Chick-fil-A review: Health risk and treatment

The chick file where my grandaughter worked (I am her guardian) wanted her to work even though she got sick. Now she's had the covid vaccine, but we both came down with something that mimicked covid - right down to loosing our smell & taste by the 3rd day. She had 2 cv19 tests, and they came back negative thank goodness, as did mine. However, to even suggest 1 with a cough and fever work in the food industry or when 1 thinks 1 might have covid, and not require a mask is beyond my comprehension. It's simply awful. Now, when my grandaughter went back to work I insisted she wear her mask - and look for a different job.
She's a very good worker, 17 in online school, and applies herself which is why places such as chick-fil-a like to abuse that. She's efficient. She was 1 of their top employees. I noticed because of this - they also would leave her outside in the tx heat most of her shift with no or delayed break since they didn't have others to work the drive through as well as she does. Being good worker, she kept the line running. Prime choice for their bottom line, rush hour, lunch hour... Etc.

Just terrible. So disappointing - low pay, bad working conditions for outdoors, manager yelling at other "kids" that noone would get a raise - and then with the health hazzard - quite enough.
She, of course, already has another job lined up to start on the 17th and did her due diligence giving 2 weeks notice. (1 interview and she was hired.) of course, chick-fil-a let her off the schedule 1 week ahead - mad I guess. But I am pleased they did.

I do believe that as a company this type of treatment, especially where health and food is concerned will hurt the company long term should this type of experience get out and not be addressed.

I am a business owner myself; and thus fully realize how hard it is currently with all the health and financial issues facing us; but you are a food industry with a good reputation at risk. Step up! Unacceptable.

Solve and address this asap - my only desired outcome.
