I ordered take-out at 11:25 am on tuesday august 15th when I went to pick-up my order not only was it not ready, but had not even been started on!

When it finally was ready, extra items I asked for was just shoved in with the regular food order, and not placed in the normal small captain d's boxes!

I was made to wait for my order in 94 degree heat inside my already hot vehicle, because I was told I would only have to wait a few minutes! Lie I had to wait 20 minutes, the employee was not very pleasant and when I tried to reach the manager by phone I was placed on hold for over 4 minutes where upon the employee hung up the phone without me talking to the manager period!

I tried to call back but this time, they could not be bothered to even answer a ringing phone, I tried (7) times at over 4 minutes a try, for a total of 28 plus minutes! By this time the food I picked up was already cold! Also one of the styrefoam containers had a hole and the contents leaked out into the bag carring the food! This probably happened because of the rush to get my order out to me, to make up for not having it ready when it was supposed to be!

My family went to your establishment on South Crater Road in Petersburg Va at 8:30p on August 13, 2023 for Sunday dinner. We were informed by your staff that the dining area was closed due to a staff member walking out. At which time we received our order and exited the restaurant. My family sat in the car to have dinner and noticed an older white gentleman enter the restaurant. We were able to see him walk away from the counter and take a seat in the dining area. His meal appeared to be prepared and delivered to the dining area where he sat and ate with no issues. At which point we as an African American family were offended and returned to express that to the staff. At which time no staff member apologized but rather stated “my bad”. If our race was an issue, this is truly unacceptable, especially within the customer service industry.

My wife and I dined at Capt ds at 1237 N Road st in Elizabeth City NC on the evening of 8/9/23 at 2033 pm being the ones in the entire dining area was more than obvious after listening to the foul mouthed cooks behind the counter Their phones were on speaker phone and listening to their equally as foul mouthed individuals on the other end of the line made the entire meal even less enjoyable We dined at Capt ds a month or two in the past and experienced the exact same problem Also I went to get refills on our sweet tea drinks and was told they only had enough for one drink After spending 30 dollars for dinner I guess having someone make more tea was a little too much to ask They also ran out of green beans and one of the cooks said if nobody likes it they can email him a complaint and his response probaldly wont be a nice one This establishment needs some Serious attention and the sooner the better! On more than one occasion I have visited this location 30 + minutes prior to closing and been told they are out of main menu items. Or they don’t have any cooked and it’s too close to closing . Basically saying they’ve already begun end of shift duties and aren’t going to cook anything else. Well tonight after sitting in a very long slow line, we finally received our meals! When we got home and ole ed the boxes our fish was ridiculously small.. clearly a piece of fish cut in 1/2! Our food was over 21.00 and only enough food for one person. I am very disappointed and this will be my last visit to captain ds. My family has been a loyal customer for over 15 years but my husband I agree this was the final straw! Do better Captain Ds or I’m

Hello, writing in regards to one of many experiences…I have encountered, at captain d’s located at 109 sr-138 stockbridge, georgia…on wednesday july 26 2023 between 12:30 pm and 1pm…I came in to pick up a delivery, for an uber eats customer, after waiting, almost 15min…I had asked 3 guys behind the counter…did they know how much longer the order was going to be?

By this time, I had already hung up the phone, with the customer…its was then, one of the guys, who came out from the back, said to me…”were up here we don’t know when it’s going to be ready”…my response: okay I see your up here, I would like, to know how much the customer order is going to be…this young boy dark skin black, about 5’8 dread locks, continued to argue, with me…it was then I had asked him, to be quiet, because he was being disrespectful, rude and unprofessional, he in return told…”don’t tell me to be quiet because i’m a grown [censored] man”…oh if that’s the case… grown mature men don’t speak this way…this whole time this was happening, I was on the phone, with uber support team…who heard the whole conversation…can someone please reach out?

On july 14, 2023, time about 3:30pm that afternoon…a friend n I went out to captain d’s to eat inside, it was not busy at all…

The cashier wasn’t friendly n never had a smile on her face! She was short answering our questions about menu’s when we asked about something. Plus almost ever time we go there to eat… they seem to always be out of bake potatoes n out of sweet tea! As we sit down to wait on our order, about all the tables haven’t been cleaned off! So I had to ask them to please clean off the table we was sitting at! Got our food to eat… the food was great no problems there at all… the time of getting food was good too! As we was leaving n went to go use the restroom…. The soap dispenser was off r maybe broken! No paper towels at all, plus had water in the floor around the toilet, I say maybe it was leaking! Leaving out never any workers saying thank you come back n have a great day r anything like that…. I feel as a busy of yours you need to know about these things! If it was just like a once in awhile thing I wouldn’t even complain but the few times i’ve been here lately… I haven’t seen it get any better!
