refusal to close my bank accounts
Elders beware ... I am a 96 year old widow who has accounts with Citizens Bank, who is refusing to close my accounts.
They accepted my notarized letter to change my address, but 3 months later when I sent a notarized letter to close my savings account, they have repeatedly refused, 1st saying my signature didn't match my old signature card then ending with requiring me to get a POA and have the POA send in the request. I am quite capable of handling my own affairs
and this is truly adding insult to injury. I took the non-required step of having my signature notarized because of age related signature variation. I have filed a complaint with the Comptroller of the currency, Administrator of National Banks
and have sent a letter to James G. Connolly, President, Citizens Bank ... stay tuned for the results

Citizens bank will shuffle the charges coming through my account so they can charge over draft fees. 4/27/2003
They have done it numerous times and refuse to fix it. I have complained repeatedly to the office for prior dates this happened. I can get my bank statements to further prove the scheme they are running on customers

07/21/2022 0700 ET; Continuous issues with logging in. Indiscriminate account locking, excessive time to answer calls, obnoxious phone advertising. Poor to zero customer service.
Took money supposedly owed from a 2013 charge off which was paid a few years ago. No notice, just helped themselves to my money. Said they didn't know how to get ahold of me when my address and phone number is current
Citizens bank customer service is completley rude and nasty they talk to you like your a child repeating the same things over and over i've never waited so long for things to clear or be deposited in my account i will be switching banks again
