Any how wwe paid faithfully 4 months when the washer stoped working it took them a month to get out here to check it out, then they said we had the line down to far in the pipe which they hookedit up and it worked just fine for a while then the water just kept going threw the tub it would not stay filled up! then after that was so called fixed the dryer went compute, it made such a real loud noise then we heard caboom the dryer wheel screws feel out of the wheel when we thought may be it was the belt,We Called them trhe day before my 50.00 payment was due we have been trying since december 1 to get some one out here to look at it but all we did was get the run around.and calling numbers and telling them if we dont pay we have broken contract.what gives them the right to call reference #.They broke the contract we didnt!How are we in fault?One sales person don"t know what the other is doing!

The regional manager is more than likely the "Owner" who will not return your calls, and nothing will be done about your complaint. I found this out twice, two differnt stores! I tihnk will all these complaints from all us of here we should look into filing a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT!

Aaron's Discrimination and illegal activity!

I am a formal employees of the Aarons store in Coolidge. The reason why I am a formal employee is because I refused to take part in any illegal activity in the store. The General manger had several illegal copies of movies that were not even out yet as well as movies that had sex scenes and vulgar language. I explained to the GM that I did not think that it was right to have this in the store, she did not remove them and continued playing the movies. i called the Aarons complaint line and reported the incident. She was confronted and was advised to remove, which she did but what concerns me is that maybe I should have called the police. Her illegal, unethical behavior continued. She was taking money out of the till and we were always short. She discriminated against Blacks and called them nasty "N" and if one were to fill out an application she tore it up and threw it away. Once a Muslim women applied for a job and again the application was thrown away and her comment was - "this is a law suit waiting to happen. I do not want those kind of people working for me." There was so much more happening in that store and it seems that no matter how high up I placed my complaint - I was not heard. She is the most unprofessional person I have ever come across. She has even gone as far as advertise and speak openly about her sex life and relationship with another manager based in California. For a job that only paid 9.00 an hour it was not worth my time any longer. I hope that this complaint gets to the appropriate person who will actually investigate my concerns. This person is running a business in my community and I do not think she should be here.

Aaron's Harassment of children

Please dont buy from Aaron's Sales & Lease. I leased from them in 2002 at the Lancaster, S.C. store. Paid off three items. I have made it known to them every month I have two disable sons and I am at dr. or hospital alot. They may not hear from me for days, but I will always pay my payment before the other payment is due. The day after due date they start calling, harassing my children by telling them they are coming to get our furniture. They upset my children and get them crying. This is very unprofessional business.

You should never have agreed on a contract to repay if you are so STUPID! They have to be partially to blame for being dumb enough to let you have the stuff anyway. YOUR PROBLEMS ARE NOT THEIRS, GET OFF YOUR LAZY @SS AND PAY YOUR FRIGGIN BILLS U MAGGOTT!

I was employed at this exact Aaron's for almost a year. I quit in November 2007.

I know from working there, that as long as you call and let them know when you are going to be in to make your payment, they will put in a "promise" for that date which lets them know not to call until that date has passed. Granted, you may have told them about your situation, but you can't expect them to remember. We had over nine hundred active customers when I left. As long as you call and aren't trying to ### them over...there is a lot that they can do for you. Usually if you pay within the month, or before your NEXT due date, you are good. They can also rewrite your agreement or give you a service extension. Communication is key, and if you don't communicate with Aaron's about where you are as far as your payment goes every month (before you're late), then that interferes with the business relationship. There are too many people that go into Aaron's, pick out a 73" HDILA, make one payment, and then move states away...never to be heard from again. You can't expect for Aaron's to just know you're going to come in...it's all about communication.

I was employed with AARONS and disgusted with their collection techniques. The stores got in trouble with the Texas Attorney General and placed on probation. They still don't get the message , and continued with their previous behavior , even collecting on Sunday!

Aaron's Horrible customer service!

I have worked in the customer service field for 10 years and never had I experienced what I experienced with Aarons furniture general manager named Keith. This store is located in Columbia South Carolina on 2 notch road. I recently gave birth to a baby, I work full time and attend graduate school full time. My computer blew up so I needed another one in a hurry. My appointment time was suppose to be from 1-5. My computer wasn't delivered until 6:30. I understand things happen. But it would have made sense to call me and let me know they would be delivering the merchandise late. I called three times that day and no one informed me the delivery man ran into complications and would be late. I wanted to voice how dissatisfied I was with the service. I only have 2 days off. With this two day i need to take care of bills, buy groceries ect. the general manage informed me that I shouldn't have called and I must have been expecting a problem. He is an complete idiot! How can someone like that be a general manager. After this, I will NEVER, I mean NEVER get anything from Aarons. I will also inform everyone I know about their terrible customer service. If I didn't need to finish my paper for school and wasn't pressed for time to get my daughter I would have canceled the order. I HATE AARONS!

Oh, . It was in their Perth Amboy NJ location. Keep in mind, its better to purchase cash in this situation, your actually paying triple the amount for something that could have been payed off with maybe one months salary or less.

I leased a sectional from Aarons. I’ve been making payments on them for about 18 months. I was late this month, so a young lady calls my home being extremely rude as if I was a criminal that tried to rob them. I told her that this month was a bit hard for me and that I couldn’t come up with the payment for a couple of day. She tells me that it sounds like a personal problem so I ask to speak to the manager. She tells me how she is going to have her "guys" pick it up in five minutes. When she transferred the call over, the manager picks up and says "yes?” I asked his name and he turns around and says "well you asked to speak to me, you know who I am". Wow! How rude can they be? Well I know we were back and forth because I couldn’t make the payment on time. He tells me on how that’s not there problem and I should go and burrow the money from someone to make the payment. All of a sudden there were all these new rules and regulations that they were trying to re-enforce on me. (Mind you, I only have about three months left to pay the sofas off). They kept threatening me on how the stuff is still there’s and they can come and pick it u whenever they want. He made it his business to say how he runs that whole Aarons store and everyone has problems, but that is none of his business. I let them know about their attitude. I don’t know how they let people like that deal with customers. I financed a Mercedes Benz, if I was to be late on the payment, guess what? It’s a 40K car, and they don’t treat me like that. AARONS HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! That will be the first and last time I will ever purchase something from them! I will make sure to tell everyone!

I also had a very simmular experience with Aaron's. I recieved a call from the store letting me know i was 2 days late on my payment. I told the Manager named Sheila in Payson, Az. that I am sorry I am a single mother who works full time and attends college full time and raises a 2 year old alone, I must have just let it slip my mind. She then accused me of being "STUPID" and said that since I was 2 days late, I obviously couldn't add! This woman was the rudest person I have ever dealt with on a professional level. I have worked in the customer service field before and at any one of my jobs if I had ever spoken that way to a customer I would have been fired on the spot. I guess aarons just trains their people to be rude, unconsiderate, and childish. I WILL NEVER DO BUSSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER EVER AGAIN! I suggest you don't either or you will be in for a rude AWAKENING!

Aaron's Very rude customer service!

I leased a 52 inch hd tv. It became blurry I ask for it to be fixed. They replaced it with a 48 inch and I should have gotten the same tv. Before dark the tv tore up it had so many lines that you could not see it. I called and they brought me a 52 inch this time. This was on may 9 2007. They said three weeks to fix it. When I call to check on it they talk to me like I have never been talked to by a business. They have very rude people that work there. Every time you call they have let the person go I talked to last. Take this matter serious because your store in Seneca will not be opened long. Sharonda, the manager is very very rude she want listen to me she wants to do all the talking.

Aaron's Made up a bogus reason for keeping my over payment

I made a payment of $160.00 on 5/21/07 which included $12.82 in late fee's. I wrote an even amount out provided that the $9.16 will be adjusted to my next payment. But to my surprise the money was deducted from me. I was told it was for "in house pickup" in other words the company allegedly came to my house to remove my furniture and there was no answer. Remind you no notice was left at my residence indicating that this took affect. It just so happen this amount was exactly my balance left over. My bill was due on 5/15/07, only six days late and I paid the late fee's. I will never purchase from this company ever again. I will pay my remaining balance because I agreed to. Under no certainty did I agree to be taken advantage of.

Aaron's Most annoying customer service i've ever experienced

This store has the rudest and most annoying customer service I've ever experienced. There is no communication between the employees, so therefore i get harassed day & night, and have to repeatedly explain my payment plan to people who are to lazy to look up your account.

The last face to face encounter i had with these people was very rude & extremely insulting. The manager and a sales man both argued with me about my payment, which i was right about, in a barrage of insults and patronizations. I don't recommend this location to anyone unless you want to harassed by phone,at work, at home and don't mind paying their scam of late charges that don't exist in even their contracts. The worst though is being talked to like a stupid piece of trash.

Aaron's Rude treatment!

I feel that AAron's has been very evasive and non-cooperative and the worst thing was that I have been treated rudely. I am 18 years old and this is one of the first purchases I have made and I am very discouraged about the sales department at our local Aaron's store. I had to return my P.C. and it has been gone for repair for over a month and a half. I regret dealing with Aaron's and I am dissaloushioned about the purchasing procedure all together.

At approximately 6pm on 3-12-24, the Gatesville (the tall fat white guy) store manager was visibly upset and chose not to take my sons money for a computer. I feel like going to best buy now.

The Aaron's location in Magee Ms. continually plays music on speakers outside the store that is inappropriately loud and disturbing to the point that customers in the neighboring stores are complaining. Management disregards complaints and this has been an ongoing issue.

Well I been harassed verbally abused my house was disrespected by the delivery guys in front of my children and they treated my animals and me like crap banging on my door like they are the police and Im called a lier and a bunch of other things and hung up on and I been threatened and laughed at I had it already

I had an account with your Selinsgrove,Pa store account was closed with no communication and now they want me to pay on something that I thought I had paid off. This seems to be a common problem that I have read. I only get promo emails and text never anything about my account

rite got a desktop unit bout a year ago still paying on it and now the gpu maybe dying and i called told them errors it came back worked fine for an hour black screened again gaming hp omen desktop unit and now i fear it will completely die and ive called to let them know got no where the dude said he would call back never did it is now the weekend im planning on calling back tellign them the errors happening and that i updated drivers and what not i sware to god this was the biggest mistake going to aarons im gettign screwed and i need to be able to play my game ive obligations and i pay for gaming desktop now it maybe unable to be useable also had to repair c drive as well aarons get your act together you have lost a customer next month im going to another buisness

Purchased a stove, oven from Aaron's in Gaithersburg, MD. The hinge broke after 1 yr. The oven door doesn't close. Called Aaron's to complain. Because I paid off product, they refused to assist. Poor service, low quality products they sell, overpriced. I will continue to complain to everyone.

My tv has a white line going through the middle of screen I have trying to get the store to fix the tv the store is not getting with me to fix the tv and my account been over the time that my contract said it said 14 months and it over 24 months I really need some help please
