Burlington Coat Factory Direct never again!

I went into Burlington Coat Factory to put some toys for my son on layaway for Christmas. I gave a CASH down payment to the clerk at the time of my purchase. I came back a week later to pick up the items but the store employees were having difficulty finding my items. I stood at the customer service station for over an hour waiting for them to locate the toys..no luck. The store employees were not sympathetic at all...only occasionally acknowledging my presence and saying"they're still looking".

I got tired of waiting for my order so I asked for my money back. The clerk told me that I would have to wait to receive my money back in the form of a check in the mail since they would have to deem it a "Lost Layaway". She said that it should arrive in 7-10 business days.

After about 3 weeks of waiting I called the corporate office to check on the status but the woman said that I would have to wait until the check had been out for 30 days and if I still hadn't received it then I should call back and she would put a stop-payment on the check and issue another one.

It has now been a month since my layaway was lost and I have still not gotten my money back. I called the woman back today and she said that she would do the stop-payment and that my check should go out tomorrow. I asked her if I could have the check sent overnight or Certified Mail so that it would require a signature for delivery, but she simply said "NO". So, basically I have been waiting a month to get a refund on a transaction that was cancelled because thy were unable to locate my layaway and I could potentially wait another month if the check does not come this time.

I WILL NEVER SHOP AT BURLINGTON COAT FACTORY AGAIN!

I RETURNED TWO ARTICLES OF CLOTHING TO BURLINGTON'S AND WAS INFORMED BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN PAST THEIR DATE TO CREDIT MY CHARGE CARD FOR THE AMOUNT THEY WOULD ISSUE ME A STORE CREDIT. THIS WAS FINE...BUT THEN THE CREDIT THEY WERE GIVING WAY WAS BELOW THE AMOUNT I HAD PAID. WHEN I COMPLAINED THE CLERK SAID THAT WAS STORE POLICY...THE MERCHANDISE HAD ALL...

Burlington Coat Factory Direct corruption

I was working at Burlington Coat Factory as a Loss Prevention Associate. My manager asked me to inform a lady who was in the store with an empty back pack that she had to leave the bag with customer service. Upon doing so the lady became irate, and went and complained to the same manager, who then denied knowing anything about the incident. The lady left the store. About 10 minutes later I stepped outside to smoke a cigarette, thinking that lady was long gone. She had been waiting out there the entire time. When she saw me she began issuing threats, and and saying, "did you tell me to kiss your ###, " I continued ignoring this person. She then ran back into the store, and almost immidiately back out. Upon exiting again she said, "I know who you are, " she said my first and last name and then said, "I'm gonna get you now!" I immidiately went into the store to ask my manager why she gave this woman who was issuing threats to me my last name and she began yelling. My complaint is that not only did this manager know that she should not be giving personal information about employees to hostile people, but that she did so knowing that the person was yelling threats at me. I quit Burlington Coat Factory during this incident, and hope never to work for a company that has such disregard for its employees again.

I was employed in Burlington I have never seen such horrible employers lazy unprofessional. They sit in the office chattig laughing all day and then when they know the head people are coming they run everyone like crazy and then actually do some work, managers dating other employees as far s loss prevention the manger told them to just keep it low key when Colleen hed of Human resources gave them a tip that someone complained also very unprofessional. They chilled out for a while and now its starting up gain along with the harassing of other employees. These people in HR do nothing if they dont notice the revolving door of employees in that store. In 2 months I have seen close to 20 people quit. Its a disgrace the way employees are treated and the favortism with others. Due to personal relationship the Security man there treats people with the least respect of all. He is always in personal business as well as telling employees what to do outside his position and is just totally allowed. When I called to complain anonymous The head of HR told them names of the people that report so employees just take the abuse and harassment. Diane manager Horrible doesn't care never comes out of office unless again the head Honchos are coming, Holly only manager that gets down and dirty and respects others. Its shame to see some of these people quit because they need a job but this store is like going to Junior high school DRAMA FROM THE TOP ALL THE WAY DOWN. I quit do to all this especially the harassment from Loss prevention, we were called in to office for any and everything he wanted to report it was ridiculous. He stopped briefly as they separated the 2 when finding out he is dating manager now hes back to the store and back to his No good ways. No one should have to deal with this nd there also is a policy about it and its disregarded. Colleen for HR made aware and did nothing blamed every employee well see the turn aruund on How many people have worked there the last few months A DISGRACE!

On Dec.13, 2010, my teenage children and I were victims of racial profiling...We are all African American and a tall family. I was bundled with a jacket and coat and two scarves...I also had on a winter hat...As soon as we started looking at coats, a man (which was the manager) pretended to arrange coats near us that was already neatly in place...I originally went to the store to get an outfit and my son's opinion about a coat I thought he'd like...I asked about layaway, but that wasn't available...I left my kids in that section and went to another department...another employee started watching them...As my son was trying on the coat and getting a feel of the coat, my daughter noticed a loose security tag on the inside of the coat...when she went to touch it, it came off and she sat it on the coat stand...since we were coming back on Dec. 16, my son wanted to assure that the coat he liked was still there so he put it in another place because we couldn't put it on layaway...At this point there are 3 people following us around the store...we went looking around for prospective Christmas gifts and the they all surrounded us and said you all have to leave our store and I said for what cause? They tried to accuse us of trying to steal the coat and I told them we don't need to steal anything from the store and he couldn't make us leave under accusations...so the manager asked where the coat was and my son showed him and told him we were coming back to get it... the manager said as far as he knows, we could come to steal later because that's what thieves do...I told him I know people do that around the holidays, but he had the wrong family...the tags were still on the coat...
Meanwhile there was another lady of a different ethnicity with her big purse open looking at watches and no one followed her through the store...makes me question the motive of following my family..
The manager, security (which the manager called) and the employee were loud and rude and began discussing the situation with other employees...After I made my purchase, I saw an employee pointing at us to another employee as we were exiting...
That was the first time in my life I’ve ever been so embarrassed and accused of stealing…I would never put myself or my family in that kind of predicament… My husband and I work hard for everything our family owns…

So first of all i like to talk about the dating we have there at Burlington Coat factory in Mundelein, IL. I didn't know that its okay for people whom are managers to date there staff their employees. They show favoritism to there men only. You can work as hard as you like but you never get an promotion if your an lady working there. they pick on you always & say nothing but negatives things to say to you. If it isn't you color that keeps you from getting head than its because your an lady. It plain and simple BAD management is there and Corporate does nothing to help there employees. You can complain over an thousand times and they do nothing. They talk about code of ethics respecting each other... why do it if the Store Manager slanders you every chance he gets. Really why work for an company that doesn't values its employees or workers they have... They would rather hire outside the store than promoting within. WOW I don't what to do about this problem we have in Mundelein, IL. Please help...

Burlington Coat Factory Direct damaged diamond

Burlington sells damaged diamonds. I had an issue over a damaged diamond ring my husband purchased a few years ago, I kept it in a bank safe for years and took it to another jeweler to clean and sell and discovered the diamond was damaged. I wore the ring approximately three months and stored it because it never had the brilliance it should have so I stored in a bank safety deposit box and later decided to sell it. They will not take responsibility for the damaged diamond even though I have all the paper work and receipts management would not exchange or take it back. I can also prove the ring was stored by bank statements and a witness. I feel it was in a bezel setto disguise the flaw so that it was impossible to be seen in tiny opening in the bottom of the mounting.
Something told me to take the ring back after my husband told me where he purchased it but it was a gift and I felt bad to do that. I wore it about three months and decided to store it at the bank and decided to sell it since he assured me it didn't bother him.
I will never purchase another item at Burlington Stores again! I don't trust them and they have cost us a value of approximately $5, 000.00! Oh did I tell you it was 50% off! So we are out about $2700.00 with tax! Thanks, we really can't afford the loss, we were hoping to sell this for a better ring! Now my husband's hard earned money is down the drain and we will never trust another diamond! My advise, buy a fake! They are prettier anyway!

My Husband and I purchased a bridal set from Burlington aswell. It was on sale and we were able to purchase the set for $2200. The paperwork shows it is white gold with real diamonds...however... the gold has already started changing colors and the diamonds have turned yellow. I have only worn the set for 6 months and i have cleaned it multiple times with no luck of the yellow being removed from the diamonds. Some of the gold has turned a darker color and the underneath of the set has small green spots. Has EVEN TURNED MY FINGER COLORS! Any thoughts?

BURLINGTON DOES NOT SELL DIAMONDS. THIS PURCHASE MUST HAVE BEEN FROM ONE OF THE ULTRA JEWELRY OUTLETS THAT ARE LOCATED IN A FEW OF THE BURLINGTON STORES. THE COMPLAINT IS NOT WITH BURLINGTON BUT WITH THE ULTRA DIAMOND STORES THAT ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH BURLINGTON COAT FACTORY, THEY ONLY LEASE SPACE INSIDE OF THE STORES.

I recently went o a Burlington Coat Factory, and wanted to purchase these jeans. The store had these jeans on the clearance rack with a tag on them for twenty dollar. When i got to the register the cashier told me that this is the wrong price. This wansn't a tag that could have been easily taken off and put back on, they had tags that you would have to tear off and switch, which I know for a fact could not be done. But inspite of all that she still thought that I was trying to switch tags, which they found out was not the case, one of their employees had tagged it wrong. They looked it up, but I was the last pair in the store, so they did a little more digging and found out that the actual price was a lot more. I was very disappointed, byt the way the cashier treated me, likle i was a theif. It was also poor customer service to me, see as they should have let me purchase the jeans at that price, because it was their fault not mine that the price was wrong. If you go to other stores, if they have something marked wrong, and they know that it's wrong, they would let you have it at that price. Not this Burlington, they don't care abou their customers, and I hope it closes. Without the customers and their money, they would have no business. If I wanted to steal soemhing, i wouldn't want it from there, because they don' have a large selection, and most of the clohes that they do have on sale are no brand name, and don' thave qualtiy materials. Put it like this I would steal some clothes from Walmart, before i steal from them, an I don't think i'll will ever shop at this store again located at 95 th and Hilcrest, in Kansas City Missouri. I've spent money theri several ime, but not anymore.

Burlington Coat Factory Direct poor service!

I cant believe the store has any costumers left by the way they treat there customers. My daughter registered at the baby depot. I had to order a bedding set because they didn't have at the store. They called me told me it was in and they automatic put it on layaway. I had a coupon to use but because the item was already on sale I couldn't use it. If the item was on clearance i could have. They have a big sign up in the store how they will never leave there customers unhappy. Well this customer was very unhappy and even customer relations left me unhappy. They don't really care about there customers. They just want to stick to there guns. Also the person in the store which name was arron was very rude. I shop in the store at Peoria Illinois. Which I wont be shopping there anymore and will tell others not to shop there. Thank you very much for reading this complaint!

I agree 100%! I am currently trying to contact a district manager due to the lack of good customer service. Because my beloved grandmother died a few days ago, I was in Burlington shopping for clothing for the funeral. I'd spent approximately 2 hours matching up items (suits, shirts, ties and shoes) for my children to wear to the funeral and the wake. As I was checking out, the cashier called the manager for an over-ride due to a clearance markdown. The manager refused to acknowledge the marked down price. Her reasoning, as she stated, was that the price was marked down in pen. She stated that they never do markdowns in pen. I asked if she were implying that I had marked the item down myself. I really didn't appreciate that implication. She went to check the price of the other suits. It wasn't an astronomical discount. The $34.99 price was cut to $21.98 . Because it was a clearance item, it was the last one. However, the manager noticed that it was mis-matched. The jacket was a size 10 and the pants were an 8. The suit jacket and pants were tagged together with the price tag. I hadn't noticed that myself. However, with only one day until the funeral and 4 children to find items for, I would have still bought it. I asked if the price was slashed due to the suit being mis-matched. I assumed that since there was not another one like that, it had probably been marked down for that reason. The manager was soooooo extremely rude and refused to honor that price. I stated to her that I was not employed there, and that it was not my job to identify mis-priced items or mis-matched items. She stated that as an employee, the could not possibly check the prices as they are being tagged and put out onto the sales floor. At that point, I requested the number of a District Manager. I was provided a hand written paper that consisted of a first name "Ron" (no last name). It took the manager approximately 10 minutes to look that info. up. I was sooooo dis-satisfied that I refused to purshase the other items that I had chosen (shirts, ties, pants, and 2 pair of dress shoes! The manager was disrespectful, mean and out right rude. I tried the number given to me, and the answering machine message that I received did not identify the "Ron" person as a District Manager for Burlington! I am so upset. Now, I am forced to start shopping all over again for a service that will be held tomorrow. If anyone has any contact info, please share. I certainly will never shop there again!

I completely agree with all the complaints and also wonder how Burlington Coat has survived all this time by treating its customers like crap. I bought a hand-held video game on the premise that it worked. When I got home and opened the package, it did not work. I figured the battery included must have needed replacing. When I opened up the back, I found the included battery had ruptured and leaked battery acid all over the battery compatment rendering the unit permanently damaged. When I tried to return it, I was told store credit only. They had no other games in stock for me to exchange it for. I bought the game in good faith assuming it would work, but now they keep my money for store credit only. I feel they stole my money under false pretenses, and for $8.47, they lost a customer for life. That was back in 1996. I used to spend between $120-$150 per year at that chain before that incident. I was afraid to ever buy anything in that store again, fearing it would be defective, and I would be out the money. I still wonder how they are still in business!

Burlington Coat Factory Direct unfair return policy!

My wife and I purchased a ceramic bowl a few weeks ago. We notived that it began sloughing off it's color and figured it was defective. I tried to return it to Burlington and was told I would get a gift card because the item had no price tag. I had a receipt. I took off the price tag figuring we would be keeping the item. I had to accept the gift card for the return or keep a defective item. I took the card. Your policy on returns is unfair for those items that turn out to be defective. You need to have a different policy on items that turn out to be defective. This was a one of a kind item so exchange was not an option.

I had a very bad experience at Burlington Coat Factory (Greensboro) for return. I was treated with no respect. The lady in customer service and the Manager both treated me very disrespectful way.

I bought a boaster car seat from Burlington Coat Factory. Since this was my 1st time purchase in Burlington Coat Factory, at cashier I asked her the return policy. She told me that I can return it for a full credit

- If I don’t use it
- have original packing
- The receipt
- And returning in 30 days of purchase

The booster car seat I bought didn’t work well for my kid. It looked like may be after a year he will be ready for a booster car seat so, I decided to return it. I went to Burlington Coat Factory (Greensboro) to return the car seat. The car seat was new still in plastic, in box and I had my receipt and I was returning with in 30 day period. But still she refused to refund my money back. Saying why did I opened the box and they don’t take it back if the box is open. I don’t understand if you don’t open the box and looked at the seat how you will know that it will work for your kid or not. She refused to take it back and told me that they don’t accept any return on Bady items that include high chair, car seat... and its Burlington Coat Factory policy. I asked her to show me the policy in writing. No were they have that policy in writing. I was really upset because when I asked them about the return policy they didn’t tell me about this new policy of no return if box is open. Definitely I would have not bought that booster car seat if I would have known about this policy. The way customer service lady and Manager were treating me I felt so bad as if I got this item for free and I am trying to make money on it now. They were like making faces and talking very rudely. I will never buy anything from Burlington Coat Factory never in my life. It seems like their Customer Service and Manager makes store policies depending upon situation. Will never never never…. Shop in Burlington Coat Factory in my life.

Burlington Coat Factory Direct no cash refund

Recently, I fell victim to what I now realize it is a very common scam. The Burlington Coat Factory No Cash Refund. I think the public would benefit from knowing how this operates and avoid my folly. I assure you that I am not the only victim of this scam and suggest that for further accounts visit the website www.ComplaintsBoard.com or for an achieve of these testimonials try:

When you walk into Burlington Coat factory 14 feet above your head is a sign that reads, "No cash refunds." However, rarely when I walk into any place do I ever pay attention to the ceiling let alone what is directly above my head. On September 5th, 2004, I went to Burlington Coat Factory to by to tuxedo shirts, a bow-tie, and a pair of pants. The selection of pants and shirts was very limited but I managed to find a pair of reasonably priced pants and two tuxedo shirts that appeared to be my size. However, it is store policy that shirts cannot be removed from a bag to be tried on. So I bought the only two large shirts available, a bow-tie, and the pants.

When I got home I tried on the shirts and found that they had far too short of sleeves to accommodate my arms. The pants, I noticed, had a small hole in them which had been covered by the security tag.

The next day (not even 24 hours later) I attempted to return the pants and shirts. I saved the tags and the receipt and having working in a retail store myself assumed that I would be able to receive a cash refund. When I arrived I was made to wait until a manager would come and approve the return. After 20 minutes, a manager came and examined the clothes.

He then told the cashier to give me the refund. The cashier scanned all the items and handed me a shopping card. I told him I wanted cash back he pointed to the receipt where at the bottom it stated "no cash refund." I asked to speak with a manager who told me that company policy could not be violated but I was welcome to purchase other items in the store. I insisted that the policy was unfair and seemed a bit dishonest. He pointed to the sign that I had failed to read both times I was in the store and told me that they have done everything the law requires to inform costumers.

Again, this is a sign placed so poorly it didn't grab my attention and a statement that appears on the bottom of the receipt, something you receive after the transaction is complete...far to late to cancel the transaction.

The manager refused to let me speak with the General Manager and I noticed that I was now standing before a group that consisted of all the managers in the store. Feeling angry at the manager's rude behavior toward me and intimidated by the wall of glaring faces and folded arms I took my card and left.

The next day I called the company headquarters. I spoke with a costumer service representative who told me exactly what the manager told me. I asked to speak with her supervisor and was informed that there were not any supervisors. She offered to leave a message for a supervisor but I explained I would call back myself and that I was going to do everything in my power to get my refund. She quickly informed me that Burlington Coat Factory has a team of lawyers waiting to "take care of people like me."

Immediately called back and requested to speak to a manager. I was immediately connected to a manager. This manager when and spoke with the rep I had just gotten off the phone with. She told me that it was my fault, I would not be receiving a refund, and finally, that I needed to stop harassing the company because no one was interested in helping me. I told her that I thought “these policies were a bit dishonest” and at this moment she lost her temper and shouted at me. "No one has lied to you! No one is going to help you stop wasting our time." I asked how any of this was fair to the costumer and her response was, "The costumer isn't what matters.

This policy is good for our business and people like it that is why Burlington continues to grow. If you want help, contact the President of the Company he is the only person that could give you a refund." I told her I would contact him. I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau.

I want people to be informed about the poor costumer service and this legal but dishonest system so that they don't make the same mistake. I do, however, also fear the legal action that I was threatened with and in no way want to get entangled in a lawsuit with such a wealthy and dishonest company. Please do not release my name or any information that Burlington could link to me. I hope that you can help and I thank you for continuing to give a voice to the common man. We shouldn't be bullied or threatened by companies.

Burlington Coat Factory is a fraudulent company. I have shopped in their stores. This was my first online purchase. I must warn you, that shopping online with them will result in absolute fraud.
I was charged for my purchase within 2 hours, as it showed on my bank statement. When you make a purchase, the only way to get a tracking number (and therefore proof of your orders), is to create an account. The site tells you this, but never allows you to do so. I tried over a period of 7 days. The site will tell you that "we are unable to do this at this time and to try later."
I tried calling with the only number they give you to reach them on their site. It doesn't matter what time of day or day you try to reach them. No one will ever answer your call. I tried 15 times, M-F, from 8 am to 8pm. Each and every time, you get an automated response telling you that "we are experiencing higher call volumes than usual." I have waited over 40 mins. No will will ever speak to you nor tell you how long you have to wait on hold. You are never able to reach a real human. I have called their corporate office. I am never able to get anyone to speak to me, leave a message, or even answer an email.
I have cancelled the order. I have received no response. I contacted my bank to stop the charge. Burlington Coat Factory is a fraudulent company, period.

Burlington coat factory in cathedral city california is just about the dumbest place to shop. they have very poor customer service and their managers are the worst. they really dont care about their employees they have one for every department when they should have 3 for each.. one person has to carry the load in each department every day...employees get worked to hard and there never is a raise for all the work that is being put. i give every one that is stillworking there props because the managers there are so unfair with their own employees and even the customers.

I agree it is Burlington Coat Factory's uncaring and rude behavior towards their customers, one where a store manager can harrass customers for any unjustifiable reason at all, where store managers can be rude and uncaring towards their customers, where they will treat their customers and you the public like dirt!

To JDCanda,

Honestly, I have no idea what you are talking about, you must not shop in Canada very often. You get cash refunds at most if not all stores in Canada if you paid cash. If you paid by credit card, you get a credit refund on your credit card. The only time you get a voucher or store credit is at places like Walmart that accept returns without any receipt. If you have a receipt and you go to the store of purchase you'll get your money back. Any store (Walmart, Canadian Tire, Zellers, Sears, The Bay, Future Shop, Best Buy, Addition-Elle, Eddie Bauer, need I go on, will give you cash refunds if you have your receipt and if you paid cash for the items)

On Friday night, January 26, 2007, I purchased 12 items from the above store. On Sunday, I returned one damaged painting. Now, I had paid by check, which the cashier carefully told me would be treated just like a debit card with the funds being electronically transferred immediately and the check handed back to me. I checked online when I got home and indeed, the funds were removed from my account immediately. On Sunday when I returned the damaged painting and asked for a refund of $18.99 (yes, less than $20!) I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to get a check from corporate. 2-3 weeks, when they had my money immediately removed from my account. I was also told that I could have got an immediate refund if I had paid cash or by debit card. When I pointed out that they already had cleared my funds just like a debit card, the manager,, Jim Kied, threatened to have me removed from the store.

This morning I called corporate and was told there was nothing they could do, as this is the policy. I told her if they can immediately remove the funds from my account, I want BN's account number so I can immediately remove the money from their account. She told me to write to the investor group that bought the store and complain to them. Instead, I choose to let other consumers beware of this type of business practice. BN obviously does not care about repeat customers and is willing to lose a customer over a measly $18.99. Mr. Kied was abrupt and rude to both me and my husband. They obviously do not know what customer service is. When they go bankrupt I will laugh all the way to my bank. All this over $18.99. Sheesh.

I understand your frustration, but here in Canada 99% of the stores have a no-cash refund policy. I was shocked when my boyfriend, who lives in the states, told me I could return something I was unhappy with that I had bought in the states. And sure enough, when I brought the item in, there were hardly any questions asked, even though I had already removed the tags, and I received a cash refund. Whenever you return something here in Canada, you always get a store credit and that's only if the tags are still on. If you've taken them off, tough luck. So I understand your frustration but I say consider your self lucky that most other retailers will give you your cah back and use your gift card

Burlington Coat Factory Direct return policy problem

I am very unhappy with the way your store policy of returns are. If that's the way your going to run things, train your employs to tell all customers that if you want to return an item, there will be a store credit issued. I purchased some draperies on Saturday, not 100% positive on the color, so I asked one of your employees if I had a problem can I return them and they said yes, They didn't say you can return them for credit. I feel like I was robbed out of $77.98 CASH. I am now stuck with a gift card and almost $80.00 in credit that I have no use for. I am on a fixed budget and this is not fair to any customer who shops in your store. You should at least have a 14 day return policy of cash or credit. You should also train your employees in knowing the return policy. I would like you to respond to this poor experience I went through. I would also like to return the gift card for credit to my credit card. You can't have someone buy something and then say oh... we can only give you store credit. one more thing... you should post a sign at every register in BIG BOLD LETTERS about your return policy, and not 12' high above customer service. Bottom line, I would have never bought the curtains under those circumstances. I am so upset with this whole situation. I hope you find a way to resolve this issue. Thanks... Chris This was the Staten Island store on Travis.

Their response:

Dear Christopher -

Our Return Policy is posted in the store on a large sign, on smaller ones by the registers, and it is printed on your receipt, as required by law. We have been a credit only operation for over 30 years.

Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you in this matter since the return falls within our guidelines for issuing a store credit.

Sincerely,

Customer Relations

My response back to them:

I knew you would say it is printed on the receipt. In order for me to see the receipt, I would have had to purchase something. As far as signs on or near the register, I looked and maybe you should have a district manager go in and see for himself there are no signs by the registers. I did see the one posted about 12' in the air after the fact. Your company guidelines are terrible and I can now see why your company will not last in the future. Your not customer friendly...

I was going to do everything in my power to get my refund.

These few that I posted goes to show you to get with the times in customer service or people will just shop elsewhere.

Thanks for understanding all my points... Also, get better training courses for your employees in which they should know their return policy and not tell me I can return something for cash or credit...

Burlington in Braintree MA 750 Granite. Sopped, waited in long line and told by cashier "We ran out of bags and YOU the customer must pay us 10 cents per bag to take your paid merchandise out of the store" they were small "recyclable" bags.

I WAS a loyally shopper until the most recent experience that have me astonish. When I shop I do not try on clothes at the stores I prefer to go home and try on clothes. So I made several purchases that total to a large amount. I went to return some items 4 days later because they did not fit and I was told that I can not return. I had to contact Retail Equation which is an outside company that Brlington use to monitor shoppers information. It was expressed since I made several returns a restriction was placed so that I may not do returns for 6 months. This is outrages and not fair for the honest shoppers. I WILL NO LONGER SHOP AT BURLINGTON!

I had ordered two items online. My order number is [protected]. One of the item (#[protected]) couldn't be delivered yet the entire amount was deducted. I was sent an email saying I won't be charged for the item that couldn't be delivered to me but later the entire amount was deducted! How can they do that ?

This is Florida and it's Sumer time. The temperature inside Burlington Factory Store at 3333 N. State Road 7, Lauderdale Lakes is about 40 degrees. I am sure there has to be a law against making employees work in this conditions! This is the United States of America. Take care of your workers!

I bought 3 pieces of luggage from Burlington on 36th street/6th avenue in New York. This morning I discovered that the wheel on a Lucas suitcase was broken.
Am back in my home country and will only be back in August. Can I bring it back then? I would really appreciate an exchange
