Canadian Tire review: Canadian Tire Yorkton – SGI even admitted they’ve had issues with this place

My experience at Canadian Tire Yorkton was absolutely terrible and people need to know.

I brought my truck in for a simple out-of-province inspection. This truck was a gift from my dad — well-maintained, runs perfect, and had just passed Ontario’s strict safety inspection with zero problems.

The moment I dropped it off, I got told by staff behind the counter to “throw it in the scrap yard.” Another employee laughed and agreed. That’s what they said about a clean, reliable vehicle that just passed another province’s inspection.

When I picked it up, one of my lug nuts was missing. Instead of replacing it, they told me to buy a whole pack just to get one. When I spoke to the manager, she cut me off mid-sentence and said, “We’re human, we’re allowed to make mistakes.” Not a single thing was fixed or apologized for.

Then they got SGI involved, which forced me into another full inspection and more costs — even SGI admitted they’ve had previous issues with this specific Canadian Tire.
