I'm a regular customer at this store. Tonight around around 8:00 p.M. Tonight I stopped by to pick up a couple of things and buy gas. As usual there was only one cashier working so I waited in line for 10-15 minutes waiting on people to buy lottery tickets, etc. Finally it's my turn... Okay great. Never seen this cashier before so she is apparently new. Have my two items and hand her a $20 bill that I received from my bank a few days ago (along with many other $20 bills). The first words out of her mouth was "I hate old money" and then she looks at the bill, looks at it again and tries to tell me she doesn't think it's legit. I tell her well gee that's funny as I got it from the bank and I would think they would be able to identify fake bills! Not one other business questioned any of the $20 bills and this was my last one... So okay. I take my money and go down the street to your competitor to make my purchase. Big shock - they had no problem taking my money! Where do you find these people? This individual either has no idea what she's doing or corporate has a bizarre policy of turning away paying customers who just happen to have been given a bill that hasn't been retired from service and replaced yet. So you've got your wish. No longer will I patronize your establishment as there is another shell gas station 1 1/2 miles west of the location mentioned above and I have never had an issue with extremely slow lines, gas pumps that do not work, they actually have supplies available so you can wash your windshield, etc. And they don't turn down cash. If you want to keep any customers this girl needs to be fired asap.
