This complaint is in reference to Case # 80856457. April 1st 2026 I rented a Grand Jeep Cherokee for my trip to Hilton Head SC. This vehicle was a problem from the start of my trip to the end. The wheel pulled sharpely to the right, the vehicle was very dirty with tacks scattered all over the back to a used coffee /creamer cup stuck under a seat, a headrest would just spring forward and hit the person sitting in the back hitting them in the head. The most concerning was the pulling of the wheel which was severe. once we arrived at our destination my friend looked at the tires and found that the left rear tire's belt had shifted off the tire. I tried 3x's to get a new vehicle and was told nothing was available. I called roadside assisant per the customoer service representive she will have someone come to our airbnb to change tire which they did and put the spare on. I paid $145.00 for this service. I was given a full refund by Budget upon my return to Buffalo but then I was have been harassed byViking Client Services that I owe $319.23 for the spare tire that was put on! I am writing to enform you I am not responible for Budget's lack of maintance on their vehicles and will NOT be paying for a tire. I will NEVER be doing business with Budget again as I rent every year for my yearly trip to the south. I expect to hear from you in the resolution to this issue.
