We have been customers of the Circle K at the corner of Monterey Ave. and Ramon Rd. in Thousand Palms, CA 92276 since it opened. The employees are pleasant and we have never had an issue with the service.
However, recently (May 7/21) vehicles are parking in the lot and not appearing to buy anything. Today (May 8/21) two men were working on a truck motor in the lot along with other parked cars.
My husband goes by there at 2 am on his way to work nightly and there are always several homeless people sitting on the store curb, not the street, the store curb. Perhaps more signs such as no parking, loitering, etc. are needed. I don't suggest that the employees confront anyone, but perhaps they could call non-emergency to speak to them. Recently, I no longer feel safe there and may have to go elsewhere for gas, lottery, and supplies.
I told the clerk my concern and he said he would tell his boss. I feel there is also a safety factor to the employees as well.
Desired outcome: REmedy the parking, loitering issue for safety reasons.
