Yesterday I went to Camoing World in Spokane, Washiungton with my grandson to tow his newly purchased 33' travel trailer home. The service crew took my truck, installed the hitch and hooked up the trailer then brought it to the front lot and told us it was good to go. We headed home but went less than three miles on the freeway before I looked in the mirror...

Camping World Wally

Had a new Wally system install. When to Florida no service dish told us must be cable. Mobile Service Of Florida they had to run cables again. As we had dish turned on was told one of our cable box was a rental box. So dish charged us 3.50 more to turn on. Worked great for one month while in Florida . Georgia no signial could not change state. So every state was the same. Now on November 23 when to camping world to winterize Rv. Wanted to talk with service manager Zach was in meeting. We have called everyday to talk with Zach. Between Tess and Zach no one wants to help. Tess acts like she is so busy and in a rush. Our Florida bill is for $375.00. Now that we needed you to look at wally the bubble was a hole in it. All they can do is sell us a new one.

We purchased a new Cruser 25RL from c amping world in Akron Ohio in 2017. After we decided this year to sell it, I contacted Camping world and asked if they would be interested in purchasing our RV. I sent the information from the name plate to them, and they made an offer that would be acceptable to us of $15,000. after pulling the RV to Camping world the...

Camping World 2022 forest river sierra luxury 391flrb 4x4fser2xnj050793 external inbox marc babcock

We brought our camper in that we rent at our camp site in August of 2022 to be winterized and to have the awning fixed. We called several times to check to the awning repair and were not able to reach customer service several times. Eventually we were called and told it was ready. We drove 6 hours and when we got there the repairs were not made and the window in the living room was damaged severely. We waited a year for someone to reach out and tell us that it was ready. We lost a $150.00 a day in rental income due to this incompetence. We have been going around about the bill and what we are being charged for they are now harassing us to come pay for it and pick it up. We live 6 hours away from the service area and explained that we work and would not be able to pick it up right away. They are now threatening us with an additional charge to for storage. This is so unreal that there are no words about how disgusting the customer service is and it appears they do not keep staff since we have dealt with 5 different people throughout this ordeal

Claimed loss: $150.00 a day we lost $18,000.00

Desired outcome: We would like to be compensated for our loss and they can deliver the campers if they feel the need to charge for storage.

Camping World Skylight for 2020 cardinal camper purchased with camping world

Attempted to purchase a new Skylight, both Inner and outer part for my RV. I contacted Forest River who made my camper to get the part numbers for both parts. 19 Oct 23 contacted Camping World in Huber Heights, Ohio and was told by Morgan Crase who works in the after market office, to send them the VIN number and that they needed to check with Bill in their OEM department. So I located the VIN number and called and talked to a receptionist who took down the number. On 20 Oct, 23 I was contacted by Morgan by email and she said the VIN was wrong and she sent me what her receptionist wrote down, she was missing a number. So I resent the corrected VIN and again waited for a response. Heard from no one. On 23 Oct, 23 I sent another email to Morgan asking if she heard from Bill in OEM and didn't get any response. So I drove to their location on 24 Oct, 23, which is about 30 miles one way. When I got there Morgan was off again. So another girl in the after market office was able to get a hold of Bill the only person in OEM and was told that they can get the part. Asked why this has taken so long and told that many employees were let go and they have limited people working in the store. So guess no one cares about customer service and the few people left there are ok to ignore the customer. So asked what the price would be and was told under $400.00 for both parts before taxes and somebody would call me tomorrow to take my payment. In between the time it took for somebody to finally contact me I had called Richmond Indiana Camping World and they never called me back either. This is where we bought the RV in the first place. Does customer service stop once the RV drives off the lot? Two different locations and no one seems to care about helping me. So since I had not heard from anyone and still needed my part, I contacted another RV company, not related to Camping World and they were able to give me price the same day. On 25 Oct, 23 received an email from Morgan saying would take around 3 weeks to get parts in and the cost would be $600.00 before taxes. This was $200.00 higher then I was quoted the day before. So the other RV place was closer to what I was first quoted by Huber Heights, so I went with them. However, I now have to drive over 60 Miles one way to get these parts, but even the extra miles makes it cheaper then Huber Heights which is closer. I am both A Good Sam member and retired Military and yet the price was higher then your competitor and went up $200.00 in one day. When I asked why the price went up, Morgan stated that the other person didn't know what they were talking about. Is this the type of service Camping World wants customers to see you as? I would like compensation for both my time contacting people, only to not hear back from them. Also my travel to your store. Also the trouble I went through or you can forget me ever making another purchase inside any camping World. Appreciate hearing back from somebody soon.

My name is Avery Houskeeper I purchased my second RV in January at the Draper Utah store. This was only 14 months after my first purchase. Camping World Roof replacement

On September 11th 2023 I took my 2005 Class C motor home to Camping World In Boise Idaho to have the roof replaced. On October 19th I was told they were just finishing up and It would be ready to pick up Friday October 20th. On that Friday I received an email from the service rep that “Camping World Corporate” was closing the Boise branch effective, immediately, Friday the 20th and mine was the last unit left in they shop. I went directly to their shop to find workers on my MH roof still working. Their shop was empty, all materials, equipment, and tools had been removed. They told me to come back Monday the the 23rd. When I returned Monday they still had to finish reinstalling the exterior ladder and caulk some seams. The finished job is horrible. the caulking looks like it was an after thought. And they reattached the front cap with random screws and washers. This was an 11,000.00 plus job. Horrible service and workmanship.

Desired outcome: I would like the finished job to look as close as possible to the factory finish.

Good day Mr. Marcus Lemonis, I am a very dissatisfied customer. Please allow me to explain. On April of 2023, my wife and I were at the Camping world store at 12020 Shriner Blvd. in Biloxi MS, 39532 to look at Class A RV’s. After looking at some, we chose to move forward with purchasing a 2018 Itasca Intent 31P VIN 1F65F5DY8J0A12399. The first thing...

I brought my Rv in for repairs and upgrades. CW damaged the body @generator compartment area. I stopped payment. I left for my vacation and on my first night that I could expand the slide out the topper which CW adjusted (verified by my mobile mechanics I had to hire ($200)) caused my slide out to jump track and brake. Camping World Motorhome

In August 2022, we went to Camping World on Dick Pond Road in Myrtle Beach, SC looking to get a smaller motorhome. We had a 2020 43 ft. Jayco 5th Wheel that we absolutely loved but with the costs of trucks we could not afford a truck payment and the camper payment. We decided to look for something smaller that was drivable so we would only have one payment. We met with Ron who was very nice and showed us a few campers.

Then out of nowhere a man named Denny came in and started pushing us to buy the 2016 Ace Thor that had just come in, but we had to decide.

because he had a woman coming to look at it. (So he said) He showed it to us and pointed out what a great deal we were getting. I told them I

did not want to put down more than 7500.00 and I did not want a payment over 750.00. After much insistence and “threat of losing such a great

deal” we agreed to the deal. On August 11, 2022, we took $10,000.00 and gave as a deposit (against my better judgement) but was told that was the only way they could make the deal work, which in retrospect didn’t really work as I had requested since I added 2500.00 more cash down and now have a payment of $769.81.

When we did our “walk around” we were told the main awning was broken and would be replaced as soon as possible and we pointed out that when you put it in reverse, the backup camera was not visible and when blinkers were turned on the sideview cameras did not work. We told them we had reservations to go camping on 9/4/2022 and would hope that it was all fixed by then.

We took our “new camper” (not fixed) and very excitedly went camping for the first time on 9/4/2022. It rained throughout the week (we could not sit outside as we had no awning). By Wednesday, 9/7/2022, we realized how much we “hate” the camper and go directly to camping world to see if anything can be done as it had not even been a month and it does not suit our needs at all. Our autistic son (who travels with us) could not sleep on the pull-down bed, the kitchen and refrigerator were way too small. We had looked at other campers that Camping World had listed and were told to send those ID# to them and they would see what could be done.

After not hearing anything, again, I called and was told there was nothing they could do. I even said we would take our 5th wheel back (as it was still sitting there) and was told again that there was nothing they could do.

By the end of the camping week we had the following problems with the camper:

Not only was the main awning broken but the two slide out awnings were as well.

The shower floor felt like you were going to fall through it.

The water pressure was almost nonexistent at times (we used the freshwater tank until it ran out to make sure it worked as we were going boondocking the following trip.

The toilet did not hold water.

The water pump kicked on constantly and was so loud it would wake you up in the night.

The USP ports in bedroom did not work.

The front passenger window leaked.

The propane leaked and emptied the tank within a 24-hour period.

There was no ladder to get in the bunk (although we were told it was probably stored in the closet).

And of course, the issue with the radio/back up visual was still an issue.

When leaving the campground, we took it directly to camping world where they took the copy of all the “problems” and we told them we had another trip schedule for 11/1/2022. That gave them from 9/11/22-11/1/2022 to get everything fixed.

On 10/20/2022 I got a call from Nate saying the awning had been fixed and they were looking at the radio and he would get back to us when they

were done. Not hearing anything we went there on 10/22/2022 and was advised it was done. We were taken to the camper and could immediately see the back awnings were not fixed and asked about everything else. Nate said he didn’t remember everything else so to refresh his memory. I reminded him that they had the list somewhere but gave him the list again also reminding him we needed it by Nov.1.

He said, “I’m sorry about this and that is no problem as I will get it in here first thing Monday morning to get fixed.”

On 10/31/2022, after not hearing anything again, my husband went to see what was going on.

NOTHING – that is what was going on. They had not even taken it in to fix any of it.

In conclusion of this HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with CAMPING WORLD, could you please see if anything can be done to rectify this situation.

I have been paying monthly storage fees (total waste) for a camper that has been sitting in your lot to be fixed and paid for a camping trip that now is being delayed – if it happens at all.

This was an original letter sent to Marcus Lemonis (who boasts "If you're not happy, I'm not happy") A HUGE JOKE!

Today, 10/14/2023, they finally (supposedly) have our awning and radio fixed but want us to pay over $600.00 to get it from them when, they have used our warranty that we bought at the time of purchase to correct everything they have done so far (repairs that were pointed out to them immediately upon purchase and should have been repaired on their dime).

It just appalls me that this company can get away with cheating hard-working people the way they have.

Desired outcome: The company to make things right - they have done nothing yet to do anything right.

Camping World Jacks not working on my 2014 Georgetown motorhome just purchased in bowling Green

Purchased 7/31/2023 part of deal was it was all working properly when i pickup and purchase this date. No one told they were not working until i asked them to turn them on. The person doing walk thru said they should have told you they were broke. Sales manager and salesman both guaranteed me it was a quick fix and would be done quickly. It has been at 2 separate Camping world still not fixed. 1st i was told it was a control module and had to order. That did not fix, i needed it back so i took it and they said the haudrylic pump was bad and they need to order that. The remote never shows any power. I email customer service guy because he said he responds faster to that. He said they had contact Lippert company to see what motor to order and are waiting. I know Lippert responds fast we have dealt with them before. On top of that salesman told me the jacks worked when he took it in on trade. We have since contacted previous owner and he said they did not work and he took a big hit on trade in for that reason. He also said he had worked with Lippert previously and they were very nice and willing to help on phone. I have sent emails to salesperson wanting the GM name and email no response. I have called and they took my name and number and GM will not call me back. Customer support last week now said that it was a bad motor and power wire and was waiting for parts to get the info to order from lippert. I dont care just replace all and make the deal you promised work.

Desired outcome: I either want unit fixed or my money back!!!!!!!!

Camping World New camper haven't been able to use for over 2 months

Made an appointment with the GM to look at trading our camper for a larger one for 2pm on 7-19-23 at Camping World in Longmont, Colorado. Arrived a few minutes early and was asked to wait, that he would be right down, 20 minutes later someone tells us he can’t make it. We informed them that the GM had stated a certain salesman would take care of us. Turns out he knew nothing about it but we continued anyway. We found a camper that fit our needs and was telling them that we had plans to go on a multiple southern state trip in a couple of weeks. We were assured we could go camping when we pulled it off the lot. Took it out for a test camp on 7-25-23 before we left on our big trip, to say we had problems is an understatement. The fresh water tank leaked on all fittings so you would lose water, when you used the kitchen sink in a few minutes water was running all over floor, tried the shower and soon we had water coming out the wall/floor in bedroom. The vents were loose and one had fallen out of the side of camper, trim was loose, etc. Then that evening it rained and water leaked all over the bed. We made a list of everything we could test that did not work and brought it back to get fixed, I asked them then if this was a used or damaged vehicle as it seemed to me that someone left the water in it and it froze and with everything else thought it was used. They assured me it did not get froze and they would have everything fixed so we could get back to camping. Turns out now we have to deal with warranty/service to get repairs authorized as it is a sold/used camper. I was assured again that we would be able to go on our camping trip and that they would call either Friday or Monday on progress. I called on Tuesday as no one had called, the young lady told me that they were still trying to process warranty paperwork etc and that they would call me next week and it should be ready. We are now into August and we have to call as they do not call when promised, have been getting different stories every time I call (was told it just got pulled into shop several times or that they have been working on it and then I call the Service Manager who could not take my call so I left a message asking him to call me - left my cell number but his secretary calls my wife and tells them they just pulled it in the shop). This went on for several weeks and then all of the sudden it was finished. Went to pick it up (4 hour trip) and was told they still had not gotten warranty approval for all items but that everything else was done. Was going to test it out again so began packing it up when it rained, the camper still leaks so unpack it again and bring it back but in mean time more stuff had fallen off etc so list got longer. They asked if had plans to use camper soon and I told them were had plans to be down south by Sept 10 for a family function so tech said he would call next week, no call back and we go back to not returning calls, not getting updates etc. I tried to see the GM when I brought it back and was told he was in and that just have a seat and he would be right down, 30 minutes later someone comes down and states he is busy and cannot see me after all. I told them that I would try another time but that I wanted to talk to him not the people I have already dealt with. I tried several more times with same result, wait and then no GM.

I decided to drive up to Camping World in Longmont, CO a little before noon 9-21-23 to speak with the General Manager (have tried to meet with him 3 or 4 other times with no luck). Same as before the receptionist says he is in and to have a seat he will be down in a few minutes. 20 minutes later and man asks my name and then proceeds to tell me the GM is busy and has a meeting to go to and if he could help. I stated he might and then asked what he did there, he stated he was the manager of sales so I said you more than likely can help. I started to explain some of the problems we have had and stated I felt like we were sold a used/damaged vehicle. He started to walk away stating he did not know but would find out, I tried to follow to ask some more questions but could not keep up with him (I don’t believe he was a manager of sales he was in dirty clothes with a shirt tail hanging out but he was big at least 8 inches taller than me - I believe they were trying to intimidate me) as I am an older disabled man. 5-10 minutes later another lady comes down and tells me that my camper is done, hands me paper work and the keys and tells me I don’t need to stop at service desk, just go out to the lot and pick up your camper. I asked her if they were trying to tell me to leave, she shrugged her shoulders and looked at the ground. I asked if they found the roof leak, she stated that it was dry inside the camper and that they had sealed it again; and that everything else was done. Nothing was done to the inside, while it was on their lot in the process of them moving it the shower doors fell apart, I could smell the odor of silicone and seen that had just put a very large amount of silicone all over one of the front seams of the camper. Looked like they went up their 30 minutes before they asked me to leave and used a tube or two of silicone to patch a hole they did not think was there as they had spayed that part and it did not leak?

I then called the Camping World corporate hotline. They assigned me a rep and I thought just maybe something would happen, they realigned or something and I have a new rep, she called and I missed the phone by 2 minutes when I returned here call to no avail, replied to her emails no response until today. No answers to any of my questions just that all approved parts have been ordered. I had explained to her something was not right but it looks like their role is more of a messenger not anyone who has any authority to question store management. This is the worst customer service and I feel it could be criminal after all of the deception and lies but I am not a legal person and will let them with the proper knowledge determine if some fraud has taken place. I would be willing to take a polygraph test if necessary to show my honesty (doubt they will) but the summer has passed and we still do not have a camper therefore I would like a full refund and my old camper back. If old camper is sold give me sales prices less a commission.

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund and my old camper back. If old camper is sold give me sales prices less a commission.

Camping World has had my horse trailer for repairs 3 times since July 2022 at the Bufors, GA location. I dropped it off in July of 2022 and they kept it for over 7 months. Camping World I purchased a motor home

They charged me $25,000 plus for items that I didn't want. I bought on a Saturday called on Monday and again on Tuesday. By Friday they got reply back that it takes them 4 to 6 weeks to remove the items from my loan. Right now my loan is 4 days old and it's $700 plus and in three weeks add maybe 2,000 more dollar of interest. Radio in motorhome is a cheap $80.00 Walmart radio. Where is the one that came with the 450e.

Desired outcome: Camping world to end all these unwanted items and pay my interest to date.

Camping World Service and Sales

Was told it would take 3 weeks for the work on my motorhome to be completed. 3 months later and "ALL SUMMER LONG" they still have it because they cannot make the brand-new auto stairs work. They installed them and they don't work... This treatment from such a big company is unacceptable. We also discussed with the sales dept to sell our MH to them. They inspected it, gave us a dollar amount they would give us, we agreed. We live 1.5 hours away, Next day driving there once again to bring the title, almost arriving - on the phone we were told they are no longer buying it. AND THE KICKER IS THE STAIRS ARE STILL NOT WORKING! $13,000.00 worth of repairs! Had to STILL leave it there drive 1.5 hr home and will have to return 1.5 hr yet again.

Rex Cardwell [protected] Service advisor Gonsolvo(entiree shelf of awards).

Desired outcome: To sell my vehicle like they promised and to not keep being lied too. Gonsolvo in Service and Alex&Nick in sales.

I had purchased my RV on Sept 1. We brought it home Sept 18. I really don't know what the delay was. With the insurance that was imposed on me, that I didn't want to pay another $18,000 for Good Sam insurance, it included the protective coating on the outside to prevent fading, etc. which I was told they did. How do I know? No proof. We took it camping Sept 23-24, and on the way home, the engine was so loud I could not talk with the driver. Then, the check engine light came on. We took the RV back on Sept 28. When we picked it up Oct. 11, they said they had insulated the cover between the two front seats and check engine light fixed. Result: Whatever was put under the cover, worked, as now I could hear the driver. The check engine light came on within 5 miles. We took it back Oct. 12. We were called to pick it up, it is ready on Oct. 26. The light came on again in less than 5 mile. That light came on 3 times after it was serviced. Jason sent a driver to get it on Oct 27. It was delivered on Nov 7. They said they put a new catalytic converter on...no light this time. As the owner of the RV, I have no way of knowing if it is fixed or not until in April or May 2024 when we may try to use it. He assured me that it was fixed, that he had driven it 3 times. The good thing about this whole fiasco is that I wasn't asked to pay anything. Camping World covered the cost, as far as I know. The guys were good, but I feel that they all need to be trained better in knowing each RV. One didn't know that the remote to the fan needed new batteries, as to why it wasn't working. I told him that. It was supposed to be fixed when we picked it up, it wasn't. We were told that we would have to get on the bed to turn that fan on. You don't tell people that. We discovered that it worked with the remote. The instructions in then manual showed how the overhead bed would come down. It didn't work. We discovered that it worked from the monitor. The hood locks wouldn't unlock on one side. No instructions for the refrigerator. I hope my problems are done. I won't know til next spring. $102,000 for that unit that included $18,000 of Good Sam insurance that I didn't want to buy but was encouraged to do so. When I tried to cancel it, I was told that I might need it, that I should keep it. So, I have it. I hope I don't need the medical part, or the unit part. Have a good day.
